Came here during a weekend trip to Montreal, and let's just say...it wasn't very good.
My friend and I stumbled in here after walking around all day. We wanted some serious pub grub, and we were very disappointed.
The cheese sticks were quite good, but they were served with salsa which was strange. The burgers were awful. Big, sure, but having been at a much better pub the day before, this was like eating leftovers from McDonalds. Service was awful. Don't even get me started on how bad the fries were. I had to slather them in ketchup in order to make them taste somewhat decent. They were greasy, and really chewy. No crunch whatsoever. Could have made better fries at home.
We barely got any notice from the waitress, partially because there were larger tables filled with business men who occupied most of the time. Either way, it took her forever to take our order, and she barely checked in with us at all. All in all, we could have let it slide if the price was good, but for 2 mixed drinks, a cider, and 2 burgers we paid almost $80. Contrary, we had almost the same food the night before somewhere else, and it was almost half the price.
The atmosphere was great. They had good music playing, and it felt like the pubs I've come to know and love in the UK. The selection of beer on tap was great. I'm sure its a lovely place to come for a few drinks on a night out, but the food was honestly disgusting and the wait staff didn't help. Highly disappointed.
