"The setting will take your breath away! Within the swish, elegant Saint Martin Hotel, whose rooms command sweeping views over the hillsides of Vence and the Mediterranean, your tastebuds are in for a treat. The chef, a keen sportsman and a born competitor, knocked around in establishments ranging from luxury hotels to more confidential houses to hone his skills. As a result, he curates delicate, subtle dishes underscored by intelligently inventive associations of ingredients. The wickedly decadent desserts are a high point of the meal." - Michelin Inspector

Service : great staff !! It started very well with Nathan and his tasty cocktails and explanations. Then Samuel took care of us with a nice selection of bread and cheese. We were very honored to have a Vincent serving us a rose wine as well! They were all so professional and friendly. Food: the food was good but the cheese selection was the highlight of the night !!!! Ambiance: very cozy, elegant. And a stunning view !! It’s worth the try

Let me start with the beautiful entrance of the hotel / restaurant! It’s an amazing place. I made a reservation for the restaurant for the wrong date but they were very flexible and we still were able to have a table for two! Big plus for the service (thanks again). The starter was great and a surprise but after that the main course was more bistro style. The dessert was annoying because of too crunchy buckwheat (and not very tasty). The cheese car was fun! But than we got the bill and they asked 24 Euro per glass of Champagne 🍾 (they did not even explain what Champaign we got served). And they asked 9 Euro for tea ☕️(per person) that didn’t was made well.

Gorgeous grounds and restaurant. Because of the weather could not sit outside or by the window. Luckily had a great company of friends. Had set menu, plus few items to try. The appetizers were great, desert out of this world, some items were perhaps unusual. The service was super and the servers were wonderful. Timeless memories were created. Thank you. Merci Beaucoup!

My wife and I stayed at Chateau Saint Martin for 5 nights with both of our adult daughters, one son-in-law and one grandson. our other son in law was unable to make the trip bc he plays in the NFL and they had camp. We had one regular room in the main hotel and a 2BR villa on the hillside. We had a wonderful time. The staff is fabulous. Our house manager/butlers were Alex and Max (they alternated). The service by these two guys was beyond believable. They organized all of our transportation(including helicopter to and from the hotel to the F1 race in Monte Carlo), all dinners, as well as helping my older daughter with her 4month old baby, who she was breastfeeding. She had a lot of stuff and Max and Alex took the extremely well care of her. The views from the balcony of our villa were amazing. We could see all the way down the valley to Nice and to the Mediterranean. We highly recommend this property and hope we are able to make plans for another visit very soon.

It was good experience. The food is fresh and quality however did not enjoy some of the combination. The price is reasonable for me. Best part of the the dinner are the view and the dessert. The chocolate with vanilla ice cream and rice crispy.

Fantastic restaurant with an amazing view and housed in a beautiful hotel. Service and food were above reproach and as grand as the place is. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area.

Yelp
This is as good as it gets in Vence. Nothing is better...nothing. It's all true. It's opulence, it's scenery; they're all breathtaking. And as for the dining experience, it's very comparable to a 1-2 star Michelin restaurant. From the first to the last course, you'll remember the experience. They take care of you until you leave the lobby. I had so much foie gras during my stay in Vence, but Le Saint Martin served the most memorable one ever. And the beef and the various cheeses courses were also phenomenal. They also make their own sweet wine (or cognac), nicely aged, and very smooth to the last drop. I would come back just for another sip. Highly recommended. Make the reservations. Come a little early to take on the views, and hang out in their lounge.

Yelp
People, this place is a Wow if the highest order. It is a magnificent chateau high about the coast and based on my Uber driver, it was a challenge to find. But I assure you it is worth every stressful mile! I give this restaurant a solid 5 stars and would give it more if I could. Let's break it down: Atmosphere 5 stars - I can't say anything that will do it justice so I will simply attach a picture. It's worth a thousand words. If there food was complete crap, it would still be worth the drive but the location and atmosphere is only the beginning to this masterpiece. Service 5 stars - friendly, attentive and unpretentious. When you come to a restaurant of this level you always expect a stiff and less than personable staff. Not here. They were friendly and loved sharing with you. If you get up from the table expect someone to be on your napkin within seconds to fold it. For heavens sake don't pour your own water. That is offensive to them. Just enjoy the view and the experience. Food 5 stars - if the friendly service and great vibe is not enough they go ahead and slam dunk the food. BAM! I had the steak and it was cooked to absolute perfection. The serving size was perfect. The chef at Chateau Eza could learn a thing or two. See my review on that one. My wife had the sea bass which was pan seared and extremely flavorful. Again, the serving size was perfect. You were not going to leave this place hungry or stuffed. Lastly the deserts. Oh my. Can't go wrong. Order two! Simply well done. Not pretentious and overplayed. Price 5 stars - if the 12 dinners we had in France this was one is the most expensive. We had a total of 4 drinks, one shared starter, two main courses, and two deserts and it was 250 euros. When you take into account all aspects of this experience I considered it a great value. We will never forget this place and if I am in the area again, they will see us! Overall a 5 Star experience. If you are staying in the St Paul De Vence, make the 5 mile mountain drive. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
What a nice hotel! Beautiful vistas and grounds. Rooms are comfy and very large for the region. There are art galleries incorporated into the hotel as well along with large modern art instillations that contrast beautifully with the more traditional landscaping of the grounds. All staff are incredibly gracious and welcoming, English speaking as well so if I needed anything and my french husband wasn't around I wasn't stranded. The hotel is located near Nice with shopping, beaches, shops to rent scooters or motorcycles (like we did!) and the airport but is far enough away it's peaceful and quiet, the hotel itself has quite a history of its own from the Knights Templar to Winston Churchill, it also has ruins on the property from the third century. This hotel is also home to an exquisite two star Michelin restaurant, while it is a bit pricey I would definitely recommend you make a reservation and dine in, the only downside is they allow smoking in the restaurant, what a great way to ruin a meal... My only other quibble is the bar is quite over priced, the drinks are good and I cannot fault them for quality but a €28 cocktail is a very poor value.
