Husband and I tried this place last weekend, early in the morning when they just opened. It was really empty, which I actually preferred. The next customers didn't even come in until after we had finished up and paid the tab. It's super cute and cozy inside. I love the bench seating options against the walls and windows. They had cushions, which made it very comfy. The lighting in the restaurant was great (gotta get those photos, amirite?). There was plenty of street parking but because it is Old Town, it wasn't free but that's okay-- it wasn't super expensive or anything. The service was excellent and the food was very good. We were both pleased with what we got. My husband ordered the Meat Lover Omelette while I got the Bulgogi Benedict with avocado added. Both came with a delicious side of (I think) baby dutch potatoes. Yummy!!! I loved my Benedict! I'd say it was at least in the top three best versions of Eggs Benedict that I've ever eaten. The meat was perfectly marinated and bursting with flavor. I liked the spinach underneath. Everything was just so good. Our server came back several times to check on us and make sure we were enjoying everything. She was so pleasant and nice, so we made sure to tip a little extra as well. The one con was that it was a little bit on the pricier side, especially when we started adding things like vanilla flavoring to my latte ($1.50 extra for that syrup). Otherwise, there were really no complaints. It's a great place to go for breakfast or brunch with the girlfriends!

Lemon Tree is a hidden gem. This is my first time coming to this restaurant. I say a hidden gem because it is located off the Old Town Pasadena a bit on Holly. However the food were fantastic! Their service was excellent. My husband loved the Benedict he ordered. He had the crab Benedict which they actually use good quality crab meat and very generous. I ordered a waffle. It was super good! There are nice outdoor seating which would be very nice. The day we went were about 85° outside so we opt for the inside option. Parking- you will need to find street parking around the area. Download the "Passport" App to pay for meter in this Pasadena area. Very convenient. I do that all the time! Highly recommend you give it a try when you are in town! Good luck! :)

It’s my first time dining in and I love the California orchard inspired interior. The steak and baby potatoes were tender. The lemon tree pancake was sweet and tart; the lemon dill butter was a nice contrast. I need to come back and try their other items.

Here today for my Mothers Day breakfast and honestly couldn’t have found a better restaurant! The iced sea salt caramel coffee was to die for! Don’t even get me started on the banana foster fresh French toast and caramelized banana…OMG! The chicken and waffles with gravy, holy moly! We also had the eggs Benedict and meat lover omelette. The ambience, the food and the service, all fantastic! You must come here if you are in town!!

What an excellent find! We first went on a Sunday morning and ordered the eggwich sandwich and the regular Benedict. Both were so good (and so was the coffee) that we opted to come again Monday. Had the caprese toast and the bananas foster French toast. Both excellent. Both days were busy but not packed with folks. As others have noted, the prices are nominally higher than other breakfast joints, but the food was great, so we were okay with it. The service was a bit slow, but in these post-covid days, that has almost become a norm, so our feathers weren't ruffled by it. Food service folks deserve some grace and patience from the patrons.

I woke wanting something more than the same old breakfast and found this place on my way to work. It had to be fast so I ordered take out. Beautiful place inside. I want to cone back and just chill and read a book here. The ambiance is very welcoming and comfortable. I had the caprese avocado toast. Blasts of flavor! Exactly what I wanted...something new and tasty. My friend ordered the eggs Benedict. Wow are my words! If this is take out, I can image what dining is like. The staff was cheerful and greeted me with a smile. I loved it. I will be returning. They have outside seating as well. I love to people watch so that's going to be exciting. Come taste for yourself if your bored of the traditional breakfast your stomach will thank you.

Cute Neighborhood brunch restaurant serving American classics and pastas. Reasonable prices and good portions. Smoked salmon Benedict is standard and lots of avocado. I love their baby potatoes and freshly whipped dill butter 🧈. Service was good but had to wait 10 minutes for seating due to rush hour in the morning. Hope they can improve acknowledging customers waiting by the door.

I fell in love with this little cafe, passed it first try to find it, second time around we noticed the yellow umbrellas. We sat outside in the crisp air, great atmosphere, music was romantic. Coffee was hot and tasty. Eggs Benedict was so fresh with wonderful flavor. The whole experience made for a lovely morning bunch.
