Legado Alcazar Hotel

If you are staying in Sevilla and not here, then you are staying in the wrong place. The location is perfect: It is around the corner from the entrance to the Alcazar, a few blocks from the Cathedral, and several excellent tapa restaurants are only a few blocks away (make reservations in advance).|Most importantly, the room a/c is excellent. You can cool the room within minutes if the a/c was off when you arrived. |The staff is energetic, friendly, helpful, and can give you advice on restaurants, sights, etc. The breakfast is limited in choices, but adequate in amount. Each is served individually, rather than a buffet. |Beds were good and firm, which we like. We took the two rooms with the patios, which literally sit atop the Alcazar wall, where we could sit and watch the peacocks, doves, and occasional parrot within the Alcazar grounds.

This hotel is a gem. Have been my choice the last three times in Sevilla in as many years. Its condition is impeccable, clean and as new in every sense of the word. Rooms are spacious and bright. Every comfort is there. Full off details! Said all that, it is the staff that makes this place unique to me. Attentive, warm and always going the extra mile to please. I’ll continue using it as my go to place whenever in Sevilla

I had a fantastic stay at the Legado Alcazar Hotel. The location is as central as I can possibly imagine -- so close to all the places that tourists want to see in Sevilla. It's at the end of a little street, so there is basically no traffic noise at all. (Though you CAN enjoy the romantic sounds of the Giralda bells ringing in the distance. ; - ) The room was clean, spacious and very practical for getting work done. But most important, all of the staff were friendly, helpful, and very professional. They gave me excellent tips on how to best enjoy Seville, taking into account my goals and preferences. The location couldn’t be better—just steps from the cathedral and the Alcázar—but still tucked away at the end of a little alley, so it feels quiet and secluded. The hotel itself is very clean, and everyone we met was super friendly. Though our room was on the smaller side, it was comfortable and had everything we needed. There was a bit of a stale smell when we first walked in, but opening the window for a while took care of it. We didn’t try the breakfast; we did stop by for the afternoon teatime, which was a nice touch. They had tea, coffee, small sandwiches, nuts, fruit—plenty of little snacks. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Legado Alcázar Hotel to anyone visiting Seville.

The hotel delivers a perfect blend of Seville’s history & comfort. Rooms are thoughtfully designed, excellent beds & spotless bathrooms.|Staff are warm, very professional & always eager to help to make your stay special. This is an outstanding choice for a memorable stay.

This small boutique hotel is truly in the heart of everything. We walked everywhere, lots of eateries and stores nearby. I had asked for a room on a high floor in a quiet location, and was disappointed when given a room on the ground floor across from the breakfast area. My request was made well over two months ago, so I thought it would be granted. I have never stayed in a hotel that could not grant that request, even when full. The front desk staff knows how to put aside rooms for that purpose. Other than being awakened and having noise over our heads as well, the room was very clean and the bed comfortable. I can appreciate the historic aspect of the hotel, the Alcazar wall being in our room. They charged us in dollars instead of euros, but luckily, we caught it on our credit card bill before we left the hotel and had them change it. All in all, a very pleasant day and the staff were very helpful.

We stayed 3 nights at Legado Alcazar in Seville end of September 2025. Overall, comfortable good stay but overpriced. The hotel has a riad-style design (a Moorish influence). Rated 4 stars but only a 3 by US standard. ||Scale 1-5 with 5 being highest & best:||Location—5|Easy walk to the historic sights of Seville. Plenty of stores & restaurants around. A few steps to the entrance of the Alcazar. Tucked away in a quiet corner street but right in the center of it all. ||Room—3|Superior double room was small. European hotel rooms are usually very small anyway. ||Bathroom—5|Bright, good lighting & modern. Good shower with strong water pressure. ||Price—2|Overpriced for what you get. ||Breakfast—5|Plated breakfast instead of buffet but all enjoyable and good. Service was excellent. Very small dining room but cozy. ||Service—5|Front desk was great. Good & very helpful staff. We just ask them for anything we need like soap, etc. ||Housekeeping—5|No complaints. ||Amenities—3|No iron & ironing board. No table to put your luggages on so we used the floor. There is a safe, hair dryer, good shampoo & hair conditioner & air conditioning.||Comfort Level—4|Wish the room is bigger & had more amenities but after we settled in, we grew to like this small hotel.

I loved the location of this hotel (very close to the gardens and cathedral) and it was tucked away at end of street so very peaceful and quiet. The staff were very helpful and kind assisting me as my Spanish is not great. I will stay here again as the price was reasonable and rooms were large and clean. The breakfast was incredible!!!
