Lee's Burger Joint

My first time here and when I say their burgers are the best burgers I’ve literally ever tasted in my life! Omg they were so good! The burger was seasoned to perfection! The fries too! Then you get a big bag of fries that comes with it. Now back to that burger, it was real meat! Not like the fake meat you get at MickyDees. The vegetables on the burger was very fresh! I will be back! I purchase two burger meals totaled out to about $20 bucks. Very affordable prices! Great food! The customer service was excellent!

Had the big league burger, fries, and a large kool-aid. Tasted like the backyard BBQ from that auntie with the big arm. I'll definitely be back. Great family owned spot. The photo tells it all!

It's small and going through some remodeling, but that doesn't change the fact that the food is A1. I had the cheese burger and fish burger with the most flavor full fries I may have ever had. Good stuff Maynard.

Damn this place was good! I had the fish burger with/ fries cause it’s Friday. The catfish burger was good but fries were great! Just like my grandpa used to cook ‘em. The guys serving were very nice and were happy to talk about the menu. The decoration in the restaurant was cool too. Lots of history and pictures of local politicians. I’ll be adding this place to my rotation.

We ordered on Door Dash., I ordered pork chop basket, it says it’s supposed to come with 2 center cut chop with fries. I only got 1 very big chop and the bread wasn’t toasted, Also ordered a Lees cheeseburger with no mayo but they put mayo. And the chop was fried too hard. This was our 1st ordering here and was very disappointed

Delicious homemade burgers and homemade fries! Serving sweet red kool-aid 😍 Friendly service. They have a variety of food to choose from. There is a wait but that's to be expected when they are making food from scratch.

First time here. I was greeted by everyone in there. I ordered and waited. While waiting for my food everyone that entered spoke to you. Definitely a community spot that I would visit again. The food was delicious and nothing beats a homemade hamburger!! Yummy!!

I'm not much of a burger person, but this bacon burger I had was very much fresh made, pattied out by the chef and fresh cut fries. My son enjoyed his fish sandwich with onion rings. The one thing I wanted to try was the Kool aid I had been hearing about, which was out. Cashier was so polite, sorry I didn't catch her name. I guess I was so hunger! LOL Will visit again. Cons: parking limited.

I got the pork chop platter and they forgot my salad. The pork chops were fried to hard though as well. The first time I went there I got a cheeseburger basket and it was great...

Burger is delicious, its huge, and fresh. For me personally, the burger is too big to finish in a sitting and the bread gets soggy when you don't eat it right away. I don't care to eat the fries and hate to waste food but they always act like they can't just give me the burger lol. Anyways, the cook is great and if you have a big appetite I suggest you try it .

I got a smash burger basket and it was amazing. It was fresh and nicely seasoned. The owner was there and very hospitable. I'm only in town for a few days but I will def be back before my trip is over

I should've ate my food fresh, the bun had gotten soggy, the lettuce is old and the fries have little to no flavor. & I got no sauces with my fish. The service was good as it was only the cashier and the cook in there.

being rude to door dasher because they didn't want to work that day! why even be on the app if you don't want the orders!? 10 out of 10 do not recommend based on customer service alone!

My first time here and they are friendly and the food is good. The fries not my favorite but good. I like the vibe, it's a cozy corner with kind people. I will definitely be coming back here. The prices are affordable.

I went to check out Chicken Plus down the road but they were packed and I prefer to not wait in line for food, so I tried out Lee's Burger Joint. A+ for customer service. The lady was very nice and respectful. Although they had a sticker that showed that they took credit cards, the lady said they actually don't accept them. Not a big deal since I had cash on me. I ordered the cheeseburger and fry combo and paid $9.70. The 1/2 lb patty was heavily seasoned and thick. I personally prefer thinner double-stacked patties because it's hard to properly cook a thick patty and not dry it out. Some places like Beck's Prime successfully cook thick patties, but unfortunately not Lee's. The fries were also thick. They tasted slightly burned. But they did give a big portion. Although I love burgers, the patty was too dry and seasoned, and the fries need to be improved. I couldn't finish my meal; I had to throw it away. I like supporting local businesses, but they need to improve

Found this small hole. But they sure do a burger good. Family owned and operated. When I am in the area,I like to stop. Nice ,clean place some good food to go with it.

Best burger in Texas. Seasoning was unique with a delicious profile. Only complaint is I didn't find it sooner.

We were on a time crunch, with hardly any options in the area. We chose Lee's burgers. Excellent choice! We all loved the food and everyone back at work kept saying how good it smelled. Service was great as well.

I really like supporting black owned businesses, especially those with good customer service like they have. Their burger was good and tasty just a little too salty for me. I wouldn't get the catfish again. The only thing good about the catfish is that it is real catfish. It was too salty and soggy. Tasted like only salt and the filets were really small for the price. The dirty rice is really boudain out of the skin(tasted like DJs from the grocery store) but was good and the potato salad was orange and just ok. I think I'll try them once more and then make a final decision. Wanted to try the barbecue but it wasn't ready. Going to try their breakfast(which they are serving now) and that probably will determine if I continue cause surely you just can't mess up breakfast, right.?

The catfish, shrimp, pork chops and fresh cut fries are great alternative option items if you're not a burger perdón! This establishment is black own and operated. It's been apart of the community for sometime and past down a generation. The current renovations consist of a inside dining area, hand wash detail and sometimes community pop up shops. If you're in the area, check out Mr. Lee's!

Friendly place and burger was seasoned very well! Put me straight to sleep! LOL.. wait was a little long but that did not bother us we had nothing to do that day! Very friendly staff and he really catered to us by putting on some R&B music for me and the hubby so yea I will be back! Spent about $34 and it was well worth it and the smoothie slushee in the little machine on the side was sweet and cold!!!

I love going to Lee's Burger Joint when im in Settegast. I dont eat beef but i love me a good tasting turkey burger and Lee's make them just the way i like them big fat and juicy. Now on to their Lee french fries, I have never had fries that you dont even need ketchup with and at lees you will find them there. Still havent figured out whats in that sauce but the sauce got me going back everytime. Thank you Mr. Albert for great customer service I will be back

They didn't have anything in the menu so I picked something they had and waited 20 mins for them to tell me they didn't have what I ordered and that they had the other stuff I wanted on the menu which they said they didn't have so I asked for my money back for the food they didn't have ( 4 orders) then they came out with a few dollars when it was suppose to be more then I waited 20 more minutes for a burger that was mostly bun which is suppose to be their biggest burger Unprofessional

Good juicy fully loaded season burgers, not a fan of the fries. Looking forward to trying the other items soon.

I went to Lee's burger joint today despite the bad reviews that I read because I like to experience things personally. Well I must say that the reviews were pretty accurate, because it's been a long time since I've tasted a simple burger that tasted that bad. I think they are trying to be recognized as the spot with the big burgers but they have a lot to learn. That was the worst seasoned burger I have ever tasted as a matter of fact I don't know what the seasoning was, it tasted like some herbs or something. The burger was put together kind of sloppy and the bun was oversized, the fries were hand cut, which I'm not crazy about (my preference) but I will eat them, they were okay but even though I don't care for them I'm pissed off because they charge $2.50 and they only give you about nine fries, maybe ten or twelve....no more!!!!! I like to patronize black businesses and small businesses but I don't think I'll be going back to Lee's because I can't spend money and not get what I pay for!!!! I have been wanting to try this place since they opened and I must say the wait was a big disappointment!!!!! I'm not going to tell anyone not to go there because you might like.... not good tasting food but I love...... good tasting food and that's not what I got at Lee's Burger Joint!!!!!!! It's a NO from me..... final answer!!!!! ‍

Hours say open at 11. It's 11:15 and there's no one here. I mean if you're supposed to be open at a certain time, you thing you'd have someone in the place. Small parking lot, take out only. Reviews said it was a good place, but I guess there's no way to really find out.
