The Best Montreal Cafés for Working or Studying | Eater Montreal

"Priding itself on filling its two downtown addresses with plant life, that focus on greenery extends to its menus and operations, as Leaves House aggregates plant-based products and services mainly from Montreal start-ups to stock its shelves, fill its cups and top its plates. If you reckon you’ll be hungry during a work session here, opt for the pastries that are also vegan." - JP Karwacki

The Best Bubble Tea in Montreal | Eater Montreal

"Leaves House is a good option for those on a plant-based or dairy-free diet — or for when you’re with that one friend who never wants bubble tea when you do. They’ve got nine bubble tea options, including matcha latte, café boba latte, and crème brûlée, plus an extensive coffee and tea menu and a selection of baked goods at the counter." - Kelly Albert

Where to Eat and Drink Cheaply Around McGill University | Eater Montreal

"A bright, leafy addition to the downtown area is the second location of coffee shop Leaves House, found on the ground floor of an office tower on McGill College Avenue. With excellent coffee (try the cold brew), healthy pastries, and great wifi, it’s a great bet for a couple of hours of study in a part of town that used to be chain coffee or bust." - Daniel Bromberg

Leaves House (McGill) is an amazing spot for vegan breakfast! The croissant and blueberry danish are absolutely delicious, and they go perfectly with their smooth, flavorful coffee. The place has a cozy vibe, friendly service, and it’s definitely worth a visit whether you’re vegan or just love good food.

10/10 matchs. Legit the best I’ve had. I can’t believe I wasn’t having regular milk? It tastes so good you can’t even tell (it’s even better). Great location, tons of nice stuff to buy (you can buy their matcha powder and syrups) and surprisingly great service. My new favourite Montreal cafe.

Such a wonderful experience! We stopped by to buy two bags of matcha for friends, and the barista kindly offered to make us two complimentary matcha drinks. We had them iced with macadamia milk and they were absolutely delicious – smooth, perfectly balanced, and refreshing. The matcha itself was excellent quality (even my husband, who usually isn’t a big matcha fan, really enjoyed it!). Friendly service, thoughtful touches, and amazing drinks – can’t recommend this spot enough! 🍵

Lovely café with a variety of baked goods. I tried their matcha and pâtés—both were amazing. Cafés like this create the perfect vibe, whether you’re stopping by to enjoy a cup of coffee or looking for a spot to work remotely/study.

Very lovely cafe to work/study. The WiFi connection is fine. The staff is very kind. I wish they had non-vegan milk options, too. They have greay pistachio milk latte and oat milk latte. I also tried chocolate chip banana bread and Melange De Brais (probably misspelled :D). All were really good...

Super cute cafe and very student friendly! They have a lot of unique drinks, and the staff were all very nice (and bilingual). Lots of options for alternative milks and interesting flavoured syrups. I heavily suggest the Hōjicha Latte! (Didn’t get to try any food, oops) A lot of students come here to work, so if you intend to grab a seat— get here early!

Such a cute little place! Love the fact that everything is vegan, and delicious. Lots of options for baked treats and even poke bowls. I ordered five items, and my favorite was the blueberry Danish. Nice music playing in the background, plenty of space to sit and do some work (many students around), quick service, convenient location. Extra thanks to my barista, Daniella, who was so friendly and accommodating to my excitement as I was ordering :-)
