The food was tasty, no doubt, but the dishes are for "tasting" rather than a proper meal imo. In addition, the tables are way squeezed one next to another, which makes eating somehow uncomfortable for me. Overall, I would not describe it as vfm if you are really hungry, but a nice alternative if you are looking for some dishes to have with your wine.
Edit: I am updating my review in response to the "owner's comment", which differs slightly from the one I initially received via email (attached).
To address your initial ironic question, I am certain that I dined at Le Tournant.
Regarding the claim that I did not "finish" my dish, the so-called "leftovers" were pure fat (yellow parts shown in the photo), which I generally do not consume for health reasons. I never complained about the dessert; I simply did not finish the tiramisu, for it was nothing special. There was no mention of it in my review, so there is no need to focus on that.
It is true that I arrived without a reservation and left before the original booking, as instructed by the staff. However, this does not change the fact that the tables are positioned extremely close together, whether a reservation is made or not. The space constraints were not a result of my presence - I did not receive an extra table, as you suggest. The table was already there and was simply occupied by another guest after me. In short, the seating arrangement remains cramped regardless of reservations in my opinion.
I did not decline the table upon arrival because at that moment, there was no one seated close to me, nor was I informed that this would be the case. I was only told that I needed to leave before 9:00 PM, which I willingly accepted and did.
P.S. If your goal is to make guests feel comfortable as stated, reacting so defensively to constructive feedback suggests otherwise. You seem to only appreciate positive feedback. Perhaps my entrecôte was simply too fatty - better luck next time in a reserved and more private table.
Cheers.
