Lei Garden (CNT Tower)

I have visited this restaurant many times. It was my mother's favourite restaurant in Hong Kong. I go there every time I return to Hong Kong. I was there last night. We had a pre-arranged menu for 7 people. The meal came to just over HK$10,000. The shrimp was way over cooked, even tough to bite on and had zero taste. The fish dish cooked two ways was excellent with the stirred fried portion. But the deep fried portion was unpleasantly coated with North American "fish and chips" batter. Unbelievable. The abalones and goose feet were tender and tasty. The "米鸭” was also on par. Desserts were excellent with 楊枝甘露 and 擂沙湯圓. Service was excellent. However, compared to before, the over all food quality has deteriorated. The restaurant was nearly empty when we left at 9:30 pm. I hope the restaurant will revive itself to its former past. Otherwise...

Classic Cantonese dim sum with nice personel...the siu mai and harkao was up to standard!

This Chinese restaurant offers exceptionally high-quality traditional dishes. The highlight for us was the roast pork (siu yuk), which was incredibly crispy and flavorful without being overly fatty or oily. Everyone enjoyed it so much that we ordered a second helping! However, the portions were a bit small overall, which would be ideal for small groups, allowing diners to sample a variety of dishes. While the pricing is on the higher end, it is definitely worth it for the quality of the food. Additionally, free valet parking is available on-site, which is a nice convenience.

The food tastes good. The amount of food is appropriate for the price. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable. It is clean and the service is very good.

Great selection of Chinese food, especially dim sums and roast meats. Their soup was magnificent, especially if you’re nursing a hangover. Roast pork and goose are fatty goodness as well.

One of the best Cantonese Restaurant in HK. Staff super friendly, good environment. Roast pork and char siew die die must eat.... Roast duck can just give it a pass... 🤭 Most of the dim sum is good, went there continuously 2 days, ordered their carrot cake, first day is superd... But today the taste drop...can also forget about the mango sago.... 😅😅😅 Will be back again when I visit HK.

Do not believe the high ratings. The service is appalling—staff are snappy, impatient aunties who only speak Cantonese and literally walked off before we even finished our order. They spent the rest of the night aggressively pushing the $1200 HKD steamed fish instead of providing actual service. Overpriced, mediocre food, and a total lack of professionalism.

Nice cantonese restaurant... beijing duck... scallops... lobster... have been great. We had own room so waitresses were also very nice... explain everything politely 👍
