Visited in January 2026 during a weekend dinner. We made a reservation in advance to avoid disappointment.
We started with the smoked hummus, served with four pieces of Arabic bread, topped in the center with chili oil and chickpeas. The hummus was enjoyable and paired well with the Arabic bread. While it didn’t carry a strong smoky flavour, it was still well executed and pleasant.
The short ribs were served on top of an artichoke purée, which was quite a unique touch. The ribs had a light smoky flavour, were soft in texture, and overall tasted good.
For dessert, we tried the Muhallebi — a tahini pudding served with passion fruit sorbet and sesame seed brittle. This was refreshing due to the passion fruit sorbet. The generous portion of pudding paired nicely with the sorbet and crunchy brittle. It would be even better with a slightly larger sorbet portion, but this is definitely recommended.
The Kunafa ice cream, served with smoked kunafa and pistachio ice cream, delivered the strongest smoky flavour among all the dishes. It was enjoyable, though the pistachio cream portion was larger than the ice cream itself. A better balance with more ice cream would improve the dish.
The ambience was cosy and comfortable, and the staff were friendly.
Overall, the food was quite good and worth a visit.
