Lee’s Sandwiches

Tried the Asian Pork Sandwich, it was not the best I ever had however it was pretty good. Also had the coconut smoothie, very tasty. For the quality and price, definitely would recommend this shop.

Good location! The food was fresh and delicious. The cashier working was very friendly. And there was a good variety of stuff! Just warning you, if you decide to dine in after noon, the sun will shine in from the window just because of the window the store is positioned. I wasn’t able to take better pictures of the prices because of all the glares angled in by the sun.

A quick bite, coffee and a #11. Good service fresh food!

This is the second closest location to me but it's my go to location. My family love Lee's baguettes so we tend to come here for the bread and Banh Mi rather often. Each time we've been here there is a constant flow of customers coming in. Never a line but always a flow. I like this because there's no wait but there are enough customers that you're not buying old bread that has been sitting. I genuinely can't remember the last time we didn't get hot fresh bread. I was honestly shocked to see such a low rating since my experience here has always been super positive.

It was really great to see that they have sugarcane juice available; it instantly brought back so many vivid memories of my home country.

I found a dead BEE under my sandwich right before I was about to eat my sandwich.

Their "grilled chicken" tastes like canned Costco chicken. Definitely NOT authorized Lee's meat source. Definitely not grilled. Why do restaurants end up compromising and ruining the business?

Had a birthday freebie (if you don't know) you get a free drink for your bday. Just an fyi - this location says bc it's a franchise they don't honor those offers on the lee's app. So did not get my birthday drink. They are having a promo buy a sandwich and get a drink free. It had 4 sandwiches and the free drink is either a coffee, sugar cane or Thai tea. Not a bad deal. So I got that. They do take credit card but there was a note in the pick up area that there's a 50 cent up charge for orders under $8. The bread was good as expected from lees.

This is the worst Lee's sandwiches shop I have ever been to. I ordered my sandwich and while waiting, I asked the cashier if I could use the bathroom to wash my hands. He told me they don't have a bathroom, so I asked him, well, "what do you do if you have to use the bathroom?" He replied, "I don't need to use the bathroom while I'm at work." Really??? Then, I asked, "what about the people handling the food and making the sandwiches? the law requires them to wash their hands at all times!" He just looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. Ewwww....grouse!

I bought a #21 today and was very excited to have it for my lunch at work. When I was about to enjoy it I found a dead BEE. So disgusting. Workers need better quality control. Definitely will not return to this location due to sanitary concerns.

The customer service and speed was good but as far as my order I ordered a European sandwhich and it comes with a free drink so for jt I had asked for light ice and they served me the drink but they would not fill it up all the way so that was a little disappointing but that's usually how these kind of restaurants are, stingy with the little things almost makes me feel like I'm a burden for coming to there store

I was going to initially give a lower review, my family came in and ordered and unfortunately got the wrong sandwich, but when giving the store a call they were able to help me out super quickly! Since I was able to drive over and pick up the sandwich they were super kind the gentleman even apologized letting me know he made a mistake and why it occurred and I completely understood I really appreciate the efficiency and the amazing assistance I received from him and how he was able to accommodate. Amazing staff member!

This is quite possibly the current WORST Lee's location! The service is terrible, starting with the ordering, like they don't know what they sell. I always order my sandwiches, #6 bbq pork, with extra cilantro, never have I ever had more than two stalks of cilantro, like the sandwich maker doesn't read the orders. This time my sandwich had the greasy, fatty pieces of meat that should have been trimmed off and discarded as well as no extra cilantro, just two scrawny sticks with no leaves. There's a new bahn mi place that opened in the shopping center, I'm going there from now on.

This place has been a really bad customer service. I mean no one service ,standing and waiting without any service,once nobody at the register and take the order,they keep talking at the back kitchen . Next time (couple more days),i have time,and i gave them another try,a man take an order before me,then he keep baking the bread without saying anything or tell me to wait a few minutes (if he said thay,it's ok) i don't mind. Ok wait for couple mins and nothing happened,maybe he was not able to talk,i think he doesn't need to work for that job with that attitude . Return after one year and see the cashier didn't do their job,saw the customers stand in line,they keep doing baking breads,never say hello or pls wait a minute,just leave them wait and ignore them? No one have time to stop by and ask them for free? Just keeping that sh*t and the customers will not return. This place is the worse of Lee's . End the story and of course,never return. They deserve 0 star if i could.

The service and the price were great . The boy at the front counter was very helpful and patient to take my order. I didn't get his name but it was on Friday 8/8 around 2:20 pm . Everyone should have happy employees like him.

I'm very disappointed with avocado smoothie. When I got the drink, I they the color looked a little off. It's light green. I double checked with the associate if it was avocado smoothie before I took it. It's so water down. I can't taste any avocado. It's more like vanilla drink. I paid for extra large to get a vanilla taste avocado smoothie. Won't come back for this drink. Very disappointed!

Friendly and peppy brown Asian and Latino staff, friendly brown Asian customers. Clean. Delicious baguette sandwich. All tables are clean. Floor is clean. Quickly accommodated me to switch to another sandwich since they just ran out of teriyaki sauce. Fun yet professional staff. Will visit again!

This restaurant has about 8 tables im sure according to the building code there must be a public restroom available but they blocked them with a sign that says employee restroom only I'm sure that is not legal anyway the place is hot they are too cheap to turn the AC on how do you expect to have customers come if the place is an oven. I'm thinking they are not trying to have customers dine in. Lastly the lady was putting my food to go when it was clearly I was going to dine in! Keeping the doors open doesn't help with the heat! It only caused to have flies on my food.

We had lunch here at this Lees location. My first time here, and the place was ok to us. They are not far from Disneyland. So we enjoyed the Lees Pork Sandwich, and Beef sandwich. Eggrolls are really good too. Nice staff, and store was a little short staffed. Just upset the lady didn't want to cook more eggrolls for us.

Ugh! I have never had this issue with Lee's before. I found a hair in my sandwich!!!! Yuck. Almost done with it too!!! Ugh. This has totally put me off of Lee's. This location at least. And I got an anorexic pickle too.

Went here about a week ago. No one at the register to take my order. I wait about a min. I see a guy and a girl talking in the kitchen area. The guy sees me waiting but decides to turn his back to me and continues talking. I guess the conversation was more important than customers. I use to get my sandwiches here often. Well, not any more. Customer service sucks big ass here.

I LOVE Lee's but this location is NOT great! I came here to get an iced coffee and almond croissant, the croissant was so small for being almost $4. It's less than $3 at other places. Then I tried calling in an order a different day. They open at 7, so I called at 7:01 (no answer). I figured they were just getting settled in & tried again at 7:05. The girl answered and told me to call back in 5 minutes. I told her I was on my way to work and was hoping to pick up my order on the way. Her response was that she has a long line and cannot take my order. I wasn't able to place my order and will not be back. I've never had a restaurant refuse to take my order/money.

Best grilled chicken sandwich. Fresh baked bread, hot chicken chunks, and secret mayo are the key! Beats Subway any day.

The almond croissant was really stale and small, the coffee is the same as always good, the sandwich was a bit on the small side meaning the ingredients they put inside, the service was exceptional, the ambience is always great, but for almost $16 a croissant a coffee and a small sandwich that is not worth it. I understand inflation has impacted everyone but if you are going to charge that much might as well have fresh food and a decent amount of product in them.

Lee's and I met thru Door Dash. If I don't feel like cooking, Lee's always comes to my rescue. Delivering Vanilla iced coffee and a sandwich. My favorite is the salami and cheese with extra cheese on a croissant. It comes with mustard, mayo, lettuce, pickles. onions and tomatoes. My second favorite is the teriyaki chicken with swiss cheese and bacon. It is not on the menu but you can still order it. The crossiants are huge. 1 sandwich is 2 meals for me. The Vanilla iced coffee is so good. But it's never enough. 80% ice and 20% coffee. Its strong, sweet and creamy just how I like it. Lots of choices. Thumbs up. So far my order has always been delivered quickly and no issues

I was excited for my combo sandwich BUT this location used an old bread. It's a hard bread and taste old. Very little pate' was spread. What a way to bring down Lee's reputation.

Lee's never disappoints! I stopped by to grab a coffee and sandwich, as I live near the area. It wasn't too crowded on a Sunday morning, so my order came out quickly. I got a special combo bánh mì with an unsweetened iced black coffee. The coffee was great as usual, with the right proportion of ice to balance it out. The sandwich was excellent, and I loved how they gave plenty of paté

It's a Lee's sandwich and meets expectations, and although I only came through to order some drinks I was a bit disappointed in the condition of the store. In the past when I go to Lee's, I can usually smell fresh baked bread and see all the items lined up while approaching the cashier. Unfortunately, the place was a little run down and they have handmade signs indicating items for sale, fee for credit card purchases, and no public restrooms. It is also unfortunate that this location is very close to a high school, so around 3 pm there were people walking by just to enter the store and use the restroom or loiter. In terms of items I ordered, I had the passionfruit smoothie and vietnamese iced coffee (each about $4) and they were a good size and tasted fine. In terms of food/beverage quality, this place certainly meets expectations as I didn't have any issues with my order. The parking lot is shared in a business plaza so finding a spot to park should not be an issue. Overall, I would come here if I was ever in the area and just wanted to pick up a quick sandwich or coffee, but I can also see the room for improvement in terms of restaurant presentation.

i like their sandwiches. the bread is always fresh. the one here on nagnolia in anaheim looked kind of old and empty i like the one valley blvd in san gabriel better

My son needed a savory dish to bring to a potluck he was attending with his buddies. Easy enough, we ordered 25 pork and shrimp egg rolls for 2:15pm pickup and sure enough hot and ready for us at that exact time! Great friendly service and fresh crispy Delish egg rolls that my son and his buddy devoured...Thanks Lees

I GAVE THIS PLACE A 2nd TRY - BIG MISTAKE !! 2 veggie sandwiches with avocado and 1 blended coffee $21.08... FINE . But you give me 1 1/2 slices of old wilted tomatoe LOL , A LITTLE WILTED LETTUCE AND A SMEAR OF AVOCADO LOL !?!?! ..... that explains why this LEES ON MAGNOLIA AVE IS ALWAYS EMPTY . Last month I came in for a Turkey sandwich which was even worse !! 1 slice of stinky processed Turkey and wilted veggies .... NEWS FLASH !!! CALL YOUR ACCOUNTANT NOW : 1 tomato costs less than 50c / Lettuce FOR 1 sand pennys , 1/2 a avacado .50c --- $1.20 total .... YOU served me POOP to go - so I couldn't check it til I Got home !! Sorry Lee's - our relationship is over If your name comes up in conversation I WILL POOP ALL OVER IT LIKE THE POOP YOU SERVED ME !'

We went to this location because it closes at 9pm and all the ones closer to Buena Park close at 7pm. The restaurant was very clean and they do require face masks both for guests and employees. The cashier was very friendly and pleasant. There was plexiglass around the register area and the cashier wore gloves. The dine is closed and so are the bathrooms so it's to go orders only. They have a wide variety of items. My boyfriend got a chicken baguette sandwich and a pineapple smoothie with boba. I got a ham croissant sandwich and a passion fruit smoothie with boba and my son got chicken nuggets. I paid $26.34. Everything was very delicious and the service was great. The only bummer was that I got the wrong smoothie but by then they had a line of people waiting and it was just 1 cashier by herself so I didn't want to bug her. Nonetheless, the smoothie I recieved was still very good.

Grilled pork sandwich never disappoints Along with a ice Vietnamese coffee to keep me up

First things first, they have a plexi-glass up to keep us all safe throughout this pandemic. Second, the store is super/duper clean. Third, the lady who took our order was really nice and read back our order to us to make sure it was correct. We ordered: *#11 (x2), Special Combination (Dác Biet): 5/5, the baguette was nice n crispy on the outside but soft on the inside, there was a good amount of pate that was spread throughout, the 2-3 types of meats filled the sandwich out along with the pickled carrots, daikons, cilantro and jalapeños. It was a damn good sandwich. My go-to always. (my picture of my sandwich doesn't look great per my description but trust me it was bomb.com) *Vietnamese Iced Coffee (aka crack coffee): 5/5, another one of my go-to. I am obsessed with coffee and they make it pretty damn great here. I will definitely be back here for another Lee's fix.

I've been coming here for the past year and everyone here is very friendly, I always call in a few minutes before I'm heading in there and they usually have my food/coffee ready for me. I recommend this to anyone!

I just think it would be cool if you guys can put the option to customize the breakfast croissant sandwiches on UberEats app!! Extra cheese and extra meat options would be awesome! So I forgot to add this post so I'll add to it! Came by today to get my bacon, ham, egg croissant with extra cheese and they didn't put bacon or extra cheese :( Came back in frustrated cause I drove all the way back and Edith (sorry if that's not spelled correctly) took care of me and handle the situation very professionally!! Thank you for defusing the situation and fixing someone else's mistake!! A+

This is the shittiest lees I've ever gone to drive the extra mile to a different one. I was with my dad who ordered veggie egg rolls and we were given pork and shrimp ones. I haven't eaten meat in about 7 years so I'm in for a painful rest of my day not to mention it made me almost throw up. My veggie sandwich also contained a big chunk of meat fat.

I order two sandwiches. The name of the sandwich is turkey and cheese. You'd think it would come with cheese. It did NOT. On both sandwiches... also asked for no tomatoes. They put tomatoes on it and took it off you can tell because of the tomato seeds left inside the sandwich. How do you mess up a sandwich that literally says turkey and CHEESE AND NOT PUT CHEESE.

Everything is good here in my opinion. The Anaheim location on Magnolia is the nicest one around. Consistently good bread, both baguettes and croissants. The sandwiches are put together neatly and I like how they put the onions on the side. Properly dressed with the perfect amount of mayo. Their iced coffee is perfect to me. Well creamed and sweetened, will make hair grow on your chest. The stores are usually clean and the service is efficient.

Lee is always consistent. It never fails to give you satisfaction especially when you're hungry. I like their egg rolls too. They are so delicious

Not a huge fan of their food, but the iced coffee here is so good! It really gets you going if you need that extra burst of energy , my go to when I have a long day ahead. Prices are fair and service was nice, worth checking out!

I've been to several Lee's locations, but this is by far the worst. Not only did they prepare the order for the guy that ordered after us (who happened to be Vietnamese) first, but the tomato they used on my sandwich looked nasty. Avoid this location if you can. The drive thru on Beach would be a wiser choice.

I love this place !!but something I been notice every time I been coming here !! Empleyes not wearing gloves!! And some of them not wearing face mask!! In the back when they are preparing your food!! I think wearing gloves and mask is very important!! For safety of your customers and you guys.. I also notice they aloud customers coming inside with no face mask!! Now I be taking my precaution on coming here.. I will stop for a while until I feel safe..

I went to another restaurant but it was closed so I decided to drop by this Lee's Sandwich for a quick lunch. I order banh mi special. I was quite disappointed at the quality of the bread. It wasn't fresh. It was hard and it felt like it's a day old. It definitely didn't come out of the oven. Even the meat didn't taste fresh either. When I left to throw away the trash, I saw a sign displaying showing that they sell day old bread for $1. I guess I got the day old bread instead of the fresh bread. I'm not sure if I would come back here. I hope that it's only with this Lee's location and not others.
