LeGrande Lounge

We dined at LeGrande At Time Hotel. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. The cheese was lackluster, and the meat board seemed less than fresh. I opted for the sliders, but they failed to impress, and while the French fries were tasty, they were overly greasy. On a positive note, the ambiance was excellent. Desert was great. The waitress truly stood out as the highlight of our experience—accommodating, friendly, respectful, and kind. Despite the culinary hiccups, his exceptional service made our visit thoroughly enjoyable.

Not recommending this Lounge. We got 2 Pulsd voucher to try it out and it was not what was advertised! It says you get 3 course dinner but it was all Bar bites. No proper table to eat, mostly lounge chair. The server was really nice but so disappointed by the food. Will not go back.

Stayed here 5 days, the first good vibe I got in the lobby was during the free cheese and wine , Valentin/Valentino was super friendly very helpful and made my stay better. Best server they got ! He’s got glasses go to him 👍🏼👍🏼

Quiet, relaxed location where you can hear your group talk. Average cocktails and decent food. Very kind bartender, even though the poor guy was running circles alone on a Friday night. Service was as best as he could manage with no support staff. Recommended on a week night when totally empty, it's hard to hire enough staff for a very short pre theatre rush only 2 nights a week and i suspect fri/sat around 5-7pm will always be under staffed.

Great place to host a large group. Friendly staff, awesome drinks, and great DJ for live music. Reasonably priced and centrally located for most of your friends to stop by and dance.

Angelica is amazing made amazing drinks and was so personable will come back just to be served by her!!!! Tip her well!!!!

i attended an awsome after party here during fashion week. comfortable seating and lounge area. staff and bartenders were excellent. good place to throw an event party.

It was awesome except for the fact that there was a really obnoxious bachelorette party with older blonde twins and a weirdo with blue hair. The group started fighting and a guy that looked like vanilla ice started fighting with the guy with the blue hair. It was kinda weird. Other than that, great cocktails and space.

I had called beforehand to make a reservation right when they opened and was told that I did not need one. The location was a bit difficult to find, but when I arrived there was some kids running around. The lounge was 1/3rd full and all the good seats were taken. The only places left to sit was in a dimly light corner or outside the bar, where there were kids playing around. Given that I came here to eat, I had no choice but to sit outside the bar. I feel like for a lounge area, this was not comfortable or relaxing at all. I ordered the Le Crudo ($27) and to me the description on the menu did not match the flavor profile of the dish. I tasted a lot more ginger and a lack of red pepper and lemon. The LeGrande burger ($23 + $3 extra for cheese) was nothing out of the ordinary, despite its high price. The biggest disappointment had to be the Gnocchi LeGrande ($23), which was extremely bland. There was a complete lack of cheese and flavor. I wish I had spent my money on another dish. The tiramisu ($16) was a good dessert. The cake was light and sweet. The cocktails were quite lovely. The LeGrand Tiramisu ($18) was perfectly balanced with coffee and sweetness. The Melon Dew Martini ($18) was also very light and refreshing. Our server and bartender, Kathy, was great. She made us our drinks in a timely manner and was very kind.

Unfortunately it was terrible services. Waited 1 hour for my meal while it was empty. Do not recommend.

I have never seen such a NICE LOOKING establishment have thee most UNEXPERIENCED, RUDE, INCOMPETENT and UNPROFESSIONAL bartenders of ALL TIME. Drinks were extremely weak, they had no idea of how to work a bar and service a spectrum of guests, they were severely understaffed initially however the added bartenders had no clue about life itself. Sipping soda while serving, ignoring guests, stating it would take too long to make certain cocktails and to order "something more simple because we're busy" and lastly homegirl left a full bottle on the bar and walked away....so unprofessional. I have never seen this much of a disaster at a bar. Never. Again.

I liked this place. I came here with a girlfriend before a Broadway show for a quick happy hour/drink. The downstairs is the restaurant; the happy hour is upstairs (which is where we were). I initially entered the downstairs area and inquired with the hostess there, who was somewhat snobby about redirecting me upstairs. The bar in the upstairs area was closed off for a private event, but there was still seating by the window area for other patrons. My friend and I shared the calamari (average - I don't like the huge calamari pieces) and sliders (delicious and would get again). Cabernet was decent for a house wine. It took a while to get our menu/check etc - while this normally wouldn't have been a problem, 1) we did have a show to catch and 2) we couldn't exactly go directly to the bar and ask for what we needed because of the private event. The service was average, but I would advise them to step it up and be more attentive to their other guests during events like these. A decent stop in the Theater District - while I wouldn't make this my final destination, it'll serve its purpose.

This place is decent for Times Square. Came here with a big group of coworkers (like 15 of us) at 6 pm on a Thursday and we were able to take over a back corner since it was practically empty for the 3 hours we were there. All of the seating is nice plush velvet. They had only one bartender, so we made our first round champagne. They set out the glasses and popped the bottles but had us pour it ourselves, which is kind of annoying but ended up being a fun group thing. We also did a couple rounds of cocktails, and each time we ordered it would take 20 min+ to come out. Most people did standard stuff (gin and tonic, moscow mule, etc) and reported "good." I tried a Cell Block Tango, which was a tequila and grapefruit drink, and it was nice. My whiskey sour was very strong but not bad. We also had a few bar snacks. Fries were substandard, tacos were meh, and tuna tartare was surprisingly good. Pretty normal list to pick from. Service mostly left us alone, which is odd since we were a big group spending money. We usually had to go to the bar to order even though it wasn't very busy. Music is decent and the decor is luxe, but vibe was lacking since it was so empty and the lights were too bright (until aggressively dimmed in the last 30 min we were here). There was also a couple making out occasionally in our room, which was weird. Prices are average to low for the area-- $15 special cocktails, a bit less for well drinks, and $8 beer. This is cheap considering this is a hotel bar and looks so classy. Bathrooms are clean and pretty. Not a destination by any means but if you needed to bring coworkers somewhere nice in the heart of Midtown, this works. Maybe a better time if in a small group or sitting at the bar.

A nice bar located in the Time hotel. Not very spacious, and the decor was average. The night I was there, they had an auction so the waiters were busy and din't really take our orders. They have a good collection of cocktails and good beers. I would recommend this place for a quick drink around times square.

I attended an event hosted at LeGrande Lounge, located inside the Times Hotel, up the huge elevator. Be advised that it's very small, so if you're planning to have an event here, it could get uncomfortable and hot. It's a fancy-looking place, and it shows in the decor, although I thought it to be a big gaudy and fake. The fanciness comes through in the prices - each drink is $17 and up, and the drinkers around me were appalled at this. I guess it's a solid place to host an event if you're not expecting that many people and you'd be giving out comp'd drinks. The service wasn't the friendliest, either. If you don't care about the money, it could be a good place for an upscale date. I could see people coming here with their sugar daddies or hot dates for the night. Otherwise, it's nothing to write home about.

Lagrande hosted an event I went. I was blown away by the ambience of this place. The bartender Vanessa makes amazing drinks. Vanessa came over to ask if we wanted something to eat. I responded by saying, I am dying for a slice of pizza. Vanessa went downstairs to the restaurant and came up with a pan of deliciousness. As we were able to exiting this establishment. Katherine the manage was friendly. She gave me a family and friends card with 20%. I'm i'm definitely returning with some friends.

This is one of the worst bars I've been to in NYC. The bar tender did not know how to make any of the drinks on the menu and service was incredibly slow.

I went to Legrande Lounge for a speed dating event last night. It turned out that the lounge had accidentally double-booked the back room, and our event got pushed to the front half of the bar: side tables and the bar itself... okay, no biggie. However, the people who got the back room also insisted on sitting at the bar and wouldn't move, even though it had clearly been set up for this event. Did the lounge ask them to move? No, they would not. Then the lounge started blasting music throughout the bar, making conversation very difficult. Would they turn it down so that those there for the speed dating could have conversations? No, they wouldn't do that either. The event that I was there for - that we had all paid for - was finally cancelled. I think it's safe to say that Legrande Lounge succeeded in losing 40+ future repeat customers in the process, so great job, guys!

The atmosphere and service were absolutely wonderful! Dee, the manager, was amazing. She was very prompt and always there to check on us. We enjoyed the red wine and delicious cheese. We highly recommend this place. Can't wait to come back already!

Got charged 2x for same drinks, they lost my credit card, and none ever returned my call to let me know if they had found the card or not. Went there on Saturday night, got drinks and asked for my card to be closed. Bartender was too busy getting other people's drinks ready that he didn't give me my card back. When I returned at the end of the night to get my credit card they had lost it by then. Waited 20 min for them to find it and nothing. Gave female bartender new card to match my credit card's name (since she kept asking for my name 5x) but that card was returned with another bill. I asked her why did she charged me again on new card and there was no answer. All bartenders looked so lost.. unprofessional. But the worst part is that I called them the next day left them voice mail to call me and let me know if they had find my card but call was never returned. I understand that things get lost in busy places but don't and will not understand unprofessionalism.

Penthouse for corporate event was exciting for guests and staff was pleasant and food was good. Eric (event manager) was great-made sure we had everything we needed for event to go smoothly! Thank you!! :)

Place is classy yet cozy. Quite fun lot and well spaces out. Great customer service. This place used to be InC lounge now rebranded as Le grande. Good food options too.

We came here on 4th of May last week (we were staying at the Time Hotel). There were two bar tenders and both didn't acknowledge us. When we were eventually approached, the bartender was rude and it was obvious he didn't want to be there. Rolled his eyes when I couldn't hear him and started yelling across the bar. We picked up our stuff and left. Maybe because they had a function on as well but still we were guest of the hotel. Or maybe because they were playing music so loud that customers couldn't hear them. Either way, I would never recommend anyone to this establishment. I normally don't write reviews but thought might try to save other people from the bad service. Don't spend your money here, better off go to Lillie's Restaurant and Bar, which is 1 min walk down the road. Also don't bother with Serafina downstairs, customer service on par with Le Grande Restaurant.

Girls night out for light bites before seeing a show.. Could not have chosen a better place! Grilled cheese was delicious as well as the chicken tacos! Also very accommodating ordering salads off the menu. Nicole the bartender was on spot making our drinks and Danielle was extremely helpful from seating us to going over drink/food menu. I actually skipped the play to enjoy Nick the house DJ! Will be back for Wednesday night Jazz 7-11pm.

I thought I would like this place. Except the utter incompetence of the bartenders here totally ruined the experience. There is a reason people open their tabs and that is for the convenience of ordering more drinks under their NAME later. If I open a tab and only get 2 drinks I certainly would not expect to get charged for 5 drinks! Unfortunately that's what the girl bartender decided to do. I'm not frustrated about the price but it's the principle I can't accept. I ended up paying the tab even though I explicitly said I bought only 2 drinks and also because I couldn't be bothered to try and explain to them anymore. The bartender was also NOT considerate at all (and gave me attitude) in terms of trying to resolve the issue. At an upscale and expensive hotel bar like this people are obviously paying for the service and environment (although it was literally a 2nd floor lounge). If you have such terrible service then I'm not sure why people should come and buy your drinks at all. If you are looking for a nice place in a friendly environment around Hell's Kitchen, I would suggest stopping by one of the other hundred bars around here. P.S. I've been in very popular bars with 100+ people on busy Saturday nights and have never gotten a wrong tab. This place (on a Tuesday night) with the lady bartender had about 20 people all together...

Very small place full of tourists that stay at the hotel so you will find from people in yoga pants to football jerseys clothing, horrible atmosphere, DRINKS ARE RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE!!! 5 rounds of drinks for 4 people 250 bucks, wtf!! Pizza was horrible, the guac and chips was good but hey you can try that anywhere, so do yourself a favor and don't go there, you rather go to a rooftop with better atmosphere and spend less money‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍

I held an event at the LeGrande Lounge on Friday night and the team was fantastic! They hosted us with extreme professionalism and were very helpful with set-up and support. The appetizers were AMAZING (get the tacos, sliders, and grilled cheese!) and cocktails, delicious. The music was great, not too loud which allowed us to hold real conversations. Our guests had an amazing time! I would absolutely recommend LeGrande to anyone hosting an event in midtown. Thank you, Danielle!!

Gone there a few more times since. The place continues to impress. The bartenders customize the cocktails to your taste & are always super friendly.

As we were walking in, a group of people leaving warned us it was dead inside. We walked in a little before 10 and most of the people were standing in the outdoor area. Indoors was empty. Every table had a reserved sign on it. We asked if we could sit down and the waitress said the tables were reserved for bottle service, but we could sit down until then. That was accommodating of her, but this is not a club. It's a lounge. There's no seating for us regular folk? Drinks were strong, but I felt like the waitress was trying to pressure us to buy more. Music before 11pm was awesome 90's R&B. After 11, they switched to house music - boo!

I attended a friend's event at LeGrande. It is a very beautiful place. There is a lot of room to move around, but the bar area is a bit narrow and it gets congested. There was great live music in the back. We went on a warm day in April and there was no a/c, so it was very hot in there. I did not really enjoy the event due to this. We had to leave early.

Best hidden gem in Times Square. Our business always stays here because the location is incredibly convenient and LeGrande, the lounge, is excellent. The service is incredible and their drink specials are the best in the area. Make sure to ask Claudia at the bar to make you a drink!

Nice place for a 1st or 2nd date. Their drinks are expensive but are not watered-down as some places do. Their service is excellent. Well recommended. Give it a try!

Over the past year Legrande has become my go to place! The staff is super amazing and friendly. They never disappoint with their tastey cocktails and sparkling personalities. They know their stuff! I usually stop by with a group of 6 or 10 of my coworkers for cocktails. The manager (Danielle) is always welcoming and gracious. Even when there is an event at Legrande she finds a way to accommodate my group. A++ On top of that, she consistently checks in to see if all our needs are being met. At times, has even treated us to some cocktails!! Sweet gal and top notch manager if I say so myself. Great spot to chill on Saturday late nights with bottle service. DJ sets were poppn'! Looking forward to cocktails at Legrande next week:)

I'm giving this review solely for the Horrendous customer service my friend received last night. We attended a private professional networking event there. We then left only for my friend to realize that he didn't close out his tab and forgot his card. We went back to retrieve the card. The person behind the bar informed us that the bar was actually closed. We requested to speak to a manager to find out if they could check the register for any cards left behind. A few minutes later. The person bartender/manager that actually swiped his card came to greet us and my friend explained to her what happened and before he could even get his name out for her to check; she cut him off saying no cards are left behind we already cleaned the bar and it's not here. I then asked her nicely if she could at least look for it and double check; human error occurs daily. She was apparently pissed off by that as she proceeded to be curt and rude in her responses. She basically looked exasperated and checked one register picked up the draw looked at us like nope nothing. My friend then let her know it had to be here because he didn't close out and she was in fact the woman that he handed his card to. She said like i told you already we have no cards left behind .. again with a curt rude attitude. All the while we are calm and in somewhat of shock that we are being treated this way when we are simply asking her to double check. I informed her that she was being rude and it was not professional with her tone and the responses she was giving was not satisfactory. She said there was no other manager on duty and then looked at us and stormed off. I must say i was taken aback. I would hope that she is reprimanded and at the very least spoken to. Her customer service was severely lacking, especially for an establishment like this which I've been to many times without incident. My friend ended up having to block his card and order a new one today as they wouldn't even acknowledge that they misplaced his card or at the very least treat him like a paying customer. Shame on you! The bartender was Caucasian under 5'5 dark brown or black long hair and a nasty attitude!

Had a drink there with a friend a few days ago. Really nice and relaxed atmosphere. The food and drinks are great and I'd surely come back some time soon. Overall a really nice place / friendly staff and good live music a few days a week as well.

We stopped in after The Book of Mormon show to have dinner. The street menu looked so yummy that we decided to spend our night there for after the show cocktails and a bite. Immediately entering, we asked the mgr if there was seating available for a bite and his pleasant demeanour said absolutely, plz pick a spot. Our server quickly greeted us and he was SO nice and friendly! We ordered our first round of cocktails and 2 starters, organic turkey meatballs and the truffle grilled cheese sandwich. Both items were delicious and the flavor was fantastic! I'm leaving 2 stars unfortunately bc of the lack of service. After sometime of not being checked on after our food arrived, I had to locate our server and asked for his time to order more. He came over and we tried to order more food but he informed us then the kitchen was closed. I was a bit confused as we weren't offered last call for food. He went to dbl check and yes the kitchen was closed. We were starving and it was late! He did accept responsibility apologizing for not informing us and tried to offer another round of drinks or even shots. We didn't want to get hammered but to have our dinner there. The ball was dropped at that point. What the server didn't know was I was celebrating my bday and after the show, I'd picked them to have my meal vs the other restaurants in the area. We're not local so we didn't want to walk the streets looking for places still open at that time of night. He suggested a Mexican spot around the corner but I wasn't feeling it and my evening was ending on a sour note. And then on top of that, the nice mgr stopped by once to check on us but the rest of the time, he was chit chatting with friends at the bar. Maybe if he had done a recheck, we could had ordered more food and avoided this long neg review. The spot though is very NYC chic and perfect for our Manhattan feeling. I know they just opened so the service should get better.

A group of 50 or so of us went to the lounge and we were treated like we were down south in segregated land. This is truly the era of Trump. Even in liberal NYC. The bar "manager" insisted that she didn't want us there, didn't want to play hip hop music, accused us of smoking marijuana inside the lounge while we were all dressed in our fancy cocktail attire. She was just downright rude and disrespectful. She was mad we were there in an already empty establishment. Our group is not a rowdy bunch. Everyone is in their 30s and 40s, all professionals. The DJ didn't want to DJ either. He would play a song and go to the couch and talk to his friends. We would've done better plugging up someone's iPhone. Would not ever return for racist manager, lazy DJ, and overpriced drinks.

My friend and I just had a party there on Saturday night and it was great! If you're looking for a place where you can dance without it being too clubby, this is it. When I arrived there, the manager Danielle completely took me through the process and showed me where our party would be held. She was also available throughout the night to help out, sending over the bartender, etc. There were no lines to get in even though I thought that the music, ambiance and décor all made it a great place to host the party. The bouncers downstairs were super nice and engaging and directed people to get in. Also, the DJ took requests and even tailored the genre of music to those dancing. I didn't have any of the food, so I can't comment on that but everything else was terrific!

This past Friday. The place is nice I will give them that much. However, the drinks are overpriced (super bottom shelf liquor) drinks. The first set of bartenders were definitely not in the mood to be there. Rude, uninterested and bothered to assist patrons. The next set of bartenders had a much better rapport with customers. On the fence on this one, but I doubt I would spend my money there again.

Recently, after a tough day of work, my friends and I stopped by Legrande for drinks. We had a really good time. All the cocktails were spot on. Our bartender, Claudia, was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive!! The foods, such as the guacamole and the chicken kebabs were awesome. Plus the place is very clean. I would definitely recommend Legrande to my friends and clients in the future.

Legrand is the perfect respite from the midtown madness. The environment is relaxed, music is on point and staff is friendly. I usually get a tequila cocktail and the guacamole.

For a boutique hotel bar these guys have it worked out. They have a self-developed cocktail list which is small but well thought out and with amazing flavour profile. Try the Madames Choice or the Gold Finch. We had Kevin the first night. He was super friendly and really set the tone for our stay at this hotel, so of course we came back the next two nights!! We were looked after by Danielle, Rachel and Nichole. Fantastic and really made our stay that much more enjoyable!

This Lounge was very nice. Great setting and atmosphere with good music from the DJ later in the evening. It was just us two girls and we had a wonderful time. We couldn't have been treated better by Nicole, Danielle, and Miguel. They made our night especially wonderful and welcoming. Thanks! We'll be back!

Perfect location and excellent service! One of my favorite bars in the area with delicious cocktails and food! The service is always outstanding and is perfect for pre-theater drinks! Danielle, the General Manager, is always welcoming with her bright smile and upbeat energy!
