Came here for lunch for my birthday and could not fault a single thing.
Food was delicious. We had pork rillettes and some bread to start. The sourdough was from the Briar bakery a few doors down and it was the perfect combination for the rillettes and giant pot of cornichons.
We shared the half chicken, potaotes and gem lettuce and could not believe how tasty the potaotes were. The chicken was perfectly cook and the garlic and herb butter was the perfrct accompaniment.
To finish everything off, we had the vanilla bavarois with blackcurrant and hazelnuts. The perfect ending to our meal.
The staff are lovely, friendly and are more than happy to suggest alternatives for dietry restrictions as we overheard from another table with a dairy and gluten intolerance.
Will definitely be back
