Fun Gallery. I was the only one there and was allowed to look at the art at my pace.

Really beautiful work was on show when I when and the staff were very friendly. The gallery is a lot bigger than one might think.

Lots of little galleries in this space. Saw some incredible shows when I went for Firat Friday recently (October 2024). This place has been around for ever, and always a must-see for First Fridays.

The Art Center was a perfect venue for my dear friends' wedding! The layout is very interesting and open. I also really enjoyed the exhibitions at the time by Dora Agbas and Rena Wood.

Yelp
This was an amazing find free show with lots of Art. 2 floors captivating stories. I also went to a unrelated mending circle workshop at this location.

Yelp
Very nice gallery with large open rooms. Very inviting, several different artists and exhibits. Took our time and we were in and out in about half an hour. We really enjoyed the mechanical art, paintings, pottery and tile work. A few of the artists were there. Very friendly.

Yelp
I went here during First Fridays and of all the galleries I've been to in the Crossroads, I was thoroughly impressed by the Leedy-Voulkas Art Center. I'm no expert at anything, but like men and food, I know in the first five seconds if I like something. The same goes for art. And I loved the art here. All the artists on display were very interesting, different, and eclectic. The art was displayed in a very accessible and inviting way. The space itself is interesting and really gives you a chance to take everything in. There is a great neighborhood feel to this gallery that makes you wish you were just kicking it here on a quiet afternoon. There were a few music acts happening which added to the fun, but I would definitely come back here on a non-First Friday and spend some time wishing I had $800+ to buy an Amy Kligman painting. Sigh. Someday.
