Le Serghi

Simply amazing. The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was just good vibes.

This is the best restaurant in Il de Ré. Absolutely delicious food and wine, in a gorgeous setting. We were only in Il de Ré for a long weekend, but we ate there twice.

Le Serghi, recommended to us by our hotel, proved to be the top restaurant of the week.. The restaurant's tranquil outdoor setting, impeccable service, and, most importantly, the exquisite food made it a standout dining experience. I was particularly impressed by my main course: a perfectly cooked cod fillet bathed in a rich coconut sauce. It was a dish I'll remember for a long time. With limited dining options on Île de Ré, Le Serghi is a must-visit. Why risk disappointment elsewhere when you can enjoy such a delightful culinary experience? So we went twice and no regrets at all! Hope to come back next year!

Probably our best meal in Île de Ré. The service was attentive but not rushed and the food was delicious. We had the avocado and salmon tartlet and Thai cod croquantes to start followed by a fish brioche and a beautifully fresh piece of cod in a coconut sauce. Dessert was really tasty too. Good wine list. Best to make a reservation in high season.

Very disappointing experience here . Firstly , I want to say the waiting staff were brilliant . It was the owner or manager I found impolite . I asked him when he was open and he said 7. He didn’t say they were full though. I went back after 7 and despite 95% of the tables being empty he said they were full . I pointed out his restaurant was virtually empty and then he said I could have a table if I vacated it by 8.30. I said that was fine . Needless to say the restaurant was still virtually empty at 8.30 . I thought the food was very very average & over priced . Cafe de Jardin around the corner is much better . I concluded the owner / manager was either racist or didn’t want to give me a table since I was dining solo. Either way , I wouldn’t go back .

Excellent food, nice and easygoing service!

Great place to grab a light lunch or a dinner. Well located on the harbor, view through kitchen and great cuisine. Went twice this week and enjoy the same great service and culinary level. Will certainly come back in the future.

Food was quite nice. Had the brandade balls, fish cake (pain de lotte briochée) & grilled cod. Price is a bit on the higher side. Service was good.

There are amazing culinary experiences in Ile de Re' unfortunately, this is not one of them. Beautifully situated at the head of the quay in St Martin, the servers and kitchen were woefully unprepared for summer traffic. Many menu items were unavailable. Service, even for drinks, was incredibly slow and, in several days instances, needed to be reordered. A most uninspired menu. Items which we did not receive appeared on our bill. Rarely will I post a negative review but this restaurant does a disservice to France.
