Le Tripostal

Every year Tripostale organized an exhibition around a topic. This year is the Vanhaerents Art Collection "Au bout de mes reves". Last year was Utopy, and so on. So every year is different, what is constant is the good taste of the curators who have an eye for interesting and thought-provoking exhibitions of contemporary art. I am not a big fan of contemporary art, but for the case of Tripostale, this place is the big exception, since the curators somehow always manage to prove me wrong that all contemporary art is rubish. Even if you do not like contemporary art, you should give this place a chance.

A bit too grandiose and fashionable rather than art but cool design

Usually I come with friends. There are nice expositions. It is an excellent option for a cultural activity and normally for free. :)

Top exposition, there was only too much people around to really enjoy the beautiful correction and the entrance was organized in a chaotic way. You can reserve a time slot, but in practice they let in everyone I.m.o.

Great art museum with exhibitions from different countrys. Also explaning signs, writing in english. Nice souvenir shop too.

Best exposition I've seen this year. Although a little on the pricy side, it is 100% worth it. All the exhibitions were mesmerising. Everything was amazing, and the short clips were extremely moving. My favourite was obviously the infinity light room, which you should definitely visit if you have the time.

Excellent gallery space with bar, restaurant, gift shop, rentable special event space, and coat check. Several stories high, vast rooms with clean lines and very high ceilings. Seeing the Saatchi Gallery's Silk Road exhibit there was a sublime and moving experience.
