"Tucked next to a scuba shop in Fort Mill just five minutes from Pineville is where you’ll find Szechuan cuisine, traditional favorites, and even sushi (it’s fresh) every night except Wednesday. The brightly-lit dining room is pleasant enough to eat in but not so comfortable to linger past the fortune cookies. Must-try dishes include a Szechuan spicy fish filet with bite-sized fried fish chunks garnished with red chili peppers and oil. Also on the menu are diverse greens like snow pea tips and Taiwan or Shanghai bok choy, all lightly salted and sauteed with garlic. The beef chow fun is everything people love about chow fun — hot, chewy, and sticky— or go off-piste for mala beef tendons or pork intestines." - Shindy Chen

I ordered the house Lo mein for pick up. I expected it to have several types meat but it only had chicken,3 shrimp and barely any veggies. It was bland, pale and for $16 definitely not worth it.

So far, the most authentic Chinese restaurant we’ve had in the Fort Mill area. We ordered: Beef chow fun Mongolian beef Pork fried rice Stir fried pea shoots Eggrolls Everything came out blazing hot and freshly cooked. Everything was very good. We look forward to trying more of the menu.

I’m a little late leaving this review. Christmas Eve night I made a stop here. The lady behind the counter took my order and when doing so she was very rude. I only ordered one small shrimp lo main and she stated it would be 30mins. With that said, I waited almost 2hours before receiving my order. Before receiving my order, each time I asked where’s my order or expressed my concerns, she would just say ITS NOT READY YET! I saw other people walk in of their kind getting seated and skipping ahead of others waiting in line to order or pick up their food! The owner Lee would laugh in my face as if it was funny when I expressed my concerns and again he would say what the lady said, ITS NOT READY YET! They even acted as if they didn’t want to give me my money back. I was standing at the counter me & another lady when one of the workers rudely bumped me and stood in front of me as if I wasn’t there just so she could check off something on paper…I have never experienced anything like that at any restaurant or Chinese restaurant! I felt they showed harsh Racism and I would never give them my business ever again and I recommend anyone reading this, to be mindful if you decide to eat here! All people aren’t good people!

This food was some of the most DISGUSTING food I have ever tasted. It was bland and soggy. Lee Cafe you all need to do better. I wasted my time and money. AVOID EATING THIS FOOD.

We had a party of 5. Everyone got a different Dinner combo. Everyone enjoyed their food. The Crab Rangoon was very good, and so was the Wonton Soup. Friend who ordered it said the Broth was amazing. Tso’s Chicken was good! I expected a little bit more heat, but my tolerance is higher than most people. The sauce for all the meals was delicious. No one had any complaints about their entrees. Only complaint was the Rice was a touch dry. Not like bullets, but maybe slightly over cooked. Didn’t notice till I had the rice without the sauce. Everyone agreed their rice was a wee-bit dry. We also got 3 of their tea’s. Peach, Mango, and Passionfruit. All three were delicious. Would eat here again if I was a local!

A Chinese colleague recommended Lee Cafe to us and we were not disappointed. It was some of the best Chinese food we've ever had - whether in NYC or elsewhere!!! Truly wonderful Chinese food and the service was friendly and efficient. Will absolutely visit again when we're near Charlotte.
