Legend Deli

Small deli off King Street in downtown Charleston. Great sandwich combinations…legendary some might say ;-). Although several peaked my interest I couldn’t resist trying the GOAT, a cold sandwhich with peppermill turkey, whipped goat cheese, onion jam, roasted red pepper mayo, arugula on sourdough bread. It did not disappoint. Great variety of flavors in each bite. Served grilled, bread was extra crunchy but a little too greasy buttery for me…but dont get me wrong, I ate every last bit and licked every finger when done. Staff was very friendly. Indoor seating available at tables and counter seating at windows. Will definitely be back!

Had lunch at this chill deli and ordered the Jimmy Pesto Wrap, really tasty! We’re pesto fans, and this one didn’t disappoint. Nice quality meat and fresh ingredients made it a solid, satisfying lunch. Great drink selection too, including beer. Laid-back vibe and definitely worth a stop if you’re nearby.

WOW, top 3 sandwiches I’ve had in my life. This place doesn’t even need my review with how much 5 star feedback they have. Service was quick even with a line out the door. Get the G.O.A.T.

Legend Deli is an awesome spot for a quick, satisfying lunch. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—they recommended the G.O.A.T.,and wow, it was absolutely superb. The food quality is top-notch, and the sandwiches are super innovative with bold, unexpected flavors that really work. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and want something delicious without the wait!

If you like meat, you will love this place. For vegetarians, options are limited (I got the “Sweet baby Jesus” and it was indeed sweet: a sweet potato based sandwich). For kids, you can get bagels many ways. The service is great and the location is also great. A special stop while in Charleston!

GF burger bun, GF wraps , and smash burgers to die for.. Delicious. In 1 word. Also the owner( I believe) was awesome. Let us try his GF potato salad for the 3 of us for free, and let me tell you, it's excellent. He was also very personable.

Sandwiches, delicious. Staff, friendly. Cleanliness, quality!! He even wiped down our table before we ate. Each sandwich is based on a movie. They have a good selection of juice and soda as well!

The sandwich was really delicious and the atmosphere was great. I ordered the OG Swiss Cheese sandwich on sourdough bread. ❤️
