They have a good selection of wines. We stopped in after walking the marina and historic downtown areas and sat in the outdoor seating. It was piano. Ight so we were able to hear the piano and singing. The service was great. This is a good stop for those who enjoy wine.

Should you find yourself & your spouse enjoying an adventure that takes you through Escanaba, carve out enough time to take in this gem… a calm relaxing environment that somehow magically make you feel like you belong. Regardless of how good the products are, you’re going to wish you could bottle up the essence of this winery.

Great atmosphere the staff is friendly. The wine was good. We just happened to show up when they had live music. It was great the staff told us all about the local artist and history of the piano.

We went as a family while on vacation from Chicago and had a great time. The atmosphere is so inviting, the wine is amazing, the selection is wonderful and the staff was helpful and friendly. We will be back.

I had the luck of being in Escanaba the night that there was live piano at Leigh's wine bar. The atmosphere was lovely. The wine was equally as lovely... I opted for a tasting and really enjoyed the different wines selected with the help of the very friendly staff. I didn't get the charcuterie but it looked fantastic!

$6 wine flights got us in the door and the hospitality will bring us back. Fairly extensive list of wines. Definitely a must stop if your drifting through Escanaba!

Yelp
Friendly and fun place tucked into a downtown storefront business where they serve some great wines and sometimes entertainment. We were there on a Wednesday, so there wasn't any music that night but we still had fun talking with the bartender and other customers. Left with a take home bottle of wine too! Walk in from the street and you will see a long bar (set up for tastings) on one side and a bunch of comfortable chairs and couches on the other... kind of like a coffee house. The back of the store has a set up for featured musical acts (I think on weekends but maybe Thursdays too... not sure exactly). Lots of comfortable seats back there too. Wine was good, but the friendliness of the bartender is what made it fun. Would like to come back and have a few glasses of "Old Escanaba" (my favorite) and listen to some music.

Yelp
Loved Karen. Loved the Thursday night music. We had the wine flight and found a wine that was our favorite.

Yelp
Adorable ambiance, great service, tasty wine and wine slushies. It's quite warm outside right now, so relaxing inside with a tasting and a slushie is a perfect afternoon.

Yelp
We stopped by here while we were in Escanaba. We did a wine tasting. You get a free wine glass with it. I enjoyed most of the wine. There is a mix of white, red and rosé. The bartender was very nice and friendly.

Yelp
Great local winery in Escanaba. The interior is nice and would be a fantastic place to hang out with friends. Our bartender was very friendly and we had a nice time talking with her. You get a nice free wine glass for your first visit, which is really nice. The wines were good and the tastings affordable: you get to mix and match and if you want more than the 6 choices, you can add extra wines on for few extra dollars. Nice mix of reds, whites, and rose.

Yelp
So glad we stopped here while we were passing through! They had a very nice selection of wines - specifically a lot of semi-sweet options which are my favorite. Definitely do a tasting to figure out what you like, have a glass and then buy a bottle! Our server was also amazing. She was extremely sweet - very friendly and chatted with us the entire time. Atmosphere - also amazing. Very cool, relaxed vibes.

Yelp
Interesting wines to try (not all hits, but still unique) and for $8 a tasting, definitely worth the small detour on our roadtrip. Karen offered phenomenal conversation and insight!

Yelp
Yesterday we spent some time with the Wine Divas at Leigh's Garden Winery. My husband is a beer drinker and has never chosen to drink wine - he did this for me. The staff is very knowledgeable about the wine and share fun and interesting information on the wine, how it was made and the influencers. All the wine is made there on site in the basement. Live piano music and singing. Cute place and a fun experience. We highly recommend checking it out!

Yelp
Cute little place in downtown Escanaba! We did a tasting at the bar, but the seating areas with comfy armchairs looked great. We had a great time tasting the wines (and got to keep our glasses afterwards!) and talking to the bartender. They had a really good variety of dry, medium, and sweet wines! We liked several of them, and made sure to leave with a bottle to bring home. A great addition to the downtown!

Yelp
My husband and I stopped here during our pandemic honeymoon and had a great experience! We were the only two customers so we got undivided attention. They had great precautions set up to keep people safe so we would have felt comfortable if there had been more people there. Highly recommend checking this place out and enjoying their wine!

Yelp
My mom and I were Lucky enough to visit Leigh's Garden Winery as one of our stops on an American Queen Voyage shore excursion. The owners, Julie and Tony were warm and welcoming and the winery is cozy and inviting. Apparently, Julie had been working at the winery learning to make wine for some time when the previous owner decided to sell. Not wanting the winery to disappear, Julie and Tony bought the bar so that this Escanaba landmark can continue its legacy. Julie makes all of the wine in-house and we enjoyed 5 samples of our choosing with nice pours! The wine was Lovely and we were happy to take home a souvenir wine glass to remind of us our time on the Great Lakes. (Also, we had an Amazing piano player with us as part of our group and we Loved sipping our wine while listening to him play the Beautiful piano in the back room. He was very Impressed with the piano itself and how well it has been maintained). Definitely recommend Leigh's Garden as a fun stop if you are visiting Escanaba or a relaxing place to visit if you are local. Wishing Julie and Tony Good Luck in keeping this Delightful place open and successful!

Yelp
I stopped into Leigh's the other day for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised. Leigh was behind the wine bar and offered me a tasting of each of his wines. (I think there were 10?) It was really cool to hear the story about each wine (like how he ended up getting pears for his pear wine from one of his customers) and he also told me the history of the building, which dates back to the 1800's. He also said they were looking to add a light food menu in the future, which would be awesome as this is a great space. If you're in the Escanaba area and like wine, I'd recommend stopping in here.

Yelp
A bit bias of course but I can't lie, my dad's wine wins more and more international awards each year. My favorites are Marquette and Foch (dry reds). There is quite a variety including reds, whites, rose petal, Apple, pear, rhubarb....5 medals this past year alone. Great atmosphere, fun tastings. Relax and enjoy!

Yelp
Stopped in on a Saturday last weekend. The place was pretty quiet, but was decorated very nicely. A nice woman greeted us and served us our wines. She was very knowledgable about her job - a huge plus in my book. All the wines were very good. They had a strawberry one that was different from anything I've ever had but it was delicious! They didn't have the biggest selection of wines, but from what I understood, Leigh, the owner, is working to make the selection larger. Looking forward to going back in a year or two and seeing any changes and more selection of wine.

Yelp
Came here last year for a wine tasting and it was wonderful. I'd never had a rose wine before. Very interesting! Service was great and was told about each of the wines we were trying. We are from below the bridge and can't wait to come back again.

Yelp
Staff have always been friendly and informative, nice looking place, has some character. Wines are pretty decent- like the Old Escanaba.

Yelp
Wine is simply amazing, a must stop!! Try the Nawadaha Falls! Best wine I've ever had the pleasure of trying.
