"Still owned and operated by the original family, this impressive log cabin built by Odawa Indians in the 1930s and accompanying Polish restaurant in Cross Village is a Northern Michigan institution. Wait your turn (no reservations allowed) for some pierogi, gołąbki, or a warming bowl of bigos — a hunter’s stew made with sauerkraut, cabbage, Polish sausage, and mushrooms." - Stacey Brugeman

Service was outstanding. The drinks were fine. The polish food was far from outstanding. Overpriced and mediocre at best. They shouldn't allow you to take home leftovers. If you leave thinking it was bad, maybe you'd forget by the time you eat it again. Stick with the view, the drinks and some light appetizers and you'll leave happy. The owner doesn't want to hear about it, so don't bother calling to ask why your meal wasn't awesome. Seems to be par for the course with even the best in northern michigan lately.

Great eats, and drinks! We didn't stay in a room. no a single dish we had was bad the super taste of Poland on point! Perogies, Goulash, hunter stew, sour soup whatever you get taste amazing. you won't be disappointed. The place is busy busy lots of patrons you know it's good when you have a 1-1/2 to 3 hour wait to be seated.

Legs Inn has been in my list to visit for a long time and it didn’t disappoint. The hostess had 1 table with immediate availability but then got us to 1 with a better view and privacy, much appreciated. The beer/drink menu was stacked, the food was great, and the staff was super friendly. You pay a little bit more for the location but it’s worth it when you taste the food and consider where you’re eating it. Looking forward to coming back. Such a great atmosphere

Visited the last day of the season, so they were out of some menu items, but we still had a great meal. We enjoyed the views from the garden and sipped adult beverages while we waited for our table. They put a lot of people through this restaurant every day and they handle them with swift, friendly service and very good food. We will visit again....and again....and again.

Food was authentic. Good A bit pricey. 3 of ate bill was over $140. Nice experience. But would not wait again. The sausage was by far the highlight of all the food we tried. Hope you like cabbage.. most everything has cabbage in some form .

Great food. We were told there would be a 1.5-2 hour wait for dinner but found seats at the bar and were served quickly. Love the decorations inside. Only issue was parking - not enough space in the lot and some patrons don't know how to park.

A fabulous dining experience of authentic polish food that is absolutely perfect. Incredible landscaping accompanies a breathtaking view when dining outdoors in their garden but the other two seating options wont disappoint.. It's a historical landmark for a reason. The food, atmosphere, view and experience in general.. all incredible. Really love the gift shop with polish pottery and polish snack foods.. I always load up on snack foods to bring home when I've stayed in central.Europe so it was nice to just buy some locally. It's a truly surreal and wonderful place.

My husband and I stayed at one of the Legs Inn cottages over the weekend and absolutely loved it! The cottage was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed a nice fire outback in the evenings and long walks in the morning along the shoreline of Lake Michigan. If you are looking for a lovely getaway (away from other people), look no further! We enjoyed *multiple* delicious meals at the restaurant as well. :)
