Le Vingt Trois, or Le 23 Cafe for short, is a cafe and bakery located in an industrial-esque plaza with other businesses. They just opened back in February during the pandemic, and I am glad that they are here in Herndon!
Their breads and pastries are all made in-house - the menu offers various soup, salads, sandwiches, and desserts, as well as a nice selection of tea and coffee beverages.
We didn't have room for an additional meal, having lunch recently, but we definitely had some room for some drinks and a dessert - I had the Whipiccino (which was a frothed, sweetened espresso, poured over ice cold milk) and a Havana Cold Brew (vanilla cold brew, topped with the house's snow foam), while the hubs had the Berry Hibiscus iced tea (which is brewed-to-order!). The drinks were expertly made!
We also couldn't pass up on the slice of the pistachio ricotta cake - this was absolutely DIVINE! It was so fluffy, creamy, and delicious, not being too sweet!
You can tell that everything was crafted with love and a smile - the staff here were just so welcoming, kind, and friendly.
There were plenty of comfortable seats available, and there were some patrons who had their orders to-go.
I'd love to return to try out the rest of their specialty coffee drinks, featured cakes, desserts, and their sandwiches with the housemade baguette!
Thank you for existing, Le 23 Cafe - what a gem in Herndon!
