Fun tiki themed dining experience. Place has been around over 50 years and it feels perfectly nostalgic. Pu pu platter was a hit. Great for a group. Karaoke was uniquely classy - think Sinatra, that kind of music - which added to the experience.

Very traditional Polynesian/oriental food. There are very few sit down Chinese restaurants anymore and this was a throwback to my youth. From the fun kitchen decor to the phenomenal pu pu platter and flaming drinks. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Authentic Polynesian food & dining experience & karaoke. Dinner was & drinks v were delicious (mai tai & zombie islander). My wife & I celebrated our 23rd year since we met. This was a great place to celebrate. Staff is friendly. Food is delicious. You need to experience this great Tiki dining establishment!

Great quality food in a timeless atmosphere. Service is always excellent. My family and I really enjoy there Karaoke nights.

We came here to celebrate a belated Father's Day, and I gotta say, we were very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere of the restaurant was honestly quite beautiful, capturing the Hawaiian spirit quite nicely. Sure, you could tell it was a bit outdated, but I honestly think it added to the feel and made things feel a bit more nostalgic. The food was quite excellent, ranging from the rather tasteful pupu platter to the perfect fried rice. I also had a cocktail which I thought was quite refreshing. The server was also very polite, he gave us extra fortune cookies on the way out. Will almost certainly come again, thank you for the experience :)

The only thing nice about this place is the nostalgic aesthetic. Everything else was horrible. We ordered Lobster however the waiter was near impossible to understand. We explained that we don’t eat meet but they proceeded to bring us lobster with pork and egg on top. Several of the employees then proceeded to make a scene about the misunderstanding, and to mar it worse the boss/owner came back after several conversations and thought we resolved the issue and got loud with us saying we’re wrong, and complaining about the money that was wasted etc. it was so uncomfortable and unprofessional. I will never return! The photo is the “Boss”. Extremely RUDE!

What a wonderful experience!!!! We walked in without a reservation and the host accommodated us right away without any issues. As we waited for our table we were so impressed by the decor and ambiance, it takes you right into the Polonysian culture, from waterfalls walls to fun tiki cups. The food was delicious with almost everything made on premises; the large wonton noodles, duck sauce, pupu Platters and more...everything was great! We will be back!!!

I haz a sad. A tremendous one. I don't know why I can't find my many prior enthusiastic 5-star reviews and updates for Lee's, because I have been their biggest cheerleader and strongest defender for years. Their shrimp with lobster sauce, Hawaii beef, egg roll, fried noodles with duck sauce and hot mustard, have long been my designated Execution Day meal. I have patronized Lee's here in Lyndhurst and in its long-shuttered Clifton location since the late 80s. When I lived in. Nutley, I ate or ordered takeout about once a week. Since moving to CA in January, 2000, every flight home is scheduled around their operating hours. I dine there alone frequently because friends and family are not enamored with their food. On occasion, I manage to persuade them with the promise of karaoke and turpentine-strength tropical drinks that come in a coconut shell with four straws. You must understand, we have endless options for delicious, authentic, regional Chinese cuisine in the San Francisco Bay Area. And I mean, all over it-- the cities, the suburbs, the questionable neighborhoods. What we don't have, is the delicious Americanized "Polynesian" cuisine that I grew up with in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. We had Bamboo East--close enough to walk to for lunch during elementary school, have an egg roll and a bowl of wonton soup, and get back for the bell. We had Ho-Aloha where I did, the majority of my underage drinking, downing Maii-Tais and Rum Runners. We had Chan's Waikiki near the Paramus Park mall, and we had Jade Fountain--in the malls and in Clifton. Even EWR had great "Cantonese" food in C terminal when it was dominated by Continental Airlines, In California, we have "tiki bars" with admittedly, excellent drinks, and mediocre "egg rolls," which we East Coasters know are actually rice paper-wrapped, celery-dominated deep fried "spring rolls," filled with soggy, insipid vegetables, which never passed my lips voluntarily during my 32 years in Jersey. So here is why I am sad. At first, I was happy! I'm in town for the Fair Lawn High School Class of '85 reunion, not feeling very well today. My incoming flight was quite delayed, so I was unable to make my requisite stop on the way to the hotel I saw that I could actually get my mandatory Lee's order from GrubHub. I thought, "This is great! There is a microwave downstairs, and a fridge in my room. Tomorrow, I will pick up some tinfoil and big Ziploc bags, and bring some of my favorites back home to California. That is where the happiness ends. I can forgive the fact that even though I checked the "include napkins and utensils" box, *and* added a note that said, "please make sure to include the napkins and utensils," alas, my bag was devoid of them. But that's not the problem... The problem, my dear friends, was the quality of the food. At last visit, in the fall, I believe, I didn't think things tasted quite the same, but still felt nostalgic. Of course I was going to give them another chance. I regret to say that the complaint that have other reviewers have lodged over the past few years, are now also mine. Starting with the Hawaii beef, which I confess I usually begin eating in the car: it is now tough, liking its distinctive, cumin and turmeric flavor, and just tastes like vinegar. The spareribs are dripping with grease, which led me to not even open the shrimp toast. The eggroll tasted like it had been heated up in a toaster oven and there was none of the juicy bites of roast pork and baby shrimp that I love so much. I did not open the chicken in foil either. The egg drop soup was fine, but I have saved the unforgivable travesty for last... the noodles are now mass produced and packaged. This is where I was actually looking forward to greasiness! Lee's noodles were like none other. They were wide, bubbly, crispy, and tasted like heaven when dipped both in the hot mustard and duck sauce. I would often ask for an extra bag to take home to California. This just hurt my soul. I know there had been talk of selling the place in recent years, and on GrubHub, it is the *New* Lee's Hawaiian Islander, so maybe it's finally happened and the business is now more focused on the bar and karaoke which I know it had become its bread and butter. Over the past 15 years there have rarely been many other patrons when I visited during the day, and they used to do a booming lunch business. Many a pupu platter flew under the ceiling, mounted outrigger canoe while water fell down the rock wall while we sat in sea shaped booths under taxidermied pufferfish. This is by far the longest review I have ever written because it's the closing of a chapter in my life. Thank you, Lee's, for 35 years of making me a little happier. I shan't forget you.

This place is very kichey. Very Polynesian interior with a bar that looks like it goes back to the 1960s. It's a very fun place to visit with all the Polynesian accoutrements hanging from the ceiling and the walls with a waterfall flowing in the background. The service is excellent especially the guy with only a couple of teeth. They were very friendly and accommodating. I had the steak special over Chinese vegetables and my friend had the seafood delight with Polynesian vegetables. Both were very tasty and the sauces were very good. We also had drinks, mai tai's and they were very strong. Overall, a very nice experience on a weekday evening in early summer. It was not crowded, but I suspect it gets crowded during the weekends. This place is a landmark restaurant in the middle of Lyndhurst.

Having a girl's day with the BFF and we couldn't make up our minds about where we wanted lunch until she, out of the blue said, "When was the last time you had Lee's Hawaiian?" MIC DROP! OMG I hadn't been in a good 15+ years and said LET'S GO! Walking in was nostalgic ... it looks exactly as I remember (which is great bur someone who's never been might not get it tho). We were seated in a fun booth and given time to review the menu which drinks were the first thing in order and boy did they deliver! The drinks packed a punch just like we remembered and were served in the iconic tiki glasses. We ordered shrimp toast, wings and the Hawaii 4 Oh and every single thing was SLAMMIN!!!! We took a bunch of leftovers to go and asked for some of their delicious fried noodles with homemade duck sauce as well. We will definitely be back bc they also have karaoke on the weekends and I can only imagine what a blast that is!

Dump - Strongest Drinks The Hawaiian decor in Lee's is pretty cool although it could use some cleaning and some updates. If the decor was updated and the food and service improved this place could be a goldmine. Right now the food is pretty bad and service is nothing to speak. They don't seem very friendly at all. Literally served us the strongest rock gut alcohol drinks I have ever had in my life. Usually I like good old fashioned strong cocktail but these were so strong that my wife went in the bathroom and threw up. We couldn't even finish them. Brutal Thanks

Went for lunch with my friend who was a little under the weather and wanted some soup She has never been and you can get soup anywhere but this place is fun It's more about the ambience then then the food She happens to be Asian so the 92 year old came over and we had a great conversation If you are looking for more than food a place to go

Mr. Lee is incredible a true legend and the food has fresh quality ingredients! Highly recommend Lee's!!! Great atmosphere for a first date or family dinner.

Went there specifically for the Pu PU Platter, some time ago. Every piece on the platter must have been sitting around all day and completely dried out, we left most of it which probably got recycled into the next order. The meal and drinks were fine. Decor was great, it was just like I remembered all those Polynesian/Chinese restaurants that used to be all over going back to the 70's except this one had the waterfall. Which was a nice touch. It is worth going as it was moderately priced and the exotic drinks did have alcohol in them.

Been coming here for over 30 years and still love it! Fridays are karaoke night and regulars love to drink and sing their hearts out. Food is authentic and rarely a disappointment. Service is quick and they give you your space to dine and enjoy and know exactly when to check in on you! Love the old school Polynesian decor! If you truly want to get tipsy quick get a Zombie or Boco Loco! Always get a pu pu platter and request a booth seat. There's just something more to the experience with all my recommendations combined. Mr.Lee (as I've called him all my life) is 90 years old and still as sharp as a whip!

I've heard about this place from a few people and had to go there. It's a throwback to the 70's as soon as you walk in, old school bar area in front and a Hawaiian theme can't go wrong. Food is fine, nothing great, morning horrible. Pu Pu platter is a must and there are strong drinks. But the karaoke is why you go there. Characters galore turn up and you will find yourself up there singing

Went on a busy Saturday night, after seeing reviews I didn't have high hopes for the food. Started with pu pu platter wow it was tasty highlights were the spare ribs and shrimp toast. Main course general tso, It was one of my favorites I've had. As a general tso critic it is hard to find a good dish now that still uses the spicy red peppers in the dish. The sauce was thick sticky & peppery with big pieces of white meat chicken, I was impressed. All to be washed down with a fruity Mai Thai. Service was excellent as workers checked on us frequently. They were setting up for karaoke around 9pm. Took a start off because the bathroom was gross... regular cleaning is needed as it's such a busy place.

Waited for my takeout while drinking a few cocktails. Owner is super friendly. Drinks and food were legit. Ambiance is awesome.

A step back in time to the 1970s. The nostalgic feeling from the tiki style dining room caused me to round up to a 4 star rating. Not much has changed in the dining room in 50 years. This step back in time includes the food, which tastes more like you would find in a Chinese restaurant in the 1970s. The food is adequate, the sauces are a little gummy and the spicy dishes aren't too spicy. The service was attentive.

So look. The food isn't the best Chinese food around. It's very bland. Portion sizes are small for the price and not good tasting. But you don't really go here for the food. Which is weird to say, right? But anyone who is a repeat customer isn't really going for the food if they like good Chinese food. They are going for the experience. The atmosphere. The fountain. The rock wall. The thatched hut coverings. The flaming drinks and flaming pu pu platter. The crispy wide noodles with mustard and duck sauce. Other than that. The food is about a 2 1/2. The shrimp and garlic sauce had very few shrimp. They are frozen. It was bland. Didn't taste like garlic. Didn't taste like much at all. Even the veggies in it were bland. The orange chicken didn't taste like orange at all. If you were to close your eyes and taste it you would never be able to say orange. It's that lacking. The fried rice is also flat and lacking flavor. The pu pu platter stuff is what it is. Fried comfort food. So yes if you're coming for the food, and you're about the food, then I'd pass this up. This is like going to McDonalds for a burger. It's not a good "burger" but it's McDonald's. And you go for McDonalds. If you're coming for good Chinese food. Say no. It's very expensive for marginal food. But if you're coming for the entertainment value and to get something to eat. It works.

I really struggled with giving this restaurant two or three stars. I opted for three stars because it has such a history, it's a relic which I admire. Inside is Hawaiian tiki themed with straw huts and a rock wall with a built in waterfall. I personally really enjoy this theme including the food and drinks that comes along with it. The place is showing it's age and has an overall dated feel.. We dined on a Saturday night and I was surprised that not many people were there. We were seated at our table and I ordered a Mai tai which arrived quickly and was pretty decent. We ordered few appetizers. The Chinese spare ribs were good but the pork dumplings are a hard pass. For my main course I ordered the Mongolian steak medium well. When it arrived I cut into it and it was medium rare at best. I was forced to send it back. After it was returned at the right temperature I found it on the bland side and the Mongolian sauce it was in was very liquidity not thick at all. My wife ordered the orange steak which she said was very spicy and that was not labeled as such on the menu item. My wife also noted her broccoli came out cold which was alarming. The place is very casual, so casual that a couple waiters sat down in a table next to us as it was kinda slow. Overall if your looking for a place to get a tiki drink then by all means stop in you wont be let down but the food wasn't what I had hoped. A

Always made this a " must stop" it will now be a " never stop " my husband and I became deathly ill right after eating here . It was awful !!

You can see this place has found its audience. All personnel are exceptionally kind. The taste quality here impressed me. This spot enjoys a prime position. The acclaim surrounding Lees Hawaiian Islander is accurate - it's exceptional.

Good ambiance, good was meh. Karaoke was fun. i had heard mixed reviews but it was not bad. I really enjoyed the poo poo platter.

My dad has been coming to Lees since growing up in Lyndhurst, and he was excited to take me back! He said the place hasn't changed (in a good way!) with similar decor and the delicious food. We were a party of 6 and made a reservation for a Saturday night. Yummy, island mai tai was what I ordered to drink and we were served Chinese crackers, duck sauce, and hot mustard to start (complimentary). That mustard will clear your sinuses, perfect temperature for me! We ordered a poo poo, which had egg rolls, shrimp toast, spare ribs, etc. not only delicious, but visually appealing as well with a large flame! I had the hunan beef for an entree. Delicious but very spicy, which the waiter warned be about! As we were leaving they were setting up karaoke. Overall great, fun night at Lees!

This place is amazing. Great ambiance, great food, great drinks, exceptional service. Seriously cannot put into words how much I enjoyed it. The only thing I am disappointed about is that i do not have a place like this in my hometown. 10/10

Oh Lee's. An unassuming huge red building on the outside. Transport to waterfalls, tiki hut seating booths, mountains and Bill - the karaoke guy. Now I'm not going to lie to you, people don't exactly come here for the fine cuisine. It's glorified Chinese takeout. With that being said, if you're craving Chinese and want a night out - come here. The aesthetic is on point. There's not one window in sight so it really makes you feel like you're in a mountain, just truly in a different world and certainly not Lyndhurst. The servers are helpful and they sure know how to upsell hahaha. We got the pu pu platter, of course. Now it was incredibly expensive for what it was but to see the excitement on my other half's face while he warmed up his egg roll on that little blue fire for absolutely no reason at all? Priceless. It came with a little of everything and yeah, glorified Chinese food. For entrees we went with shrimp dishes but I would steer clear of the seafood here. Get the FRIED RICE! It's so good. I was reading all the reviews wondering how fried rice could be so good, it is! Just get it. As always, some fried noodles with that sweet dipping sauce just hits home too. Now onto the real treasure - Bill. Make sure to come on karaoke night and you'll have hours of entertainment. He's great. From his bedazzled hat to his pushy manner on the songs, you're in for a treat.

Oh I miss Lee's so much for I was born and raised in Lyndhurst as my sons and family. Now living down in Tennessee and I miss Lee's so much. I loved singing on Friday nights when Linda did the Karaoke..........the food always the best and the owner and his sons and daughter in law. HI all I love and miss all of you. Joanne

Looked interesting, thought I'd give it a try. Best thing about this place was the waterfall / ambience, drinks, and free dried noodle with duck sauce app. Food was bland and flavorless, giant chunks of meat (not on a good way), even rice seemed like it wasn't anything better than Minute Rice. Very expensive ($25-35+ entrees), just for a large portion of food that tastes worse than most $13 takeout.

Ambiance is great the drinks are okay. We went for lunch on Friday & the waitress was very lazy. We asked her for water 3 times. She never did a check back after the food arrived. The owner came over & was lovely. The Poo Poo platter was the best! The entrees were overpriced. If you like Tiki bars you will love it. I'm a foodie & I need excellent service & food entrees..

Great food! Great vibes! Great karaoke! Great drinks! I recommend the scorpion bowl. Service was constant and phenomenal.

I've been eating at Lee's since I was a child, back in the 1970's. THE BEST Chinese food...anywhere! My go-tos- Pan Fried Won Tons, Boneless Spareribs (to DIE for!), Hawaii Beef, Shrimp Toast, Beef & Scallions, Sliced Mushrooms in Brown Gravy, Pork Fried Rice, Beef Kew. Their Won Ton Soup and Egg Rolls were the bomb, but the last time I was there (2021) they were both different and did not taste good. Mr. Lee's son said they had a "new cook". A new cook does not change winning recipes! My party and myself expressed our concern over this and begged and pleaded that they go back to their original recipes. If you are planning to order a drink from the bar, you can't go wrong with a "Zombie", "Planters Punch" or "Love Potion". But be forewarned-...you'll need a designated driver..100% rum!!

I finally went back to the restaurant after the pandemic. Food was ok the ribs and the poo poo platter was excellent. We spent about 350 for 6 of us. The table service was very poor. I hate to be mean or write anything negative but i was really disappointed and disgusted with the service. I will not be coming back.

My family's first visit here celebrating my son's birthday. The food, Hawaiian themed ambiance and service were all outstanding. We all agreed that it was a wonderful experience and we plan to visit again in the neat future.

Woof. The service here is.... Inconsistent. They don't seem to really have a hold of the place when it's busy. There were several times when me and my friends busses our table ourselves just to make room for the food that all seemed to come out at different times. Food was good but do I really wanna wait 2hrs to have a meal ALSO while the LOUDEST open mic night in the history of time is happening in front of me? Pass

Idk if this is a hidden gem, but this has been the best asian restaurant i have been to ever since i moved to Jersey. We tried some Polynesian dishes, and everything was just so fresh. AND I MEAN FRESH. They weren't busy at all, and the food took a bit but honestly was worth the wait. Apparently, they have karaoke there on weekends. The theme inside was very cool, and music fit the theme. We loved everything about it. Take the whole family!! Cery authentic restaurant.

I'm giving Lee's a 5 star review based on an ancient memory. So maybe not completely relevant by today's standards. Anyway, Take it or leave it, this used to be my favorite place to go. I vividly remember the pupu platter & loved everything on it. They had a little shrimp toast that was particularly delicious. I loved sampling all the strong cocktails, I kind of remember a zombie standing out. I loved the atmosphere & decor, kind of like the dragon room in San Francisco though maybe a bit less elaborate. Places like Lee's & the Dragon Room are definitely my jam! So I hope the quality & vibe are still the same as I remember but in full disclosure this is a review based on old memories. Keep it up lee's!

We've become regulars since their reopening! The atmosphere is incredible, there is nothing like it in the tri-state area. Lee's is a true vintage tikibar, when you walk in you really feel transported to a different time and place. Tiki shirts and leis are encouraged, but not required, but sure help to make it feel like youre on vacation when you are sipping a beautiful tiki cocktail! On saturdays there is kareoke, which makes for such a fun evening. If you plan on going on Saturday nights, make sure to get a reservation as the popularity is growing since they have been reopen for a few months now! The pu pu platter is a must, just trust me. But my favorite appetizers are the shrimp toasts and the colossal fried shrimps. We've tried a handful of entrees over the last few months, and the mongolian steak is by far the best thing on the menu. The fried rice, and the chicken and broccoli is also great.

Nostalgia... this one word sums up Lees. This business has been around forever and you step inside a time capsule the moment you walk through the doors. Drinks are exactly what you'd expect whether it's a mai tai or a zombie, good ol throwback tiki mugs and strong fruited alcohol! Food is good and menu has all the old timey names. But let's be honest, you come here for the atmosphere and the people and you won't be disappointed. Get yelled at by sitting at the bar and ordering food, listen to the workers yell at each other, hear some crazy karaoke, slam some tiki cocktails and order some Hawaii-Five-O whatever it's called and leave with a smile!

Love it here. Staff is super friendly. Food is good portions are huge. Everything is home made, not bulk purchased and processed. Although our 1st time we found that this restuarant has been around 53 years and still going strong. I would definitely recommend checking it out!!

they always get an excellent on ambiance the service is always good the food is lacking the place also was empty which I've never seen before. I think they've just given up since they're for sale, the food was bland and undesirable. I was really disappointed as this was one of our favorite places for many years.

My husband and I moved to Jersey from Vegas this year and one of the first things we wondered was if Jersey has any tiki bars. We decided it did not until one day we took a wrong turn on our way home from Newark and saw this gigantic, mysterious building. I immediately looked it up on Yelp and made it a point to visit the next weekend. I knew I shouldn't get my hopes up too high, and I think any newcomers should do the same. But I was just glad to find a place that has that tiki ambiance, tiki drinks and KARAOKE! It was pretty packed on a Saturday night and the KJ was crooning away in the background as we were seated in the main dining area. I made a mental note to try for a booth in the future. We were immediately bombarded for drinks orders which was fine, Mai Tai for me, Painkiller for my husband. Almost immediately after that we were asked about dinner orders. They recommended the Pu Pu platter which we had planned to get anyways, and we got the mapo tofu as well. The service here is interesting. They have a bunch of servers roaming around seemingly trying to shuffle people in and out of the restaurant ASAP. Kind of the opposite of what you want in this exotic environment, and especially when they have karaoke. Apparently if you aren't eating or drinking they charge you $15 to do karaoke. The food was.. fine. The mapo tofu wasn't awful and the egg rolls were good. The drinks were good if not a little small. I could easily drink 3-4 of these and hardly notice it. We got up and did a couple of songs for karaoke and it was fun. A group of young 20-somethings started taking over the mic and the owner got on and reminded them that they were closing in 30 min. It's obvious they aren't a karaoke bar, they're a mediocre restaurant that benefits from kitsch and nostalgia. Good enough for me honestly. We spent entirely too much money but it was fun to get out and try something new. I don't understand the people that seem to come here only the for the food but to each their own. I will definitely be back.

We went here on Friday. It was not that busy. Service was good waitress stood by table until we decided to order. The he place looked good like the rock wall the atmosphere was very open. As for the food I was just ok. We had the pu pu platter for 3 which was $45.00 the spareribs were really good, shrimp toast has a little shrimp paste in the middle, the beef on a stick was good, as for the rest there was too much breading. Next we had the Hawaii 4.0 the "filet mignon" was big chunks and very tough could not chew it. Also had the seafood Hawaii which was nothing special. I did not like the sauce that came with it. The pineapple daiquiri tasted like I was drinking just pineapple juice, could not taste any rum at all. The 2nd daiquiri was much better really tasted the rum in that one. Would I go back there again? NO not a good food place at all!!!

Rather disappointing. I was expecting a PuPu Platter that was reminiscent of the Honolulu of Westboro MA, back in the day (If any of you had been there back in the 80's, you'd know what I am talking about). The decor is similar and a great vibe for sure. The ribs were dry and not much meat, the egg rolls were rather bland and not as full as I'd like. The shrimp toast was okay, but I could taste the grease and it was old. The fried shrimp was the best part. I wanted to like it, but just wasn't impressed.

Lees, what can I say. I think they are going out of business. Had a 21st birthday party for my kid - it was expensive and disorganized and I wound up paying for a lot of people's drinks/food because of the minimum and how terribly they kept charge of people's tabs. Years ago it was good; as I stated, I think they are going out of business soon; maybe even closed already.

Polynesian restaurants were founded by Don the Beachcomber's Polynesian restaurant in 1934 and Trader Vic's Tiki restaurants few years later first captured the imagination of Americans in the 1950's. The Tiki culture was fueled by a combination of things--stories and souvenirs brought back by servicemen returning from duty in the South Pacific, James Michener's book Tales of the South Pacific, the Rogers and Hammerstein musical South Pacific and, of course, the statehood of Hawaii in 1959 that really kicked off the expansion. So, what will you get here? Rude waiters, PuPu platters, and fun drinks This isn't haute cuisine but with the right perspective it can be fun.

Come here for the experience, but that's about it. The food was nothing special and it was overpriced. The items on the menu had the most vague descriptions, so it was really a gamble when I ordered my entree. The atmosphere is great and we went on a Saturday night and they had karaoke. Don't come here for a romantic date or somewhere to have intimate conversations. Drinks were okay, nothing special. The fortune cookies had the most bizarre fortunes, which was pretty funny. The only way I'd come back is if someone else was paying.

Lee's is basically a staple in the area. While I've only been a couple times, it's been a great experience each time. First time we came for drinks and sat at the bar. This is really a great spot for some inexpensive strong cocktails. To keep the Polynesian/Hawaiian theme, most cocktails are super fruity and served in a tiki glass or something to show off their bright color garnished with a fruit. Bartender/servers were very friendly and food and drinks were ready in almost no time. If you are sitting at the table you also get fried crispy noodles and duck sauce. For food we got the pu pu platter as something to snack on while we sipped our drinks. The platter comes with two of everything and there's about 5 different things. Presentation gets a 10 for the flaming dish. If you miss the feeling of a tropical island, Lee's can help fill the void.

I have been coming to lees Hawaiann since 1998 when I was taken here on a date with my ex Robert and I have not left since then. The staff is amazing including the hostess the bartenders and the food is awesome . The drinks and ambience is perfect you can't find exotic ethnic drinks anywhere' in New jersey. I have read reviews about the tables and time limits. Every restaurant has to do that to accommodate other patrons, that's business. Most restaurants have a 2 hour limit so I don't feel it's unreasonable especially if the patron was informed about this at the time of booking. You will not find another tiki theme restaurant in jersey of this caliber..
