We ordered the croissant bateau, cinnamon roll, butter croissant, chocolate pistachio croissant, and omelette, and breakfast burrito. Every bite of everything was so fresh, delicious, moist, just amazing. The price was not bad for great quality food. Glad we found this place we will come back when we're in the area.

Le Saint Honore is a hidden gem! Every bite tastes like it was made with love and the freshest ingredients—flaky pastries, soft breads, and irresistible sweets that melt in your mouth. The coffee is rich, aromatic, and perfectly brewed, making it the ideal pairing for any treat. Best of all, Manou’s warm, attentive service makes every visit feel like coming home. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates quality and care in every detail. I was pleasantly surprised by a very special someone who took me to this bakery on my Birthday weekend, and I got to try one of everything. Highly recommended!

Google
We absolutely recommend this place. The bakery items were really good, and they warm them up for us. The coffee was really good too. The quiche was amazing and creamy, we didn’t even know it came with a salad. The menu has a variety of things to choose from. The employee and the owner are super nice. They were very welcoming and helpful. They mentioned that they assist to multiple farmers markets in SoCal. The place has a beautiful aesthetic, organization, and the background music really gives your experience here a final touch.

Absolutely love this café! The service is super fast, the drinks and food are amazing, and the bakery items are to die for. The place is really clean (even the bathrooms!), and the cashier is the sweetest—so kind and helpful. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Google
PLEASE stop and try this place. These pastries are so delicious. There is so much care put into the food, and I will definitely be getting more from them. My boyfriend has a sweet tooth and is IN LOVE with this place, cant wait to try the more savory items. 10/10!!!!!

Google
They acknowledged me right away & noticed I was having trouble reading there menu sign and gave me a hand menu instead. (I do wear glasses but forgot them in the car). The ambiance is great to catch up with friends. I would keep the circle small like 2-4 people. There tables are not that big for big groups. It’s very clean inside & out. Even there restroom is nice ! Super clean & stocked. Now, onto the food portion. There croissants are so buttery, soft on the inside and crunchy & flakey on the outside. The Banana & Nutella Croissant was very delicious. A little overpowering on the sweetness scale but still very enjoyable. There Ham & Cheese Croissant was super delicious the only thing that I would change would be that it had more ham & cheese inside. As you can see from the picture it’s just a small piece of ham inside. The matcha latte unfortunately was a miss for me tasted too much like Oat milk and you can tell by the picture. There French onion soup have a was exquisite. I love that they even provided a side bread with cheese on top in addition to the two that are already inside the soup. The bread is very soft on the inside as well and crunchy on the outside with a nice garlic cheesy taste.

Google
A cute little dessert spot!!! We loved all our drinks and pastries we chose!! I had the White chocolate latte & the crème brule. It was sooo delicious!! My friends chose the iced matcha & hot matcha & my other friend got the Lavender latte. Service was wonderful!! Thank you for all the recommendations!! She was such a sweet server!! Parking was also pretty easy!!

Google
Like a trip to Paris! Incredible pastries as well as coffee! Probably good that it's 90 minutes from us. Otherwise we'd be visiting here nearly every day. Have not found anything that wasn't superb! We love this place!!

Yelp
Tout ce que je peux dire, c'est WOW! I got there about 20 minutes after they opened. Lots to choose from! What do I want? I ordered a plain croissant, pan au chocolat, croissant à la pistache, et une touche de cannelle. Each one was delicious! Baked in that traditional way that is French! Flaky....buttery...sooooo good! I do suggest going early so you won't have to hassle with parking. There are spaces in front, but also parking in the back of The Row. The young woman was friendly for it being so early. They have some nice tables in front. Next time I will have to try the breads! Merci Le Saint Honore!

Yelp
I found this place on Yelp and stopped by during a mini road trip to Escondido. Yay for a free parking lot. The food was plated beautifully! That being said, it didn't taste as good as it looked but was still good. I got the spinach quiche (which was served with baguette slices and a salad) and a croissant bateau (with swiss creme in the middle) and both were good but not amazing. Both were $21.28 (I think with a 15% tip included). They have some cute small tables inside and outside to sit at. The quiche was very creamy inside and has a soft cheese taste. I liked the crust and it was the right amount of salty but could have used a touch more flavor. The salad and baguette slices were fresh and tasty. I would have liked the salad in a bowl so the balsamic dressing didn't get on the quiche (those flavors didn't combine well). The pastries all looked so incredible it was hard to decide! I went with the recommended Croissant Bateau and it was good, not too sweet, but didn't taste that fresh. Like maybe it was made the day before or out for hours. I've had some amazing croissants in LA so my croissant standards are high now! Service was fine - not super friendly but not u friendly - if I was in the area I'd go back and try something else - there's plenty of other things that look great on the menu!

Yelp
For such a small bakery, I really appreciate the variety and tartlets. They have a convenient parking lot behind the stores and are very close to the beach. We ordered the cappuccino and croissant sandwich. Their lunch servings are available for breakfast as well. The drink was served quickly and the breakfast/lunch was house made. Outdoor seating was nice with the marble tables.

Yelp
This is a small French bakery in an unexpected location (in an upscale strip mall next to a pizza shop). Their selection of baked goods is not extensive but what they have is gorgeous. Aside from sweet items like chocolate croissants and tarts, they also have quiches, beautiful loaves of bread, and baguettes. They also had fresh kefir cheese in a little refrigerator, if that grabs you. We only tried a Nutella croissant and it was very nice. It probably would have been better (and fresher) earlier in the day but it was still obviously high quality. Our coffee drinks were fine. I wouldn't call them extra special. Come here, and perhaps come early, for bread and other baked goods and treats. Seating inside and out, and plenty of free parking behind the building.

Yelp
Cute little French bakery by the beach off PCH in Dana Point. We stopped by early on a Sunday morning and had our pick of the goodies. I got the cinnamon twist and the pistachio croissant. So flaky, so yummy, ugh! I do wish the pistachio cream was a little more evenly distributed but it was still delish. The cinnamon twist was delightful as well, not quite as flaky but still yummy. And my husband loved his Nutella banana croissant. There were a few tables inside and a few on the patio to enjoy that early morning ocean breeze. We're not in Dana Point often so I don't know that I'll be back soon but would be worth trying again if I were!

Yelp
Update*** Walked in to grab a few things for our anniversary and this place is still making the goods! Excellent service and the authentic pastries are unreal! The ham and Swiss croissant with everything bagel seasoning was 5

Yelp
Stopped in for a couple hot drinks before heading out to the pier. Location is on PCH and there is street parking right in front if you're lucky, as well as a small parking lot nearby. Employee was friendly; and the cafe was cute & inviting, with seating both inside and outside. They had a variety of both sweet and savory items, and it was difficult to choose as everything looked so tempting! I opted for a French vanilla latte and a spinach & feta croissant and my husband had the white mocha latte and a jalapeño cream cheese croissant. My latte was piping hot, not overly sweet and definitely perfect for this chilly evening. Both croissants were buttery, flaky and delicious.

Yelp
An awesome culinary experience! I ordered a variety of dishes and all of theme brought a smile to my face. I started with a croissant filled with custard and berries. The croissant was moist and the custard had excelled flavor. There were plenty of berries to go around, which allowed for great balance in every bite! The banana Nutella crepe came next, and I had never received a crepe cut into squares, but it was a nice touch, allowing me to share with everyone at the table! I finished my meal with the croque madame and it was loaded with gruyere cheese and ham. The bread had a nice crunch to it and was paired with a great dollop of fruit. I washed it all down with a French vanilla lemonade, which provided a soft sweet element to the normally tart beverage. I was extra appreciative of the staff member who pulled another table over to make sure all of our food fit comfortably for us! I look forward to visiting again!

Yelp
Ran in to get a latte while waiting for our food from another restaurant. Once I saw the beautiful selection of the pastries, I added two to my order. The cinnamon pastry I got was absolutely delicious! Friendly and fast service, I had my latte in no time. This place is awesome!

Yelp
The best place for pastries and quick breakfast in Dana Point! Not only do they have a huge selection of sweet baked goods, they also have amazing savory options. My friend and I ordered a chocolate almond croissant and a ham + cheese quiche which were both perfect. Our server Basil was so lovely!! He asked if we wanted our pastry and quiche split in half- which was so helpful and appreciated. He also checked in on us later. He alone made us decide that Le Saint Honore is our new fave spot! Highly recommend trying here for a cute place to catch up with friends and eat good food :)

Yelp
Simping for baked goods. Le Saint Honore is the sweetest pastry shop in Dana Point. I was visiting Dana Point for a nearby wedding and wanted to pregrame with some pastries. My order consisted of their mushroom, leeks, and asparagus quiche, as well as a raspberry tart. Both items were delicious, but their tart surpassed my expectations. It was the perfect mix of crust to dough. The raspberry was also so ripe and tasty. This eatery offers a number of seats for inside dinners, as well as a small patio along PCH. Since we visited later in the day, the kitchen was closed and they were out of a number of their bestsellers. Highly recommend starting off your day here instead!

Yelp
We had the pistachio croissant, the ham and cheese and the turkey and cheese croissant, the cinnamon roll and a flat white with oat milk, EVERYTHING was so good, flaky, buttery, and the layers perfectly crunchy, they use good coffee too, I got a vainilla lemonade for my kid but he didn't like it since it was a little bitter strong flavor so they gave us another pastry instead, the service is excellent, and they have tables in the sitting area with a nice atmosphere! Prices are lower than other places with the same quality! We ate everything so I didn't take a picture, but everything is like the pictures other people posted here!

Yelp
Amazing pastries! Authentic French bakery with a wide variety of treats. ! Gotta try breakfast next!
google avatar

Daph H.

Yelp
Stopped in to pick up some pastries and picked up a couple of fruit tarts ($8 each). The tarts were lovely, filled with custard and topped with sweet juicy fruit. Best of all, they were not too sweet!. Look forward to returning and trying their croissants and quiche!

Yelp
Cute small French bakery with all the standards including baguettes, loafs, quiches and omelets. I ordered a spinach quiche from the display case and 10 minutes later it was delivered to me hot on a real plate with a fresh side salad and bread slices. I had to deduct one star for too much salt (hard to get salt perfect in a quiche) and the crust seemed more like croissant pastry than a short crust normally used for a heavy quiche like this. I will return to try their other items. The baguette I bought was perfect!

Yelp
Came here two days in a row while staying in Dana Point. Coffee was really good and served hot just how I like it. The baked goods are incredible, had the fruit cream croissant, chocolate croissant, chocolate tart, crème brûlée, ham and cheese crepe and avocado toast between the three of us. All were so good. Service is friendly
google avatar

Yelp
This little French cafe and bakery is a gem. Definitely will come back for their breakfast and a perfect breakfast or lunch spot to bring guests when in town. My husband and I enjoyed the Mushroom Quiche and Pistachio Tart! The Quiche came with a side of greens, French bread, and olive oil. Such perfect combination. The Pistachio Tart was nicely made. Not the kind of creamy or fudge texture. It was soft and moist. The display around the cafe is simple and comfortable. However they were nearly out of croissants when we got there at lunchtime. But they have a wall of good breads for sale. The menu has a variety of options from coffees, savory and sweet foods. There are additional seating available in front of the restaurant. The service is friendly and accommodating.

Yelp
Cute little French place that has French pastries, and coffee also has quiche. The service was excellent, especially from Basil. Basil was very nice and patience answered all the questions and was very helpful. He gave an outstanding customer service. The pistachio latte is amazing. The croissant tastes delicious.

Yelp
I was expecting a bit more given all the good reviews, but I wasn't really overly impressed. Service was good and friendly and there is a nice vibe inside with French tunes playing. There is some nice seating on the patio looking out on PCH. Croissant-kind of meh. I would have expected a more crispy, infinitely layered and flaky croissant like you might find in Paris, but such was not the case. This croissant was serviceable, but I can't say a whole lot more beyond that. The kougin anan was sweet, flaky, and chewy all at the same time, like it should be, but it wasn't anything out of this world. I would like to go back to try their quiche and omelettes, but I'm not rushing. You're only as good as your last meal.

Yelp
I came in for baked pastries but now planning on returning to try the quiche and refrigerated desserts. Pistachio latte- Lilly espresso, milk of choice and pistachio syrup was basic but yummy. Pistachio twist- flaky pastry with yummy pistachio filling and pistachio crumbs balanced perfectly with latte. Sweet and filling. I ate half. Loved the decor and fresh peony flowers.

Yelp
the service here was really next level, everyone was superrr accommodating and gave such a happy vibe for an early morning !! the pastries were sOOO good as ive been craving to go back !! thank you basil and everyone for giving us such an incredible first experience, will definitely come back to try other items !! // cinnamon twist- different from other twists ive had as this one was very soft // almond chocolate croissant- had a perfect ratio of almond paste and chocolate. the almond paste was so tasty !! // nutella banana croissant- ABSOLUTE STAR OF THE SHOW FOR MY FRIENDS AND I, the fresh bananas and nutella was so YUMMYYY !! a definite must try if you love nutella !!

Yelp
Was excited to finally try this local French bakery after having just returned from Paris. Sadly, I found very little joy in what I found. I enjoyed the French style tables and chairs outside-fun! The croissant was light and flakey on the outside but a bit too chewy on the inside, and not as flavorful as I expected, which left me wondering if they use real French butter, flour, etc. in their recipes or not. The cafe au lait was the biggest disappointment! It tasted like burned coffee with milk and was dispensed from a container like any other brewed coffee. Considering it was $5.75, I at least expected freshly steamed milk, which I did not see the woman working there do. When I expressed disappointment and asked for the cafe to be remade, she reluctantly agreed but was very unpleasant about it. The drink still tasted nothing like a true cafe au lait, just wasn't made as it should have been. I also asked for my croissant slightly warmed and the woman forgot about it until I walked back inside to remind her. I'll give them one more shot, but overall was not the experience I had been looking forward to. Perhaps better training for staff in drink preparation and customer service could help.

Yelp
This is a very cute little French bakery on PCH next to Vibe Cafe. They don't have and gluten free pastries but they do have a chocolate loaf which looked interesting. They are open from 6 am-6 pm so I'm looking forward to having breakfast here and enjoying the cappuccino and yogurt parfaits with toms of berries!

Yelp
We recently took a trip down to Dana Point, and I found this gem of a bakery on Yelp. Ambiance: Small, quaint Parisian inspired cafe, French accents throughout, a couple of small tables inside and more outside Service: Service was maybe a little slow due to our 2 quiches that seemed to take a very long time to heat up Food: Pastries are excellent we ordered the Raisin Rolls, Nutella Croissant, Banana-Nutella Croissant, Chocolate Croissant, and the Spinach and Ham and Cheese Quiche. Our 4 adult/teen children loved the pastries, and we thought the only miss was the Spinach Quiche which had way too much spinach for us, to the point that it was bitter, the other quiche was excellent. Drinks: Iced Latte and a Matcha Tea
google avatar

Armita Y.

Yelp
Amazing food and service, Neila is has very good costumer service. Greeted me with a big smile, doesn't look like she hates her job, and while I was eating I realized she is just great at her job greeting costumer with smiles and keeping the area clean. She also makes really good matcha. Better than community goods in LA. A suggestion would be if they added cream cold foam option for their drinks. It would definitely be 6/5 stars in that case. Love it here definitely recommend.

Yelp
This is what I found when I looked up the meaning of "Le Saint Honore"  a pastry dessert named for the French patron saint of bakers and pastry chefs, Saint Honoré or Honoratus (d. 600 AD), Bishop of Amiens, and we local residents are now able to "honor" the chef and owner of this great new pastry/restaurant store in Dana Point. I have 3-4 meals there and each time the service was so nice and the food was so good. First the Bacon Quiche is perhaps the best Quiche I have had in the area. The pastries are all so wonderful and the last time I visited I had the French Toast and as the other items it was so good. Do yourself a favor (but perhaps not your waist line) and get over the Le Saint Honore and enjoy some really fine food
google avatar

Yelp
12/10 would recommend! We stumbled across this cafe shortly before they closed and were so impressed with everything! The decor is so adorable and pleasant, and we loved that they are pet friendly. We ordered a hot chocolate, pistachio croissant, and apple danish - all soooo incredibly delicious. I am normally a savory pastry gal but this pistachio croissant is easily top 5 all time faves!! It's not too sweet, textures are AMAZING, and I could easily eat this daily without regret. Basil was super friendly and kind, and he shared that the pastries are made with real French butter which explains why they are so amazing! Needless to say, we can't wait to come back.

Yelp
I was so excited to have a french bakery in town ,unfortunetly it was only ok. The customer service was extremely friendly but very slow for a grab and go place. It took about 15 minutes with only 2 customers in front of us who also only got pastries. The pastry was fresh and very pretty, the taste was fair. We got the pistachio Crescent flaky but filled with a vanilla pudding making it wet and mushy and Kouign-aman should of been crunchy and flaky but it was soft. The place is cute with a few tables inside and out. Was a little dissappointed.
google avatar

Giselle H.

Yelp
DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND!! The croissant I had was so delicious and full of filling inside, I was definitely not expecting the amount of filling inside because it's more than other places. It's worth the price and everyone is really sweet and kind. I will definitely be recommending to friends and family!

Yelp
My second time coming so delicious! I love croissants and this place sells one of the yummiest ever. I've tried the baguette and coffee and sooo good (also very sweet people there)
google avatar

Kathlin C.

Yelp
I needed a quick bite, so I got a slice of quiche. It was so good that I got a croissant. The croissant was excellent, so I had to get a pistachio croissant as well. Since I try to watch carbs, I stopped there and took a baguette to go. I'll come back for a mini date with my significant other!
google avatar

Jim B.

Yelp
Update - returned a few times and enjoyed the baked items. All were great! I think my first experience was a fluke. Very nice people and I'll be back for coffee and bakery goods. I really wanted to like this place more - and I'll have to give it a second chance because the coffee was very good... but the food was disappointing. Next time I go I'll try the baked items as that seems to be their thing. The avocado toast looked good - but the bread tasted like it was old, dry, lacking flavor. But, one bad dish/experience shouldn't be the final word on a place. The baked goods looked great - I will try them next time.
google avatar

Judy Z.

Yelp
Good pastries but way overpriced. A plain croissant for $6? I also went on their website to see if they use organic or imported quality ingredients to justify the price but didn't find specific info about it other than pastries are made fresh.Service was ok kind of slow. Cute little spot for breakfast otherwise.
google avatar

Kathy T.

Yelp
What a lovely and delicious little gem of a place. Thoroughly enjoyed our Ham & cheese croissant as well as all the beautiful pastries and breakfast sandwich. Fresh breads too! Love it!
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by for some coffee and dessert. The strawberry custard tart was great, not too sweet and fresh tasting fruit. Very friendly service, clean restroom and seating outside. Got some chocolate chip cookies to go. Great place!
google avatar

Yelp
Friendly service. Delicious coffee. Some of the best baked goods around. Don't miss this one.

Yelp
What a great addition to the Dana Point food scene! This is a French inspired cafe where you'll find everything from freshly baked bread and pastries to pistacho lattes and French onion soup. Pros - AMAZING service. We went on a Thursday around 10am and the guy that helped us was friendly and attentive. - Everything tasted amazing. The breakfast burrito was hearty yet not greasy. The cinnamon twist was warmed to perfection. - I enjoyed the modern, cute and clean vibe - Easy street parking as well as some in the back Cons - Not exactly a major con but be mindful that this place is small, so while they do have WiFi, it might not be the best cafe to work! Overall, I high recommend this spot. Especially if it's for a quick bite or a place to pastries to bring to a party or work Thank you to the Le Saint Honore team!
google avatar

Richard B.

Yelp
Some of the best French style pastries I have ever eaten. Especially look for the Cheese Danish with blueberries: to die for. The French baguettes are also on point!
google avatar

Nathan S.

Yelp
A little pricy, but we loved everything we bought. Their kouign amann was delicious and the pistachio thing that I got was also yummy. Highly recommend this bakery if you're looking for exquisite French pastries.

Yelp
I went in this morning to grab some baked goods for the office team. Their website and online information states they open at 6 am. Baked goods on display, fresh water, lights on, back kitchen door open. Arrived at 7:20 am and waited 20 minutes. I called as well to see if perhaps an employee was in the back kitchen. No answer or sign on front door. To say the least, disappointed and won't be returning! Went to Giana's bakery instead! Great customer service and quality baked goods! :)

John G.

Yelp
I was visiting from Scottsdale, AZ. I told the young man my daughter lives in Paris, FR, from where I recently returned. She had recommended Le Saint Honore to me as the closest boulangerie to those in Paris. Basil, who was serving me, was quite helpful in recommending various croissants and a Spinach Quiche. It was Fantastic! Formidable! Basil also threw in a baguette at no charge, stating that it was an excellent complement to the quiche. Parfait!!! Excellent service, lovely ambiance, and a sweet touch of Paris in SoCal! I highly recommend Le Saint Honore. I will be back! John

Teresa H.

Yelp
A friend and I visited this am for breakfast. What can I say? Everything was AMAZING! We tried the ham & cheese quiche, mushroom quiche and an almond croissant. Both of the quiche were huge! Super rich, flavorful and creamy with a flaky puff pastry crust. The almond croissant had a nice filling with powdered sugar and roasted almonds. I wish this place was closer to LA...we'd go there all the time. Generous portions and the person working at the counter was super friendly and gracious. If you're in the area, a must try! DELICIOUS!

Yelp
Checked out this new French cafe on The Row. We came at 8:00 on a weekday. There were a few customers. There are display cases of sweet and savory items. There are additional items on the menus posted above. The workers are friendly but a few kinks to work out. I felt service was slow for what was ordered and my latte came out cold. They redid it and added a pastry to make it up. I am still excited to come back and try more made to order items.

Yelp
Best hidden gem in Dana Point. Discovered it this summer and have been back 4 times
google avatar

Bernadette D.

Yelp
A truly lovely bakery! Beautiful and delicious croissants that melt in your mouth. The pistachio croissant is amazing - perfect pistachio flavor and not overpowered by sweetness. with all the tempting baked goods , do not pass up the quiches. A generous slice of heaven - creamy and light - I don't think I will enjoy any other quiche again. I love it so much, I may go back this afternoon for another slice! The service was perfect, very patient - it's difficult to choose - you want to try them all! The bakery has a cozy space to enjoy your treats and also some outdoor tables. Go soon - I'm sure there will be long lines once everyone discovers this place!

Yelp
Delicious food! Beautiful service! The croissant is melt in your mouth...flaky and buttery...my French omelette was light, packed with mushrooms. I normally don't eat capers, but these weren't strong in flavor and added lovely balance. Cafe au lait was smooth. This was wonderful!
