Le Sacré bistro de l'Abbaye d'Oka

Ate here for thanksgiving weekend and it was such a nice spot! very beautiful scenery and would love to come back and eat at the patio in warmer months. The eggs Benedict was delicious and the staff was very attentive and efficient. It was very cozy inside but I do wish we could’ve been sat at a table with the better cushioned chairs since my mom found the metal ones uncomfortable. Meals were on average around the $20 range and everyone at the table enjoyed their own food. I recommend the ham eggs benedict!

We had Carrot and Squash soup, looked like a bowl of Brown Gravy, no flavour and salty , no resemblance to carrot soup. Our main course was fish, absolutely tasteless, on a very dry Polenta. No flavour, Nada , none. We ordered Cheese burger, it felt as if it was bought from the frozen section of the supermarket. Our Waitress was pleasant but we’re very disappointed with the quality of the food because we had such a high expectations.

This place has some of the BEST food I have ever had. I am absolutely blown away by the taste, quality, and quantity of food. When you visit, you MUST have the onion soup. You'll be impressed. The bourguignon beef is amazing. Thr desserts are amazing. Visit this place. You won't regret it. My thanks to the chef and the staff.

Amazing experience eating at Le Sacré bistro. If I could give more stars I would. The service was absolutely amazing, the couple of appetizers we ordered were delicious! Highly recommended. We had reservations on Friday the 15th of April and we're going back on Saturday to tackle the 32 oz monster! There's also a store close by where you can buy local cheese and other yummy goodies.

Excellent meal and service. We had to try twice as the spot was busy, but we were seated on the second try. The service was quick and friendly, all pretty efficient. We ordered: Plateau d'Antipasto Burger de Boeuf de l'Abbaye Poutine de l'Abbaye au foie gras Tartare de salmon aux parfum d'aisie The Plateau d'Antipasto was split amongst four, and nice overall. It includes Oka cheese, two types of cured meat, and some grilled veggies. The poutine was most delicious, though it is a really large serving. Both of those who ordered it struggled to finish. I usually wouldn't suggest sharing a poutine- but this one you could truly share. Super rich sauce, it was pretty good. My entree was the burger. It was good- a sweet yet tart sauce on it. My only suggestion would be to list the ingredients on the menu. The burger included bacon, which I would have asked to not have, had I known. We had espresso and cafe au lait at the end- It came with a sweet little lemon biscotti. A nice touch. Overall a good spot, nice atmosphere and great service.

The location itself is worth going, and as I read other reviews, it's not a place for young kids or babies. Highly recommend a reservation. The food was okay. The cheese board is generous. The pricing is reasonable. The service is what I expected. Dress in black, polite, and astute. Those who complain about service probably got unlucky. Though, I have to say that it was weird hearing staff talking shop at the bar with peeps sitting as clients (not the guys on the clock). veni vidi vici - that being said, we won't go back unless with friends or some occasion. I would recommend others to go at least once.

We went for a light bite and drinks. Everything we had was good, and there were quite a few drinks to choose from. Service was prompt and courteous. The grounds were lovely and we were seated outside surrounded by lots of greenery.

This is a nice place. Unique in-dining ambiance and beautiful patio. The food is also nice. To avoid disappointment reserve your table ahead of time. Although, weekends tend to be super busy here and you might still experience some delays in sitting and serving. I suggest just to relax and have some drinks. Staff is super friendly and welcoming.
