"It's fitting that beloved high-end Parisian boutique L'Eclaireur would choose a sprawling chateau to house its first U.S. outpost. Spread out over three floors (the "residence" is meant to double as a special-events space as well), expect to find an exquisitely curated offering of home decor, furnishings, and objets d'art from both American and European designers, and of course, lots of Fornasetti special editions you wouldn't find at the department stores. And while the Paris locations are focused for the most part on wearables from avant-garde staples like Dries van Noten, Maison Martin Margiela, and the like, here, the Los Angeles shop is devoted almost exclusively to things for the home, with a few exceptions being made for special-edition fashion pieces. Leclaireur design gallery is a special place in Los Angeles that we recommend to our clientele that are searching for the perfect piece of art or furniture for their home or professional space. They have an expansive offering of Fornasetti that my wife and I have enjoyed collecting over the years. If you appreciate the "best" with regard to art and design, make an appointment with the intension to acquire heirloom treasures. You won't regret it.

Yelp
I'm a huge huge fan of the L'Eclaireur boutiques in Paris. It really is next-level fashion in an incredibly creative setting. I remember walking into the boutique in the 1st, and being utterly blown away by the art and fashion that surrounded me. I walked to the back, ordered a coffee, and marveled at the small arrangement of rock sugar (clear, lavender and raw) that accompanied it. The West Hollywood store focuses on furniture and interior design, and it does not disappoint. The space is great as well -- all three levels of it -- and who knew it, but you can rent it out for for events! Amazing. My tour guide was a lovely French-Italian woman named Magdalena, and she was charming, courteous and knowledgeable. They do sell some fashion, mostly jaw-dropping Carol Christian Poell, and books as well. Although it is likely out of your price range, go check out L'Eclarieur and take in some of that art for art's sake wild creative energy.

Yelp
In my experience as an artist/designer shown in the store this company has not been honest and fair in their dealing with me... basically I have been cheated by the owners.
