This place is our best find during the most recent trip to NYC. The egg tarts were creamy and smooth. We loved it so much that we had to go back and packed more before heading to the airport. We also loved all the unique and lovely bread selections. Please come open more stores in the west coast!

A high end Chinese bakery. Limited assortment of baked goods but unique flavors. Unfortunately everything is like $8 so not cheap. Drinks were great. You have to order on the kiosks hidden on the opposite side, you’ll miss it when you first enter.

I’m so excited to see the Asian bagel trend making its way to the US. The fillings are rolled inside the bagels, and the texture is fluffier than NY style bagels. I was skeptical about their egg tart (as I’ve had some of the best back in Hong Kong), but I was so wrong.. IT’S GOING TO BLOW YOUR MIND! Their drinks are surprisingly affordable, and you can add milk mochi (my fave!) as a topping. I asked for minimal sugar, and they were actually lightly sweetened. ＊Butter Caramel Egg Tart 黃油焦糖盒子撻 $5.49 *** Their egg tart boasts a 1:1.8 egg-to-milk ratio: the custard was creamy, and jiggly. The laminated pastry stayed crisp and flaky even without reheating, thanks to how fresh they make them. They even have a tiramisu version that I’ve been eyeing. ＊Garlic Pretzel Bagel 蒜香鹼水貝果 $5.49 * This low-oil, low-sugar pretzel bagel makes it more guilt-free, and I really wish pretzel bagels were more common here. You can imagine it as a mix between a salty pretzel and a chewy bagel. Heads up: the garlic aroma is INTENSE. You can even smell it through the packaging lol. Bring breath mints. You've been warned. ＊ Spicy Pork Floss Bagel 豬肉脯辣肉鬆貝果 $5.49 *** SPICY ALERT! It was a soft, chewy dough rolled with pork floss, then topped with a crunchy topping. Every bite hit me with heat and savory. I’d get this again. ＊Taro Mochi Black Ceylon 芋泥麻薯紅錫蘭 $6.49 ** My favorite drink! Get this if you love taro and milk mochi. I only wished they offered alternative milk. ＊Supreme Grape Tea Smoothie巨大顆手剝葡萄 (冰沙) $5.89 The grape was decently sweet even though I got it with 30% sugar. It was refreshing and low in calories. ＊Matcha Dirty Boba Milk Tea 抹茶波霸髒髒茶 $6.89 It came with matcha cheese foam, oolong milk tea and brown sugar boba. If you always find brown sugar boba too sweet for your liking, this would be perfect.

In short: over-marketed, underwhelming, unhygienic and poorly run. Don’t get fooled by IG like us. Don’t let the pretty Instagram photos fool you — this place is a hard pass and I definitely wouldn’t come back. The moment you walk in, it feels messy and uncared for: drinks spilled on the floor, dirty tables piled with trays, and pastries that look mediocre at best. The vibe is more chaotic rest stop than café, with people camped out charging their phones everywhere. We specifically came for their “famous” egg tart since they advertise it so heavily. The staff handed it to us cold, and when we politely asked if they could warm it up, we got attitude and a muttered refusal. The jasmine drink we ordered was just okay. The egg tart? Absolutely not worth the hype.

I visited LELECHA and completely fell in love with their baked goods! The Dirty Bun is hands down my favorite, rich, molten 70.5% dark chocolate with cocoa hazelnut spread and a cocoa-dusted top. The Matcha Dirty Bun is equally amazing, with velvety matcha lava and a perfect balance of creaminess and subtle bitterness. I also loved the Tiramisu Book, shaped like a cute little book and packed with creamy goodness. Their drinks weren’t my favorite, but the pastries are absolutely worth it. If you’re a fan of chocolate, matcha, or creative baking, this place is a must-visit in NYC!

LeLeCha is a lively and modern spot that takes boba and Asian pastries to the next level. Their menu is full of creative, one-of-a-kind offerings you won’t find anywhere else—like the taro mochi black Ceylon boba I tried, which was incredibly smooth, fragrant, and perfectly chewy. The pastries are just as impressive, featuring unique Asian-inspired flavors such as the mochi taro bun that’s soft, lightly sweet, and full of texture. The shop is always bustling, with takeout orders constantly being packed and happy customers filling the space. LeLeCha is the perfect mix of trendy and authentic—a must-visit for anyone who loves inventive drinks and pastries with a distinctly Asian twist.

Cute bubble tea and bakery store. I liked the match drink I got. It was marketed as healthier and wasn't too sweet. The egg tart was good, I would come back and try the other drinks and pastries. There were some cute items like the puppy floss bagel! Lastly it can get a bit packed inside.

Ordered the Tiramisu Tart (6.49), Jasmine Bouquet Milk Tea large (5.89), and Floral Quartet Oolong Milk Tea large (5.89). For both drinks I got less ice and half sugar. They have a kisok and counter for ordering but the kiosk is only for ordering drinks. The tiramisu is a tart style which is unique. The cream and cake isn't too sweet and taste good. The size is also reasonable for the price. As for the milk teas, the oolong and jasmine are fragrant and authentic tasting. I liked how fast the service is and the tables inside. They played nice Chinese music and it had nice vibes inside.

If you're hunting for Halloween-themed treats, LELECHA is killing it this year! The lava cheese bun is warm, gooey, and full of texture -- loved the nut and fruit filling. Also tried the dirty bun (a chocolate-coated soft bread, not puff pastry) and the pistachio loaf -- both super flavorful and not overly sweet. Will definitely be back for more!

I walked by this place a few weeks ago and was very intrigued so I finally made by way back. There's not much seating in the store, but there are a few stools (~4-5) for those dining in. The bread and pastries look amazing - they have a display on the counter where you can take a look at the cross-section of the products before you buy. It was hard to choose but we got the tiramisu tart, which is a tiramisu on top of a custard tart, and the matcha taro bun. Both were really good and very hefty - they were definitely on the rich / sweeter side so we ate a bit and packed the rest to go. I also got the golden rice mochi oolong milk tea, which I loved. Not many places have mochi as a topping for milk tea, and this one had the added texture of rice mochi (i.e. there were pieces of rice embedded in the mochi) which I hadn't had before. The oolong flavor also came through and it wasn't too sweet (I got 30% sugar). Would love to come back to try their other drinks and desserts!

We arrived an hour before closing and luckily there wasn't a line. I was craving boba and stumbled upon this place from TikTok! I ordered the taro mochi black Ceylon with 30% sweetness and less ice. The drink was made quickly and it was so delicious! The mochi was warm and chewy with real taro chunks mixed into it. The black ceylon tea wasn't too strong but definitely woke me up. The decor inside was quite interesting with limited seating. Next time I would like to try their dirty buns!

I've been super excited to try Lelecha but ended up being disappointed. I got the Chunky Strawberry Peach Tea and it was super icy and crunchy and not blended up well. I've seen some people say it's better than hey tea, but I definitely disagree. The bread looked tasty but when I went to grab some there were a bunch of fruit flies flying all over and landing on some of the breads. Even though it's in a case, it's not very tightly sealed and don't close all the way, so it wasn't helping to protect the bread much. I did get one bread - the garlic cream cheese bagel and that was pretty tasty! They also had the bread decorated for Halloween which was cute. I probably wouldn't come back again besides maybe for the bread (but definitely look out for any fruit flies!!)

Lelecha, which has only been open for one year, is a nice addition to the city's bakery scene. This new Chinese bakery brings a unique blend of traditional baked goods and modern beverage trends, offering a diverse and authentic culinary experience for both local residents and Chinese expatriates.  The location is long and narrow and you could place your order either on the wall mounted screens or at the cashier. During my visit, there were many customers and the staff was very busy. They did a very good job with displaying each item and the center decor was unique and appealing. I purchased their Tiramisu and the Pretzel Garlic Bagel. The Tiramisu was created like I prefer it....tight, on the drier side, and was artistically created. The combination of garlic and pretzel made the bagel a good choice and was thoroughly enjoyed.

Really cool interior and I like how the pastries are displayed. No seating unfortunately though. I tried the dirty bun and it was pretty good. I wish it had a bit more cream and the bread was a littttle softer but it was massive and def would get again. I want to go back to try the matcha dirty bun and tiramisu tart!

I saw so many videos about this bakery and cafe from China and had to check it out. The interior is spacious and they put out all of their pastries on display (which I thought was so cute). But, there is no seating here, so it's most definitely a grab-and-go spot. They have a variety of bagels, sweet pastries, and savory pastries (as well as drinks!). I was in the mood for a savory breakfast bite, so I got their smoked chicken avocado bun. It was thick, full of chicken, and very filling. Loved it and I would love to come back to try some of their other buns!

Food was delicious and well priced for the location. The staff was very nice as well. Will go back to try other items.

The drinks and food were both above average not perfect. Also the place is a bit chaotic - they mixed up our drinks and then forgot to make my friend's so we waited like half an hour. Both drinks I had were decent but nothing super special - a coconut drink that tasted a bit artificial and a coconut taro drink that was fine but also not that different from what I've had from other places. The dirty bun I had was humongous and dense w enough carbs to feed a family of four. It was tasty esp the chocolate shell and the chocolate stuffing but just.. a lot. I would not go out of my way to go here unless I'm on a carb binge or have the metabolism of a toddler. But fine to stop by if you are in the area and in the mood to try a new place.

I was very excited to try out this bakery and ordered 4 items to try! The inside is cool with a hyper realistic display of the pastries in the middle and you can pick out the actual pastries from cases in the wall on the left side. You pay at the register and they pack up your items for you there. One thing to consider is there's no seating inside so we took our pastries to nearby Bryant Park to enjoy. We went Sunday morning one hour after opening and many pastries were already sold out. We ordered the Garlic Pretzel Bagel and Butter Caramel Egg Tart. The bagel was small, tasted okay, but nothing special. The egg tart was huge and so tasty! We were told they restocked some items every few hours so we came back later that day and tried the Matcha Dirty Bun and Salted Egg Taro Bun. The dirty bun was a huge cream puff and messy to eat. The bun was yummy and had good flavor. Overall we still weren't able to try some of the items we wanted to. It was pricey but the egg tart and salted egg taro bun were worth it. I do want to come back and give some other pastries a try.

Okay, my friend from Asia sent me this post regarding this place and so it peaked my curiosity and decided to ask A to pick up my order for me, since it's near the vicinity of errand day. I put in four drinks, yes, I know, but hey I wanted to try all these different flavours and two pastries. I find their drinks to be a lot more reasonably price than other places. I swear bubble tea shouldn't be costing $10! Iced Mango Sago Pomelo - good Mango Coconut Bliss Smoothie - good Oolong Breeze with Bubbles - not sure why, but it was really hard to get the bubbles out of this drink. I thought this was okay. I usually get no sugar, but this tea didn't taste good to me without sugar. Supreme Taro Milk - good Dirty Bun and Garlic Cheese Bun - they forgot both pastries, so whomp whomp, can't provide opinion regarding it. I do appreciate the bag is insulated, so that's a plus, but yeah, really wish they didn't forget my pastries!

Rarely do I give 5 stars for rating because I always feel that there can be improvements. I just tried their butter croissant and to me it's perfection! It's a light and flaky square shaped croissant base with the perfect cream that's a blend between egg custard and crème brûlée. If you're a fan of Chinese custard tarts and crème brûlées, this is the product for you!!! It's not crazy sweet or too stiff. This is my newest favorite dessert! Add a nice coffee or tea and you're in yummy peace

Came for the matcha dirty bun, got that and the garlic cream cheese and would 100% come back for garlic cream cheese bun - you can smell the aroma the second you walk in! The matcha dirty bun has basically 0 sugar and for someone who doesn't like sweets to be that sweet, this tasted like no sugar to me unfortunately! Not salty not sweet and matcha can have a bitter note especially when dusted on top. The bun is also not nearly as fluffy as the garlic cream cheese bun. Tip: the middle section is a display of options, don't pick those up as they're not for purchase. No seating but there are plenty of seats at Bryant Park nearby! Have to come back to try the tiramisu and drinks!

Service was quick but the drink selection hadn't been that interesting. The peach strawberry tea was their popular / recommended drink, and I got it with 30% sugar and still found it overwhelmingly sweet. They did have some baked goods that looked yummy and pretty special. I think I'd try one of those next time and skip the drink. Ambiance was nice and the baked goods presentation was pretty interesting. Note that there is not seating inside of the cafe.

Mehhhh probably would not come here again. Kind of chaotic inside with no clear direction on where the line is. I got the strawberry jasmine drink, honeydew coconut drink, and tiramisu pastry. For both drinks, the fruit overpowered the taste so much where you aren't able to taste the jasmine/coconut. Weirdly enough, the honeydew drink has the fruit cut in an awkward thickness where you can't comfortably just swallow but it's also too thin to chew The best thing was probably the tiramisu pastry. No complaints on that They also had samples of their bagels and cream pastries inside but TBH they did not have much taste and were very mushy. Kind of just tasted like a blob of sugar with no actual distinct flavor Nothing really wow'd me so unlikely to come again, but cool to check out

Got the dirty buns and one of their bread loafs. The dirty buns were good, although a little bit dry but we had been carrying them around for a while. The bread was fine as well, but didn't feel very inclined to finish it. The interior is quite nice and they have a nice display of their pastries in the center. Was pretty quick to wrap up my order and pay. Glad I was able to try this but I most likely wouldn't come back again.

I went to Lelecha on grand opening day and was surprised at how quick the service was despite how crowded the store was. Not only do they sell boba, which includes both fruit teas and milk teas, but they also have a bakery section where you can order sweet or savory freshly baked buns with various fillings. I ordered the Chunky Strawberry Peach tea. The tea was nice, refreshing, and you could taste the fresh fruit in the drink. They also let you adjust the sugar and ice levels like other boba places. I also split a Matcha Taro Red Bean bun with a friend and was pleasantly surprised by the fluffy texture of the bread and how much filling there was. All of the staff were super nice and quick to help. Will definitely be coming back!

I came , I saw, I ate. This new Asian bakery and Bubble Tea spot flew under my radar for over a month because my at the new office changed my walking street pattern and I don't normally pass the block this place is on. From the odd ball selection I could not tell that the place is Chinese. They have Butter Caramel Tart, Dirty Bun, Tiramisu Tart, Garlic Cheese Bun, Mario Walnut or Coffee Crumble Loafs, Spicy Pork Floss Bagel, Luigi Pistachio Loaf. Matcha Taro Bun. and more. I got the Garlic Cheese Bun, Tiramisu Tart, and Buttery Cream Bread. They all of them tastes real good, and the cream cheese fillings were all fresh. The aroma alone from the Garlic Cheese Bun will hit you 10 feet away. I advise you to take a breath mint or just gargle with mouthwash if you do the Garlic Cheese Bun. The three items I went for cost me a $20 , but I know I will be back for more it was that good.

Honestly one of the best bakeries I've ever been to. The tiramisu tart and the strawberry napoleon were perfectly balanced and not too sweet. They were really nice and helped me pick a tea that I would like.

The cutest bakery. Too bad its not a sit down but bryant park is right around the corner. I hope to one day to just try every item on this menu because they all look fire. I got the honeydew coconut bliss which was 11/10 amazing. I would adjust the sweetness though it is on the sweeter side. We also got the citrus burst tea which was so refreshing. I highly recommend this place.

We tried their cloud croissant and chocolate cloud croissant loaves. I really liked the inside of each which had some butter but felt like there could be more. Also, the ends of each loaf was slightly dry. Will try the other desserts next time. I like that they are in our neighborhood though. Nice addition - although there are a few bakeries nearby - their stuff seems to be a bit different.

I got the caramel butter egg tart and the golden rice mochi oolong with the cheese luoluo, but they forgot the cheese luoluo :( The egg tart was bigger than I thought. I'd say it's 50% larger than a regular egg tart. It came with a lot of custard, which I liked. The rice mochi was very rice heavy. There were lots of rice grains and little mochi. I probably wouldn't get this again. The milk tea was pretty standard. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come to this place specifically. I would get it if I'm in the area and is craving milk tea.

Saw this place on Insta and we were around the area so we decided to make a short trip here. When you're inside, it looked very fancy and not a typical bun/pastry place. There was a long swirly mirror table in the middle that displayed the pastries that they have. When you walk in, to your left there are the pastries, behind some sliding glass. If you're familiar with some of the Asian bakeries, you basically grab a plastic tray put some wax paper on it and pick up your metal tongs. From there you go through the glass and see what you want! Like I said before, it's not that typical even the selections so don't expect boring selections or CHEAP selections. They are NOT cheap at all. One pastry can go up to 7-8 dollars. But it's new and our first time so we tried to get a few selections. I really wanted to try the soft cream cheese garlic bread but we also got a cameral egg tart, the dirty buns (both matcha and chocolate) and the chicken avocado bread/bun. As we went to get checked out, it was a little confusing. There were some people standing around for their drinks and yeah make sure you don't drop your items! We didn't get any drinks but we found out Lelecha Wonder was also known for their drinks...oh well. We took these babies home!! After lunch tho cause we were hungryyyy and we wanted real food. Anyways - we tried the garlic cream cheese and I loved it! I only had a quarter cause we had some other items. I will tell you this, I had some for 2 more days and it was still good. Yes, the first day was better but it was still good. I will deff come to get this again. Another thing I would deff get is that caramel egg tart. I will be honest, I thought it would be like any other egg tart, how special could it be? Well...I was wrong! I admit it! and it's fine! It looks dense when you cut it in half but it's actually so light when you bite into it. I shared everything with my boyfriend but I sure as hell wished we got one each. The crust was flakey and the center was soft, jiggly and not overly sweet either! The chicken avocado wasn't too bad, deff a good savory choice if you aren't into sweets. The chicken isn't drink and flavorful enough. Now the dirty buns ; the matcha was alright. I don't really taste any sweetness and I honestly hate the heavy dusting of the matcha powder on time. The chocolate one is a different story - you see this big boy and think it'll be overly maybe it'll be too much cholate. NOPE! It's soft and has like light chocolate flavor that you won't regret and get diabetes! (I think...) So yeah, I'll go again to get the top two favorite - the garlic cream cheese and egg tart. I would like to try the other items we didn't try AND a drink.

Very good tiramisu egg tart!!! Not dry at all .. I hate dry tiramisu.. the dirty brown sugar Ceylon tea was pretty good too .. will come back for that tiramisu eggs tart .. which they had matcha tiramisu egg tart too

Filling not like the cross section at all for the taro salted egg yolk. Complete scam for $8. Could have just gotten better taro bun from China town for $3.

Loved this place, tried the caramel tart and tiramisu tart and would definitely get either again. Pastries are pretty well priced, next time I'll try the drinks.

Ordered a bunch of items and they forgot to pack the butter caramel egg tart. I was looking forward to eating at home. Check your order before leaving.

The drink is made really slow, much slower than hey tea shop. Man, this shop needs to up their game. I was waiting for more than 20 minutes and the shop is not that crowded. Some came in after me even got their drink before me. Just look at how they made the drink, it's really slow.

Popular chinese bakery / boba shop now in NYC! Lines are very long but they have such a great variety of options and Asian flavors such as garlic cream cheese bread, fancy egg tarts and matcha bread. Glad there's a new Asian option to bring variety to the coffee shops in the Bryant Park area.

Came here a week or two for the first time because I saw a new place to get boba. Lovely interior with a wide array of options. Friendly staff that welcomes you in and answers any questions you might have. I will be going back.

Went there during their grand opening. The staff are so friendly and considerate. The line was pretty long, and they are offering umbrella for shade and water/samples to try. Taste is phenomenal, and with very nice vibe in there. Would revisit soon!

Chinese chain now open in NYC with great pastries and tea/fruit drinks at pretty reasonable prices for the location. Pastries are self-served. Fun wheat-themed interior decoration too

Matcha dirty buns were just bland... (bad, tbh). The whole thing is a weird combination of: a wrong texture (too hard & dry) of the bun body + a small scoop of flavorless creamy filling not sweet or savory + some dust of green tea powder on top which seems to be redundant for the rough bun body and doesn't elevate its flavor. I'm not sure what the recipe wants to showcase, but all the above mentioned just didn't work when you put it together. It feels the bakery tries too hard wanting to make it like special, but it tastes bad unfortunately. I honestly don't know what the hype these buns is about. Some suggestions to Lelecha: For the creamy filling and dust of green tea powder, they will go well on a more delicate or softer texture of the bun, puff, bread, or cake body. Also you definitely need to add favors in both the bun and the filling. If it's supposed to be a sweet bun, increase the sweetness flavor profile. It will go well with the green tea powder that's slightly bitter.

Love their drinks! Always fresh and flavorful. Definitely my go-to tea spot. Their bakery looks really fresh and good! Need to try!
