Went into downtown location today. Watched as one lady made the sloppiest sandwich. Turns out it was mine. And then right after I watched as she pulled out her phone to text, while wearing the gloves she was making the sandwiches with. She then proceeded to start touching food again, with the same gloves on…. gross.

Jodie Wedman

Google
First visit, sadly likely the last. Food prep took forever for two sandwiches on a very slow day, and staff were unsanitary prepping it. Gloves on, however pulling out a cellphone and using it with the same gloves and then going back to the sandwiches is nothing short of disgusting. It is SO loud in this restaurants. From the staff, not the customers. Throwing the metal plates to be washed and other prep and cleanup processes echoed loud even upstairs. Outside wasn't an option due to the gusty winds. Ordered kettle chips and received two tiny bags of cheap Lays potato chips. Nothing was said. When asked it was because they ran out of supply. Possibly say that upfront. The gal at the register was kind, the order was made correctly and the sandwich could have been good, but after two bites I just couldn't get past the way it was prepped. It was also a very expensive lunch for what you get.

Cece

Google
Serious fail today. Prep team seemed pretty off their game. The speed of the woman working on prep was painful to watch. Maybe she was new. Sloppy presentation and took a very long time. 3 people that were in line behind me got there orders first and all I had was a salad.

Google
Swung in to grab two sandwiches. 7 staff members, 1 person in front of me, yet it took 15 minutes to get 2 sandwiches. Staff were chatting up a storm and throwing crumpled paper into the garbage, standing around and not working. I saw our sandwiches just sitting there, begging to be sauced. I finally said something at that point, which was met with complete silence and dumbfounded stares. I asked if there was something wrong and they completely gaslit me, responding dismissively, defensively, and as if *I* was the problem. They then threatened to call the owner, Jason, which I was excited about because as a business order myself, I would like to hear of these customer experiences so I could improve. I left my phone number and address and I hope to hear from him soon.

Google
Stopped into Lemon Tree today for a quick lunch. It's nice out today so it was pretty busy. They ended up closing early. I'm just happy I got in right before they decided to close shop. The nice young man helped me at the register. I grabbed a kids meal. It was a little after 3. I was hungry but I didn't want anything big before dinner. So, a kids sized meal was perfect. Warm ham and cheese sammy with a cup of the tomato soup. It did take a minute to get my order taken care of. They were smashing out orders and bringing them out to the guests. Once mine was ready, they had it all bagged up nicely and I was on my merry way. The ham and cheese sandwich was simple but so good! It was literally just ham and cheese. The bread we fresh and crusty. It was such a good little sandwich. The tomato soup was thick and creamy. It had great flavor to it! A perfect match for my sandwich. This location is two doors down from my shop which is nice! It's great to have clean and good food right next door to me. I look forward to trying other items on the menu.

Google
Friendly service, trendy and happy atmosphere, delicious food. Just perfect. Huge menu, with a wide variety of options with so many tastes. Plus, their house made lemonade is soooooo good. There is patio seating, indoor seating, and extended seating upstairs with ambient lighting. It totally reminds me of favorite sandwich shop in NYC.

Google
The food was great. Very flavorful turkey sandwich BUT! I spent $75.60 for a 3 person lunch?!? and to be brutally honest the food was not worth that in my opinion. $15+ for a sandwich with thin roast turkey slices & veggies. $5+ for a lemonade served in a small mason jar. $2 for a canned soda… If you come in with a party of 4 or more you’re not likely to find a place to sit. Seating upstairs was completely full so we sat downstairs near the front window and nearly froze to death as it was below freezing outside and the window did very little to keep us warm. The menu was very hard to read written in small poor handwritten chalk high up on the wall. The food was great but not $20+ per person great. Maybe that’s inflation?… hip and inclusive with vegan and vegetarian options. Soup was no better than Campbells canned tomato soup. All in all I’m still not sure if this is an opulent attempt of a restaurant given the high prices and downtown location, or an overpriced sandwich shop given the awkward menu and ambience of the place. That being said maybe you’ll love it or maybe you’ll hate it. I am somewhere in between

Google
Absolutely my most favorite sandwich/soup restaurant! They have plenty of options for vegans, vegetarians, meat eaters, and gluten free people. My go to order is a yam and cheese salad or sandwich and a blueberry lemonade. So good every time! The employees are always happy and helpful and the atmosphere is welcoming and open. Yes, the prices are higher but the quality/ taste of the food and the experience more than makes up for it!

Yelp
Loved this little corner breakfast, lunch and afternoon pick me up spot in downtown Boise. The staff welcome you in and it feels comfortable immediately. **The Lemon Tree Company **eatery is two stories. You order as you enter and can choose seats downstairs or better yet upstairs. While second floor requires taking the stairs is is like being in a loft at a friend place. Multiple tables with views of the street (and the first floor) that is a quieter area than downstairs. Restrooms for customers are by the kitchen under the stairs. The whole restaurant is Intimate, cozy, casual, trendy and fun. Perfect to meet family and/or friends and enjoy good, unique creations. The food was Divine! I came because I heard about the pear & sausage sandwich, various lemonades and Lemosas. Those menu items alone are worth checking out. The Pear and Sausage sandwich is a combination that I would never make or order until now but it was so tasty! The fennel jam and pear vinaigrette, fresh pear & sausage pieces with mixed greens were so delish. Every bite was enjoyable. We all wanted the tomato basil soup but it was out already at lunch. The Peruvian sandwich was good as well especially for meat lovers. The Lemosa is a must try drink. Just pick a lemonade and they add Brut sparkling wine. The different types of lemonades were so fun and fruity. Everything we got was consumed and enjoyed. You have to try this if you are in downtown Boise before 4pm

Yelp
Stopped into Lemontree for a quick lunch to go. Walked in and it was not busy yet which was nice! I will be able to get in and out. Ordered the sausage and pear salad without the sausage. Hung out for a bit and my order was ready. My salad was beautiful! I got a huge container of fresh greens. It was garnished with a hearty amount of goat cheese and pear. I appreciate that they give me a good amount of salad dressing. My salad mix was so fresh. The greens were so crisp. The goat cheese was buttery and added a creaminess to the salad. The pear was perfectly ripe. It wasn't too soft or too hard. The salad dressing was sweet and was a nice addition to the salad. I was surprised at how much came in my bowl. I ate at it a couple times and still have half left over. Going down the menu list and I have enjoyed everything so far. I love that they use fresh and clean ingredients. Looking forward to coming back and trying other items off their menu.

Yelp
Had lunch and saw an employee texting and making sandwiches - it's disgusting. Not to mention the floor had gloves and is filthy in this photo. Sad to see this place spiral cause I left 5 stars a few years ago. I'm disappointed in you Lemon Tree Co.
google avatar

Briannah R.

Yelp
Kind of on the fence about this one! I really enjoyed the strawberry basil lemonade. I had the "boursin" sandwich and I'm not sure which part of the sandwich played to my downfall but I did have an allergic reaction (allergic to peanuts - did make mention of it, but there's always a risk for cross-contamination since their menu does contain PB&J). The service was pretty speedy and the cashier had some great suggestions for me as a first-time guest. There were a lot of people sitting outside, inside was pretty bare just the staff and people waiting for their orders/Ubereats, but it's a pretty trendy/cute spot.

Yelp
Very cool little spot in downtown Boise. Order from the blackboard at the counter and leave a name. There is a nice room upstairs that has tables, tunes, and toasty warm temps on a cold day. I had the half sandwich (Rueben )with a can of seltzer and a beet and goat cheese salad. The half sandwich is really a whole! It's big and comes on a sizable roll. The beet salad is tasty. The menu overall is unique in its offerings and definitely not "classics " in the deli circle, but it suits them well.

Yelp
The staff were friendly and helpful. The food amazing. The soup is the best side dish to the yummy fresh sandwiches!
google avatar

Michael J.

Yelp
The sandwiches, soup, and salad we got were top notch. We ordered through Yelp and the order was done before I got to the restaurant. Tasty, healthy-ish food, at a reasonable price.

Yelp
Lemon Tree....a hot spot among millennial hipsters that love the odd fig jelly and uncommon greens on their Sammy. Looking for a solid deli sandwich? Well this ain't it. Want a standard tastey samich that doesn't leave you guessing what it was you just processed in your mouth hole? Ya, not it. However, these are delicious lunch structures filled with not so common cuts and complimentary condiments. Sweet, salty, savory they got it goin on at lemon tree. The bread is artesian of course. Is it the kind of sandwich this manly man usually wants? No....but I think that's okay you know? Because it's still very good. Not in a Gen X slap your mama with my callused hand sort of way. But more of a gentle Gen Z, I hardly have the grip strength to hold this sandwich together so I'll structure it in a way to help you....kind of way. It's good. You should go try it. Just don't let it change who you are and eat up Boise.

Yelp
Cute little cafe located in downtown Boise. Service is great, super friendly staff. They have speciality lemonades that are super yummy.

Yelp
I would actually give 3.5 stars for my experience, but I erred toward 3, rather than 4. The restaurant is cute and the staff was friendly. The food came out at a reasonable wait. There are many vegan and vegetarian options on the menu, in addition to "omnivore" options. Creative sandwiches where you read the ingredients and think, "I wonder what that tastes like together." I should have ordered one of these creations. The sandwiches are LARGE, served on ciabatta bread and with a small side salad, soup or chips. They're $15+. You can also order a half sandwich (I recommend, unless you're sharing, starving or taking the other half home for later), but this option is $16-18 and comes with a drink of your choice. I ordered the turkey Boursin both because it sounded good and because it was a favorite. I am a fan of Boursin, but had to keep reminding myself it wasn't goat cheese on the sandwich. (I'm also a fan of goat cheese. I just didn't like the combo here.) the sandwich was dry and lacking in the interesting flavor combo I was hoping for. I got the beet salad on the side and, although it was good, the greens were past their prime, so I didn't eat much of it. My daughter got the mushroom artichoke sandwich, which she really enjoyed and my husband got the Peruvian, which he reported was delicious. So, it could have just been that I made an unfortunate choice. If you're looking for a more basic turkey sandwich, get the turkey Boursin. I would still recommend giving this place a try. Maybe I'll come back sometime and try something else. However,

Yelp
Super disappointed . We came here today for my kids favorite sandwich, the Nuter Futer and learned they discontinued making it. Literally, this is the world's Best kids sandwich and they got rid of it. Bad call Lemon Tree, bad call
google avatar

Paul O.

Yelp
The menu had a great combination of inventive sandwich combinations. We tried the pastrami and the Peruvian. Both were delicious. Bread was excellent and there was a prefect amount of fillings in each. Friendly staff and quick service

Yelp
this will be a regular stop when i am in Idaho for sure. it's clean food in a clean establishment. i recommend everything we ordered. i believe they must use coconut oil in the buffalo cauliflower. i taste a bit of the coconut. it doesn't taste bad at all.. just thought you should know since not everyone is a fan. i'll check with the restaurant to make sure that is what i tasted. there was just enough spice to it. not too much. I would get that again for sure. the onions are pickled on the salads we ordered. I love that! hope you come support this place.
google avatar

Letizia M.

Yelp
I ordered online, and my order was just about done as the estimated time. The sandwich was really good! Although I don't think i'll order the raspberry lemonade again, it tasted funny... Overall it was a cute and nice place to go for lunch!

Shane K.

Yelp
I live out of state but travel here a bunch on business and make it a point to grab lunch or an early dinner here each time. Love the food so unexpectedly good. Was kind of put off by the "healthy food" kind of vibe thinking it was going to be twigs and granola but could not be farther than the truth. Everything is so good slowing eating my way down the menu love the turkey and the peanut butter ohhh and that beet salad - yes beet salad who knew. The only downside is they get really busy and if you don't call ahead you can wait a good amount of time for your food but always seems worth the wait as I munch it down.
google avatar

Kelsy P.

Yelp
I've ordered to go and dined in and have loved everything I've had! Their sandwiches are piled high with meat and house made spreads, their bowls are very filling, and their salad dressing is awesome! This is a great spot for lunch or easy dinner to go.
google avatar

Heidi A.

Yelp
It's a very cute place and felt like the food is relatively healthy! The staff was friendly. I enjoyed the strawberry basil lemonade and the side salad that came with it. The sandwich wasn't bad but I'd rather have a different one. If I ever go back to this place, I'll try something else. I also thought it was interesting they didn't have any coffee there.

Melody B.

Yelp
Took advice from the numerous rave reviews and had the sausage and pear sandwich. It was fantastic! Such a delicious yet unique combination that absolutely worked. Can't wait to come back next time we are in town.
google avatar

Tracey A.

Yelp
Sandwiches & salads here are so good! Staff is also very friendly and helpful. Service was great and the prickly pear lemonade is a must try!

Yelp
It's a cute little place . I had the turkey boursin sandwich and the lemon curd salad. The salad was a bit too sweet for me the sandwich was good . I enjoy the beard . Take your time when reading the menu it can be a bit overwhelming. I like how this place has biodegradable straws
google avatar

Noelle V.

Yelp
Yum! I had the Salami & Artichoke salad. It was bursting with the flavor and was exactly what I was craving. It's a busy little place and for good reason. It's delicious! Salad was $14 and I was skeptical it was going to fill me up, but it did the trick. I think I need to try the sandwich next time!! Very friendly service too!

Yelp
Another visit to Lemon Tree, and another incredible sandwich! Not a big goat cheese fan, but had the turkey sandwich and it was incredible.
google avatar

Keizzel C.

Yelp
Post hike one of my favorite things to enjoy is a nice sandwich so definitely had to try Lemon Tree! It was bookmarked so quickly after reading a lot of Yelp reviews and articles of places to eat in when in Boise. It was an easy decision to make but we totally forgot the weekend lunch rush. Luckily it wasn't too long of a wait but they have a compact space with some seating on the main floor and upstairs but during rush it can be pretty sparse. We were lucky to catch a group leaving and got their table outside so we were able to escape from the cold. For the meal we ended up getting their well loved turkey boursin, cup of soup, and prickly pear lemonade. I really enjoyed the sandwich with the in house boursin cheese and the cherry spread was a unique touch to your classic turkey. The bread was wonderful as well and everything held well together. With the extra bread I was able to dip it in their tomato bisque and it was yummy. The bisque itself was smooth and the perfect side to the sandwich. Lemonade is always a treat but it was great to find prickly pear! Whenever I see it on a menu I tend to try it since I love it so much. If you're not feeling prickly pear be sure to check out their lemonade menu as well.
google avatar

Nicole G.

Yelp
SO GOOD. This is my go-to lunch spot in downtown Boise. I recommend the 1/2 sandwich combo for a first time visitor so you could try a bit of everything. Make sure to get a lemonade, it's what they are know for and it's included in the combo!

H B.

Yelp
The owner wrote in the Idaho Statesman that business has dropped from last year. As a long time patron that has recently been going less, I felt the need to jump on and give feedback: Over the past few years, the prices have been raised substantially while at the same time dropping things like side salads. The drop in business likely has almost nothing to do with construction as I still frequent other businesses around them. The prices are simply high enough that it makes far more sense to have a full sitdown meal. I know its a difficult time for business owners right now but the owner is barking in the wrong direction on the decreased business. I like Lemon Tree's food a lot and would go there far more often if the value proposition was better. This is coming from someone who has plenty of money to spend going out to eat btw.

Kimberly D.

Yelp
Thank you Jasson for catering my lunch event. Your ordering process was easy and convenient. My team really enjoyed your offerings! Food was delish and very fresh. Looking forward to your restaurant when I return to Boise!
google avatar

Chris J.

Yelp
Enjoyed their sausage pear sandwich immensely. Perfect marriage of delicious flavors. My hubs had something w a lot of meat and Fritos in it and he loved it! Our soup was barely warm but still good.

Mindi A.

Yelp
Wow this was an incredible lunch spot my husband and I stopped at on our way through town! The service was so friendly and the location was perfect in Harris Ranch. It was even connected with a cute and delicious ice cream shop. They offered gluten free bread (which was some of the best bread I have had). I highly recommend this place!
google avatar

Rachel T.

Yelp
While traveling to Boise I was desperate for a sandwich. Found this place on Yelp and am so glad I popped in! They have such a unique menu and I found it hard to choose. I got the sausage and artichoke sandwich with the vegan tomato soup. Both were delicious but I realized after that they had a half and half which would have been the perfect portion... I only ate half of each because they were so big! I also got a prickly pear lemonade, which was so refreshing. Would definitely go back to try other items.
google avatar

L A.

Yelp
Delicious! Creative, yummy menu to meet the needs and cravings from vegans to carnivores. I had the yam and cheese salad...was surprised by the raw yam shavings, but I liked them. What a delightful discovery! Cute, hip, casual place with sidewalk tables....check it out!

Samantha S.

Yelp
Had the curry sandwich and the mushroom cheesesteak. Both sandwiches were fresh and delicious. The curry bahn mi was an interesting and yummy twist. Would definitely come back. Really wanted to try the fluffier nutter but it wasn't on this location's menu.
google avatar

Kyle N.

Yelp
I found this place on Yelp, and the reviews were very encouraging. But when Boise CM StaciLei recommended it too, I had to try it, and I was not disappointed. I ordered a Massaman Curry Bahn Mi with a Lemon Tree salad on the side, and a strawberry-basil Lemosa, what a trio! The bread, which is 80% of any sandwich was fresh, crunchy outside and soft inside. The combination of the smooth peanut butter and heat of hot green peppers is what makes this sandwich. The Lemon Tree salad was great, loved the caramelized onions and walnuts, and the Lemosa was very refreshing. I definitely recommend this place.
google avatar

Monique W.

Yelp
This place was definitely a hit. There are so many vegetarian and vegan options. Even some meat options. I'm not a vegetarian or a vegan myself, but it is great to have the options to not eat meat. The sandwich itself was so yummy. I got the bahn mi. The peanut butter sauce really made the sandwich stellar. The tomato soup had texture to it. I am not a fan of super smooth tomato soup. I actually really don't like tomato soup at all, but this was really good and I'd get it again. I would come back and try all of the other non meat sandwiches. I might come back once a month or so. If you don't get the half sandwich and soup, the sandwich itself it really big. So it can feed two people. I also got the prickly pear lemonade. My only complaint about that is that I didn't get enough of it. Now, a huge negative is that one of the guys making the food come over and helped on the register. He had his gloves on and didn't change them touching the screen. Working good service you are supposed to change your gloves any time you touch something else. I hope that that is seen and That they are more cognizant of that.

Yelp
If you're craving a side of humiliation with your meal, Lemon Tree Co in Boise is the place for you. Not only do they serve up subpar food, but they also dish out a hefty portion of mistreatment to their employees. The owner of the place seems to think he can get away with making off colored jokes about people as well. I was very dissatisfied when he offered my wife a footrub to go with her order. Picture this: you're enjoying your meal when suddenly, the manager decides it's time to put on a show. Right there, in front of the entire dining room, they publicly shame and reprimand their staff as if they were naughty children. It's a cringe-worthy spectacle that leaves a sour taste in your mouth long after the meal is over. As if that weren't enough, the employees themselves wear the weight of this oppressive atmosphere like a heavy cloak. You can see it in their eyes - the resignation, the defeat. It's as if they've accepted their fate as second-class citizens in this culinary dictatorship. And let's not forget about the food - or lack thereof. The only thing more stale than the cibatta bread they try to pass off as "fresh" is the management's attitude towards their workers. It's a toxic blend of apathy and arrogance that leaves a bitter aftertaste with every bite. You can clearly tell that the menu is dictated by the owner and not the obviously culinarily trained chef. In short, Lemon Tree Co isn't just a restaurant - it's a cautionary tale of how not to treat your employees. Do yourself a favor and take your appetite - and your conscience - elsewhere.

Yelp
I've been venturing to Lemon Tree for some time now and I'm always impressed with how delicious they can make a vegan sandwich taste. As Boise's premier spot for artisan sandwiches, I have high expectations which they continuously exceed, more so with every visit! The sandwiches are definitely one-of-a-kind. You won't find anything else like it in BOI! During my most recent trip I enjoyed the wonderful Massaman Curry Banh Mi (roasted yams, spicy house made peanut butter sauce, cucumber, jalapeños, pickled carrot, daikon radish, spicy curry aioli and cilantro, $12.99). I will shamefully admit that I am one of those individuals whose taste buds turn away from most menu items that presents as *vegan.* Not sure why, it just doesn't appeal to me! However, I wasn't in the mood for meat, and I had a gift card so I thought, "Okay, let's give it a try." If you're a meat lover, this may not be the 'wich for you. But I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great sandwich. First off, the bread is absolutely amazing. Each bite delivered a satisfying crunch it was like music to my ears. The yams, wow, were delicious! Soft and tender, it paired so well with the crunchy bread. The house made PB sauce provided a sweet kick, and the curry aioli plus jalapeños sent my tastebuds straight to heaven. What an awesome freaking combo. I'm so excited to try some of their other sandwiches. I think I have my eyes on the Toasted Fluffernutter next. If anyone's given that a try I'd love to know what you thought. Can't seem to find many reviews on it here.

Yelp
So an update from previous 3 star review. Tried a different selection of sandwiches and were much happier. The vegan Ruben and the mushroom sandwich were flavorful, on point, and just what the doctor ordered. The raspberry lime lemonade was delicious! Their best flavor. Staff recommended the prickly pear lemonade as well which was okay, but super sweet like a jolly rancher.

Yelp
Nice, fresh clean food. Vegetarian options good menu. very nice staff. Street parking was easy.

Yelp
Yes, we drove 7 hours from Portland to Boise for this sandwich, and we'd be happy to do it over and over again. The Massaman Bahn Mi was as always spectacular. Roasted jalapeño in a PB & J sandwich was something I didn't know I needed in my life but now I want it every day. Especially with this Lemon Tree bread. It's fluffy and slightly buttery. The bread can make or break a sandwich, and let me tell you, I could eat just their bread and be perfectly happy. The Yam and Cheese was pretty good, but not too different from the side salad which I prefer more because of the vinegraitte (although it doesn't come with caramelized onions which are bomb).

Leigh B.

Yelp
The food was delish. Came into town and needed a quick dinner. Chose Lemon Tree because it was close to the hotel and had good review. Oh my gosh we were surprised at how tasty it was. I am going to try and make these sandwiches at home but it won't be as good as their bread was fantastic. If you have a chance check them out.

Yelp
Always amazing! Food, drinks atmosphere, it's all fab all the time. Service is friends, fast and helpful. Wonderful!

Yelp
First time here. I was on a day date yall! And with a younger mayuuun! Like 20 years younger, haha! Never thought I'd EVER do something like that because I was a 21 yr old homo one time and I know what we do at that age hahahaha! Not saying all of us are that certain way, but ya know... 21 year old guys. I mean, do I really need to say more? Hahahaha! He asked me to pick the place. I said, "ever hear of Lemon Tree?" Him: "omg! I used to eat there all the time when it was Bluebird! Haven't been to Lemon Tree! Let's go there!" Me: sounds good because I've literally never been there and never went to Bluebird! And honestly, until I typed in 'lunch' on Yelp, I didn't even know Lemon Tree existed....so yessir, let us go there" We were also supposed to go see Lion King after, but did that happen?? Ahem. No. No it did not, lol. But I digress ....(channeling my inner Sophia Petrillo there lol) He said he had to work. That's totally fine tho. Have I seen Lion King yet? Of course not. OK. LEMON TREE!!!! Was this place good? F*** yeah it was! I'm a super SUPER picky eater. Some of you know that already, hahaha! I got a plain ass Turkey sandwich and I legit tore it up. He got some crazy shit with f'n FRITOS on the sandwich! Whaaaaaaat??? I've never liked any weird shit like that, lol. He tried 2x to get me to take a bite. I was like...."want me just to save time and puke right now? Because just looking at that...makes me wanna puke" hahaha! It legit, for me, look like dog food on two slices of incredible bread, HA! Like the "Fresh Pet" dog food, haha! ANYYYYYwaaaay! This is a great lil spot. Very downtown, very posh, very hipster (said in my Sandra Bernhardt voice LOL ...If u saw her on an old school Will and Grace, you'll know what I'm tawlkin about LOL). It definitely has the hipster vibes to it. Lower level area to eat, outdoor area to eat, and a very cool upper level. I love when restaurants do that. When they branch out and have the boring, usual ground level, but OOOH! let's do an upstairs too! I mean, why not?!? They did it and it works. Yeah, I'm easily amused, lol. Staff is all super sweet. All very nice people and HELLO! they allow dogs in there! Any place that shows our TRULY SPECIAL ANGELS some love like that...almost always deserves 5 stars. I'm sure most have been here, but me being an old ass man, hahaha, yeah, this was my first time and it definitely will not be my last. Oh, and of course the most important part (for some) "is it expensive?" It's basically the same as any downtown casual restaurant. Pricey? Nah, not really. Probably just priced right. Enjoy, yelperetetteeees!!! Cheers!

Yelp
Update #3: This place continues to be my most favorite place for lunch. I even asked my husband to order their vegan sandwiches for my birthday party and everything was excellent! We have been back many times. Update #2: The owner personally reached out to me asking how they could fix my previous experience. I appreciate that they take pride in their business and look forward to visiting after the holidays once I'm less busy Update: I visited for the second time today. I ordered the mushroom/artichoke sandwich with no cheese and no onions on the salad or the sandwich. I specified I wanted it vegan. I received the sandwich with regular cheese on it and onions on the salad (I didn't send it back because I don't believe in wasting food so I just ate it). There was no artichoke visible in the sandwich. The whole grain mustard overpowered the sandwich. A bit disappointing after such a great experience the first time. Original review: Tried it today with a friend. The food was delicious, made with fresh ingredients. Flavors were well developed. Presentation was nice. Plenty of vegan options but they do sell out some items from the. The portions were generous.

Yelp
Great vegan and vegetarian options. Had the pastrami seasoned yam Rueben. Great flavors, large portion, overall a really good sandwich.

Yelp
An absolute gem here in Idaho. Came here a couple of weeks ago for the first time. Not originally from here, but their sandwiches are FIRE. It's an absolutely amazing sandwich spot filled with great vibes and tasty food. I, also highly recommend getting the lemonade if you ever get the chance because it's very tart and sweet. As for what we got from the menu, we got the PB&JJB w/ tomato soup ($12) and Peruvian sandwich w/ chips ($14.50). Overall, I would say we were highly satisfied with our meal and for what we paid for. The staff also made our experience much more enjoyable.

Yelp
Great sandwiches! The bread tasted like it was homemade and the fresh meats and vegetables made the sandwiches mouth watering! Vegetarian options were great. Service was fast for the lunch crowd. I will come back again.

Yelp
When life gives you lemons, the only way to deal with it is to go Lemon Tree in Boise on 10th. There's a magical elixir in form of drinks and sandwiches that have the ability to cure any of life's woes. Whether you are a omnivore, carnivore, vegetarian, or vegan, have allergens or just want to have a gluten free experience, Lemon Tree and it's crafty team of foodies are there to delight your palette and your senses. The restaurant has a patio, downstairs and upstairs eating sections. The staff and owner are the da best. The ingredients are fresh and the thoughtfulness that goes into each and every item really shows. It's like a lot of love in each soup bowl, wrapped sandwich, and mason jar of lemonade. Looking for something twisted, Lemon Tree has it in the form of mashed up conceptional sandwiches that otherwise wouldn't be built. Don't believe me? That's okay, I'll brought examples. DOUBLE RAINBOW: Slow-braised brisket, peppers, fontina, blood orange Dijon aioli, greens. VEGGIE RAINBOW: Roasted yams, fontina or vegan American, peppers, vegan blood orange Dijon aioli, greens These twisted specials don't last long so don't delay. What are some my favs? Easy The Big Cheese Vegan, of course, or the Mushroom Artichoke Cheesesteak. Shame on me not to add a TIP: Hey Lemon Tree is open for breakfast too. Breakfast sandwiches and hand-helds available Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 10:30 a.m., and Saturday & Sunday, 8 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Leave those vegan burritos in the freezer and grab a vegan Rizo burrito instead. Your mouth, belly, heart and soul will thank you later. Jasson and his dedicated & passionate staff are top notch and have really built something special in downtown Boise. We are very fortunate to have such a destination location right here in our own backyeard.

Yelp
Lemon Tree is the best place in Boise for artisan sandwiches, amazing salads, and craft lemonades. This spot has something for everyone with gluten-free and vegan options (vegan @ no extra charge)! The Turkey Boursin is my favorite sandwich and I like to get the half sandwich combo with a the savory oats side and a strawberry basil lemonade ($11.75). The Turkey sandwich has a creamy cheese, fruit jam, and roasted garlic. The savory oats are like a risotto -- it's unlike any other type of oatmeal I've ever had. Simply delicious! The salads here are HUGE. For me, goat cheese is one of those ingredients that whenever I see it on a menu- I order it-- so I love getting the Beet Salad. You can get the beet salad as a side but if you order the full sized salad you will be full and have leftovers! They make it really easy to order online and pick-up or get delivery! The decor and atmosphere of this space is really light, fun, and hip. The staff of Lemon Tree are all really great, you can tell they have a great team!

Yelp
Points on the rewards program expires. What a waste. Thought I could eventually justify a 15 dollar salad, once I got a freebie. Nope. I had 500+ points. Back to 150. Loyalty programs are important to customers they def should not expire.

Yelp
While Jesus declared to be the bread of life (John 6:35) this bread is a pretty close second. 10/10 grilled cheese, I needed this emotionally
