Le Trou Starts Showering Griffintown in Bagels Right Now | Eater Montreal

"A small, dedicated Montreal-style bagel bakery in Griffintown opened by local couple Alexandra Grenier and Damien Cussac rescues residents from trips to Mile End or less-than-fresh grocery alternatives. Grenier spent over a year perfecting her bagel-baking skills, selling them out of her home, and the shop is a non-chain effort that sticks to the classics—sesame, poppy, and plain—plus one special Griffintown bagel whose contents are currently a mystery. With about a dozen seats and counter service, Le Trou serves to-go bagels as well as ready-to-eat sandwiches and coffee, making it a viable breakfast and lunch option. The bakery partially opened this week and held its official opening on Saturday, February 9 (National Bagel Day); it is open at 1845 William from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday to Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, closed Monday." - Tim Forster

I was there in sunny Sunday where it was full nude. I was nicely greeted at the door qnd made to feel at ease since it was my first time. The location is very central and easy to find. The place is quite distributed in different zones ((s&m, room with beds, dark room, labyrinth, movie and several private cabins) and split across 2 levels. The crowd is mainly Caucasian and I felt it gravitated more between a late 30’s onwards in terms of age but very diverse in body type. It also has a smoking room. Apprehensive at start, in the end I had great interaction with the locals and, despite the language barrier, I felt welcomed, if you get the me (LOL). A special thank you to the wonderful doorman/receptionist I will definitely go back!

Very nice and fun place. Decided to go on my last night in Lyon. It was naked night? I like being naked so I knew I was going to have fun. There is no liquor license, which was disappointing, but all the smokers we in a glass box (naked) threat place for them. Men were friendly, staff was great and spoke English. I recommend going for

One of filthiest places I have ever seen. No proper ventilation generates a sticky, heavy atmosphere in which body odors mix with poppers and the cellar’s damp. Mostly older, desperate crowd wearing all possible Village People style attires or none at all who will chase you down irrespective of your interest or lack of it. No condoms provided. Beverages limited to non-alcoholic products and water in tiny plastic bottles.

This is your place if you are a sober person. I’ve never been in any cruising place in the world where they don’t sell alcohol. Place is in good conditions.

Yelp
Contrary to some reports, this place is not closed, I was there on 16 January 2018. I got charged 10 euros entry fee despite being told over the phone that it was 8 euros. Also, for a can of coke (no alcoholic drinks are served, not even beer) and a bottle of poppers, I was charged 20 euros. You pay on leaving. The barman initially said 10 euros and I put ten down on the counter which was quickly snatched by him as I turned to talk to someone behind me. Then he revised the bill to 20 euros, so I took out another 10 euros and gave it to him and he insisted I hadn't already given him 10 euros, so I was forced to give yet another 10 euros to avoid an argument in a sexclub, so the cost of my visit totalled 40 euros because of this theft. And the place was virtually empty with mainly dirty old men wandering around and a bad odour everywhere. No way will I go back there when I'm next in Lyon in a few months.Tourists beware.
