"Lebanon Grill might just have the quickest service in New Orleans—we ordered, looked up, and our food was there. No matter what you go for, you get assorted pickled peppers, olives, and other vegetables with every plate, and it’s fun to mix those flavors into your meal. We recommend the plate with freshly shaved gyro, salad drizzled with sumac vinaigrette, hummus, and freshly baked pita, along with some Lebanese tea with pine nuts. You’ll see a little bit of everybody here—Downtown employees, tourists, big groups, and solo diners—so it’s naturally a great people-watching spot. Especially because it opens up onto the French Market." - Megan Braden-Perry

Google
First time at Lebanon Grill on Decatur for all of us. Fabulous quality food and wonderful staff. Our only complaint was it was a cold night outside and very cold inside too. But I think we all loved it in spite of the climate control issues. Beautiful place, beautiful food, beautiful people.

Google
Absolutely incredible! Every dish we tried at Lebanon Grill was bursting with flavor and left us thoroughly impressed. We truly enjoyed every bite. This is a must-visit and definitely won’t disappoint. It’s worth it in every way. Congratulations to their outstanding chef for delivering such a memorable dinning experience!

Google
Totally fell in love with this place! We were a group of seven and we all love mediterranean food and have tried many places. But this place is definitely top notch. Great service, cool vibes with middle eastern decor, fresh ingredients, and you can tell chefs have prepared each dish with care ! We loved the food so much that we couldn’t resist and had dinner here on two consecutive days.

GO HERE AND EAT NOW!!! If I could give this place 20 stars I would. Hands down the best food I have ever had at a restaurant, no joke I almost cried. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly and full of flavor and the pizzas here are amazing with fresh ingredients! Life changing!

Google
I discovered this Lebanese restaurant while visiting New Orleans, and it was an absolute gem! The food quality was outstanding, with each dish bursting with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. The taste was impeccable—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. On top of that, the service was exceptional; the staff was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you're in New Orleans and looking for a memorable dining experience, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Wow! A hidden gem off the beaten path. There’s only so much creole cuisine you can eat in a day right? This was a great change of flavor. Open air kitchen allows the smells to pull you in from the outside. The food was made fresh and very tasty. 😋 So glad I stopped in.

Google
Food was delicious. We were able to be seated right away and the server attended us promptly. Food was hot and on time. I had the Shrimp meal, I forgot what my companion had but both were delicious. My shrimps were cooked to perfection. Juicy and plump and well seasoned along with the veggies and rice.

Google
The food was incredible. The waitress was so nice and helping us as much as she could. The atmosphere is amazing there is music and beautiful sculptures. This was the second time we went in less than a week. Overall, it was amazing and definitely 5 star worthy

Rauf A.

Yelp
Best in town! Our second visit today after checking similar places around (found nothing of the kind). Recommend! Beef shawarma is the best. Open kitchen, by the way.

Yelp
If you need a change from Cajan and Creole food and you love Mediterranean food then this is the place for you. This is a nice sit down restaurant right off the French Market. The only negative is due to the door was open I found it a little too chilly on the cold December night. Service was ok. I didn't feel like they came to check on us enough as they were really busy. I wanted some more sauce but wasn't able to get any. The chicken shawarma was ok. It came with some good fries. Not enough flavor and the sauce I was given was bland. I would have liked some of the sauce that went on the plate. My husband got the Beef Shawarma plate. It was a lot of food. He couldn't finish it. The food was only ok, so I probably wouldn't go back, but it's a good change of pace from most restaurants so you may like the change.

Yelp
I've eaten here twice. Once alone and once with a dining partner. Both times the food was absolutely phenomenal.

Yadhira L.

Yelp
When you go to New Orleans, you don't really think about Middle Eastern food, but this restaurant was so delicious that we went back twice. We really enjoyed their garlic sauce, hummus, Taziki sauce. It's all very very good. The salad was exceptional. How many times have you ever complimented a salad? It's right across from the market, making it very convenient to shop and then find a place to sit and relax in a beautiful ambience. The wait staff was very friendly. We talked about their food culture, and something we already knew and some things we discovered. When I went back the second time it was for takeout and they remembered me, and they treated me very well and served us giant plates of food. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
For starters, this place is BEAUTIFUL. The dining room looks like an Egyptian temple. Had no idea is was so stunning, though I've walked past it many times. The food, based on what I tried, is delicious. I had a falafel sandwich to go. (Ate it in Santos, hence why it's bright red.) It was delicious, though I'm not sure I'd call it a sandwich since it was wrapped in a grilled tortilla. Crisp falafel, thick fresh slabs of tomato, vinaigrette, and creamy tahini. But yeah, I'd call it a wrap. The chef handed it to me personally and told me he hoped I'd like it. Well, sir, I did.

Amanda S.

Yelp
Service spot on! So genuine and sincere. Food was incredible and the restaurant was very comfortable and in great location.

Michelle C.

Yelp
Wonderful ambiance, big portions, food came out quickly and was nicely presented. I would definitely eat here again.

Veronica R.

Yelp
Incredible food and service! I kept saying to my mom that every person walking around the French Quarter needed to be there to experience this place. The Chicken Salad and Zaatar Pizza were perfect. The crust was some of the most delicious I've had. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting NOLA!

Shavonne H.

Yelp
Great family-owned and operated restaurant in NOLA! Some friends and I visited NOLA in August for a friend's birthday...I know what you're thinking...why would you go there in August?! Anyway, a few people in the group went here one day and came back to our Air BnB raving about this place. So much so that we all decided to go there to eat the following day. Our Uber dropped us off in the back of the restaurant and we were instructed to seat ourselves. The staff remembered my friends from the day before and we were quickly greeted and our drink orders were taken. There were only a couple of other patrons in the restaurant. It's fairly small, but that's what makes it special. It's not unlike many of the other restaurants throughout the streets of New Orleans. I was unfortunately recovering from food poisoning so I did order a cocktail and decided to stick with a salad. I ordered the chicken salad and my friends ordered a variety of other dishes, included the Beef Shwarma pizza. Everything was so good! Since I was still recovering I wasn't able to eat much, but what I did eat was flavorful and delicious! We didn't order cocktails or hookah, but their menu looks great. I highly recommend trying this place for authentic Lebanese food from a friendly family with great customer service!

Orangel M.

Yelp
Food and service were great and great prices. Definitely will come back! I had the shank and my wife the chicken plate with rice.

Tim C.

Yelp
Our son has been an amazing foodie tour guide and this is his first but not last trip to New Orleans, his phone and great reviews has lead us to some great food, especially Lebanon Grill, yum! This was a tasty change from N.O. cuisine. My wife and I shared the chicken tikka plate, came with a house salad and rice. My son and I enjoyed some Turkish coffee and got free refills. Our son and daughter-in-law got the chicken shawarma plate with house salad and rice, she got a virgin mimosa and they shared some pita and hummus with us. As usual everybody tried everything and loved it. We shared some outstanding fried falafels, 5 to an order. The grandbaby got whatever she wanted.

Ash H.

Yelp
It definitely lived up to the 5 star ratings. The food was delicious, the presentation was beautiful, large portions, and a great atmosphere. I had the beef shawarma wrap with fries, my husband had the Kafta plate, and my son demolished the lamb chops.

Charchey K.

Yelp
Excellent lamb and hummus! Decently priced and authentic. Great place to get a quick Mediterranean/Middle Eastern fix.

Jon B.

Yelp
Strange to find this very seriously-authentic and delicious food from the Levant here out of all places. It's the perfect eating when you eventually just get over the heaviness of the local fare-but you still want to eat super tasty notes. What an unusual special gem of a New Orleans experience.

Tiffany F.

Yelp
The falafel sandwich is good, and I like that they gave us a falafel lagniappe. It's a cute place. At first, I was annoyed at how expensive it is, but it is in the Quarter, and I saw them give a gyro to Erica (one of our unhoused neighbors), so if that's how they're using the money, I'm okay with it.

Locus C.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Best in town. Everything we ordered was cooked/prepared to perfection Highly recommend trying this place at least once while in town.

Forum P.

Yelp
The restaurant is pretty and clean. The waiter was nice and interactive with my friends too. I ordered the chicken shawarma pizza which was so yummy.

Lulu A.

Yelp
Delicious and great portions. The host and staff are also great. Clean/open kitchen concept which I admire. It was an authentic experience.

Baktash A.

Yelp
Fresh food and great service! Food is authentic and delicious, would highly recommend!

Anoop S.

Yelp
Solid. Beef shawarma was nice. Kibbeh were okay. Nice interior and incredibly friendly owner / service.

LaToya T.

Yelp
The Gyro/Chicken shawarma plate was absolutely amazing! Great tasting food. The chefs really put love into their presentation of the food. This was my first time drinking Lebanese Iced tea, yummy! And may I add, the healthiest food that we have eaten this weekend , 5 stars!

Crystal S.

Yelp
Food was very good. Service is a bit slow. There is one lady seating you, taking your order, bringing your food out and accepting payment. Everyone else is in the kitchen. So if you are in a hurry, I would not come here. But, if you'd like a nice leisurely fresh tasting meal, then do come here.

Savy S.

Yelp
The food was amazing! We got the salmon and the falafel wrap 10/10! And the baba ganouj with the soft fluffy pancake style pita was the best in the world. Our serve was a total sweetheart. She hooked us up with the Lebanese drink called ARÏC (tastes like licorice and super strong). We also were blessed to try to delicious baklava. Highly recommend for delicious, fresh food.

Oky A.

Yelp
Without a doubt the most amazing Mediterranean restaurant I've been. I had an explosion of flavors in my mouth just by taking a first bite! Highly recommended!!

Precious B.

Yelp
Food service ambiance 100/10 absolutely amazing. If this place was back home I would order this at minimum once a week. Alie was our server and he was amazing helpful with the menu and choices. Would recommend this to anyone. My husband is a burger and fries guy and he even said this place was the best place we ate at since we've been here.

Zach B.

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch and were seriously impressed. I had a vegetarian plate, and can vouch for how fresh and tasty the hummus, baba ghanoush, and falafel all were. It was an A+. Friendly service, too. I will most certainly be coming back!

K W.

Yelp
The falafel was perfectly fried and tasty. The shwarma sandwich was perfectly seasoned. The beef was tender and warm with the cool vegetables, it had a nice balance of crunch and softness. The wrap was lightly grilled. I really enjoyed this restaurant. It was nice to sit down and escape some of the busyness of the French market.

Tom K.

Yelp
I've been going here a lot lately. Everything I've had has been amazing. Myself and my friends are never disappointed. This evening I had the most amazing feta Greek salad. It was huge!! And only $14! I added gyro meat for only an extra $8. I'll easily get 3 meals total out of this. My friend ordered the same salad with extra feta which they piled on for only 1.80 more! I've had their gyros which they make like a burrito which actually makes them easier to eat. Their hummus is wonderful! Their gyro shawarma pizza is wonderful. I suggest asking for tsatziki sauce on the side to drizzle to make it taste like a gyro. I've never been disappointed with anything I've had here. It's a large space. Very clean. The family owned staff are always friendly and inviting. I only wish I could post a photo of the amazing salad I had tonight.

Nycole R.

Yelp
This was a delightful surprise after walking through the French Quarter in search of food. It was very different than the cuisine we had become accustomed to throughout our visit to New Orleans, and although unanticipated, it was a welcome detour off the beaten path of food. I ordered a chicken skewer sandwich, fries and a salad. I had a hefty appetite, but it was still no match for the amount of food delivered to the table. Everything was incredibly flavorful, I just couldn't eat it all. I felt badly not eating more-I hate to waste food.

Carson F.

Yelp
We stopped in to escape the heat and have some drinks. We didn't know it was a restaurant, but ordered some stuff to try. The waiter was really good and brought her drinks quickly. Explain the menu well to us, people who have never had Lebanese food before. The restaurant is clean and the hummus was amazing. I'm only used to hummus from a grocery store and the flavor on the hummus here is so rich and the texture is smooth. The falafel was great and had a crunchy outside and a smooth inside. The tahini sauce was delicious as well. Really recommend this restaurant.

Jon N.

Yelp
This place is a must go to. We went for our first time today and honestly. It was the most amazing experience. The chef works right in front of you And I was drooling a little just watching him. The service and the ambiance just added to the experience. The shish kabob plate was amazingly favorable. The gyro sandwich made my taste buds dance with every bite. They are very generous with the portions.

David M.

Yelp
Fresh break or change from French Quarter food. Excellent tabouli with generous amount of fresh parsley. hummus and gyro sandwich hit the spot. Restaurant was very clean and well decorated.

Karina C.

Yelp
I often find it irksome to get food in the quarter, the food can be lackluster or overpriced. So venturing out of my norm, I was a bit anxious to try Lebanon Grill but wow was I pleased. The ambiance was lovely, though the music wouldn't have been my first choice I did find myself bopping to it by the end of the meal. The server and staff were friendly and extremely hospitable. We had a little bit of a language barrier but we worked our way through with ease. The food came and I was very pleased. The Gyro plate was a substantial amount of food for the price (especially for being in the quarter). The meat was tender and juicy, the rice was well seasoned, and the salad refreshing. I regret not trying the baklava. I will absolutely return to Lebanon Grill next time I venture to the quarter or the marigny. I'd post a photo but I ate it too fast for pics.

Courtney M.

Yelp
Easily the best meal we've had in NOLA. If not best meal of our lifetime. Making this review at the table, it's that good. Service was great, foods great, atmospheres great. Both my husband and I were licking our plates

mary m.

Yelp
I haven't had this good of Mediterranean food since I lived in New York City. Vegetarian plate is excellent. Nice ambiance too. My husband loved his hamburger. (he's not real adventurous.)

Peg S.

Yelp
The food here is AMAZING!!! 10 stars. The best Lebanese food I have ever had!! I ordered the kufta kebab plate that came with a delicious salad, spicy pickled vegetables and delicious rice. Next time I'm in NOLA, Will define return!!!!

Nicole C.

Yelp
This is a great restaurant! I eat here every time I visit. Excellent, flavorful food. Great atmosphere. I highly recommend the shawarma plate. Yummmmm

Shawn G.

Yelp
I went here with my wife and sister-in-law who are Lebanese and they both felt it was some of the most authentic and delicious Lebanese food they've had in the states. Very nice staff and very clean restaurant. Will definitely return when next time I'm in Nola.

Gregg D.

Yelp
WOW!!! A family owned and run business and boy can they cook!! I had a dish I hadn't heard of and it was stunning!! Everyone in our group loved this place...it is the best part of the French Quarter!!

William J.

Yelp
Beyond happy .. great Lebanese food in the quarter. The service is amazing.. will definitely come back many times

PBR M.

Yelp
This place was fantastic!! There are not many restaurants that have vegetarian food with decent options and Lebanon grill has a ton. Authentic food, amazing service. Way to go!!

Evan D.

Yelp
We randomly ran in here while looking for a place to eat during a torrential downpour. The food was absolutely fantastic. The people were extremely friendly too. My husband and I shared the Chicken Schwarma Plate and I'm glad we did, as it was plenty of food! Super good. Would absolutely come back. Wonderful little restaurant too; very charming.

Joel O.

Yelp
Kamil provides 5 Star service every time we come here. It's not on the menu, but I highly recommend their "Everything Board". 3 of us ate and still had plenty leftover. All of the sauces are house made. The meats are perfectly cooked and seasoned. This place is great if you want a break from the dime-a dozen French Quarter Cajun restaurants.

Brian H.

Yelp
Mediterranean spots always come through with the best grilled lamb chops & hummus spreads! Lebanon Grill knocked it out the park. These chops were paired with their saffron rice and house salad!

Eva A.

Yelp
Great food, mediocre service even though we were the only ones in there. Seems to be empty often but don't let that discourage you from going!

Samuel R.

Yelp
Very good quality food. Large portions. Beautiful and unique atmosphere. Glad some quality Mediterranean food is available in the Vieux Carré.

Quandra T.

Yelp
I was surprised to find a place like this in the midst of the French Quarter, and while I was gung-ho to try all the local NOLA cuisine, my traveling companion was a vegetarian, and looking for something besides veggie pasta and salad, so I obliged. This place was quality! Shaddad was an awesome and friendly waiter who made great conversation with us. I wasn't looking for a hearty meal here, so I got the hummus with lamb and the presentation of the dish set in front of me was 100%. I felt like I was doing my body justice on this vacay, ingesting hummus with olive oil and little herb things I couldn't identify, but ate nonetheless. Not even a real meal and I still couldn't finish it because the portion was plentiful and accompanied by warm, fresh pita bread. Will be flying back home with the leftovers lol.

Heather F.

Yelp
What a lovely spot this was! Inviting and friendly staff and the food was delicious! I tried the baba ganoush and falafels and they did not disappoint. Nothing against traditional creole food of New Orleans but sometimes you just want something different that's also traditional...and Lebanon Grill will give you just that.

Michael L.

Yelp
The food was amazing staff was very friendly made me feel like family. I can't wait to come back and eat more... ambiance was authentic Arabic def felt like I was back in Dubai
