"In Paris, charming little eateries are a dime a dozen, but this bistro is a true standout. Located just steps from the Musée d’Orsay on the left bank, it serves reasonably priced French fare (duck breast, eggplant, tarte tatin), excellent wine, all against a backdrop of a lipstick-red banquette and a caricature wall. This is a neighborhood spot that gets pretty packed with locals in the evenings, so don’t expect to run into too many tourists."

We stumbled on this restaurant as we were looking for somewhere close to the station. It is a fantastic real French brasserie, the food is amazing. We went back two nights later on our last night in Paris as we enjoyed it so much. Great food and wine at reasonable prices, good selection to suit a range of prices and tastes. We would definitely recommend. Loved the atmosphere and the staff, who could speak English and seemed to be able to talk to all the customers.

Stumbled upon this spot while exploring Paris and it did not disappoint! The staff are very friendly and we were able to speak English with them. My compatriot is vegan and they were able to accommodate and prepare a very delicious vegetable meal with a side of french fries! Desert and other entrees are excellent! Would highly recommend. Have a nice outdoor patio area as well

- Escalope de veau crème et champignons (veal with mushrooms in a cream sauce). So good. This was recommended by the server as the more popular dish and it did not disappoint - Oeufs cocotte with foil gras. This came with 2 eggs in a boiling hot plate with pieces of foie gras in it. I absolutely loved it. - They continuously refill your baguette which is nice, but try to not to fill up to much on it! - Prices were fair. The main courses are under 30 euro, and the starters are under 10-15 euro. I think the quality of the food certainly justifies this - Very kind and hard working servers. I was impressed with the chefs as I saw them working behind the scenes from my table. I would strongly recommend this restaurant. I got a table at about 1230pm, but it quickly filled up after that. Consider a reservation if possible

Visited back in 2015 when we were there during the Bastile Day celebrations. The food was delicious. We dined there 2 nights in a row. The atmosphere was cozy neighborhood and it was a gem. My fish was cooked to perfection & the white sauce was delicious. My son said that it was the best Creme Brulee he ever had. The wait staff was excellent. Whenever I visit Paris, I will always stop by and dine.

The filet was delicious as were the accompanying fries. Service was fantastic! My wife had the lentil salad and said it was very good. No complaints here. It is a little pricy but considering the area we weren't surprised. If you want cheaper food you have to get away from the big attractions like in any town. A great meal on the way between the Army museum and the Orsay.

Had a really super lunch here. Lovely outside seating available. Prices are not bad for Paris. The daily special rabbit with mustard sauce was superb and the veal with mushrooms also nice. The waiter was very kind and patient with our lack of French and there was an English menu available.

Google
Fantastic food and service. We had cold cuts platter as a shared starter (EUR ~20) and it was huge and delicious. Then we had ravioli and veal cutlet with mushroom sauce and they were both incredibly tasty (EUR 16 and 19 IIRC). They came with a big platter of complimentary French fries. The staff speaks English.

Google
Great casual place with very friendly service and excellent food! Goat cheese with roasted red pepper and aubergine & fois gras starters, lamb and veal entrees plus créme brûlée for dessert. On a quiet side street near Musèe D’Orsay. Excellent!

Yelp
WARNING...tried twice for later dining, lunch and dinner. arrived at least an hour before posted closing and told both times the kitchen was already closed!! Also requested reservation on their direct email...no response to request! Good luck if you like late dining, not the place to go!

Yelp
This place is JUST outside the immediate vicinity of the Musee d'Orsay, its prices and quality adjusted thusly. We had a late lunch with some Charcuterie, I forget what my wife got (soup maybe?), and a 16 euro bacon cheeseburger that was perfectly cooked. Inexpensive house wines by the quartino.

Yelp
Delicious! Great neighborhood spot! Highly recommend the Cesar salad, ravioli starter, and cheeseburger and fries, and the barely cooked chocolate cake and ice cream (were all amazing)! Also had some good tar tar and apple tartine!

Yelp
Wonderful surprise after touring The Louvre and D'Orsay all afternoon. Nice French restaurant within walking distance to the museums.

Yelp
I would not hesitate to go back here or recommend it to a friend. I felt very welcome and even though my tourist french isn't so great, they easily switched to english and made me feel welcome.

Yelp
It has been 3 years since I visited Paris, but since I just joined YELP I thought it time to post a review of this wonderful restaurant. During a 10 day stay nearby, my husband & I went twice and I went once alone when he was ill, each time for dinner. All three were thoroughly delightful dining experiences. The food was delicious. Both times my husband had a steak cooked "bleu" which pleased him to no end. I don't remember what I had on our first visit but the second and third times I had the best lamb chops I've ever had. The waitress was the same on all three visits and could not have been more courteous and accommodating to our pathetic command of the French language. Go here if you are in the neighborhood. Seek it out. It is really quite special and a very welcoming atmosphere for Americans who make an effort to "blend in."

Yelp
Great local bistro with awesome food and great service. The veal and escargot was very tasty that was accommodated with fresh bakery baguettes. The servers attended very well to us and were willing to help best as possible. I would rather star 4.5 but this option is unavailable. Overall great little restaurant.

Yelp
You are not welcome here Having passed this place hundreds of times, I finally tried to enter last night, just to have a drink at the bar. Maybe it was because I was speaking English with my companion, we were told that the bar was reserved for patrons of the restaurant (it isn't). In any case, we didn't stick around for dinner, having received that cold shoulder from the manager/owner.

Yelp
Best food I have had in Paris. The food is delicious, the staff is very welcoming, and the restaurant atmosphere is great. I cannot recommend this place enough. Looking forward to Paris again just to come here!

Yelp
Great food, great atmosphere. Walked in with a group of five for lunch, were seated immediately. Service was quick and friendly (even though we spoke very little French). We had the plat du jour (sea bass and mashed potatoes), and the ravioli, both of which were delicious.

Yelp
Fabulous ! If you want a beautiful meal, near to the Musee D'Orsay with a fantastically french menu, this it the place for you. The lentils and lardons are fabulous. The decor and atmosphere combine to provide everything you need for a perfect memory of Paris.

Yelp
Great lunch, sort of bistro meets Italian blend in the menu. Service was great with a great young waitress who spoke excellent English even though they got slammed after we sat down. Our girls started with escargot (excellent) followed by ravioli in a light pesto cream sauce. We started with their spin on caprese, massive ball of burrata with a skinned tomato (different presentation for sure) and bean salad with foie gras, both delicious. We then had veal Milanese and the chicken tagine special, both of which came with a ridiculous amount of fries. Our five year old had the bacon cheeseburger (Americans in Paris!) which also was great (we all definitely had bites). Probably deserves five stars although after a few days in Paris our standards have definitely gotten higher as everything is amazing.

Yelp
I never actually ate or drank here, wasn't permitted to do so by the owner/manager on duty, probably because I was speaking English to my friend as we walked in, and/or we weren't wearing the right pointy shoes and/or didn't park our motorcycles on the sidewalk like every other patron seems to. I have passed this restaurant again and again and told myself that I would like to try it as there is always a big crowd within, spilling out onto the sidewalk, smoking, drinking, laughing. But it seems you have to be up to the restaurant's snuff to get in. Though several others were having a drink at the bar--and had obviously been doing so for quite some time--we were told that the bar wasn't a bar, and that it was for patrons of the restaurant only. Living in the neighborhood as I do, and knowing this to be patently false, I told the owner/manager that I wouldn't forget how he just treated me and would make sure that as many people as possible would know about it. It was only then that my companion (an American who used to live in the neighborhood) told me that the same thing had happened to him before at this establishment. It's a shame because the place looks warm and inviting, but I would counsel potential patrons to be wary of the welcome you probably won't get.
