Lefty's Cheesesteaks

Tried their Philly chees steak. As good as any, you can get in a deli in Jersey or NYC, as well as Philadelphia. James, the manager, helped us because this was out 1st time at a Leftys. The staff was friendly & helpful.

I'm a big burger fan and seeing this place was a delight I went there for my birthday and I'm going to say it I freaking loved the burgers! Got a double and it was fire not gonna lie it was juicy cooked well and up to my standards for burgers. The fries were seasoned a little peppery which I don't usually go for but I enjoyed all the same the service was nice as well the employees there were all super nice, brought the food out directly and were overall enjoy, and James still works there he was a pretty cool guy who also worked there when it was a leftys. Overall the food was banger service was great and the price was reasonable I'm a keep it 100 I rate it a 10 out of 10 I freaking love ne a good burger place

Gave it a try today since the ads say it suppose to be better or competition for 5 guys. Ill tell you it is not anywhere near the quality or realm of 5 guys. You might as-well spend the same money at McDonald's. You know those burgers you take one bite of and know its going to make you sick out of both ends? This is that burger. The burger is very low quality beef, its heavily seasoned in attempts to mask the low quality. The fries have about 7 different seasonings on them, while not horrible its so overpowering.

Seen all the beautiful pics and decent reviews so I figured it would be good...boy I was dead wrong. $32 bucks for a soggy cheesesteak sandwich and a side of fries. So, I ordered delivery, it got here super fast via doordash. So no complaints there and they weren't the cause of issues with food. I asked for "plenty" of ketchup for a full side of fries-they sent 4 tiny packets that contained a tablespoon combined at most! REALLY?! that being said, fries were crispy and hot with good flavor. The cheesesteak on the other hand doesn't even classify as a gas station sandwich let alone from an actual "cheesesteak" restaurant. This is supposed to be your flagship sandwich, hence the name... cheesesteak! So I ordered mine with extra cheese and mushrooms.... DEFINITELY not any extra cheese...hell, barely any cheese on it for that matter, and the mushrooms??? Ya, what mushrooms....maybe 4 to 8 tiny pieces on the whole sandwich! Oh wait...sandwich is too good of a word for this disappointment. Soggy Sub, ya that's closer, SOGGY!!! LIMP! POOR EXCUSE of a sogwhich! Now if I only paid like 3 bucks I'd have no room to complain. But this disaster cost just under $32, I expect to get what I paid for. I definitely DO NOT recommend unless you enjoy throwing away your hard earned money.

Ordered delivery from their GC, Crypto Grill, and it was great! The brisket loaded waffle fries were a decadent meal by themselves, and the superman cheesecake was a great reminder of Detroit flavors having been out of the city for a few years before the visit during which I ordered. Great food delivered hot and fresh, and reasonable prices!

I loveee this place. Me and my husband went there this past weekend . First time in Detroit and heard about this place. I’m addicted to there lemon pepper wings. They was amazing. I literally ate a 12 ct lemon pepper, Thursday, Friday and Saturday for lunch. My husband had there Steak and cheese and he loved it. I tasted his and it was good and the fries. Would def recommend this place. Good service and very nice customer service. I’ll be back when I visit again.

Subs are always fresh and prepared to order. Store is clean and well maintained. My husband says it's the closest thing to going to Philly for a cheesesteak.
