I went to check out Chicken Plus down the road but they were packed and I prefer to not wait in line for food, so I tried out Lee's Burger Joint.
A+ for customer service. The lady was very nice and respectful.
Although they had a sticker that showed that they took credit cards, the lady said they actually don't accept them. Not a big deal since I had cash on me.
I ordered the cheeseburger and fry combo and paid $9.70.
The 1/2 lb patty was heavily seasoned and thick. I personally prefer thinner double-stacked patties because it's hard to properly cook a thick patty and not dry it out. Some places like Beck's Prime successfully cook thick patties, but unfortunately not Lee's.
The fries were also thick. They tasted slightly burned. But they did give a big portion.
Although I love burgers, the patty was too dry and seasoned, and the fries need to be improved. I couldn't finish my meal; I had to throw it away.
I like supporting local businesses, but they need to improve
