L'écluse Dinard (ex Le Café Rouge)

Bright and relaxing atmosphere, well made fresh seafood. Beautiful flavour that we already enjoyed to smell before our plate were served.

Service was very good, menu plentiful including children’s options. The quality of the food was excellent and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Would visit again if in Dinard.

We arrived short before 2pm when the kitchen is supposed to close, they checked the status and welcomed us with open arms! Super friendly, great service, totally child friendly and delicious food! Definitely a keeper!

Very disappointing food. The manager was unwelcoming and frosty. I should have turned around and gone away at that point. I ordered Moules and frites, which you would think would be impossible to mess up. This place managed it. The Moules were not terribly appetising and the frites were undercooked on the inside yet overcooked on the outside. But they were also soggy and devoid of taste. So we won't be bothering the manager again with our custom.

The food was good but the Bearnnaise sauce on my steak was average. Staff were polite but the greeting barman struggled to smile or engage with customers. I think the atmosphere was lacking due to a lack of diners.

Now called l'Écluse, the cuisine and service in this restaurant is excellent. The food is fresh, local and delicious. Prices very reasonable for the quality. Also excellent choice for the kids.

Apparently ( per the sign outside in French, third place is under new management. The space is hip and contemporary and filled with lunch time diners. The menu looked very interesting but we were just looking for a quick break from walking. We were welcomed with open area ( there is also a move outside terrace looking at the sea but it was too cold the day we were there. We just had coffees and a sweet but it is definitely a place I'd return to for a meal. The light and airy rooms with well separated tables was very inviting,

Table in the sunshine in a touristy area near the beach. Expecting the worst and took great joy in a tasty meal of moules et frites and a cold bottle of sancerre. Service was excellent -- smiling and attentive from our young server, yet never intrusive. A lovely, non-touristy evening in a touristy town.

Un des meilleurs repas qu'on a eu depuis que nous sommes en France! A delicious meal from start to finish. And great service too.
