We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Leatherby’s in Lincoln! From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special. Our server, Sophia, provided exceptional 5-star customer service throughout our entire visit. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her warmth and professionalism really elevated our dining experience. We also had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Shaylin, who went above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. You could tell she genuinely cared about our experience, and that kind of authentic hospitality is rare to find these days. It’s clear she takes pride in running a quality establishment. The food was fantastic, but the dessert was truly the star of the show, absolutely incredible! Everything exceeded our expectations. The restaurant itself was immaculately clean, including the bathrooms, which is always a great sign of a well-maintained establishment. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Leatherby’s to anyone looking for delicious food, amazing desserts, and top-notch service. We came with a fairly large family on a last night on a Friday night and the service was Incredible. Very friendly staff. Food was amazing. And the ice cream was perfect. We came from Modesto and will be visiting more often. Amazing place. Thank you for the experience. I ordered the new chicken buffalo sandwich and the new lemon ice cream Sunday. I may be butchering the names of my orders but very much enjoyed it.

The Real Deal is Leatherby’s Family Creamery which delivers on refreshing treats and creamery foods. Let’s start off with the service that has always been fast, well done, and with a smile. Nothing but surprises for the staff. The atmosphere looks just like an older type of diner, a creamery type of ice cream parole, and does feature a new group party area with tv and fire place. There is a little of different dining experiences to be had here. Let’s get on to the food!! I tried the BBQ Ranch Salad which was ok 7.5/10, it needs some fresher ingredients like the corn must of been from a can, the dressing were solid though. The ice cream is where it is at! I tried a bunch different once Peanut Butter Oreo very tasty 9/10. 1982 Ice Cream which has Chocolate and Carmel and Oreos 9.5/10. The Cookie Dough is the best cookie dough ice cream I’ve ever had with a brown sugar base instead of vanilla 9.8/10. Overall you want a n amazing dessert involving ice cream come to this spot! I will be back!!

Great to go back to a family favorite. I had the seasonal peppermint sundae. It was delicious. The 1982 ice cream is a real gem. And the caramel and hot fudge are gluten free, which was great for my celiac son.

Mmmmm.... love Leatherbys ice cream and fudge. I order the Richs Bannana Split with 2 scoops of pistachio and a third scoop of whatever I feel. Some of my favorites are mint chip, chocolate chip, toasted almond, or butter pecan. This order comes with several different toppings and I love them all. The toppings are pretty typical as toppings go. For food, the club is one of my favorites. Their fries are coated which give them an extra crunch without being too crispy. I love them hot to dip in my ice cream... (don't knock it till you try it - trust me). Gets loud in the restaurant but it is a popular place so there are lots of people in there.

My wife and I came in with both our kids today. When we first walked in we were greeted, not by the front end, but by the kitchen yelling welcome. I liked the enthusiasm coming from there, the front end could of been happier, but could be because of day lights savings. The place was pretty clean as they just opened and we were seated at a requested booth. This was our first time being at this Leatherby's and it's been many years since we last went to one in Sacramento. Their menu is quite basic and only has a couple items on it. I ended up ordering the Daddy Dave's Burger and my wife ordered the California Burger. When they first arrived I couldn't believe that what I got warranted the price of it (around $20 for a Burger and fries). Comparing my burger to my wife's it was about the same height so the only assumption I could come up with is what's inside that makes it cost so much. I will have to say, this was probably the best Burger I have had in a long while. It was two hamburger patties with lots of cheese, bacon and red onions sandwiched in-between essentially 2 grilled cheese. The hamburger patties were seasoned perfectly, the cheese amazing. I cannot express how well they made this Burger. My wife said hers was really good as well. She really enjoyed thw fries as well (I thought they were alright, but I'm not much of a potato person). My kids had a scoop of ice cream each. One had strawberry and the other chocolate. The strawberry was pretty good, but not spectacular. The chocolate ice cream was grainy and didn't seem like the best quality. Their ice cream came iwrh 2 cookies each, but they were like those small Amos chocolate cookies, so a bit disappointing there. My wife and I shared a Christina's caramel craze. The ice cream was decent, but the caramel was possibly the worst I've ever had. It was fluffy, grainy and the flavor was off. I'm used to thick rich and hot caramel on my sundaes so this was just off-putting. Overall 4 out of 5. The burgers were amazing, but what they're known for, ice cream, was lackluster and disappointing. I will definitely go back every now and then for their Burger, but won't go a lot because that price is a bit high.

I stopped in to get a beverage on a rather hot Roseville afternoon. I was immediately seated and brought a menu and icewater. I ordered iced tea with extra lemon, and was brought it in very short order, with a refill very shortly thereafter. I found myself amazed (and ultimately paralyzed) by the huge variety of food and ice cream treats on the menu, and ultimately just had the iced tea. The interior is very charming, clean, and bright. Staff were very cheerful and friendly. I hope I get to return to Roseville so I can better plan, and stop into Leatherby's for lunch or dinner and a sweet treat for dessert.

10/17/2025 Leatherbys is always my go to spot for ice cream when I come to Sacramento from San Jose. Tried their food for the first time and it was better than I expected. In fact, it was DELICIOUS. The crab sandwich was a steal. It is their specialty for a reason and worth the try. Came with loads of crab fries were nice and crisp. Brownie bliss was wonderfully large for a single person who just finished half of crab sandwich. But, every bits makes u want more. Although the Carmel sauce wasn't my favorite I love the chocolate sauce on my vanilla ice cream. Anyways. You know I'll be back for more. Only sad thing is that they don't have one opened in San Jose area. I would have gone three times a week just for ice cream.

This Leatherby's is a cute little parlor off Twelve Bridges. The place always feels friendly and bright. If you plan to come, avoid game nights or school events. The kids all head here afterward, and the line can go out the door. It gets crowded fast, especially if you're only stopping in for dessert. Sometimes they run specials like $5 chicken tenders or a BOGO deal. They also have a happy hour on appetizers, which is perfect for a small late-night snack.The ice cream and food are always good, and the staff stay patient even when it's busy. Four stars from me.

Leatherby's is a family friendly restaurant that is a combination of an old fashioned ice cream parlor and a diner. Checkerboard floor. It's walking distance from John Adams Academy and Twelve Bridges High School. Service is efficient and friendly. It's a large enough space to celebrate a birthday, where the servers will ask the entire restaurant of customers to sing Happy Birthday to you! I like a deal, so I may be tempted by a Thursday special offer advertised on Instagram or Facebook. For example, this coming Thursday 10/2/25 has a $2 Root Beer Float available in store or through the Leatherby's app. There is the Deal of the Day menu for weekdays 11 am to 3 pm: Monday: Turkey & Cheddar Sandwich Tuesday: Miller Hot Dog Wednesday: Egg Salad Sandwich Thursday: Eli's Steak Sandwich Friday: Tuna & Cheddar Sandwich I like the Egg Salad Sandwich and Tuna & Cheddar Sandwich. It's tuna salad, so it's not a tuna melt. I found the steak sandwich was dry. I haven't tried the other daily deals. One side comes with the Deal of the Day: Fries (the most popular side and biggest portion), Potato Salad, or Coleslaw. You can pay upgrade fee if you would prefer salad, chili, or fancier fries. So far, I have had the fries and potato salad and enjoy both. Leatherby's is known for their Fries, so try them. There are Chili Cheese Fries, House Fries, Garlic Fries, and Parlour Fries. As with many fast food restaurants, the fries taste best when freshly fried. There is also a Happy Hour menu available 2-4 PM weekdays and 9 PM to close every day. The Triple Cheddar grilled cheese sandwich and Basket of Fries are my favorite Happy Hour items. I found the cheeseburger dry and flavorless. Leatherby's has a Crab Sandwich that is popular. If you order it or any sandwich/salad/burger/chicken strips as a Combo Meal Special, you get a drink and a sundae. Although the crab sandwich is tasty, I don't feel it's good value because I didn't get much crab salad inside the sandwich. My crab sandwich was unevenly distributed. Lastly and most importantly, Leatherby's is known for making its own ice cream. The ice cream machine in its own room is on display. Many ice cream flavors. Seasonal flavors I like include Huckleberry, Orange Creamsicle, and Peanut Butter Oreo. Toasted Almond ice cream is a great flavor used in the popular Black & Tan sundae. I believe you are allowed 3 tastes to help you pick a flavor. The sundaes are huge and overflowing with the sauce or sauces of your choice. Hot Fudge and Caramel sauces are the customer favorites. Hot Fudge was too sweet for my taste. I love the Creamy Peanut Butter sauce, which my last server told me was her favorite. It's airy and pale in color, so it doesn't resemble PB. Maybe I will try the Marshmallow sauce someday. A small sundae is plenty for me. Download the Leatherby's app and sign up for the Rewards program to get a free small sundae for your birthday. If you need a fast, affordable meal or want an ice cream treat, Leatherby's is your place.

This is a nice spot we like to visit when we want some ice cream, particularly indulgent sundaes. The ambiance is lively & bright with oldies music playing in the background. There is a lot of table & booth seating. On our latest visit on a hot day, we found the AC nice & chilly inside. We sampled a few yummy flavors at the counter & then waited to get seated. Our table was clean. However, the booth material was torn with exposed foam. The staff is generally very friendly & helpful. They're fairly attentive for as busy as they can get & don't try to rush you out. We got scoops of ice cream that we all enjoyed. Eating from a sundae glass adds to the ice cream shop experience versus getting a cardboard cup. We took advantage of their afternoon happy hour (2-4p on weekdays) to get some tasty fries & added the delicious Ranch dipper. I appreciate how they kept up with cleaning the tables, but if it's a table nearby, the spray cleaner scent can waft over. I realize it must be hard to maintain cleaning all the little fingerprints on the windows & drips on the door handles, which I couldn't help but notice. Overall, coming to Leatherby's is a delightful & yummy experience for our family.

I would love to give this place 5 stars, but I just can't. The service was great and the staff is very fun and attentive. The ice cream is good however the food reminded us of what you would have gotten at the school cafeteria. We ordered a cheeseburger and grilled chicken sandwich with regular fries, both were received room temperature at best and the burger had that weird grey color and has a faint taste of a freezer burned patty so obviously not a fresh made to order burger. The chicken sandwich wasn't any better, dry and rubbery, my wife commented that it tasted like it had been microwaved and definitely not a 'grilled' chicken sandwich. Will we be back, I don't know, for the ice cream maybe, for the food, no way, we will eat somewhere else first.

This place is always super cool to visit with fantastic ice cream, creative concoctions for sundaes and other calorie busting treats. The atmosphere is fun, casual and the staff is always upbeat and friendly. We took out of town guests from the East Coast, including a nine year old girl, who really loved the place. The nine year old was duly impressed with her sundae! I had a Matthew's Small Sundae that was all but small. I got it with butter pecan ice cream and hot fudge topping. YUM. At $11.99 it was well worth it. As usual the drippings went right into the saucer, probably for dramatic effect. Let's just say it was delicious and satisfying. Everyone thought likewise. I really need to try a sandwich here sometime as they look awesome. On Tuesday they offer a special deal that seems appealing. Leatherby's, local and family owned, is a great addition to the community, and they recently expanded. There are multiple locations around the Sacramento area.

Visit on a balmy September evening. The parking lot and the place is packed. It's total pandemonium. I get on the to-go line. And wait, and wait, and wait... A listless and some what annoyed teenager asks me what I want. I give my two scoop in a cup order. She does pack that medium size cup tight with lots of ice cream. Punches the charge into the machine and then walks away. No thanks, no smile, no appreciation. I could'a walked out without paying. This is my 1st ever Leatherby's experience. The ice cream quality is completely average to mediocre. The pistachio ice cream tasted weak , thin textured and icy. In the mouth the feel was more ice milk than cream. The flavor was a little on the artificial chemical side. I can be an ice cream snob. I'll take gelato over ice cream every time. I prefer the ooey-gooey sticky thickness of gelato. For exactly 1/2 the cost a pint of 5 ingredient Hagen-Daz purchased at Safeway will be a better value and way better ice cream experience. Bring a nice stainless steel spoon from home. If you're in a rush, eat it in your car. It'd be a more peaceful experience than be visually and sonically assaulted by the extreme noise and bright fluorescent lighting of this place. I'm amazed that the place is so popular.

The minute I walked in, Sara was beyond cordial and professional. She not only greeted me , but has a very, very sweet demeanor. She is definitely a great waitress!! Now... I ordered a burger of course and it is good BUT...the bread was way to soft and not grilled enough. All condiments fell out. But it was ok.

FOOD - Nani's Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich: crispy chicken, slaw, pickles, and hot sauce. This was really good. The burger is huge. The chicken was juicy. 5/5 - Cowboy Bacon Cheeseburger: beef patty with bacon, fried onions, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and BBQ sauce. So good! 5/5 - Matthew's Small Sundae: I chose chocolate peanut butter and mocha almond fudge. Both were yummy! 5/5 SERVICE: Our server was friendly and attentive. The only thing was I'm pretty sure we got overcharged. We didn't look at the receipt until we got home. 4.5/5 FINAL THOUGHTS: I would definitely come back. Big portions, great food! Just check your bill before you leave!

We love stopping by Leatherby's after the kids' sports practices. The have a happy hour menu available at 9pm. The happy hour specials make it easy to grab a late dinner for cheap. $.99 drinks, $9.99 chicken strips with fries, and a $7.99 fry basket that's plenty to share. The kids love it because they get ice cream, they order from the kids menu so its a cheaper option. The sundaes are huge, creamy, and perfect for sharing. The atmosphere is always welcoming and family-friendly, which makes it such a nice way to end a busy day together.

02212025 My family and I came in here prior to the dinner rush. It was a party of 10 but they were able to accommodate us promptly. The staff were all friendly! I wasnt feeling good so I only had hot water with lemon while my family ate dinner. They all liked the food and even more so the ice cream! They're comparable to Fenton's. Will hopefully be able to visit another location while having an appetite not feeling sick

Good food, Best sundaes! [Lincoln CA] They've been in this area now for 3 years and yet this was our first time at this latest Leatherby's location. We used to frequent the Citrus Heights and even the Elk Grove restaurants but that's changed now that we have one closer to our home in Roseville. It's been a minute but my addiction is their Alan's Black and Tan sundae. Love, love, love the toasted almond ice cream and the creamy vanilla... we had to ask for the nuts because that's the best part with whipped cream and cherry on top. Due to peanut allergy cases they no longer include them on the sundae but you can ask for it separately. While we were not disappointed with our first time dining experience I felt that many items on the menu were a bit on the pricey side ($12.99 for a Cheeseburger). They do have Happy Hour but if you have a regular 9-5 job you won't be able to make it here between 2:00p-4:00p or maybe you can come at 9:00p (M-F)? I like that this location is spacious! There were at least three parties celebrating birthdays tonight. Employees were kept busy keeping the place clean, wiping down tables and sweeping floors. Customer service is A+! Plenty of parking! I love love love an old timey ice cream shop. And while Leatherby's has deep roots in the Sac area, it's not my favorite ice cream or food. Don't get me wrong. It's still worth a visit but I much prefer the ice cream and food at Fenton's or other Bay Area places. That being said, the service is always super friendly and the atmosphere is always fun.

This place gets pretty busy on a weekend night. We went just for ice cream sundaes but we noticed they also offer other foods! It's self seating so you'd have to find a table and then either order at the counter or a server comes by. I will say the sundaes are so big it's more than enough to share between 4 people. They also have tons of flavors and customizations

I took my family to leatherbys to join family friends after my teens evening practice. The light night hours are great for Friday night. We went and enjoyed the late night menu. We ordered cheeseburgers and a peanut butter cup ice cream. The cheeseburgers were way tastier with less grease than any fast food and at a better price on the late night menu. We ate them up too quick to get a photo. The peanut butter cup was delicious. The server was mindful when to send it out so it wouldn't be melted by the time we were done eating. The homemade peanut butter sauce was soooooo good and perfect sharing size. Our server was amazing and attentive. The restaurant was clean and busy. It definitively gives you old ice cream parlour vibes. Highly recommend.

We live really close by to this location and when this place first opened, we said we were gonna come try it out, but it took us this long to finally make it. This location is perfect Twelve Bridges area near the High School . Walking inside it was way bigger than I thought . They have a big seating area and an out door patio . There is a counter area specifically for to go orders where u can look and pick the Ice Cream you want . They also have a big fridge with Ice Cream to go also . The service was excellent Jacob was super nice and attentive. He offered us samples to help us decide what Ice Cream we wanted. I ordered some food the chili was super delicious. My boys got tenders and fries . We finally ordered our Ice Creams and they are massive huge portions. They also have a Happy Hour and deals of the day . Overall we really enjoyed our time and the food .We will be back with an empty stomach again sometime in the future for some more Ice Cream .

Great food and ice cream!!!! We love getting their salads (House and BBQ chicken), French fries, and ice cream! We have tried many different ice cream combos but the Swiss milk chocolate with caramel sauce is our go to and favorite!! It has a fun diner feel to it and great service every time! All the staff members are friendly and have been great during our visits.

Plenty of parking. Service was great & quick! I ordered Leatherby's House Fries and I thought it was good. The homemade ranch is what made it yummy. I ate half and air fried the other half at home and drizzled the ranch. It was still good and crispy! My husband ordered the crab sandwich. I thought it was okay. I think it needs more mayo to bind the crab together. Also needed a little more seasoning. My kids shared the kids menu item (2pc chicken strips with fries). I knew they wouldn't eat much because they were excited to have ice cream. I appreciate that they split it already so I didn't have to ask for an extra basket. Very nice of them to do that. For dessert, my 2nd child wanted the one with a brownie. Perfect! My husband and I shared the Decon's Dave Brownie Bliss with him. I prefer my brownie to be warm, fudgy and slightly chewy. This one was dense. The ice cream and caramel sauce was my favorite part! The kids menu came with a scoop of ice cream and my eldest chose cookies n cream. He ate it all and slurped it up. Lol. My kids & nieces enjoyed the claw machines at the front. It was a nice touch. They all won a little toy.

The Turkey avocado BLT was amazing the only thing that was better was the courteous and attentiveness of the waiter Matthew. Never once had to request a refill! Keep hiring peeps like this and you'll always retain your loyal customers. Lincoln Proud

We came here for the first time and we were kind of disappointed. The manager did confirm that they have confusing system. We were upset that we didn't get a chance to enjoy the Sunday how it should be done. What are you doing? We got our food and the foam cups. It was very disappointing as we were trying to experience with ambience of the food. The french fries were all soggy. I went to the manager and she pretended she didn't care. In terms of ice cream it was delicious, but I will always remember the foam cups.

Our server Dani was awesome.. we were seated immediately and Dani came over soon after to ask what we would like to drink.. then gave us time to talk, look over the menus and not feel rushed.. we decided on chicken sammys, mine the Grandpa Al's and my friend's the classic grilled chicken, both were delicious.. While we were tempted to get a banana split or hot fudge we just didn't have any room.. maybe next time.. I do want to add that after reading several comments about the ice cream treats being on the small size last night , today every one that was served around us was Huge! So maybe the feedback made the mgr. look into what was being offered and looks like the 18.49 is well worth it again..

My go-to spot in the Lincoln Area for everything ICE CREAM and FRIES are amazing. It's worth noting that as of today 5/27/24 there is a Tuesday: 2 entree, 2 Rachel's Sundae, 2 drink meal for $34.99. There is also a deal of the day (11A-3P) and happy hour deals (2-4P and 9p-closing) at various times of the day. On Fridays and Saturdays, this restaurant is open till midnight, which is perfect for those late night ice cream cravings. Service has always been excellent and attentive, and there always seems to be someone celebrating a birthday or anniversary here, which gets you a loud applause from the crowd, the obligatory bday song, and complimentary ice cream. 5 well-deserved stars go to this eatery.

Typical Leatherbys look and feel, has the old school ice cream parlor vibe jumping off, and is super family friendly. Separate doors for door dash pickup, take out, and dine in on your way in. Today opted for the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, and while initially a bit bummed that I didn't have any heat, it surprised me about halfway through and gave me that desired spiciness. Overall, it's a solid chicken sandwich that tastes good start to finish. Potato salad is always good and wasn't disappointed. The wife had the grilled cheese, and the cheese pull was surprising. Loaded with cheddar! It was on point. Had the small sundae for dessert, which, tbh I was so full I should have passed on, but go to an ice cream parlor, you've gotta do it. My only disappointment was that they ran out of a limited time offering ice cream that I had my heart set on. Our waiter Jacob was very apologetic, and I understand not his fault. It's got to be good enough for them to run out. Staff is great, food is good and can't go wrong with leatherbys ice cream.

Service was decent, ordered a large milkshake for $12. It was pretty bad. It was like drinking ice cream flavored milk. Only put 3 small scoops of ice cream and a gallon of milk. The flavor was nothing to write home to mom about either. Chick-fil-A makes a better quality shake for almost half the price. Inside was dirty

The location is spacious. And it may be that I'm not used to "homemade ice cream" but the flavors are just average to me. I didn't try the food as it wasn't so appealing. A bit old fashioned for my tastes.

We had gone to see a play at WJU and wanted to go for a snack. We decided on ice cream and found the Leatherby's close by. It was clean and new and the ice cream was so good. Better than Fenton's!

We're glad there's a Leatherby's in the Roseville area. Being customers of the Citrus Heights and Arden Way shops, it was a delight knowing that a nearby location opened up, cutting our drive time significantly. Still ordering our favorites, the banana splits, crab sandwich, and garlic fries. It's always a nice venue for indulgent eats. Being a newer branch and currently building an extension, we're definitely be here for ice cream treats and sandwiches.

Only had the ice ream today, but they have a full restaurant. Ice cream is VERY good, creamy. Expensive like most ice cream shops, but a very good value due to the quality and quantity. A single is a lot of ice cream, filled my waffle cone to the bottom and overflowing on top. A double is HUGE as the picture I took shows. Place was packed on a winter Sunday afternoon, a good sign.

Been here many times. Today came for just ice cream after dinner. More than once we have been offered the children's size banana split. Tonight we were informed by our server you have to have a child under 10 or be over 60 but he could get his manager. She came over and said you have to have a child or be over 65. We told her we have been offered this by servers multiple times to which she said they are not supposed to do that. We just wanted a smaller size ice cream has nothing to do with cost. I feel this is age discrimination. Rather than serve us they refused so we left and went to Baskin Robbins. We will not be going back.

We just left there and got terrible service. My daughter ordered grilled cheese and they cook the cheese on the outside of the bread and it tasted burnt. I told the waitress and she literally shrugged and said sorry that we didn't like it. Never brought us sugar for our ice tea. Never brought us the straws that we asked for. Never brought us out to go containers. I got everything myself from the hostess that seats people. The waitresses name was Natalie.

I love this place it's no nostalgic! My favorite ice cream is the black & tan. The almond ice cream is amazing and the flavors together are magical. Pair it with some fries! smiles all around. The servers are wonderful as well!

Came here for dinner on Memorial Day and it was pretty packed! Multiple birthdays happening and the party hostess I must say was pretty lively! I ordered the crab sandwich which was new on the menu, my husband order a cheeseburger with chili cheese fries and my son cheeseburger and fries as well. There wasn't anything special about the crab sandwich, a little salty for my taste. We also ordered the strawberry shortcake sundae and again it would've been better esthetic wise to have fresh strawberries instead of thawed frozen strawberries. It want very appetizing as you can see from the pictures

The food her is just so, so good. Their garlic fries and ranch are perfection. The decor is cute and just what you want for an ice cream parlor. Just be ready for the service to be sloooow....but it's worth it! And while the service is slow, everyone was very nice. Again, it's worth it!

We always make a point to come here for the Cali Club and Rachels sundae Ice Cream--they're our favorites! And a big shoutout to Austin P, who's an outstanding server--always courteous, friendly, and makes our visit even better.

We're so lucky to have our very own Leatherby's! I finally tried it after hearing from friends and family about how great they are. We came here after the lunch rush. They were still busy but were seated immediately. Our server, was awesome, sorry, didn't catch his name. I got the half turkey and cheese sandwich with a side of homemade chilli. Hubs and daughter shared the club with fries. My hubby added a sundae to his meal for $7 more and daughter ordered the Jennifer's Brownie delight sundae. I'm not an ice cream fan but after trying a couple of bites, I'm a fan! It's all made in house, maybe that's why it tastes so darn good?!?! It's refreshing to have a place in town that serves good food along with great dessert. Leatherby's is winner for sure!

Ok ok ok. This was an accidental find in Lincoln. I was like wow let's go for some ice cream. Since it was lunch, we also had real food. Both of us got the Cali club, hubby got potato salad and I got chili cheese fries. Let me say, the food is huge so definitely share a meal unless you are a eating contest champion. Got to have room for your sundae! Our server Hannah said she made the chili in the mornings. Well, Hannah it was excellent! She was so attentive asking us if we needed anything but still leaving us alone as well so we could just enjoy our time. It is kinda loud in this place but what do you expect for an old fashioned ice cream shop. Plus it was Sunday afternoon.

It was a night for ice cream!! E we decided to give the new Leatherby's a try located in Lincoln. The biggest store of all of them! Bright, and cherry atmosphere. Practically every table was taken. Service was fast and courteous. We ordered and shared Aaron's sundae, covered in both caramel and chocolate fudge sauce. Although the almonds didn't arrive, they were quickly brought to our table. The sundae hit the spot and was perfect. The restroom could be neater as there was toilet paper all over the floor. The tile choice in the ladies room was classic black and white tile reminiscent of the Flower Power era, fun!!! Staff is friendly and happy to be working at Leatherby's. Definitely recommend Leatherby's!

So nice to have this new location in the neighborhood. Ample parking available. A bright and whimsical ice cream parlor interior. We have yet to try their sandwich shop selection but their homemade ice cream is creamy yet light and yummy! The sauces (chocolate and caramel) are so good and available for purchase so you can enjoy your own creation at home. There's a separate take-out area available if you just want a quick treat or so. Though I must say, we had a better experience service-wise dining in than take-out.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon and got seated immediately. The servers were pretty attentive and friendly. This location is really spacious and clean as well. Lots of family and kids dining in. We got the Dave's Brownie Bliss which had warmed brownie topped with two flavors of our choice - Vanilla and Cookie Monster. It had chocolate and caramel sauce topped with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry.

My family and I have been coming to leatherbys for years back when I they had it behind the old mervyns in Citrus Heights so for awhile this location is not even a 10 minute drive away from my place plus whenever my sister and brother in law come in to town they like to my niece and nephew there for lunch and of course the dessert is absolutely delicious the staff that works at this location are super friendly and very knowledgeable tonight we had a craving for leatherbys we where seated right away and had are order taken right away we didn't even have to wait 10 minutes and for a Friday night that was pretty good I got my usual turkey and cheddar with meat warm and bread toasted with French fries it was really good are served was very friendly and we where very happy with services we received tonight they don't just have ice cream they have a wide selection of different foods to choose from great establishment for parties or large get togethers I highly recommend leatherbys great establishment great food great experience thank you leatherbys in Lincoln you guys are awesome I appreciate you have a great weekend and I will see you again soon thanks again soon
