Left Bank is a cozy South Park basement vibe spot serving funky natural wines with a record player and laid-back community feel.
"Imagine that you’re hanging out in your friends’ not-completely-renovated basement, playing around with their record player—but instead of drinking whatever beers they happen to have left in the fridge, you’re sipping some natural wine in South Park. This is Left Bank, and it’s the definition of a neighborhood spot. You don’t have to choose between a down-to-earth bartender (who still knows his sh*t), BYO vinyl Tuesdays, and a chill space to shoot the breeze and eat some takeout with your glass of Slovenian white—you can have all of the above. "Left Bank is the best place to drink natural wine in Seattle. The space feels like your super chill friend’s basement that’s filled with sofa cushions, dangling lightbulbs, a record player, and a ton of reasonably-priced wine bottles hanging on the wall for sale. Anything they pour is funky, interesting, and comes with a fun description from the friendly owner. If you’re sick of drinking the same Columbia Valley pinots and want to sit back with a glass of something unfiltered, orange, or both, make this your new home. Especially if you bring in a double cheeseburger from Loretta’s Northwesterner to pair with that piquette from the Finger Lakes." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley
"Left Bank is another wine bar, but aside from the low noise level, it couldn’t be more different than Le Caviste. It’s kind of like what would happen if Jack Black’s character from School Of Rock opened a chill wine hangout—there are vinyl records playing in the background, wines that are equally as inexpensive as they are interesting, and you can bring in your own food (for that, we highly suggest a double cheeseburger from Loretta's Northwesterner to pair with your Slovenian red blend)." - aimee rizzo
"You can find both natural wine and vinyl records at Left Bank, a chill wine bar in South Park that exclusively pours natural bottles. It feels like a basement (in the best way), and we could spend hours hanging out here playing roulette with the interesting bottles sourced anywhere from Slovenia to Long Island. They don’t serve food, but you’re encouraged to bring in a burger from Loretta’s Northwesterner across the street." - Aimee Rizzo
"Left Bank in South Park is a small wine bar that looks like your friend’s chill basement lounge. They have a record player, a sofa, and a tiny bar where you can chat up the bartender while he pours you a glass of some inexpensive Slovenian red. Bring in burgers from Loretta’s across the street to have with your wine and hip hop records, and there’s no way anyone would bolt for Napa after that." - aimee rizzo
