Given OKC's fairly decent sized Vietnamese community, it comes as no surprise there's a Lee's in their Asia District. It is definitely one of the bigger locations I've seen and they seem to have a steady crowd all the time. It's not hard to see why, they are a complete establishment from top to bottom.
The place is spacious. Since there is more room, there seems to be more snacks and selection than most other locations. There is plenty of seating for folks and the bathrooms are clean as well. There's even enough room for a Deli Manjoo stand, which might seem random but is a welcome sight for anyone who loves those mini cakes.
Speaking of food, I actually like the banh mi here, especially the house special (dac biet). My baguette was freshly baked, slathered with lots of paté, and lots of meats stuffed to the brim. I have high regard for their grilled pork (thit nuong) and combination (thit nguoi). Not particularly crazy about their meatball (xa xiu) or their vegetarian (chay) one, but no one is perfect.
What sets this Lee's apart is the fact there's so much more than banh mi. They have fried goods like spring rolls or pastries like pate so and bbq pork buns, and even ice cream. The latter has Asian flavors galore as well, such as honey dew, avocado, lychee and even durian. Combined with some deli manjoo, I am sure it'd make for an excellent dessert.
Lastly, everyone needs to try their iced coffee. This is the caphe sua da of dreams. I realize that every Lee's has this same blend, but it's just so good. Even coming here for simply that, would be worth it with every sip.
