Great place for retro feel and old fashioned burgers with fries. Delicious milk shakes and variety of condiments make this place a great nostalgic place to visit! Highly recommended. This place even has a juke box that works!

Legends Tavern & Grille in Pompano Beach seriously impressed us from start to finish! We came with a group and started with four appetizers — the Legendary Wings (perfectly crispy and sauced just right), the Loaded Nachos stacked high with toppings, the Fried Pickles with that addictive crunch, and the Buffalo Chicken Dip, which disappeared fast because it was THAT good. Every appetizer came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. For our entrées, we ordered six different meals, and not a single one disappointed. Highlights included the LTG Classic Burger, juicy and cooked exactly how we asked; the Mahi Tacos, super fresh with amazing seasoning; the Chicken Caesar Wrap, packed and flavorful; the Philly Cheesesteak, gooey and delicious; the Cajun Pasta, which had the perfect kick; and the Fish & Chips, golden and flaky. It’s rare for a group this size to all love their meals — but Legends pulled it off flawlessly. The staff was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, quick with refills, and genuinely welcoming, they made the entire experience even better. You can tell the team here really cares about customer service and takes pride in their work. If you’re in Pompano Beach and want great food, great service, and a lively atmosphere, Legends Tavern & Grille is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back! 🍔🍺🔥

I shouldn’t be telling other people about this, but it’s the best burger special on Monday nights in town. The legendary burger is not only super cheap. It’s unbelievably delicious.

Stopped in at noon on a Saturday. Families with kids at this hour. Fast service, my husband didn't have to wait for a beer. This spot exceeded my food expectations. I expected soggy fries and a greasy burger. But the fries were cooked well and not a drop off grease on my plate. Had to take the rest home

Nick was our waiter? This young man has so much patience smiled doing the whole time of serving us in three other tables. he did an awesome job. The bartender got my drink wrong and when I heard Nick replied what I received, he went back and changed it for me no problems who came out disgustingly delicious! 🤣♥️ We went to the one in Pompano. I see some of the reviews and I’m not so sure everybody’s experience a different than others, but I want to check out the one in Sunrise in Deerfield as well. Nick was our server. It was my first time there. The BEST EXPERIENCE by Nick. He was so cool. Explained everything. Was super good. The food was AMAZING. No problems or issues. I am happy with my experience and food. I will be coming back.

I really don't see what people really like about the food here, but it is terrible. First time at Legends, we ordered 2 burgers and they were not good. I asked for cheder cheese and they used cheap shredded cheese that was not even half way melted. It was the same cheese on taco bell tacos. The bun seems homemade, but it was very thick. I had to cut the bun sideways in half because it was way too much bread. The "secret sauce" wasn't very good at all and tasted like Dejon mustard and mayo mixed together. It is no surprise that the fries are just simply Oreida Fries from the grocery store! NOTHING SPECIAL! You can make them better at home. We ordered the Tacos and they were worse than the burgers. I came to visit from Los Angeles, California it is very hard to find a good burger in Florida. Legends needs to hire a chef consultant to rethink what tasty sports bar food should look like. Hire the same restaurant consultant from The Yard House in Southern California and just copy the menu and Legends will be hit. We had high hopes but very disappointed with the lackluster food.

The server and bartender were sweet but busy. The more interesting part of the night was the wasted old blonde woman sitting outside with the Doberman Pincher. The dog kept coming into the restaurant off its leash. Super scary with fresh food and patrons. She was loud and mouthy and not to mention lifted her shirt up to show her money makers. My back was to her but my poor brother witnessed it all while sitting next to his wife. Luckily the family with the little boy was on the other side of the bar. The staff finally got her to leave but wooof. That was a wild experience

Good casual spot with indoor & outdoor seating and lots of tvs. The menu has a variety of burgers, sandwiches & salads to choose from. The burgers & fries are tasty although the bun is huge! This time i opted for the chimichurri bowl with grilled shrimp it didn't disappoint. The service is fast and friendly.

Legends is a rather typical sports bar with a food number of flat screens. It's a popular franchise chain and can get packed, but it doesn't have that chain-like atmosphere about it. On game nights the crowd gets loud but not too rowdy. The indoor seating is spacious and comfortable. It's also clean and has outdoor umbrella patio seating which is very nice. It has a full bar with a good number of beer choices, being foreign, domestic, and craft. It also has a decent menu with a chimichurri flat iron steak and bourbon-glazed salmon. But for the most part, typical substandard bar food such as their rather fake Chicago-style hot dog made with a Nathan's dog rather than with a Vienna, no neon relish or proper Vienna poppyseed bun. The menu lists celery salt as an ingredient, but I sure didn't note any. When it comes to actual Chicago Style those at Legends are merely cheap shabby fakes. Sorry to sound like a nitpicker, but when I order Chicago style, I expect Chicago style. My partner had Buffalo style wings, which were merely OK, nothing special. For a sports bar, Legends is about the same as the rest.

I had a really tasty Blackened Mahi Sandwich! The friendly server was prompt and attentive. I sat on the outside covered patio. It was great for watching the people who couldn't bear to leave their dogs at home while dining out on a Friday night. Can you tell I'm not a pet owner? LOL! It's all good. If you haven't been to Legends, now is the perfect time to check it out!

I really love this place- just a really cute and cozy local grille with great food and good specials. My favorite part is the outdoor patio. We came here once when it was raining, and they put the rain covers down quickly - it was just so cozy and chill. They have flavored vegetarian chicken wings which is my favorite part- any place that has a plant based protein other than a bean burger is doing great, but the elevate it and have so many flavor options. From lemon pepper, to hot, to Buffalo, there are a lot to chose from!

Super cute to eat outside if you have a pup. Friendly staff. Food is pretty basic but it's good. I'm sure I'll be back again.

One star is EXTREMELY generous! This place is HORRIBLE! Food is absolutely not edible, the wings were soaked in grease! Burger was super salty! The service is snail pace slow and it was like the inside of a deep freezer in there! Like seriously FREEZING!!! I ordered soup because it was soooo cold inside the restaurant! Just an overall YUCKY experience!

LEGENDS GOOD: Friendly service and a large, "cool" dining floor - with large bar and outdoor seating BAD - The food, just okay, barely okay Legends will wow you with their friendly service and large "hip" dining. Where they fall flat is food. My burger bun disintegrated as soon as sauce and grease touch it. It was very thin and generic. The bbq sauce was like liquid sugar - over powered the burger. And beyond that, we both had to season the burger with heavy salt and pepper. I wanted to like this place but the food has to SCORE for these jacked post covid prices. Make sure you take home your plastic soda cup, they charge 3.99 for fountain soda.

What a great hidden little dinner spot! I went there at night with a friend and the ambience was perfect. We sat outside and was quickly served by our waitress. Everything on the menu looked mouthwatering, but I decided to order the salmon bowl. It was honestly so fantastic and a was a way bigger portion than I thought it would've been. My friend ordered the shrimp Poboy, and he was not disappointed either. This is a great spot to hang out with friends to have a drink or order some food.

I'm sorry to give a restaurant a bad review, but I was so disappointed in my dish, that I had to. I ordered fish & chips, which is a dish I have ordered in other restaurants. When it arrived, it was basically a boatload of fries and these two small logs that looked like they came out of a Mrs. Paul's frozen fish stick package. I said something to the waitress, and she just acknowledged it and said she would tell someone, maybe the chef or manager, but no offer for something else or any outcome as a result. The fries tasted a little stale and the fish, dry. I do have to say that they were busy that day (there was a Dolphin's game playing), and my two friends were happy with their dishes. However, I did not enjoy my meal. In addition, they changed their menu. I used to like to order the falafel wrap with sweet potato fries. They have neither on the menu.

If there is one thing I can appreciate about Legend's is that they are very consistent! On my most recent trip, I experienced a lot more of their menu. I tried an appetizer and of course had to get a cocktail. I can't talk about enough how much I enjoyed the fish dip. I didn't want to stop eating it. The margarita was pretty on point too. I was definitely full before I even had my main course, but I never skip the chance for chocolate chocolate cake which was from one of my favorite bakeries. Great for groups of watching the game!

We have been here several times. You have the option of sitting inside or out which is a nice touch. The food is always good. The French dip was great and I loved the shoe string fries. The only down fall was that when we sat at the bar, the bar tender did not clean our spots before we sat down. We had to deal with a sticky bar top and left over straw wrappers. (The bar tender herself was pleasant enough and did keep an eye on our drinks. Which was a plus.)

Good food... we had lunch at the bar and swapped our fav apps with each other at the bar! Loved it!!!! Had the lunch burger and it came out perfect! I had never eaten at this location so I didn't know what to expect. Service was great! Lots of outdoor seating under a canopy to stay cool. Great lunch!

First time here and will definitely go back! Me and my coworker went during lunch time! Do order off the lunch menu you need to get a drink (not water) We both ordered the grilled chicken sandwich off the lunch menu with fries. It was good! Both enjoyed the lunch! I can see why people say in their reviews the bread is dry. I did notice that, but it wasn't too bad. Can't wait to try something different next time!

The service was quite lovely, our lady was very swift and quick with our orders and making sure we were squared away. The food however was some of the best I've had so far down here in Florida, I had the fish and chips with pink lemonade and let me tell you that thing was cooked to perfection. 10s all around!!

Went for their Happy Hour and had great nachos and quesadillas at half price. Filling. Delicious. Great ambiance Specials good at any Legends M-F. 4-7pm. Happy hour times.

Visited Legends Tavern & Grille with a few friends after work to grab a few beers. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and they offer indoor and outdoor seating. The have a few TV behind the bar fir those interested in catching a game. I got a little hungry and ordered a burger with avocado and fries. It was a great burger and the fries were nice and crispy. If you are in the area looking for a place to grab a bite and a fe beers, Legends Tavern & Grille is a great choice.

Always wanted to try a Legends Tavern and this one opened up in Pompano Beach, so we stopped for lunch yesterday. It had a really nice outdoor patio (1 with a cover/roof & other with tables with umbrellas over them. We ordered off their lunch menu and got the Legends Burger for $9.99 with a choice of shoestring French fries or coleslaw. My sister and I both ordered cheddar cheese (you have a choice of cheeses) and amazing cheddar cheese on a Brioche bun... it was best burger we've had in a really long time. Burger was BIG & JUICY, COOKED PERFECTLY TOO! Each of us ordered one of the sides, so we got to try fries and coleslaw; we loved them both! Everything came out hot and was so delicious! Best of all, they did NOT HAVE MSG IN THEM! I react badly to MSG and so many restaurants put it in their foods! Legends is a sports bar, so they had lots of TVs both inside and outside on patio to watch! We will definitely go back again!!! Sorry No Photos this time as we were starving and I never thought to take any because I was too busy enjoying my meal!

Great place to watch a sports event, great chicken chili, great big burgers and dogs. Staff if friendly and fun. I highly recommend giving them a try if you are mostly used to Duffys and the like. Much better than those other places, not so dark as their TVs are newer 4K HD, not projectors like others. Go check it out if you've never been.

Safe to say I'm not the first to say this joint is LEGEN... wait for it... DARY! But it was. This location doesn't seem like it's part of a chain restaurant, but it is according to the website. This spot is a little on the small size, but we enjoyed a high top table outside on the artificial turf in the shade. Enough about that, let's get down to the nitty gritty- the food! They have a $6 hot dog special on Thursdays, which most places would serve a plain dog and up charge for every ingredient... NOT HERE! All four of the hot dogs on their menu were priced at $6 after 5:00 so i did what any sane person would do and ordered all of them! I was eating so many dogs, my kids had to slap me when they saw me eyeing up the adorable shitzu pups at the table next to us. BTW, pro tip, it's dog friendly outside! So are the dogs worth it? $6? HECKYEAH. $12? SAMEZIES. I've paid almost $20 for the same portion and quality in Maryland and now I'm questioning everything. Since my #lovelanguage is quality food at amazing prices, let me tell you that they have $4 draft pints of a summer ale that's fantastic and light. Enjoy two with your meal. Our waitress, Reagan, was friendly and helpful (and totally didn't judge my eating decisions). The food came quickly. The bus boy did his thang and took care of the table as well. Kudos to a well-run establishment that impressed our touristy family during our time in Fort Lauderdale.

This is a nice place to hangout and have a few beers and appetizers with friends. I came here this time on a Friday night for the seafood platter special I had a large size piece of cod with lots of shrimp and hush puppies. It was very tasty and went well with a couple beers.

Specialize in serving drunks and mentally ill patients so they walk out and get killed in front of the place and then has no insurance and doesn't respond to lawyers, letters and loses fault judgments in court . Ask the manager a number of times not to overserved him because he was drunk and dying of cirrhosis of the liver.

This was a carry out order and I was a little disappointed. The shoestring fries are amazing. They were nicely salted and had the perfect crunch. The star of the show (the burger) was very dry and tough. Didn't care much for the special sauce.

Wow! What a gem this place is. Was looking for a great place to have a burger. I didn't come here last week and drove by after thinking I should have stopped. Today, I made it a point to stop. Many people would think "bar" and thing rowdy, extra noisy, not good food, or smoking, non-clean. Well, that's what I have been told when asked about a bar experience. Legends Tavern & Grill did not disappoint! The staff was friendly, the food delicious, the atmosphere is perfect. Mathew was my server and he did an excellent job. He was very kind and made great recommendations. The burger was cooked great. The bbq pulled pork on top was out of this world. Some of the best flavor I've ever tasted for a BBQ Pork. It complimented the burger well. The French fries were served hot, and cooked perfectly. The iced tea is brewed fresh and was also delicious. Mathew even gave me the cup to go. I highly recommend this location and encourage everyone to try. It's perfect! I know for sure I will be back.

Legends is consistently disappointing on too many different occasions. - asked for no nuts +3 times, nuts on the meal - ask for one thing receive a different item - hair in food - on one occasion had a 2 hour lunch due to poor service Good for drinks but don't expect anything special.

Ithe habanero mango chicken wings were amazing as well as the pork belly w wonton ... it's fun although the place was not that busy, it seems they need to find another sever. One person was not enough for the whole restaurant.

Went there today to watch the Bears season opener game, three outside TVs were set with two showing the dolphins game. Asked the manager to put the Bears game on one and he refused, said he had to have the Dolphins game on two TVs...they were side by side...left and went to Hooters...

So we decided to grab lunch at Legends in Pompano on Saturday which was the best decision ever! We arrived and the restaurant is super cute. I love the outdoor seating area and there's an outdoor/indoor bar. We were quickly greeted by a lovely waitress and she showed us to an outside table. We decided to grab a vodka cocktail and a spritz. After we got our drinks which were very refreshing and delicious. We decided to get the Bangin Shrimp appetizer. That came out quickly and was really good!! The shrimp had a Cajun sauce which had a bite to it aka spicy! After that we decided to order the bacon bleu burger and the fish and chips. We loved how everything tasted so fresh. The waitress was very attentive and nice. The weather outside was beautiful and we couldn't have picked a better time to come here. We will definitely be back and highly suggest this place.

Legends is a great sports bar! I love the relatively bright lighting and the fact that it's open to the outside; I am not a fan of sitting in a dark bar watching sports. My husband enjoyed his wings, and I really enjoyed the hummus platter. Our bartender was friendly and attentive, so we will definitely be back for football season!

I had been dying to try this place and since our good friends moved to Pompano and super close by, we knew we'd get a shot soon. So we came one night after being out with them all day. Arrived like idiots on a Saturday night thinking we'd get a table right away in the current state of the hospitality world but got sat about 10 min later since it was late and people seemed to be leaving. Immediately locked on to the French onion soup which I got and loved. The one reason I wanted to come here was the burgers because I still have yet to find a simple burger that I love. Got a cheeseburger with mushrooms and I wasn't super stoked about it, maybe I overhyped it to myself but it was mostly just a mess. I wasn't too thrilled about the crowd, which is odd because I usually love a local Pompano crowd, they always remind me of how Coral Springs was growing up, I want to give them another shot, and I'm sure we will!

Meeting a friend for a quick lunch before we head out for a bike ride. She loves the salads at Legends - so we said - sure. Rick had the house salad with shrimp and honey mustard dressing. Hard to go wrong there. Marion had the Cobb Salad - again - hard to go wrong. I was feeling the need for some beef - so I chose the creamy brie and bacon burger. The flavor of the brie and the bacon blended nicely with the burger. But - I ordered medium rare - and the burger was medium. And - they added lettuce and tomato to the burger - which didn't really blend with the brie - at least for my taste buds. It's a decent enough place - and if I lived nearby - I would probably stop in again - but I'm not making a special trip.

I stopped by for lunch with some coworkers. We started with the corn nuggets. I thought they were good but nothing to brag about. For lunch, I had the California Cobb salad. The salad was HUGE. A lot of eggs, tomatoes , avocado, and blue cheese. The salad had so much flavor that I barely needed any dressing. It was absolutely delicious and very affordable. My coworker had the Mahi Mahi sandwich which was also a very large portion. He said it was very good. Overall, I really like the atmosphere at Legends. I would definitely come back for dinner and cocktails. The outdoor patio seems like a really fun time!

In one of those rare occasions my kids want to come with when we eat out, I have to pick somewhere we can all get something we like. It is usually American food i.e. burgers, wings etc.. We picked Legends because it is close to where I had to pick up one of my kids. We have been to their location in Oakland Park and have liked their food. The place is very pretty, it has a really nice outside area. The inside it's not too big, but the tables are well spaced out, it also has a really cool mural that is the center piece of the place. The menu isn't very extensive though, which I find a little strange for a place such as this. I wasn't expecting cheesecake factory type menu, but certainly a few more choices. I ended up getting a chicken sandwich which was good. Both my kids got some type of cheeseburgers which they seem to like. My husband however ordered a cheeseburger that came with caramelized onions, he specifically requested no onions because he's allergic (he didn't mention it) and they brought it with onions. When he pointed it out they took it back and brought it out right away. He had to ask whether they had cooked a new one or just taken the onions out. The waitress was at least honest and told him that's what they did. This is when he told them he is allergic I keep telling my husband that he needs to let people know but he doesn't see the need to keep announcing it. It isn't life-threatening just bothersome. At this point she took it back and the manager came out and apologized profusely. other than that hiccup service was good. I ordered a pear martini which sounded pretty interesting to me but I didn't really care for it much, they do have other cocktails oh I may try. I would most definitely come back to this place. It is close to my husband's work and what I had was good, and after my husband received his burger without the onions, he really liked it as well. Their french fries were very good.

Food for thought for the managers and owners of LTG. We frequently go to LTG's in Pompano. They have a great vibe atmosphere with outdoor & indoor dinning, good service, and the food has always been above average for a bar and grill. We are normally treated very friendly as they see us often. To today, I felt they failed miserably with a poor decision which just may have cost them a local regular. I went up there to place two orders for their Ruben special and some fries "TO GO," for lunch after 1:00 PM. I just returned from a three day 1,200 mile trip. I just wanted some St Pat lunch without all the noise and people. I was told by the guy (think his name is Matt) behind the "TO GO" sign at the bar that I could not order the St. Pats special Ruben for dine out. I'm not sure what the difference of dine-in verses dine-out on the bottom line profit, as I don't normally drink alcohol anyways. Yes, I get it, it's St Pats and they are busy. I would not normally jump on YELP, but I'm tired and disappointed that our "GO TO" restaurant let me down Please enjoy today's profits, as tomorrow's regulars may not be back. Not Cool LTG

I am pleasantly surprised at how great the experience was here. It was very loud inside during March madness, very busy but our service was super fast! The food was amazing. We got a burger & fries, and wings. The burger was literal perfection. I am still thinking of it. The wings were really good too. The "hot" sauce wasn't very spicy.

Wow! The best bar food ever. Everything was delicious. Had two apps, the banging shrimp and fried mozzarella sticks with homemade marinara. The shrimp were so tender and fresh. Wasn't to hot on the spice level but very tasty. The fried cheese sticks were flavorful and cheese was gooey. The Marinara sauce is made in house and is very tasty. Wings are a must! We had the lemon pepper and hot Buffalo and they were both tasty. The wings were a good size and definitely not frozen. The only complaint is that their "hot" Buffalo isn't hot at all IMO. More like mild but the wings were flavorful just not hot. Lemon pepper wings were on point! We ordered a 2nd order of 8 wings because they were just that good. I personally ordered a patty melt and that was almost perfect. My only complaint is that I like my bread grilled and this was lightly toasted but non the less it was great. My son got a NY hot dog and loved it. Beer was cold as ice and that's awesome. Our server Dillon was very nice and friendly. Everyone working there is attentive and works together. Definitely we'll make this a frequent visit.

12:00 Although we had to leave after ordering ( had to do a to go order) I wanted to say the food was so good!! I order 6 garlic wings which was so good. My partner order 12 mango wings and omg ( no words for that lol). My only problem was the drinks which wasn't that strong , it was more like a fruity juice lol. (Strawberry Whitney)

On Saturday afternoon I called ahead for directions but the lady who answered told the address back to me. Our first time going and hard to find we thought. The place was packed with people at tables or no clean tables (just empty but dirty). A kind busboy cleaned a table for us, then we sat hoping to get some Cheeseburgers and watch the start of the FSU football game. The Servers were overwhelmed and no one came to serve us. Customers next to us remarked, "Good luck." The customer who told us that also said she [usually] loves this place yet today "they are not used to a full house." After waiting some more to no avail we decided to leave and "save" this place for some other time. Cute fake grass decor!

I've been here a few times now. The food is disappointing. but the service was good. If you want to go to a place and not wait for a table or grab a few drinks for happy hour, this is a good option.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Top 2 Reasons why- #1: Jake was probably the best server I've had in the past 2 months hands down. So knowledgeable about the menu and overall just really sweet. #2: The food just tasted so fresh. You can tell everything was made in-house. No frozen crap -- even down to their sauces like the Myong which idk what the heck they put in that stuff but I'm definitely getting a side when I return. Everything I ate was amazing I felt like a kid in a candy store. The Au Jus (which they make in house) with my French Dip was superb. And that bangin' shrimp?? It was so bangin (essentially Bonefish Bang Bang shrimp without mayo) and if it wasn't such a large portion I probably wouldn't have shared it. Plus, the drinks were strong which is like one in a million. Marking this as a go-to spot I can depend on leaving satisfied & full.

We came for lunch. We'd watched the building being remodeled and looked forward to the new venue. The same location has been a coffee place and a pizza place and before that a Chinese restaurant. We'd been to other Legends locations, too. We sat at the bar/counter inside. The restaurant was fairly busy but not overly so. The guy next to us was eating a Chicago hot dog with all the fixings. It looked good so my husband ordered that. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. We both requested well done fries. The staff is still obviously in a learning mode. Someone had to show them how to get my ginger ale from the soda dispenser. They were following a recipe book to make alcoholic beverages. Tasting the concoctions to make sure they were okay. As we sat there, they restocked the liquor in the bar. But a number of items listed on the menu are not in stock yet. Nor are their taps accurate. There were a lot of restaurant people walking around but I'm not sure who was doing what. It took a little bit to get our food but not that long. My one main problem was that the bottom bun of my sandwich was soaking wet -- soggy! It didn't have any contact with the lettuce or tomato so there was no logical reason. When two different people and the bartender asked how was my meal, I told them about it. I mean it was grossly inedible. My answer? "We will address it with them." Huh?! What kind of answer is that? The food was okay (except for my sandwich), but really I don't think we will be back.
