We came here to disc golf and greatly enjoyed the experience. For part of the course you take the lift to the top and play your way back down. It was a totally unique experience from a disc golf perspective. The views are great and it being much cooler was awesome as we were here in the height of summer. It was also cool to have the bar, coffee shop, snack area, and other places to hang out. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful as well.

Mountain Bike Park is great! Green trail is flowing, but might get a little fast at the top, with some tight corners. Berms are solid. Blue is fast, and lose over hard pack, but that almost all trails in Vegas. It flows and it's not that technical. Black is definitely technical, but once you dropped 3+ times, you start to enjoy it. Conector between Blue and Dark and only for experts. They require real jumps and drops.

If you’re looking for a quick getaway from the Las Vegas heat, Lee Canyon is the perfect spot! Just about an hour’s drive from the Strip, this hidden gem offers year-round outdoor activities with stunning mountain views. In the winter, it’s a great place for skiing and snowboarding without the long drive to bigger resorts. The slopes are well-maintained, and while it’s not the biggest ski area, it’s perfect for a fun day on the mountain. They also have tubing and a cozy lodge where you can grab a warm drink and enjoy the scenery. In the summer, Lee Canyon transforms into a peaceful retreat with hiking trails, mountain biking, and scenic picnicking spots. The fresh air and cooler temperatures make it a great escape from the desert heat.

It is at the end of the season. So there was a lot of melting snow going on but, one was still able to enjoy it. Skiers and snow boards were still there. The lady at the coffee brew house is super sweet. The whole experience was pretty good until the end. A member of my group had some of the immature ignorant workers from the return rental equipment spot steal from them. The manager thankfully handled it. I just dont think he clearly came across as serious considering they were laughing about it at the end of the day. That's just me though.

Can you ski or snowboard near Las Vegas? Yes, you can! The Lee Canyon Ski Resort is around 50 miles from the Strip. My son and I planned a snowboarding outing while we were vacationing in Vegas. The lift tickets were expensive as we went on a weekend right after New Years Day. There was a big crowd but the resort was big enough where it didn't seem overcrowded. The check-in and equipment rental process took longer than we anticipated but we got our gear and were ready to hit the slopes. It was our first time so we got a quick lesson on the basics and went over to the bunny slopes. The lift was cool and the slopes was adequate for beginners. We didn't go up any further than that bit there was a restaurant up the mountain. We had a great experience snowboarding and we will definitely try it again either here or another resort in the future.

Being Honest

Google
Basically it’s ridiculous. So many things to name on it. First of all, rental facilities open at 8am, it was crowded day per my friend show goes there the entire winter season. And yet, after picked up shoes and a board, it was 8:15. Was ready to ride on it. Then……. Lifts starts on 9:00AM SHARP. What’s the reason you start renting out at 8am? I really need to go to pee. And guess what, there is NO BATHROON IN THE BOTTOM(at rental facility), only you could go use the first lift and or walk up with your entire gears with wrong boots for 20 min to get to the middle of the building. Only ONE bathroom exists in this entire snow park. Cafe opens at 8am, all other two restaurants with beer and alcohol won’t open until 10AM. Nothing to do for the one hour. Just come at 8:30 rental window and come pick up around 8:45am. All the rental and lift pass for one day (9am-4pm) cost me $90 for weekend. And it can be more expensive in high season as I came in April. Another dangerous safety issue in here was that on the beginner’s course, big rocks were on surface. If a kid fall into that with his/her face?? End up bleeding and stitches. I mentioned that two red jacket stuff. They said “oh yea? They you better be carefully to avoid that”. It WILL also your expensive boards if you ride on it. Since they didn’t do anything, I went there and picked up biggest rocks with myself. THE DANCING CLUB. On man. Maybe some people love club music. Not me. I enjoy the nature and sounds of me riding the wind and snow. The sound was too loud. People were all drunk. (Many were not there to snowboarding, just for party). When sunset time is 7pm now, they closed lifts at 4pm, doesn’t make any sense, the lifts were the SLOWEST EVER I rode on in my life. I snowboarding in Japan, Canada and Switzerland. Made me cat naps, literally. People don’t know how to line up for the lifts. When it gets busy, 4 people need to be 4 people on ONE LIFT. MANY said “oh, we are a group of 3”, and didn’t wanna separate to jump on one earlier (thanks, I skip you all). This is also ridiculous and makes more lines. It was hot day. All the snow was melting and pond. (4/6,2025). I put two starts for the price, probably can’t beat any other mountains/countries. But at least open the bar at 8am. It’s Nevada, nothing is against the law. I may be back, or go Brian, just needs to come weekday, in not too warm days

First time visiting Lee Canyon. It was a beautiful drive up the mountain considering it was April and we didn't expect to see much snow but there were quite a few skiing & snowboarding. Love the Mt. Charleston area.

$20-$30 as a due diligence + easy mode mtn at probably the last week of the season was expected? Do your due diligence on scoping out everything (don't trust the 1st lift rider's paths even if everyone follows, watch for sketch feature setups, and lift chair swings). Demographic mixed with skiers but it's mainly boarders here today. ++Below review/reference for myself includes: Pros/great for, tickets/conditions we went, comparison to other parks, MUST SEE TIPS FOR SAFETY, our timeline schedule from drive off to leave. GREAT FOR -- Beginners + Good for anyone to learn switch and kinda learn certain safe features (do your own due diligence): It's super amazing for beginners though. There are 2 areas (lift and stand on ramps). For the rest of us, the runs are super duper short and good for practicing switch, and more. = I mean for 1 hour easy drive, opens late at 9am at $30 lift tickets is amazing. + Upstairs bar (can ski/board straight into). + Attached side bar + Great jams played by lift staffs. They have a commercialized lodge with wide septic restrooms, cafe/breakfast open at 8am, upstairs bar and detached side bar open later. TICKET PRICES/CONDITIONS of today 3/27/25 -- Today might be part of the last week of the season/85-90s in Vegas now? Our 1st time at Lee Canyon. Weekday tickets were $20 earlier in the week, but we bought the night before $30 for an adult ticket. Ticket prices change daily in comparison to other resorts. + We each got "$10 Credit must be used in one transaction valued at $10 or more." We skim through the email and missed this when screenshoting the qr code and rushing up. Tip: Screenshot your ticket pass ahead of time. No reception from parking lot to it. We didn't know there was free wifi "Lee Canyon Guest". It's super easy to use the QR code ticket system to get you prepaid/online pass Our limited 1 day, off season/probably last week open or doable experience... COMPARISON TO -- It seems comparable to Mountain High but a towny version in terms of service of the lanes and more? Lee canyon has a little park, and park feature. They allow fully iced lanes to patches of exposed dirt and rocks to be run on. Scary! As for features, it's not going to be A+ bear builder quality but it's actually done way better than Colorado (but we went years and years ago, do maybe everyone just got better at park feature building?). Condition: 4 days ago Vegas started having 80-90F at Vegas. It's supposed to be 85 today in Vegas. For Lee Canyon, it's low 50s here, no sun until later. It still was kinda a T-shirt day by 10am. Safety/Caution TIPS!! ! - Lift mats difficulty slide on and off. No snow is being put on it in the beginning. Maybe that's the difference of resorts that cost 2-3x the price service? - Bluebird Lift Chair CAUTION: DUUUUUUUDDDEEEEtte...that bluebird lift chair drop off is aggressive. The right bench arm will always aggressively hit me when sliding off from any seating arrangement on the bench. 1st time we tried it, we both got flipped. The ppl behind us too. I even tried to slide off and hold my hand out to make sure it doesn't smack me...if I make it far enough and fast enough, it pushes me pretty aggressively down. You need to launch yourself as fast as possible. Or else you'll get physically hit by the bench or it's arms. Super dangerous!!! About Routes/Lanes -- - Their long tube was a bit dangerous. Ramp isn't done correctly, and the beginning is very exposed. Before the 9am public can get on the lift, staff does not check out the conditions. They started just adding "thin ice" signs everywhere around after 10amish or 11amish. - I feel some of these patches need to be be x off. There's rocks scattered around from runoffs. - Also, there was one section which was all ice which should have been just closed off until 10am. TIP: STAY ON THE GROOMED path. I made the mistake of following to avoid possible icy and dirt spots. If you board in LA/bear then you can semi-cope better compare to others. Don't trust the staff to make sure the routes, lanes features are safe.

Yelp
Lee Canyon changed a lot since 5-6 years ago when I was there for the last time. They used to have one parking lot on the street and on the hill and everything was concetrated there (ski rentals, locker rooms with benches where you can sit and put your equipment, restaurant, ticket office...). Now rentals are down the hill where the new parking lot it located, so make sure if you need rentals to go to the lover parking lot. The upper area locker room has one chair inside, so you need to wait for some one else to finish, and we all know it might take a long. There is no ticket office any more, but there is machine in outside area where you scan your barcode and you got your ski pas. If you want to attach your card to the plastic hanging thing you can buy this in the store for 6 $. There is another ski trail for beginners apparently from the bunny trail. The new one doesn't have ski lift it has moving rubber (something similar like escalator for skiis). And I was surprised there is a brand new ski lift that was almost empty on Friday morning. Love the nre trail which is not steep as other two. Guys who works on lifts are super cool and helpful. There is also coffee place which is very nice and clean and pretty good coffee choices and not so much food. Bathroom is pretty big and everything is working perfectly

Yelp
You get a $10 credit per paid lift ticket. At the restaurant, they are EXTREMELY rude! I am a veteran in the restaurant industry in Las Vegas...which means I have an extremely long leash when it comes have empathy and understanding. It has taken over an hour to get food 3 out of the 6 times I have been there. I usually bring 3-5 kids with me...and as a parent...we can all attest to how hungry children behave!!! I still really like the place. When you go into the restaurant understanding that it will take an hour...you can prepare and go early. So make sure you prepare! Also, I havnt been in about a month. I sent multiple emails, reached out to the manager on duty, and reached out to the corporate headquarters. No reply back. So I decided to leave this review. I have another two stories that just don't make sense. I don't want to write a dissertation though! With all that said...I will still take my kids here!

Amy L T.

Yelp
Went here on Dec. 25 and Dec. 27 Alert!! Rentals must order online and it took 2hrs for us to get the boots and board. To get the Free Kids power card was not at the same location, you must walk up to the Bristlecone Base Area. We were all exhausted already from just waiting to get our gears. We learned our lesson to never get rentals at the resort so for Dec. 27th we rented elsewhere ahead of time before heading to the resort. Only the easier runs were open. About 90% were beginners there. It's a lot less people compare to Big Bear, but Lee Canyon is so much small that it seemed crowded, so there weren't not much space area for us to practice. My daughter enjoyed her snowboard lesson. Like other reviews mentioned, some staff were friendly and some weren't. Feeling welcome makes the experience more enjoyable for beginners and parents. Hope the management creates a positive work environment. **order lift tickets ahead of time. Prices 2 weeks ago can double on the day of.

Yelp
We're so lucky to have these mountains only an hour away from Vegas. You can ski and snowboard here. Kids under 12 get to ski for free and the kids in our family can't get enough. If you don't ski or snowboard you can come up to ride a lift, enjoy a meal or drink, or just take in the beautiful scenery. It's also great to escape up here in the Summer since the temperature is significantly lower than it is in the valley.

Yelp
Skiing is often missed during summer and heading to the slopes is not only a journey but a financial burden to many. But if you want a reasonably priced skiing trip during the winter while in the Las Vegas area, I'd say, Lee Canyon is the way to go. The whole package including skis, rentals for the shoes and poles, head gear and lift tickets are about $150 or less, depending on what you bring to your trip. It's a small ski resort and often only available during the short winter in the LAs Vegas, Nevada area. When there's a limited snow fall, they use powder but when it's snowing, this ski resort is heaven and divine. Hot drinks are very reasonably priced and burgers etc., are always available too. It's not crowded and the drive from the Las Vegas area is as clean and free as possible. They have plenty of nice and kind staff members who monitor and sustain public safety and skiers. Public safety is also their main goal and all their ski patrols are spread all over the resort during the skiing landscape. We enjoyed the ski trip and hopefully will be back to be here again. They close at 4 PM so be aware to enjoy the skiing before they close.

Yelp
Just wanted to say that I still think this place is great! Came here for the start of the season. Their lift ticket deals are really good. Even got a private lesson for $150 (you can add up to 4 people for no additional charge). Our instructor, Dave, was the best. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and overall great. I would highly recommend taking lessons from him!! This place is definitely great for beginners to learn or to even just chill in their restaurant area. The staff is pretty nice and parking is easy. Would recommend coming here at least once!

Yelp
First but definitely not the last time here! Our son got married here and they used rented out the lodge for the evening. It exceeded our expectations for sure. Their reception-banquet room itself was wide open with super tall windows allowing the breath taking views be the decor. Their wedding coordinator (I think her name was Emily) was on top of it all night! She put out the decorations the bride brought and did a great job. She guided everyone to head out to the outdoor ceremony spot, got the reception started right after the ceremony, cut the cake and was there till the very end of the reception. Our bartender was on her game! She was friendly, quick with service and handled the crowd all on her own. A possible downside was the bathroom was downstairs but there was an elevator available for those who can't traverse the stairs multiple times. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I would HIGHLY recommend this spot for anyone who wants to rent out this space for a special occasion.

Hubert Z.

Yelp
Small ski place easy drive from strip. Not that many runs. There is a beginner run, then experienced intermediate or higher. Good to learn skiing. Lift runs on diesel fuel, so bottom of beginner lift has diesel exhaust smell. Rental experience was terrible. After getting lift tickets, they don't tell you that you have to drive down to another parking lot for rental equipment . No signage either. We had reservations and showed up on time, but whole process of lining up for boots then skis took over 1.5 hours. After that, child received wrong skis meant for someone else. After we figured that out, found out one ski binding was defective that is why it kept coming off. Overall wasted about 2.5 hours. I wrote to customer service only asking for rental refund of just child, and they sent back a generic email of their refund policy.

Jeanette R.

Yelp
The fact that you can't even call them for customer service alone is ridiculous and insane. They want you to email your concerns and will take 3 days to respond. I tried to call them to let them know their website no matter what day you pick it won't allow me to purchase and wanted to ask if I could purchase in person as on their website it says online only... how are people are supposed to get any help?? And it's affecting their business too. It gives no "next" option after selecting any date

Dwight C.

Yelp
Originally known as The Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort, Lee Canyon is Southern Nevada's only ski resort. It's located in the stunning Spring Mountains. But it's not just for winter lovers--when the snow melts, Lee Canyon transforms into a mountain biking and hiking paradise. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting, Lee Canyon has something for everyone.

Charlie B.

Yelp
As we were driving up to Lee Canyon, we found that there was absolutely no cellphone reception. When State Park maintenance ends about half a mile from Lee Canyon, you will encounter huge holes in the asphalt pavings & uneven surfaces, making it to hazardous to vehicles and people. Also, there is very limited parking spots on the side of the road and the parking area is very small at the base of Lee Canyon. Considering the amount of tourists who visit the area, Lee Canyon should invest money on installing a cell tower and improving the roads.

Robert B.

Yelp
Terrible and worse. Drive to Brian Head rather than waste your time at the "Updated" Lee Canyon. They completely screwed up the entire set up of the resort. It is also grossly understaffed. Ski passes are at the entrance and ski rentals are a mile and a half down the road. To get there you have to take frequent shuttle rides. Once you get there, there are ridiculously long lines. The facility is a joke. We arrived here for noon skiing. It is now 230 and we still have not even gotten the skis. It took an hour to get one of our group members of Pass. An hour to get boots. God knows when we will actually get skis. The resort closes at four. Total waste.

Michael Y.

Yelp
Having been many times to nearly all of the ski/snowboard resorts in Southern California (including Snow Valley, Bear Mtn, Mtn High, Mammoth etc.), Lee Canyon is not only far less expensive, but a better overall experience. The days we went the snow was good, trails well maintained and I have to say that the customer service, both onsite and especially the people who answered my email questions and concerns were awesome! First, you may see some negative reviews mentioning the rental process and staff, but I can almost guarantee that these people were either visiting on a holiday or a weekend right after it had snowed. When this happens, it is not unlike any other resort, you should expect it to be crowded. On our first day, it was no exception, we did wait for our rentals, but despite the busyness, we found the staff very attentive and customer service staff addressed every single one of my questions with a quick response. For any issues we had, the staff far exceeded my expectations, making a raving fan, loyal customer out of me. This is how a great business operates and values its customers. Lee Canyon is on the smaller side, with 5 lifts and 22 trails, but it felt less crowded than most resorts I've been and I never found it overcrowded. The parking lot can fill up quite fast so you'll want to arrive early, better if it's close to or even before opening. Else, you may be walking very far. There are several lots so you should always be able to find parking, but be prepared to lug your equipment from a distance if you plan to come later in the day. Lockers are also available at a reasonable daily rate. Food options are decent, I even found things like chicken strips, pulled pork and hot dogs quite tasty, it is comparable to amusement park food prices. Being vegetarian, I just wish they could have had a few vegetarian/vegan food options, possibly a veggie burger, veggie hotdog or other options. Staff operators were very nice and helpful for the most part. Our kids struggled at times to get on and off lifts, and staff were right there to help. You will see quite a few beginners here but because my kids are beginners themselves, we felt like we fit right in. Most of what you book should be done online including lift tickets, rentals and lessons. It's super convenient to pick up your tickets at the kiosks all around. Prices rise as you get closer to whatever date you you so you're encouraged to purchase earlier. Overall, this has become one of my favorite resorts. Looking forward to coming back soon and many more times.

Vivian R.

Yelp
the "snowboard experience" is pretty useless in my opinion . all they did was show how to put the snowboard on and how to "glide" and from there you are on your own . as a first timer i expected a much more than the basics of the basics . Ashley the bartender was great super friendly and made amazing cocktails . Thankfully my bf was there to help me .

Michael M.

Yelp
Happy to share some feedback about my experience. While I encountered a few positive interactions--such as with some instructors and a member of the ski patrol--I was alarmed by the behavior of several staff members. 1. Upon arrival, the staff managing the equipment rental was curt and unwelcoming. Besides the younger gentleman 2. At the ski lift, a female staff member was yelling at guests in a manner that seemed highly unprofessional. 3. On the magic carpet, a staff member was screaming at an 8-year-old child and sarcastically asking if he could read the sign. These instances of rude and, at times, verbally abusive behavior created a very uncomfortable environment for me and my family. I understand that working with large crowds can be stressful, but I believe guests deserve respect and kindness during their visit. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address these concerns with your staff to ensure a more positive experience for future visitors.

Liz L.

Yelp
Visited Lee canyon for the first time this past weekend, I had only skied maybe twice before so don't really have it down yet. When I exiting the lift I fell off, I was hoping the operator would stop the lift but instead he yelled at me very loudly to get up. My friend told him to stop the lift and he refused. Instead keep telling me to keep my head down as I tried to get up and out the way. Will never come back to this established. Honestly hope it closes.

Yelp
Quick little drive from Las Vegas, make sure to bring snacks and water on the drive because your literally in the middle of no where. Best to have 4 wheel dive as if you park for sledding you will be in snow. There was a few people digging snow out from their tires. If you leave towards the afternoon there is traffic and police are directing traffic. If there are too many vehicles parked at sledding you will not be able to drive through. Note: high elevation so don't blow up inner tubes before coming up because they will pop. Bring glasses to protect your eyes from the bright glare of the snow. Warm clothes as it is a tad chilly. Fun time with the family!!

Paula D.

Yelp
It was my first time skiing and I tried the free snow experience Lee Canyon was offering. Ruben was our instructor and HE WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST. Ruben taught us all the basics of skiing and he made sure everyone in the group was comfortable and confident before moving to the next step. Ruben also went on the ski lift with us, taught us how to get on and off and he also taught us how to safely get down the slope. I highly recommend Lee Canyon for beginners and I would definitely come back and get private lessons with Ruben!

Maria E.

Yelp
Coming from Colorado, this was a big disappointment. We've been to various ski resorts within the US and overseas. This is the first place we've been that your ticket you purchase limits you to certain runs! You have to pay additional for each run. My son's friend purchased rentals and had to specify a time frame to pick up his gear, well that was pointless, they had to wait in line for 2 hours! The staff were unfriendly, lady working the lift at the top was extremely rude. This is the most expensive ski resorts we've ever been to, and for man made "snow"(ice) they should be deeply discounted. You are better off driving 3 hrs to Bryan Head.

Lyn K.

Yelp
For the purposes of this review, I'm only going to be rating the lessons process. Note: I find it hard to figure out how to properly review this establishment, because there are so many elements I want to cover and my opinion on one thing, for example, the rental process, is completely different and separate from my opinion on another, such as the lessons. Reservation process: very smooth online to pick a date and time. They are very clear that this does not include lift tickets. For this trip, I got a private snowboarding lesson for myself and a Snow Kids snowboarding session (kids small group lesson) for my 10 year old. Big plus is that kids under 12 get free lift tickets through the Power Pass. Driving: driving up was a piece of cake. We've gotten used to highway patrol confirming passes/tickets and turning away cars wanting to find a snow play area, but it is always such a long wait. As soon as I showed my pass, they waived us through, so our time with highway patrol was under 10 seconds. The roads were plowed and it was a sunny day, so despite lights signaling chains required, there was no need nor was it enforced. Parking: Lee Canyon has done a great job revamping their parking areas to accommodate a lot more cars, so the flow making it in and finding parking was easy. Parking area was plowed and clean, so no issues driving through it. Getting Lift Tickets: easy. Scan your QR code at a kiosk and it'll spit out your reloadable card. I tried for mine and it wouldn't issue a new card because I already had one, but I wanted to test it anyway lol. Rental Process: long and inefficient. You get your boots first and then head to another area and wait for your board/skis. The process seemed smooth enough, but I think they were understaffed for the needs. We waited a solid 1.5 hours from start to finish to get geared up, almost making us late for our lessons. Lesson meet-up: Snow Kids was clearly marked and the drop-off process for my daughter was easy. They took her no problem and I headed off up the hill to the private lessons yurt. Once I got there I was greeted by Malcolm, who happened to be my instructor as well! Lesson Overview: Malcolm and I discussed my experience and my goals. I'm a long-time self-taught adult snowboarder and I knew my technical skills were in need of correction if I wanted to improve or progress. Malcolm was so patient and explained everything so well - his examples, explanations, and demos really helped it click in my head. He was incredibly encouraging, celebrated when I'd follow with good technique, and was gentle with poor form/technique corrections. He even ended the session with some new stuff, like trying to ride switch and techniques for riding through trees! I had such a blast and learned so much in our short private session! TLDR; HIGHLY RECOMMEND private lessons with Malcolm! He's an exemplary employee and is phenomenal in this instructive technique and rapport that works great for both kids and adults! I never felt discouraged or overwhelmed and the things he showed me are tangible things that I can remember, continue to work on, and build upon! THANK YOU SO MUCH MALCOLM! Extra side note, I have to give a grateful shoutout to Rylen, who waited patiently with my kiddo whose session ended earlier than mine. He and Malcolm have these warm, friendly, and kind personalities that I'll never forget! Thank you!!!

Keare W.

Yelp
Our visit was far from what we expected. The ski rental area was chaotic--staff seemed disengaged, more focused on their phones than assisting customers, and the music playing was completely inappropriate for a family-friendly environment. On the slopes, the lack of professionalism continued. A worker at the top of the hill made unnecessary comments about my family member who had fallen guess they didn't realize we were all together instead of showing concern. Meanwhile, staff at the bottom were rude and unhelpful, seemingly more interested in playing football than assisting guests. This is a business, and customers deserve better treatment. We won't be returning and wouldn't recommend it to families looking for a welcoming and professional environment.Very disappointing Experience Unprofessional Staff & Poor Atmosphere!

Yelp
My new NV summer/life hack is heading to the mountains, where it's easily about 30 degrees cooler. After my first desert summer and living in the triple digits, I was in heaven. The scenic chair ride round trip for two did cost about $48, purchased with "window rates" aka in person. TIP: Pricing is variable and is subject to change at anytime. The further you purchase in advance the cheaper your tickes will be. Window rates will be increased. Buy online, if you can! Lastly, be sure to bring layers in case your body has been so used to baking in the sun that low 80 degrees feels cold.

Ika F.

Yelp
The new runs and chairlift are far better than I had imagined. They are a must-see and must-ski. This will be a great new season on the ski mountain. There is so much for the intermediate skier and lots of room for the beginner. Lee Canyon has new ownership and they have done so much to improve the area. Good on them!

Zack W.

Yelp
For our honeymoon, my wife and I decided to go skiing for the first time (with an experienced skier) and the team working the lift would not just help us get our skis over the icy patch to the lift, and when we asked for help he said "no" 3 times to my wife, and then said that he was "over helping people". It made my wife uncomfortable to go back on. When I did ride again and asked him about why he wouldn't help he just said "you don't have to ride". Ruined the start of our honeymoon.

Really fun place to ski, now it isn't very big or have many runs, this isn't Tahoe or Park City but you are less than an hour from the strip! Lodge is awesome, food was great, parking easy. Some really cool tree runs, kids liked the park of course. We had a fun day at a fun place to ski

Yelp
This resort is extremely unorganized. Kids are everywhere skipping the line, throwing snowballs at people from the lift. The workers are super slow and not very helpful. We paid full price for the lift tickets and equipment rental and they only had one slope open. Lamest skiing of my life. Please don't waste your money on this just stay in Vegas.

Yelp
First time at Lee Canyon and it was great. They're doing construction right now, so we had to take a bus to & from the gear rental place. The bus ride itself was pretty interesting & funny because it was all young workers. They had lots of energy & were very talkative. Anyway, it was a fun time, & the slopes were fun!

Yelp
A ski and snowboard resort close by the Las Vegas strip! It seems unbelievable, but it is really a fun getaway and feels like another world so close to Vegas. A very nice coffee shop and another restaurant. Lots of lessons for kids to learn to ski/snowboard

Yelp
Love coming here for all the fun outdoor activities. I've been especially enjoying the mountainside yoga that's been happening every weekend. Great way to start the morning ‍

Yelp
Do not go to lee canyon. We waited for like 3 hours and still didn't get to ski. I thought this would be fun for my birthday, but it wasn't. And I didn't even get to touch snow. Ruined my day.

Yelp
We waited an hour in line to purchase rentals and after being second in line we overheard the agent tell the guest she was helping that they were sold out. NO heads up to everyone waiting in line. We were told that due to it being the day after the super bowl the Ski was extremely understaffed due to callouts. I want to give this place another try but it really is sad seeing as we drove so far to celebrate my boyfriend's 21 birthday. Also finding parking is a pain. If you park far prepare for a mini hike.

Yelp
Really rude staff at the shop, she wouldnt let us shop even though they were not closed yet, but the blonde did attend another couple. Highly dissatisfied.

Yelp
I come here every weekend... Today, I witnessed something so weird and unsettling. I was in the parking lot when a white chevy truck came flying up the parking lot. Mind you there was customers and a worker wearing a bright vest almost get hit. Very close. I don't see anyone else driving that fast because the parking people are always clear and lets us know to slow down. I walked down to the Lee Canyon sign down the hill to try to see who was driving the car, but I realized it was the same car I see parked in the authorized vehicle only entrance. I have drove down there by accident the first times i was here and i was told only management can park down there. This is unsafe and very unprofessional. Very disappointed. Never coming back and telling friends and family to not come up due to these circumstances. This is just wow. Imagine if there was a kid.

Yelp
I did not know that you could snowboard or ski here in Las Vegas!! I had the most amazing time at Lee Canyon. There were tons of people old and young snowboarding/skiing/just hanging out! Most of the people I ran into were very friendly. There's a cafe, bar, bathroom all on site as well as a rental place for the snow sports. My rental experience started off bad but ended very well! The woman at check-in for rentals was very rude and unhelpful. It was my first time, and she sent me back and forth a lot instead of explaining that before I can rent, I need a lift pass. I feel like she stole a full hour if my morning :( But after I got checked, the 3 people who helped me afterwards were very nice! There is a separate person who gives you the boots, and 2 people at a counter for the board. They were all very friendly and helped me put on the gear! The rentals were $59 online, and the lift pass that I bought on site was $89. It is pretty pricey for just one day, so I would get there early to make the most of it! We arrived when they opened and left at nearly closing. It was fun and would definitely come here again!

Yelp
Horrible planning by management... Christmas weekend with only one person working check in and the rentals. Waited over two hours just to get the gear. Why would you plan like this...

Felicia J.

Yelp
Nice small area to enjoy the snow not too far from Las Vegas. The equipment and rentals was expensive but the experience was nice

Yelp
It's just hard to get good help on the mountain so what can I say? I like to visit in the summer mostly . Spent about $60 we ordered at the same time but paid separately. She was done eating and I didn't even have my food yet. It was a little awkward that they served her and she was afraid to eat in front of me. It wasn't busy otherwise I would understand , I'm in the business. I just didn't think it was right.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went skiing here yesterday and were extremely disappointed in the whole experience. From the minute we got there it was super unorganized and really long waits. We then realized there was only one ski slope open after we paid full price for all the gear and passes. We were never told by the workers there was one slope open. We found this out by asking people around us. You can only ride one slope so many times.. waste of money. They should definitely tell you this before purchasing tickets. Food wait was also over a hour, and just to get one drink from the bar I waited over 30 minutes. If you want to really go to a nice ski resort check out keystone ski resort in Colorado!

Yelp
We booked our tickets online as Lee Canyon underscores for efficiency. The power went out at the temporary rental facility, causing a 2.5 hour delay to get our daughters ski rental. Not a single representative of Lee Canyon came outside to explain to all of the standing families as to what the delay was, as the doors were closed. Really caught off guard as to how Lee Canyon could be so uncaring, as our family has been coming here for years. This was no Christmas spirit, just cold as the air was while we stood in line for hours.

Yelp
Beautiful place to visit and alot of fun for the whole family to go sledding down hills. The only thing missing is the availability of restrooms and trash management. Open to the public without any fees but the police will block the road if there's too many people present in the area. Don't stop and block traffic, or the police will tell you to move. There's a lot of people coming and going, so waiting for parking won't be tolerated. Best time to go is before 7am or so but we came up around 10am and only waited until the cops left. The hills are steep and you have to watch yourself and the kids for sledders coming down the hill. There are signs every where stating that any injuries are at your own discretion. Stay safe, stay warm and have fun!

Joshua N.

Yelp
season pass owner -- terrible customer service to not have a human answer the phone. they dont answer the phone so I can't verify if the road is closed as Apple Maps is saying or not... why can't you have a person to answer phone calls? too cheap?

Yelp
I love skiing but they gave me the wrong size of ski's I was miserable. Tooo big. The lady that handed me the equipment had major attitude. They ran out of equipment by 10 am. Some of the staff and so rude. Many people complain about that. I also believe they were short staffed. Other than that the bartender was so sweet and made some good margaritas. I won't go again unless I have my own ski's. We also waited over a hour to get the equipment.

Yelp
First time at this spot, usually we stay at the bottom of the mountain by the Lodge, but this spot is the GO-TO! Great slope for sledding. Accept some Donkey took a Shovel and make a dip hole causing kids to get hurt when the sled went thru it. My child and other smaller kids were hurt and also left because of the injury But other then this, parking is very little, so you snooze you loose if you don't find one. People took, chairs, speaker for music and Great Vibes.. Enjoy . This place is RIGHT BEFORE LEE CANYON. It's not found though on yelp. Better on Going to GOOGLE MAPS. your

Yelp
The menu was limited but we sat outside with my dog Duke and had some water to rest before our ride back down the mountain. The staff was very nice and did not bother us. It was a walk up service so you go inside to order get a number and then they bring your order to your table.

Yelp
Looking to take a "short" local road trip in just under an hour. Then Lee Canyon is the place for you. Beautiful scenery, fresh air and a winter wonderland (Snow), for the kids and even some adults to enjoy. You don't have to be a skilled skier or snowboarder. You don't even need fancy equipment or expensive snow gear to have a great time. An inner tube or even a plastic snow sled will do. Snow is expected to last up until the end of May. So, you might want to make the drive with family and friends while it still last. I'm sure you'll enjoy the day.

Yelp
A winter escape from the desert! New chairlift and new parking lot. Always friendly staff! Get up here!

Yelp
As a last minute attempt to snowboard, my partner and I hit this resort while in Las Vegas for the weekend. We were thoroughly impressed! The trails had pretty good coverage and the groomers were well maintained. We purchased our lift tickets online a few days prior and if you ride on a weekday, you actually get $10 resort credit with every lift ticket purchase! We utilized that to get a breakfast croissant and a morning coffee, which is well worth it! We frequent many different resorts in different states, but this is the only one where we encountered getting this additional store credit! The trails were all beginner friendly and is a great place to go if you are barely learning how to snowboard since the terrain is very forgiving. Today we went they also had 2 parks up with decent features to hit, which was super fun! Overall, we had an amazing time and we definitely will be back if we are in Vegas during snowboarding season.

Yelp
It's only getting 3 stars since it's the closest place to snowboard in Vegas. If there were other options, I'd rate it a 2 out of 5. They don't bundle the rentals and lift pass anymore. They also don't offer a student discount or locals discount on the single day pass which sucks. Not everyone wants a season pass and the high price point turns away people who just want to try it out. There is a lack of intermediate slopes as well. Yes, there are some throughout the map, but they all have the height of a Black Diamond. It's a steep jump from the bunny slope to the next trail. $60 for rentals + $84 for a lift pass just to be limited to one slope the whole day. It isn't worth it in my opinion unless you know how to snowboard. Tips: - Go during the weekdays if you can - Arrive before it opens to get good parking - Bring food or at least snacks and water - Book a single day pass at least a week before to get it at a discounted rate

Yelp
I've been to bear, mammoth, Tahoe... the slopes here are good for learning and a quick getaway. The one thing that I do not like about this place is you can tell the staff is miserable. Upon looking around I noticed the supervisors are sometimes very unfriendly with the staff. You can see and feel the power trip coming off of them. I even heard a staff member complain that people quit because the supervisors are not the best. As a business owner, supervisors should be leaders, not dictators. But overall, buy your passes before hand. If you can avoid renting avoid it because you'll wait for hours.
