"This friendly family brasserie abuts the busy N4 highway, but as soon as you see the rolling Ardennes countryside to the rear, your peace of mind is restored (don’t hesitate to book a room here if you would like to explore the region). Frédéric Bolis finds his inspiration in purebred French classics, to which he is not averse to adding a personal spin. Terrine of foie gras with savoury sides, entrecote steak in a Josper charcoal oven, fresh pasta with truffles: the enticing dishes on the set menu and the à la carte offering of this seasoned chef will win over the most discerning foodies!" - Michelin Inspector

Solid place though maybe starting to look a little tired in places. Friendly owner. Room was a good size though their were a lot of flies in the room. (probably a seasonal thing) Evening meal was excellent almost fine dining (so therefore not a budget meal) breakfast was good but nothing outstanding.

I booked a room in advance for only 1 night: a comfort room with double bed, with view out on the garden. Alas, the room was on the 2nd floor, no escalator. Husband handicapped (lung disease), but no mercy. C’est dommage. Room was not ventilated, very hot and no airconditioning. Luckily we brought our own fan but we didn’t sleep much due to extreme heat. Breakfast was going to be served from 08.30h. However, we fled out of our room at half past 6, only to sit on the terrace outside and wait for a staffmember to pay for our room and diner of the night before, which was excellent by the way. We skipped breakfast when we met a staffmember at 07.45h, but since we ordered breakfast when we checked in, we had to pay for breakfast, €10 per person. Our advice: Please avoid this hotel, it’s outdated, staff is not helpful at all, no service, not friendly. Just go there for dinner, they serve good food.

the hotel is located nicely on a hill with good view over the area. Quick and efficient check in and a nice welcome. nice and tidy rooms but no extras.||Restaurant area personally and smart decorated. what we really missed was and area to just sit and take a beer and chill out

The rooms and bathrooms are old and need to be renovated along with the rest of the hotel. The restaurant was small and served good food! The staff was friendly and helped us get by with our minimal French

Booked a suite for the night at 79Euro so i know this wouldn't be a 5* hotel and can cope with it. Room was extremely outdated though and this is a pity! Especially the bathroom needs to be refreshened and as there is no airco nor fan, windows should have mosquito/flie -nets. The tele is an outdated small camper/motel model and in huge contrast with the square meters of the room that is huge. Breakfast is optional (10Euro and can only be served as from 8 am the very earliest.... so had to pass that step)||Food-wise this is a nice stop but please mention if you are not in a hurry as food comes extremely fast.... and prizes are on the top end for the quality offered but again food was good!

A bit overpriced for what you get. Room was a bit dated and in need of some desperate maintenance. Nice quiet location but food very expensive.

Comfy rooms and great breakfast, close enough to Bastonge if you're trying to stay in that area and want a good place to stay at.
