Le Spinaker

"Mediterranean cuisine in the zeitgeist (ceviche of sea bream and red onion pickles, for example), served in a pleasant contemporary interior or on the splendid terrace overlooking the marina, dotted with pleasure craft. Delightful guestrooms to make the most of the seaside holiday vibe." - Michelin Inspector

We have been coming to this hotel for almost 20 years. On this occasion we noted that the food had improved greatly. Quality cuisine has been an element missing for the last few years but the hotel is now on the right track. A lengthier menu with vegetarian dishes would be a further improvement.

The hotel has great potential like the location and the position but we found it highly overrated.|Our room was pretty used and may at least need some new paintings. Nothing to compare with the site pictures.|The pools were freezing even the heated one and no towels were available.|The staff was professional but unfriendly.|Both days the breakfast table was almost empty and you have to fight for the last pan Au chocolate. |The worst part was the really really really overpriced dinner, not to talk about the 5€ bottle of water. |Won’t come back.

Very centre of a big Marina with views over boats and waterways and with its own mooring. Top prices for the region. Staff superb. Very modern, minimalist décor and fittings, nevertheless a comfortable, functional bedroom. Sweet secluded pool for guests (the best part of the hotel). A separate, elevated platform called 'Deck' for those wishing to see the passing boats and be seen by the whole world - and with evening entertainment. Food inconsistent in quality and lacking the finesse expected of the prices - some dishes, such as fish, meat and fruit desserts were excellent; farcies and pastries were poor; indifferent oysters were 3euros each! I was on marine business for which the hotel was a perfect centre. Overall, a good centre for small business meetings; maybe the only charming one in the area.

The room (a suite) was absolutely lovely, impeccably clean and everything almost new. Very comfortable bed, great air conditioning and peaceful with a lovely view of the marina. The electric blackout shutters were great for when you want to sleeping in a bit longer. ||||The pool was a welcome place to float around in on the big and very comfortable pool bean bags. I would have liked to have seen a jacuzzi or a spa pool also. ||||The location is far enough away from the bustle to be quieter yet you still feel a part of the action. We didn't eat at the hotel during our stay but the restaurant looked lovely so will save that for our next trip.||||Will definitely revisit the Spinaker for another stay.

Lovely hotel. Contemporary decor. We had a very nice room with private terrace. Huge, comfortable bed. Great, reasonably--priced restaurant with very nice wines. Fabulous bar overlooking the marina. Very friendly staff. Negatives: not much within walking distance other than the marina and Delice de la Mer (a great seafood restaurant). If you don't want a full meal, just a snack, the options are limited in the bar (maybe it's better in high season). The bathroom doesn't offer enough privacy. From the bedroom you can see straight into where you clean your teeth and can hear everything going on in the toilet! Also the toilet door doesn't close properly and has a gap around it: even if you're a long--standing couple, that's not ideal!

The room is okay, clean etc.. no complimentary water, but okay. The 2 pools are quite nice, there seems to be enough space for everyone, it's nice to hang out there. The staff is friendly. One star less because of the disappointing food, Dinner & Breakfast.

In the heart of the marina, this place is simply perfect if you want to recharge your batteries. The property and surroundings are clean, beautifully kept and relaxing. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

I just want to highlight that the owner’s wife is very rude, intentionally mean and unprofessional. If you go there, please avoid being around her. I’ve never seen such a bad person. She doesn’t know how to talk to people or behave. She’s rude to both her staff and customers. To avoid!
