One of the best Middle Eastern cuisines I have tried. For appetizers, their baba ghanoush and hummus are show-stoppers. Both were flavorful and delicious. The ceviche was also tasty. Among the main dishes, the ribs stood out, while the duck was decent but a bit too chewy. On top of that, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience with delicious food.

The restaurant is located on the 1st floor right next to CIMB bank. Cozy ambience with nice lounge music but could get a little loud if you're seated directly under the speakers. Some may find the tables nearer the kitchen a bit warm. If you're not fond of the heat, then do request for a spot further up front. Menu is quite focused with a decent selection of starters (great for sharing), mains, and a few desserts. Smoked hummus: my favourite dish of the day. This smooth dip came with a surprising depth of smokiness and paired exceptionally well with the hot sesame topped bread. Could do with a little less of the red oil. Baba Ghanoush salad: the combination of crispy eggplant bits and the creaminess of the charred eggplant was a play of contrasting textures in the mouth. After a while the oil in this dish starts to get to you. Best shared with more than 2pax, if not can be a bit jelak (cloying). Lamb rack: meat was a overcooked hence quite chewy. Fortunately, it wasn't gamey at all. The muhammara sauce and pickle accompaniment was good tho. Reservation is recommended. If the stairs is a challenge, you may want to check out their sister restaurant S.A.J located a few doors away and is on ground level. There are similarities in the menu but at a slightly different price point.

A Truly Exceptional Experience 🌟 I recently visited Leen’s Middle East Kitchen, and honestly, it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in Malaysia! I started with the Baba Ghanoush, and it was absolutely outstanding — unique in flavor, unlike anything I’ve had before. The touch of crispy fried onions on top was an incredible addition that elevated the dish to a whole new level 🔥 The Smoked Hummus was also amazing — the hint of smoked oil gave it a deep, rich flavor, and it came with freshly baked hot bread. You simply won’t find hummus like this anywhere else in Malaysia! We also tried the Kebab Khashkhash, which was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and full of flavor. But the absolute star of the night was the Short Ribs — honestly the best I’ve ever had. So tender, so flavorful — unforgettable. For dessert, the Kunafa Ice Cream was a brilliant creation — a perfect mix of crunch and creaminess. And the Adeni Ice Cream, with flavors inspired by spiced Adeni tea, was a creative and delicious surprise. The ambiance was warm and inviting — a great place to enjoy a relaxed yet elevated dining experience. Highly recommended! 💯🔥

We came here for dinner. We booked via WA the same day, because it showed no space for reservation from the online site. The atmosphere is relaxed and chill. The food is very good. I have tasted the best smoked hummus of my life. The bread is homemade, of course, and is great. Worth the 29 Ringgit, also size-wise. The Baba Ganoush was also very well rounded (it is cold). Perfect combination of crisp and tasty aubergine complemented with the sourness of the pomegranate. Worth the 32 Ringgit. The main courses are simply spectacular: the short ribs are awesome, the combination of pesto and artichoke puree is incredible. The mest was so tasty and literally melted in your mouth. The lamb rack was also very good. The samak was good, the meuniere sauce and hummus combined very well, though i could hardly make out the peas and the taste of the fish in itself. Nevertheless, it does deserve a try! The restaurant serves fresh water that is constantly refilled upon need.

Excellent food! Best hummus I've ever tasted and had to order seconds. The breads were awesome and we had 16 pieces of bread in total, shared by 5 people. Everything else we ordered were fabulous. Very busy restaurant. Reservations a must.

Arabian bread with smoked hummus was chefs kiss ✨ the baba ganoush (roasted eggplant salad) was my favourite- it was smoky and delicious with the bread. Enjoyed the short ribs as well, it was very tender and flavourful. Would come back again to try other dishes!

Honestly, deserving of a 5 star. If you’re fancying Middle Eastern food - this is your place. This place has gone viral for good reason, and takes one of the top spots for best Michelin finds in all of Asia. The baba ganoush and the hummus had a very intense smokey flavour which added a lot of depth that was paired perfectly with the fresh lemonade (a must order). Without the lemonade, it needed a squeeze of lemon or perhaps sumac to balance the smokiness - so order the lemonade!! The lamb chops were perfectly cooked and seared on a bed of the most delicious muhammara I’ve tasted. Also, decently plump and meaty. But the standout is the Syrian chicken rice. That was a perfectly balanced and very delicious bowl of food. All in all, a must visit place in KL.
