"In this famous village on the Route des Grands Crus, this restaurant is accommodated in a former winegrower's house. Chef Jérémy Pèze treats guests to indulgent, refined and delicate cuisine: pumpkin with foie gras, endives and shiso, Bali cashews; trout from Crisenon's fish farm, spinach with citron and the fish scales smoked; Costa Rican chocolate soufflé, exotic sorbet. A relaxed atmosphere and a remarkable wine list." - Michelin Inspector

I only had a drink and an ice cream there to kill time while waiting for a friend. Didn’t try any food. The waitress, anyway, was really nice, fast, and very polite, and easy to get her attention. Overall, good!

Jacques is superb! We had the best service and food that we had to come back as often as we could. The lamb was the best seared meat we had during our stay in Paris. The déca was my favorite.

An old Parisian café with a friendly atmosphere, as there won't be any more soon. Everything is not perfect but forget it and watch the habitués and the people walking along one of the most beautiful streets in the world (I know I'm not objective, but look at the Eiffel tower above the jardin du Luxembourg and on the other side at the so elegant coupole of the Pantheon...). I work very close and this place is a bit of my heart.

We rented a place a couple blocks away and kept walking by so decided to stop for lunch. Place was very busy but waited few minutes at the bar and got a table very quickly. Took pièce de boeuf (steak) which was very good and well priced, a croque madame and a salad. Service was fast and efficient. The outdoor part was well heated with big outside heaters. Be aware that During late lunch they do not offer only drinks. Great brasserie experience overall.

This café has been one of the worst I’ve visited in my lifetime. 1. Waiters and barman not welcoming at all, the barman was even rude when I asked if my phone can be charged at the bar. 2. Coffee was served in cracked cups ( see photo attached). The most disgusting coffee I’ve ever had. I don’t recommend this place at all, it just seems dirty.

Very good evening for one of my friends’ birthday, we were about 15 people so they booked a whole line of tables for us. The waiters were very nice and catered to all our needs, the food was very good especially the snails and the magret (duck). I really recommend this place for a cosy and very Parisian experience.

Exceptionally bad service! We ordered 3 coffees and waited 45 minutes, and had to approach the waiter on four separate occasions. Each time he reassured us they were coming… and when they did arrive - they were disgusting. He also had promised us “free snacks” to make up for the cafe’s terrible service, which he then charged us for. These “treats” (lol) consisted of a basket of lotus biscuits and stale pretzels, which we didn’t eat. Really disappointing experience and I hope you will never have to waste your time like we did.

The food was alright, but the waiters are not welcoming at all. My brother-in-law big backpack even got stolen in the middle of the restaurant and no one has noticed it. That's incredibly ridiculous! Highly not recommend at all!!

Yelp
This cute place is located right in front of the Pantheon and we enjoyed sitting outside in the sun watching the people walk by. The food was delicious. We had the house fries and foie gras. Very decadent. The toast that came with the foie gras was from the famous Poilane bakery! Loved that! The waiter spoke English well.

Yelp
Having just arrived in Paris, we needed to sit down, have a drink and a small bite. We ended up in Le Soufflot. 2 1664s and a mixed platter of cheese and cured meats later in a pleasant environment we were ready to go again. Nice for a quick pitstop.

Yelp
Amazing service, food was delicious, and my husband loved the 1664 Blanche beer! We are traveling from Florida and our first time in Paris!

Yelp
The Caesar salad here is honestly one of the best I've ever had in my life! It was SO refreshing after such a hot morning exploring the city. I also got a mocktail mojito that was also delicious and refreshing and topped off lunch with an even more refreshing tasty and sweet (not too tart) lemon sorbet! I hope to one day go back to Le Soufflot and glad we randomly found and stopped here to eat. Such a great place to sit and relax with the Pantheon in sight!

Yelp
Named after the architect of the nearby Pantheon and conveniently located if you are hanging out at the Pantheon and/or Luxembourg Gardens. There are great views of said Pantheon from the patio, although we opted to sit inside to avoid heat and smoke. We enjoyed a couple glasses of wine and water. Servers were friendly and when we hit a language barrier with one server (our fault, not hers), she quickly called in reinforcements.

Yelp
After some sightseeing, it was time to rest our feet and eat some food. Not sure of where to stop, we finally settled on this brasserie. Prices of entrees were at least 15€, so we all ended up ordering soups or sandwiches. French Onion Soup Croque Madame Ham and Cheese sandwich Everything tasted a-okay, not mind-blowing. It filled our bellies until our next meal. I ordered a macchiato before we left, which gave me pleasant caffeine buzz for a full hour.

Yelp
What can I say? Our first night in Paris we were wandering around the Pantheon and looking for a place to munch, and I decided upon this totally typical Parisienne gem! My hubby was so proud of me for speaking French w/the not-well-versed-in-English waiter! The foie gras was TRULY some of the best I've ever had! Smooth, full of flavor, an awesome night time snack (if your not watching your waistline!) I had 2 glasses of really nice crisp white wine. My hubby had a beer, a stinky cheese plate he liked and fell asleep at the table (darn you traveling!) Cappuccino revived him. We got there around 10 PM so we were lucky to get some grub. And good grub it was in a cozy setting. I recommend this place for just chilling out. And would def go back :)

Yelp
It is a good place to have drinks and bar type food. The service is friendly and they have nice seats outside where you can relax and look at the people passing by. I liked the Planche Berger which is meat and cheese on a wooden board.

Yelp
Ordered steak and fries. It was cooked perfectly as I wanted. French onion soup was good. Server was nice and spoke English well. I would definitely come back again.

Yelp
As usual, my dining partner ordered steak frite with a pepper sauce, which I liked a whole lot more than my honey sauced duck plate. The sauce was so sweet, I felt like I was eating a a meat-flavored dessert. I ate about half before I gave up. My dish, however, didn't prevent me from getting la gourmand (mousse, creme brulee, almond sponge cake, espresso). None of those really stood out, but it was a nice way to finish lunch and lounge around before going back out in the rain. Even though I'm giving Le Soufflet three stars, I want to make a note about how much I enjoyed being here for lunch. Lots of people were having drama the day I went; a college-aged girl was crying and was being comforted by people who looked like a mom and a brother, an old woman gave the dirtiest side eyes to an even younger girl who spent half an hour putting on makeup while her boy-friend stared at her chest, etc. There was one small table that was used by three different white-bearded men, each wearing herringbone blazers and reading newspapers, over a period of 2.5 hours. I'd come back with a notebook and a sweet tooth any day!

Yelp
The food was okay, but the service was terrible. I had to get up and find a waiter a few times, which was concerning.

Yelp
A solid operation. Been here several times. Good food; not tourist schlock. Good service. Popular with the locals. It pays to know some French here. Great outdoor seating with protection if the weather shows up. Great indoor too.

Yelp
Was craving for a burger and fries and came across this place. It was close to our Airbnb and we were hungry after our long trip. Heard that burgers and fries from France have a unique flavor so wanted to try it out. We order burger and fish and chips. Both were just okay. Nothing too special here.

Yelp
We stopped here for some drinks so that we could people watch by the Pantheon. There was an outdoor concert across the street and the environment was great. We only had drinks and the service was good.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this as we were staying close by. Great menu with affordable 'comfort foods' like rotisserie chicken, burgers, French onion soup, quiche and salads. It was well priced and kid friendly (kid menu). The hamburger was out of this world. Just delicious. Perfect frites, friendly and prompt service. Recommended! Sit outside for a nice view of the Pantheon, and a peekaboo view of the Eiffel Tower. More reasonable than other restaurants along Blvd St Michel.

Yelp
Summary based on one light dinner: -Open 24 December -ok prices -good location -average cafe fare -classic, peremptory service, though not objectionable Good in this area

Yelp
I stumbled on this place while attempting to find another spot to eat dinner. I was quickly seated and ordered my meal, which was the lamb special. Amazing! The place was lively, mostly due to the World Cup game going on. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would definitely recommend it!

Yelp
Quite a cute little spot near the Pantheon with classic bistro fare that is correctly prepared at the right price. This time (as I often order it) my Croque Madame was well made with bechamel, cheese, full slices of ham and a sunny side egg on top. It was accompanied by perfect fries best dipped in local moutarde and a delightful wild greens salad for 9 euro. Service was great by the lifers who wait at true French cafés for a living. The cappuccino was also lovely. It was a good standard, decent quality and Bonne ambiance.

Yelp
Service was amazing! We ordered a well done steak and they gave it to us medium rare and we didn't want to create a fuss so we chose not to say anything and just ate around the red, but they noticed their error and apologized and offered free coffee and desert as an apology! Such nice service and polite staff. They handled their error well which speaks volumes about their business. Great location as well.

Yelp
We stopped here on an evening when we had neglected to make a reservation. It's a large space, so they had plenty of availability - which should have been a sign. The meal was just so-so, and in a city full of amazing restaurants, there is really no sense in wasting time with this one. The menu specifically called out the French Onion soup, but I've had better at Panera Bread. On top of lackluster food, the wait staff was inattentive and my gin fizz was torturous. Skip this one.

Yelp
Not sure of where to stop we finally settled on these place. Nice, quiet little spot near the Pantheon with classic bistro. Good salad, vine and cheese, cappuccino, friendly service and a great location. Recommended!

Yelp
We came as tourists after a long walk from Catacombs. Initially, I found the server to be a bit rude as he presented ketchup at the table upon hearing we were from America. However, a little teasing back and forth, and some delightful humor awaited us as we spoke the language, and made fun of ourselves for being typical Americans. This is not the place to go if you are wanting your ass kissed. But, if you have some knowledge of the French language, make an effort to speak it, and want a fun experience, go here and see Paul/Paulo. We ended up having a fabulous time, and spent over 2 hours. I am so tired of hearing about rude French waiters. It is a different culture, people. These are typical French waiters who deal with a ton of tourists, and are busy catering to several cultures at once. Get off your high horse, have a little sense of humor, and enjoy feeling like a true Parisian. I would never want to go to a place in Paris where I am treated with fake friendliness. I want the real deal, and this is it!

Yelp
chanced upon this gem while looking for a place for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. they had cheap fine de claire no. 3s, delicious mussels, great steak, and pretty good wild duck!
