Honestly, this is the best Italian restaurant in Paris! I’ll definitely be coming back, the food was amazing, the pasta was perfect, and the Bellini is a must (it tastes just like the one in Porto Cervo!) Everything was perfect I absolutely loved this place!

A place where you can eat authentic Italian food in a unique atmosphere. One of those places you want to visit at least once a week.

Stresa, Paris: The Ultimate italian Trap—Avoid at All Costs Overall Rating: 1/5 (Terrible Value, Horrible Service) If you are looking for an authentic and high-quality Italian meal in Paris, save yourself the frustration and disappointment—do not go to Stresa. This establishment appears to rely solely on its past reputation as a spot for famous people and politicians, because it certainly is not sustained by the quality of its food or its customer service. Service: A Masterclass in Contempt The service was, quite frankly, appalling. Guests are treated with an air of superiority and utter indifference. The staff operates with a shocking lack of respect, giving the distinct impression that they are doing you a favor by allowing you to dine there. You are treated like they are offering you the food for free, despite the exorbitant prices you pay. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. Food and Value: Reheated and Overpriced The core of the issue is the staggering price-to-quality ratio. The food is merely average, yet the prices are extremely high. The culinary experience is far from the standard one expects in a city like Paris. In fact, some of the food tasted suspiciously like it had just been pulled from a microwave. For the premium you are charged, you expect fresh, high-quality, and expertly prepared dishes, not reheated mediocrity. Final Verdict This restaurant is a classic example of style over substance. Its high prices are not a reflection of its current quality, but of a fading celebrity glow. You can find genuinely delicious Italian food in Paris for half the price you pay here, and at those places, you will be warmly welcomed and treated like a prince. Do not waste your money or your evening at Stresa.

Google
The worst service imaginable. 🚨AVOID at all costs. Staff is very rude, and for no good reason. With table of 8, we didn’t even have space to get into the seats. They have to move the whole table everytime we have to leave the seat. We were politely waiting for service but was told off instead. You will not feel welcome there. There is no positive energy coming from any staff — just big ego attitude. It’s so bad even for Paris standard. There are plenty of much better food & service in town! Don’t waste your time here.

I recently dined at an Italian restaurant and would rate it 4 stars. The ambiance was charming, and the service was attentive. The menu offered a variety of delicious pasta dishes, and the flavors were authentic..

Delicious pasta al dente; as per the ambiance, I felt like I was inside a family-owned trattoria in Italy - just with much higher prices. However they are in the 8th arrondissement in Paris close to Avenue Montaigne, so it is consistent. The fact that the clientele were mainly Italians is reassuring for the authenticity and quality of their food.

Probably the best Italian restaurant in the golden triangle! Food is yummy, friendly staff very welcoming! They re still haters leaving bad reviews… don t be fooled. Living in the neighbourhood, haven’t been disappointed yet! Yes it is pricey… but definitely worth it!

Just finshed dinner at Le Stresa! AWFUL! Why? Arrogant waiter who had little patience with our group We felt rushed to order. Rude attitude. The food was mediocre! They made zero effort. I mean ZERO! We saw the same dish that looked better on another table. The penne pasta was below average. I ordered mixed fruit for dessert. The man next to me had the same but they added icecream on top. Extremely disappointing! Especially after a friend told me she had heard it was such a great restaurant. What a joke! Actually really mad about the lousy experience on every level! It seems like a lively place at lunch. It seems to hold some special place maybe for locals all looking at each other to see who is coming in. We should have gone to Anna’s or Shirvan around the corner where they knock themselves out to serve you and the food is delicious.

Yelp
One of the best meals we had while in Paris. They were booked solid two weeks in advance, but they let us come for a 9:30 sitting two days after I called. Excellent pasta, tiramisu, and an extra five stars for ambience. Couldn't have been nicer.

Yelp
I was in Paris for fashion week and had dinner at this authentic Italian restaurant. The restaurant is tiny but the food is delicious. We ordered the eggplant Parmesan & carpaccio for appetizers and had penne arabiata & veal Milanese for main course. Everything was delicious.

Yelp
Below average, not to be recommend at all. Paris is full of good Italian restaurant, this is defiantly not one of them. Staff are friendly but unfortunately the food taste is not acceptable.

Yelp
Tres chic! This restaurant is so lovely. Intimate but with the most 'in' crowd. The food is fantastic, the vibe personal and the crowd worth watching. We came here for dinner in Paris and I loved everything. We shared a few things to start: the proscuitto with melon, the bresaola, and the mini pizza. Everything was fantastic. The pizza was paper thin with the best tomato and mozzarella. The cantaloupe was so ripe. It was the best melon I've ever had. The Bresaola was incredible, especially when we had them top it with parmesan and arugula. For our mains we got three pastas. I had the linguine astice (lobster pasta), we also got the eggplant penne and the arrabiata. The best was the arrabiata with spaghetti! It was so divine. The tiramisu looked incredible but we didn't order it. I will absolutely try it next time! If you want an interesting crowd come around 9:30 or 10!

Yelp
Upscale classic Italian w/ a contemporary twist - it's a decent spot if you have plans on or right near Champs Elysees, but they're not serving the best Italian in Paris. Also they're expensive and I believe they're closed on Sat & Sun. Other than that, they were nice and the service was fine.
