"Though born in Athens and Santorini, this estiatorio has adapted to the vibe of Delray Beach, adding a sushi bar, DJ, bottomless brunch and late night happy hour. It serves classic Greek salads, spanakopita, saganaki, and lamb chops, along with whole branzino that’s surprisingly oversized for only $38.  Don’t miss the charred cauliflower and baklava." - Beth Landman

We cannot thank the Lefkes staff enough for making my sister’s birthday so incredibly special! As soon as we walked in we were so impressed by the aesthetic - the floral swing made for some beautiful pictures and the music was upbeat and set the vibe for the night! Sonya, the manager, set our table of 15 people together and brought a saxophone player, happy birthday sign and huge light up cake to celebrate! It was so fun and the food and drinks were incredible. The other staff members were also very friendly and our servers Steve and Nathaly were amazing and brought out gluten free options for one of our guests with dietary restrictions! Adam the bouncer was also nice enough to take a group picture of the whole crew. Would highly recommend this place!

Went for a casual dinner (shared appetizer & entree) and totally enjoyed the vibe, atmosphere and food. Fish was cooked perfectly and lemon potatoes, as well as the lemon chicken soup, was delicious. Our server Stacy was fabulous...sweet, knowledgeable and pleasant.

I went out with my beloved who is a Michelin Star trained chef and a sommelier. We were down in Florida to visit our son and his wife, and we went in there for dinner more than once. Truly, a wide assortment array of seafood that is not only fresh but truly amazing. The second time I was there I had a 180 day aged ribeye steak. Which is truly out of this world. I’ve been to the Peter Luger’s Morton’s, The Palm and a slew of other steakhouses across the country. I will definitely be going there again when I’m down in Florida. Highly recommend plus it has a social club vibe on the weekends, which was a pleasant surprise for my happy feet.

New hot spot in Delray located where the old Delray Beach Market used to be (also next to Bounce). This place is doing all the right things but I still quite can’t give them five stars yet. Every time we’ve dined here they can’t seem to light the Saganaki right, and just walk away leaving our cheese sitting in a pool of liquor. Most recently, I asked the chef to come and light it himself, which still did not light, only pouring more liquid onto our cheese. We then requested a new Saganaki and taught the staff how to light it- and finally we had flames! This was just all very odd to me dining at a Mediterranean restaurant that seems to be trying to attract party goers. All of the food was delicious, especially loved the Miso Cod, Chicken, Lamb, Lemon Potatoes and the desserts. I will return and give them another shot, but I may wait a few more months for them to work out more kinks.

Honestly, I don’t know how people are giving bad reviews on the food because the food was mouthwatering. I had lamb chops that were to die for my girlfriends had seafood options that they liked very much. Although my one friends they complain they were too many bones in the Bronzino. The appetizers we chose included meatballs, Greek pie and the spreads. Again mouthwatering and delicious. But here is where things got tricky lol they did not give enough pita bread for the spreads and the waiter charged us an additional $8 after forgetting to bring it to us till the end. The young girls at the bar are simply there for eye candy as they lacked the skills to both deliver the proper cocktail & take the order. I will say one of the owners brought an extra stool to the bar once he noticed my GF had been standing a while. If they sharpen their wait staff the restaurant could be fabulous. Also the saxophone player was great. Super vibey if it was the right crowd. But hey…it’s Florida. I forgive you.

Google
I guess this is the new Delray hotspot as it was a jammed Friday night and tough to get a table without a reservation. The atmosphere for me was underwhelming, just not a fan of fake greens & plants. Don’t get me wrong, it was nice enough, just not my style. We started with a bottle of still water for $9, followed by two glasses of a Santorini white, for $18 each, by now you might be catching onto a trend. This coming from a “money is no object for great food” person….however when you are paying top dollar for basics, that pulls at me. My wife had the Octopus & I had the black miso cod with lemon potatoes. Both dishes were good, but priced towards the “outstanding “ which they were not. Service was excellent and as long as Delray has patrons that don’t mind overspending for good food, Lefkes will do well. For me it was one and done, as I’ve had better Greek food at more reasonable prices elsewhere.

Had a great experience at Lefkes for a birthday dinner. The food was amazing, and the staff was great and very accommodating. The music was on point and gets better as the evening progresses. 👌 will definitely be returning.

Google
We absolutely LOVED Lefkes! Food, drinks, decor, service all 5 stars! The fish selection is top notch, the avgolemono soup was the best I’ve had and I’ve been to Greece. Our server Marissa was more than attentive and welcoming and Maitre’d Sonya rolled out the red carpet for us and made us feel at home. We will for sure be back. Menu highlights- Dover sole, Cod- best I’ve ever had. And they had authentic galaktoboureko- one of my favorite desserts- MUST TRY!

Yelp
Pro tip: Happy hour before 7 is a deal. Get there early & stay for the fun Friday & Saturday- opa Are: Veggie chips with tzatziki Salmon burgers Charred cauliflower regular menu Total: $32 with tip The charred cauliflower like Miznon is incredible! Salmon burgers- two minis came with tempura battered onion rings. Service was super nice.

Randi F.

Yelp
Pete was professional and service was exceptional. Our meals were served timely with enough time time between courses to see beautiful artwork and photos of Greece. Food was authentic and plated beautifully. We had the feeling we were actually in Greece. Fresh and delicious with excellent flavors and presentation was magazine perfect. " " !

Yelp
Fabulous new restaurant with great food, great vibe, and wonderful people. We had the Bronzino, Salmon, Tuna tartare, watermelon salad, horiatiki, oysters, and one other delicious salad. Wine list was great, and desserts were outstanding. Service impeccable. We will be returning soon.

Bhumi P.

Yelp
What a great new place! The food, the service, and ambiance were great! However, it does get quite loud in the evenings with the live music. I just went for dinner with a friend but saw multiple people around the restaurant celebrating and the staff bringing out signs and lights with desserts to celebrate. As a vegetarian, my options were limited but staff was very friendly and helpful in determining any modifications that can be made on items and answering questions on the ingredients for menu items.

Michelle C.

Yelp
Very nice vibe to this place with music and lighting. The noise level increases as the night gets later and after 9pm they had a live sax player going around the dining room for added entertainment. The service was friendly and rather fast. The tuna tartare on top of avocado was delicious. The seafood linguine was so tasty with a good variety of seafood. The squid ink pasta with lobster was also thoroughly enjoyed. The pistachio ice cream dessert with a lemon custard was very flavorful yet light, Will definitely be back.

Holly S.

Yelp
I had the seafood linguine and the flavor was definitely unique. The fish was fresh, but I personally didn't love the sauces taste. Nor did another friend. My husband had the pork dish and his was delicious. We got the Horiatiki Salad which is pretty basic but was good

Lynn O.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant and excellent service. I was there as the guest of two very dear friends. They really enjoyed their meals. As the only vegan, my choices were limited, but they were very accommodating and I really enjoyed all the side dishes that they prepared for me. Highly recommended!

Yelp
This is a fairly new Greek restaurant in downtown Delray Beach. It has. A very nice atmosphere. The food is delicious. Many of your favorite Greek dishes are on the menu. The prices are a little high, but very nice place to go for a special occasion. The staff is really friendly and attentive.

Paul E.

Yelp
Best Greek food w great atmosphere. It's been open for less than a year and getting better too!

Harriet M.

Yelp
I was amazed of how they reinvented this marketplace into this great restaurant. The ambience was really upscale. Two bars. Food was delicious from the moment I walked in. It was a good restaurant experience. We had the famous Greek salad.Horiatiki delicious also a order of octopus, which was excellent Bronzino large portion price very fair came with one side, the lemon potatoes delicious we also had a pork chop, which also came with one side, mushroom which were also very delicious. We also had linguine with the seafood in it again excellent quality quantity the waiter was excellent he was enthusiastic. He was knowledgeable and he came back a few times to make sure that we were happy customers. I think his name was George not sure about that but it was on my check so I'm assuming that was correct unfortunately we were too full to have dessert they give you complementary hummus and bread and olives. This is a real winning restaurant ballet parking. It's a good location off the main road of Atlantic Avenue which makes it even better. You can sit outside they have indoor outdoor seating and the bathroom was really interested in decorated instead of just a basic bathroom. Don't miss this restaurant.

Larry P.

Yelp
These guys excel at seafood. Octopus appetizer was tender with a smoky grilled flavor. Branzino was really well prepared. If you like a loud noisy place, you will like this place. I prefer quieter places so will likely not return on a weekend night at least. Service was great.

Yelp
Great environment, authentic food. Server Pete provided great service and was very knowledgeable.

Yelp
I loose Leftkes! I wish I live closer since I live in Fort Lauderdale. It is a great restaurante with delicious dishes and fun ambiance. Excellent wine by the bottle selection too!

Yelp
UNREAL!!! The staff and service are BEYOND hospitable and just purely genuine. Between Pete our incredible server who by the way is authentically Greek which was so cool! He was able to guide our dining experience with such ease and detailed attention. Highly recommend you request him as your server I know I will be! The bartenders Babe and Christina (hope I spelled that correctly) were SO friendly, accommodating and efficient, absolutely adored them. Mitch one of the managers and Alex were absolutely spectacular, checking in on the table, assisting when needed and bringing us special off menu items to try! Really made for such a unique experience. I even had the opportunity to meet Craig the head chef! We had tuna on crispy rice which was my absolute favorite a shrimp tempura roll the cucumber tomato salad The flaming cheese dip with the pita bread and lemon! My God I could eat my weight in that one! And the presentation was awesome they light it on fire at the table! the lamb chops *still drooling over those* which were seasoned and cooked to perfection the tzatziki was exquisite and we had two desserts that came highly recommended by both Mitch the manager and Pete our server the baklava which was so fresh and authentic best I've ever tried and this other cake with coconut flakes I can't remember the name but it was delicious. There was a DJ and the most amazing saxophone player that was walking through the restaurant while playing to the DJ'S music! It was SO SO good! The ambience there is so authentic and welcoming At one point they even do the traditional Greek napkin twirling / throwing and the entire staff gets involved! So fun! The music level is was also perfect not too loud not too low I was able to still have a conversation without struggling to hear which for me is huge. You can tell the staff really enjoys being there and wants you for enjoy your time. I will be back very very soon and look forward to trying more of their dishes! New favorite spot in Delray for sure!

Silvanah G.

Yelp
Came for birthday brunch. A little mix up with the orders initially but the staff made it totally right. Amazing service and management. Dessert tray was star of show! Lemon cake and pistachio cake

annabel S.

Yelp
Best salads and octopus! Big portions and really delicious, also a really great vibe! Chaz is also the best waiter!!!!!

Gary L.

Yelp
This place has lots of potential, but that's it with lousy management. The hostesses are terribly rude. They don't seat you on time and don't apologize for making you wait. Drinks take forever probably because the two bars are overcrowded. The food is fine, the fish is great, but takes way too long. We got our food 90 minutes after our reservation time. The rest doesn't matter. This was our second time here with the same experience. I'm not going back! I'm not going back! I'm not going back!!!

Nicole C.

Yelp
I was very excited to try Delray's newest restaurant. If you are looking for a lively scene there is a DJ and saxophone player. It has a lot of energy. The sax player was excellent however the music is a bit too loud....you can't hear the person next to you speak without screaming. I was waiting a few weeks after opening to let them work out the new restaurant kinks. Well after 3 weeks being opened I went on a Saturday night and it was like it was its first night opened. Staff is rude and disorganized. There is plenty of staff just no one managing and orchestrating the restaurant. Complete chaos! We were able to get a spot at the bar. We sit down and I ask for a drink menu. My friend orders a Cabernet, she received a Chardonnay. 5 minutes goes by she tells the bartender. 5 more minutes goes by and she gets her correct wine. I asked again for a drink menu. Still waiting I get an after dinner drink and dessert menu. Not wanting to wait any longer I just order an Aperol Spritz and asked for the dinner menu. We ordered the flaming cheese, SCOTTISH LANGOUSTINES, and FRESH GARLIC CLOVES CHARRED CAULIFLOWER. 15 minutes goes by and I asked for my drink. Working on it. There are many bartenders however they were not managing the bar well and there are 2 bars. Cheese comes out and they don't know who it belongs to since no one is managing the floor. It finally gets to me and my friend was coming back from the restroom. I asked if he can wait just 1 minute before lighting on fire because I see my friend walking back making her way thru the restaurant l. He said no it has to be lit now. No one has a smile on their face it's just pure rudeness. Eating the cheese and still not Aperol Spritz in sight. I ask again. Ignored. Langoustines and cauliflower arrive. Runners are asking each person if they ordered "fish". Finally we had to flag them down and say it was ours. langoustines were cooked unevenly. Some areas were mushy. Cauliflower was bland. I asked again about my drink and was told they were going to the other bar for Aperol. Still waiting and eating. Was told they were out of Aperol and the bartender walked away. Didn't ask if I wanted anything else. When I was finally finished with dinner and the plates were taken away the bartender asked if she could get me a drink. I thought this was some sort of joke? I said hmm it's a bit too late I'm finished with my dinner and do not want to spend another minute here. All around poor and rude service with subpar food.

Yelp
Went to Lefkes on a Thursday night with another couple and had a 7:00 pm reservation which was honored. The food and drinks are outstanding. Really really delicious dinner and a lively crowd...but where this restaurant falls short is the service. It's not the waitstaff's fault - our waiter was a super nice guy and tried his best but they are seriously understaffed. The noise level is also very high - we had to shout across the table to talk. We tried it twice and had a similar experience both times. That being said it was a fun night out in Del Ray but not sure we'll run to go back

Ricky D.

Yelp
I really wanted to love Lefkes especially because I was looking forward to a new Greek restaurant opening in convenient east Delray. Also, Lefkes is a nice looking restaurant with a great staff and what makes it even more likable are the welcoming vibes. However on the night we went the food was not that good and we tried quite a few items. We started with a nice bottle of Red and a sample of their dips and the wine was great but the dips were dull. I had the Astakomakaronada (whoa that's a mouthful) which is Cuttlefish ink fettuccine with Maine Lobster and it was unfortunately not good with the lobster being dry and flavorless. Another disappointing item were the Lamb Chops and these also had no flavor and were a little tough. Dessert though was excellent. Despite a not so good experience I would still go back as the restaurant is new and hopefully it will improve. Also when we went the restaurant was slammed and that might have impacted the kitchen.

Irene V.

Yelp
Good happy hour will return for dinner Drinks well made . Beautiful bathroom . Service is nice .

Cathy S.

Yelp
Was so excited to try Lefkes and the experience was utterly disappointing. Made rez for 2 for 8:45p. Arrived on time. Place was not terribly busy. Was asked to wait 5 minutes. We said no problem--we'll sit at the bar. Hostesses never bothered to come to seat us so we stayed and ordered at the bar. Waited 15 minutes to get the bartender's attention (and the bar was also not busy--the front side of the bar had only 2 guests). When we finally flagged him down, rather than asking what we wanted to drink, he gave us ONE menu and on top of the dinner menu, put the after-dinner drinks and dessert menu. When I asked for a cocktail menu, he took the after dinner menu and flung it and gave us ONE cocktail menu (we were two women). Really bad attitude. Waited a while before we were able to catch the attention of the female bartender and we ordered two Santorini Sunsets, only to be told they were out of one of the ingredients. On a Saturday night at 9:30p--that is poor planning to run out of an ingredient for your signature drink. We were then asked to move over to accommodate a couple who never ended up sitting at the bar. The bartender who asked us to move--"Jazz"-- was hands down the nicest employee in the place. We ended up ordering only a couple of appetizers since we were never seated at a table. The food was nothing special. Service was abysmal. And honestly, I wouldn't order sushi in a Greek restaurant. Stick to one thing please. I wish I had something better to say about this place other than "Jazz." Won't be back--and like one of the other reviewers said--I doubt this place will last a year. The clientele in the area have pretty high standards when it comes to food and particularly service.

Jose O.

Yelp
This place is a joke. They do not honor reservations. I arrived about 10 minutes early for my reservation and was told by the hostess that they were behind. She said come back 15 minutes after your reservation time. I said OK, went for a walk, and returned 25 minutes later. Then the hostess offered for me to speak to the manager because she still had no table. I said no thanks and canceled my reservation. This place is way too expensive to have such an unpleasant experience. There are plenty of dining options in Delray so I don't have to deal with this nonsense.

Don R.

Yelp
Nice place! Gus the waiter very nice guy!! But food was not good!! The calamari was ice cold! I ordered well done salmon, not sure what I got. It was tasteless and cold! NOT rushing back to this place that's for sure! Oh and BTW...........extremely OVERPRICED!!!! Stay away!!! Take my word for it!!

Thomas L.

Yelp
Ate with a party of 7 Christmas Eve, one was a 3 year old, I was very impressed by the menu and food! The service was great, which is not easy to come by in Florida. Best place for Greek and seafood, there is no way you won't return regularly after eating here and they do a really fun Birthday routine. Definitely an A+ for a first date place as well if you are looking to impress. It's worth every dollar they charge. They have Maine lobster in some dishes as well. Ambiance is fun, clean and fashionable.

Marina B.

Yelp
Great food, super fun atmosphere! The best time for reservations is around 830 pm. Live DJ, fun birthday shout outs. Will definitely be back!

Derick D.

Yelp
The food I ate here was second to none! I can say the same about the service, the employees did an amazing job in making me feel welcome and making sure my glass was never empty and my table was spotless. The ambiance was very laid back and relaxing especially with the dimming of the lights and light music. Highly recommend this place!

Peter S.

Yelp
Service was horrible. Waited 45 minutes for my dinner. Also came out cold.first time there last time. and the place looked very old, even though it's a new place. horrible decor.

Rozzy K.

Yelp
Our service was wonderful. The decor of the restaurant is wonderful. Two of us had sushi meals and my husband had a Greek salad with grilled shrimp added. We will be back!

Sonia P.

Yelp
Fun spot for a night out with friends or your man ! ! great food , outdoor area is amazing, best dj everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Sharon F.

Yelp
The restaurant is beautiful. The service was sooo bad. 3 people got their entrees, after waiting too long. 4th entree came out of kitchen 10 minutes later (scallops) and they were COLD! When we asked to see a manager, he bought us a round of drinks. Scallops were inedible and he did not take them off the bill. Would NEVER return there. Way overpriced too!

Jill F.

Yelp
We had a 9:30 reservation. We left at 12:30am and we never got our food. Kitchen doesn't know what they're doing. Avod this place at all cost!!

La F.

Yelp
So fun and so delicious!! Saturday night is super fun! And the food is great! I'm so shocked to see the low yelp score! Husband and I can't wait to come back! Btw- food is good per Greek standards (husband born and raised in Greece), service was super good! (I think our waiter was named Pete--he was top notch!) and the vibe was super fun!

Kevin K.

Yelp
Had reservations 830 pm . Didn't get seated til 920 pm. Reservations not respected. No respect for client. Will never return to resturant will never recommend Too many great resturants to choose from. They lost my business.

Lawrence W.

Yelp
My fiancée and I love Greek food. On that front, Lefkes succeeds extremely well. The watermelon salad and Spanakopita were delicious. We had the Bronzino which was very good except you need to be careful as it was not entirely bone free. The miso cod was excellent. A major plus was the incredible Portokalopita. Not many restaurants serve this and this was just like being in the Greek islands Where the restaurant fails dramatically is in the noise level. It was nearly impossible to have a conversation and left us with a headache by dinners end. The service was spotty but once we attracted a server he was wonderful. Once they solve the noise level problem we would happily return.

Paula H.

Yelp
This might very well be my new favorite restaurant in Delray Beach, and there is a LOT of competition for that title. However, this restaurant has it all - fresh, very well prepared and presented food, ample portions, wonderful service and very pretty ambiance. We just had our second meal there, and I am already looking forward to the third. I heard the weekends are pretty busy, so we took advantage of a relatively calm Tuesday night and thoroughly enjoyed it all. The horiatiki salad is the freshest and best I have ever had, and the salmon is perfectly prepared. Happy campers! :)

Richard F.

Yelp
This restaurant to the point, was horrible. my branzino was tasteless and my wife's chicken was inedible and sent back. The service was basically nonexistent. The ambiance was LOUD.

Tam F.

Yelp
Love this new Greek restaurant in Delray Beach! The food was beyond amazing. Everything we had from beginning to end was delicious! Our server Pete was very knowledgeable about the food, made great suggestions since it was our first time there, and he was the perfect amount of attentive to us. The ambiance was great with a DJ playing various types of music which wasn't overwhelming in terms of noise. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed.

Lois P.

Yelp
I had a great experience at Lefkes Estiatorio, just a short walk off Atlantic Avenue. The lamb chops were delicious. The table also enjoyed the branzino. Our waiter Chaz was very attentive. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Delray.

Jenny S.

Yelp
Against my better judgment, we went to Lefkes for dinner Saturday night. Besides the fact that the food was average at best, the service and atmosphere was unacceptable. There was a table of young girls that were highly intoxicated. It was to the point that the entire restaurant had taken notice of them. Not only did they vomit at the table but also the entire way to and from the bathrooms with a towel over one's face being carried. Not only did management not ask them to leave but it seemed they were encouraging them to party on. Shame on their server for over serving them and shame on management for allowing this and doing nothing! My friend asked our server for a manager and was told she was busy twice. Our server proceeded to tell us that they are short on managers and pointed out who the "assistant manager" was standing around doing nothing. We asked to speak to her and was told it was better to speak to the main manager as she "kinda does only office stuff"... she looked like she wasnt even old enough to be a hostess let alone take control of the severity of the situation. I guess Lefkes is getting what they paid for, if only we got what we paid for...

Alice S.

Yelp
Food was great. Bread, hummus, olives, salad fish all amazing. Bartender was Awful. She could not do more than one thing at a time. No bev. nap, no offer a glass for husbands beer, had to ask for him to get a second beer after she passed his empty beer 4 times, no water. Finally asked after my empty tequila on rocks for a glass of water please. We sat for a half hour after ordering, husband got his oysters and I had ordered a salad, cheese on side, while I waited for salad, while husband had his oysters and. Then another 15 mins or more no salad and still no bread after others who just arrived got bread, olives and hummus. Starving and sad. Finally , just asked the bus girl passing by if I can get some bread while we wait for our meal. She was so sweet and said, absolutely, brought bread, hummus and olives, which was outstanding and made me so happy. Our bartender, still clueless. When we arrived there was only one person at bar. We arrived at 5:30 on a Tuesday. Anyway, salad came out with cheese mixed in. Unfortunately, we sent it back to ask for cheese on the side, as it should have been if it was put in correctly, and another came out in a short while which was perfect and delicious! The fish and lemon potatoes were also outstanding. Broccoli rabe was not good. Needs to be blanched. It was bitter and tough. 95 percent of food was outstanding, bartender could not walk and chew him at the same time. She was pleasant, but not attentive and needs a ton of restaurant training. Been in this business, since I was a teen and now 63 years old. I will be back, because food was amazing. I will sit a table, no matter what. Thank you for a great meal.

Yelp
We, a party of 7 arrived at 6 pm, Lefkes is listed as fine dining, but it appears you can go in shorts and a t-shirt. We were all looking forward to a fine dining experience in the true classic sense of the word . We were seated by a less than gracious hostess, table are so close together that it is was difficult to navigate a clear path to our table. Seated our waiter was very attentive and at this point we could hear what he was saying . We order drinks appetizers, grilled octopus/ tough and lacked any real flavor , Definitely not marinaded . Spanikopita was served cold , but might have been really good if was hot. The noise/music is also rising making if difficult to hear our waiter or have a conversation. For the main course our table ordered the chicken was good/diver scallops good , mushrooms risotto ok , moussaka just ok , lemon potaoes and the Greek salad were the best of the items we had . Now the noise/ music is also rising . I can't imagine going with a date and having a conversation.. Desserts, Baklava good, orange cake delicious, custard very bland. Again our waiter was attentive, but the food at best is average, this is not fine dining . i live in the area and we all agree we would rather drive to Greek Islands Taverna on the Galt Ocean Mile it's not fine dining and doesnt pretend to be but damn is every dish delicious and you can actually enjoy the people you came to dinner with . Our party of 7 will not returning , it was a disappointment, not fine dining .
