Lemongrass & Lime to bring its Thai bistro to Summerlin | Eater Vegas

"A neighborhood hit since debuting in 2018, this Thai bistro is expanding to Summerlin by taking a compact 1,432-square-foot suite at the Vista Commons retail center (replacing a former vitamin store) just steps from China A Go Go and Mark Rich’s NY Pizza at the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Desert Foothills Drive. The new location will seat about 44 diners indoors and add a roughly 400-square-foot outdoor patio; permits filed predict daily hours of 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. (closing at 9 p.m. on Sundays), though an opening date has not been announced. Known for a lengthy, loyal-followed menu, it serves weekday lunch specials, salads, tom yum and tom kha soups, noodles, a range of curries including crispy duck and pumpkin, and entrees such as deep-fried catfish, grilled whole squid, “crying tiger” beef and lamb chops topped with a roasted Thai chili sauce. The expansion follows earlier plans to open in Skye Canyon Marketplace, a vacancy now occupied by another Thai spot." - Bradley Martin

Great thai place with yummy food and great service! You can choose your spicy level for each dish and it can get quite spicy. The short rib masaman was amazing. It fell off the bone and was so tender. The golden pouch has the same curry and still delicious. So crispy on the outside and comfy mashed potatoe on the inside. The pad see ew was good but the drunken noodle was meh. I loved the beef jerky, great texture and good flavors. The papaya salad is okay. The mango sticky rice is great, don't pass it up. I highly recommend if you're in the area!

Visited with my 6 year old son and we loved it! Food was phenomenal. Their spice level was hot for sure! I ordered level 3 on my pad thai and struggled I usually handle spice hahah! My son ordered the chicken noodle soup and he couldn’t finish it but said it was so “tasty”. We are definitely coming back!

After a full day hiking Red Rock, I was craving something special to reward myself—and I found it. Stumbled across a Thai chef whose food is absolutely killer. This isn’t just your average takeout—it’s the kind of meal that makes you pause after the first bite. I ordered the Panang curry, and let me tell you, it was divine. Rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced, it instantly transported me back to the streets of Thailand. Every spoonful felt like a warm, flavorful memory. Work hard, then treat yourself right. This place delivered exactly what I didn’t even know I needed.

– Perfect Spot for an Intimate Celebration We couldn’t have asked for a better place to host a small gathering after our private wedding than Lemongrass & Lime – VISTAS (Summerlin). The setting was intimate and inviting—ideal for celebrating such a meaningful occasion. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We sampled the menu beforehand and were so impressed that we knew our guests would love it too—and they did! Every dish was flavorful and thoughtfully prepared. The customer service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff made us and our guests feel so welcome and well taken care of. The relaxed yet elegant atmosphere added the perfect touch to our celebration. Whether you're planning a special event, a casual night out, or just stopping by for small plates or a full meal, this place has my highest recommendation. A true hidden gem in Summerlin!

This is our go to Thai Food restaurant when we visit Las Vegas. Nice neighborhood and good parking. The restaurant is clean and the service has always been prompt and friendly. Today we had the lunch. My wife loves their Curry and I usually have to go the Pad Thai noodle route but today I had to try the orange chicken peel. All of The dishes are fresh and full of flavor. The lunch comes with a delicious cucumber salad with a sweet and sour sauce and two excellent deep fried summer rolls. The mango sticky rice dessert was over the top.

Google
No wait, great service, delicious food. Lots of families there so it was nice for children and babies to be welcomed (it was just me and my baby). Food was hot and flavorful. Server suggested mango sticky rice which was delightfully lightly sweetened. The mango isn't quite in season so it was a bit bitter like so little bit bitter but I liked the sweet and bitter combo. We had the lunch special pad see ew and the regular drunken noodles. Lunch special came with cucumber salad and rolls.

Google
So delicious! the most tender Thai beef jerky I've ever had. Masaman was so flavorful, I had to be stopped from licking the bottom of the serving bowl. And the mango sticky rice was so cute <3 It's a small restaurant, so service is attentive but also a nice, laid back vibe. and importantly (for those whomst celebrate,) a beer and wine list :) I'll be back soon

Google
Cozy locals hidden spot. Here you will meet Suri who is working very hard to make your meal enjoyable. Tried the Pat Thai and the garlic eggplant with 2 cold Thai teas. Choose your spice level on a 1 to 10 scale. 3 is mild for myself. Food was flavorful and nice portion. Ordered the Thai sticky rice for desert. They serve it warm instead cold like other places. Will be return. I say check it out.

Yelp
A neighborhood gem just around the corner from me, and the reviews speak for the goodness you can enjoy here. A friend and I decided to grab dinner after volunteering all afternoon out at Red Rock Canyon. I had heard about this place but had never tried it. Quiet and intimate dining. Our server was most kind and helpful in assisting me with selecting my dinner. He also provided consistent great service throughout our meal. They feature a $13 lunch special Mon-Fri 11:30am - 3:00pm. Happy Hour occurs each weekday and is from 3pm - 5pm. I was not terribly hungry so I went with the cucumber salad and the vegetable fried rice with added chicken. I was very impressed with how fresh everything tasted. I enjoyed a hot tea which was insanely smooth and delightful. For dessert I had to try the Beignets with caramel sauce, a little decadent but so hot, so yummy. Good experience here and I plan to return. TIP: This restaurant has been voted GOLD five times for Best of Las Vegas.

Yelp
Just ordered takeout and we loved it! This place never disappoints. The only problem is everyone loves it. They were so busy it took longer than expected to get our order.

Yelp
Terrible service and terrible food. 25 minutes for a menu and another 45 to get food that is not edible. Seems like they are more concerned with the line of DoorDash pick ups than diners. Never coming back

Yelp
The best Pad Thai I've had in Vegas lately! The customer service was incredible, and the whole vibe of the place was so welcoming. The flavors were fresh, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be coming back. highly recommended!

Yelp
Charming little Thai restaurant. The customer service and chicken satay was very good. I did not care for the complimentary cucumber lemon water. I found the taste of the water off-putting. I prefer just basic filtered iced water. The chicken satay was very good and the flavor profile was what I expected. The portion size of the dish was smaller than expected for the price. Overall, it was still a very nice experience.

Yelp
Had lunch at this place with a coworker. There seemed to be only one person working and lunch time was pretty busy in this smaller place. The crab Rangoon's were a little burnt and did not have a ton of flavor. The orange pill chicken and the pad Thai was good neither were very spicy though. Overall the food was decent I don't know if I will be back because it's not somewhere that is super close to me plus it's more of like a lunch spot not as much of a horrible dinner and sitting down place.

Yelp
Decided to try this location because the other one I went to near skye canyon wasn't great. This location in the Vistas (Redrock area) was better. To me, their spice level is off because I ordered 7/10 but it tasted more like 3/10. However, the flavor of my cashew chicken was delicious and the 7/10 spice was perfect.

Yelp
I had seen some very positive reviews of this place and really wanted to give it a try. Absolutely some of the best Thai food I've ever had. It's a small spot, but decorated so beautifully and is very welcoming. Portions are very generous and the prices are very reasonable. The service was exceptional from start to finish. We had the fresh spring rolls with shrimp which were delicious as well as an order of crab rangoon, the chicken pad se ew noodles and shrimp panang curry. All of them were truly delicious. I cannot wait to go back and try more of their dishes!

Yelp
I LOVE this place. We came for dinner and they had many Vegan and Vegetarian options! We ordered vegetable potstickers, edamame, yellow curry with tofu and Drunken Noodles with vegan chicken. Everything was delicious! We also ordered the mango sticky rice recommended by my server and it was good too. Our server was great and the ambiance was cute and modern. I'll be back!

Yelp
We needed a quick lunch on a Sunday before heading to Costco. I was hoping for a lunch special (smaller portions) but it looks like they only offer lunch specials on weekdays. I started with an iced green tea and shared an appetizer of chicken satay which were both really good. K enjoyed the lemongrass chicken. I had the beef stew noodle soup which I also liked. It's a large serving with lots of beef so I ended up taking most of it home.

Yelp
Came in for dinner after seeing a movie and there were plenty of tables to seat since the servers are great with cleaning them and resetting! We always get the yellow curry with chicken, pad Tai with chicken, spring rolls with shrimp and pot stickers! We typically get our food for pick up but decided to dine in and it was the best! Sarah was our server and very friendly and very helpful with our dinner. The place is pretty quiet and relaxing and facilities are nice as well. Music is low so it's enjoyable for a peaceful meal. Make sure you sign up for their rewards program and enter it every time so you can redeem money off! Highly recommend and ask for Sarah!

Yelp
I found Lemongrass while picking up an order at a nearby restaurant. I decided to try it tonight. So, for a restaurant ranked Best of Las Vegas over multiple years I had high expectations which were not met. I placed a pick up order for panang curry with shrimp, arrived to pick up the order at the specified time, and had to wait 10 minutes for my order to be brought out of the kitchen by a waitress. A gentleman at the counter was busy answering phone calls and did not once acknowledge my presence until he had gotten off the phone only to say she is getting your order. The waitress reappeared with my order and apologized for the delay. Fine. I was starving when I got to my car so I opened the bag and to go containers to find they had given me panang curry with chicken and cold rice. I walked back to the restaurant, stood in front of the gentleman who had the nerve to again not acknowledge me and walked right around me. I cut him off and told him I received the wrong order and showed him my mobile order receipt. He apologized and said he would get my order. He immediately returned with warm rice and lukewarm curry. I appreciate how quickly the situation was rectified. But the rice was warmer than the curry. The flavor and amount of curry for the price was good. Customer service seems overwhelmed when the restaurant is busy and I can't really pinpoint why the gentleman ignored me when returning my order. I'll admit I looked like a bum and was in the middle of moving which is why I placed a to go order but that's not a reason to treat a customer poorly.

Yelp
Excellent takeout. I really love the crab fried rice, the green curry and the papaya salad. Nice and fresh.. and consistent.

Yelp

Yelp
Great service and engagement from not only the server, but chef. Tried all the social network and food bloggers Thai restaurants in Vegas, but by far in the top of all of them. Love the story of the owner.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise! Lived in the neighborhood for years but never tried until today. Friendly fast service. Loved the papaya salad, fried tofu (very lightly fried - nothing heavy or greasy about this dish) and cauliflower appetizers served with a perfect sweet and sour dip. Excellent eggplant sautée as well, though the real standout for us was Panang curry with tofu - one of the best we've ever had. Great value for price and a true gem of a place. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Visited here for lunch on Jun 4. Wonderful. Spouse had the green curry. nice coconut juice taste and lots of chicken. no skimping here. we had this for dinner too. i had the spicy basil w chicken lunch special. firstly, they serve a lot of food: two summer rolls (fried), cucumber salad and the spicy basil with chicken and rice. i was surprised i ate the whole thing! it was very very good and it was a great deal. i would gladly return

Yelp
Lemongrass & Lime is some of the absolute best Thai Food I have ever had. I have been there multiple times, and they are truly consistent. The service is great, and the location is around the corner from my house. So it's a regular go to for me. Do I recommend, of course. I always get the Yellow Chicken Curry, and my wife gets the Pad Thai, spicy number 4. But you can't go wrong with whatever you get.
google avatar

Yelp
In Vegas for a soccer tournament with my daughter and after a long day on the fields, we decided Thai food in the room sounded good to both of us. We ordered delivery from Lemongrass & Lime straight from Yelp and were pleased with the order... I imagine it may be better when you dine in, but it was delivered hot and still tasted delicious when it arrived. That being said, the Thai Spring Rolls were basically just shrimp and a lettuce mixture - not "mixed vegetables" or vermicelli noodles as we typically have elsewhere. The entrees we had were large portions and we had plenty leftover. I would absolutely order again or ideally dine-in in the future!
google avatar

Yelp
Wow it gets even better! Dined in a few times and the happy hour is killer. I think it starts at 3PM They also have dine in lunch specials on weekdays 11:30AM - 3PM. I tried the massaman curry for the first time and it is delicious

Yelp
No wonder this place is voted as the best Thai food in town! Lemmongrass and Lime has just made its way into my top 5, and it's comfortably sitting at my number 1 spot for the best Thai food ever. Our server and the restaurant manager couldn't have been more welcoming. We ended up here by pure luck as my husband had some errands to run and we thought of giving this place a shot - best decision ever. Even though they were closing in 35 minutes, a gentleman named Jonathan assured us we were more than welcome to dine in. Glad we did! The meal was priced at $78 - worth every penny. My husband loved his cucumber salad - a solid 10/10; and the shrimp spring roll got an 8/10 from him. Our son enjoyed the orange peel so much that he almost licked the plate clean. A two thumbs up from our 3-year-old and trust me, that's equivalent to a Michilen star in my books. Hold your breath for their exquisite and flavorful Tom Kha (coconut soup with fried tofu). I can't stop thinking about it and wish I had a pot full right now. As for my main, I relished the beef Thai salad - man, I could drink that sauce! We also got a Tofu Pad Thai to share, and it was hands down, the best one we've ever had. This place is a must-go, trust me!. The restaurant is clean and very welcoming.

Yelp
Been here many times. Ordered to go. Got the summer roll, papaya salad, garlic pepper with chicken & garlic eggplant. The summer roll was mushy and the garlic pepper chicken did not come on a bed of broccoli as described on the menu. I think I got the leftovers from their lunch special. The papaya salad & garlic eggplant had no flavor. It tasted as if it was prepared by a chef in training. And portions of the rice was mushy. Yuck! Very disappointing!! Will not be back
google avatar

Serena E.

Yelp
The portions are quite generous and the food is good. I'll have food for 3 lunches with my one order of panang curry. We will order from them again, no doubt. If you enjoy a real stinging bite, spicy level 7 is not enough. Get higher.
google avatar

Cody H.

Yelp
Delicious food and great service! Had a Thai tea and the khao soi, super tasty! Would definitely go back again

Yelp
After two years of takeout, we finally dined in! Service was 10/10 and the food was as delicious as ever. I was impressed by their happy hour menu. You get to enjoy glasses of wine for around $5 and various small bites between $4-5 between the hours of 3-5 pm. I love it here!
google avatar

Addie Y.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. Everything from the food, the service, the ambience, and most of all the personality of their start up story and commitment to excellence will keep me coming back for many years!! I have nothing to comment about that's negative, just that I wish I found them when the owner was still alive so I could thank her in person.

Yelp
This place hit the spot. I called in a takeout order of the following: chicken satay, yellow curry chicken, beef pad kee mow and fried rice (beef). (No pics because the food was good, I was hungry and couldn't wait to dig in!) Staff member taking my order was friendly, prices were reasonable, food was packaged neatly, and oh! I also received order updates via text. Too easy! I ordered all my spice levels between 3-5. So happy to finally try this place out! Craving satisfied!

Yelp

Yelp
The Tom Kha was fresh and tasty, the pork belly tasted amazing and presentation was good. It's a small quiet place but definitely a Summerlin local favorite.

Yelp
The crab fried rice was good. The soggy and mushy noodles piss me off, it was not enjoyable at all. :(

Yelp
After seeing that Lemongrass and Lime received yet another Best of Las Vegas honors for the best Thai food, my husband and I had to try it. And yes, it is definitely high on our Thai restaurant list. We made reservations as suggested. This restaurant does not open until noon and this location is small but it really delivered the goods!! We were served by "Elizabeth" who appeared to be the only server. She was on top of her game, and she knew the menu, could answer all our questions and was able to make recommendations based on their specialties and our preferences. The dining room got pretty busy while we were dining, and Elizabeth gave her full attention to every table. The food was very tasty, and the portions were generous. We started with an order of the summer rolls. While my husband thought they were too mushy for his tastes, it was fine with me because that meant more for me and I didn't waste a morsel. We had the chicken pad Thai and pad pak with fried tofu. Loved the big bowl of rice! Both were delicious! After seeing the menu, we already know what we are going to order on our next trip so we can continue to compare to other Thai eateries. This place certainly has earned their honors for Best of Las Vegas, Thai for 2023.

Yelp
First time here and it won't be my last. First thing I noticed when we walked in the door was how clean it was. Food was delicious and service was outstanding!!! Now this is how a restaurant should be ran! Amazing!
google avatar

Yelp
I only ordered once for take away. I ordered the Pad Thai noodles and the fresh spring rolls. The food was good, not greasy the rolls are good no noodles made it low carb. It's good for a convenient Thai food fix. I'll be back to try other dishes. The parking was tight, had to park by the grocery store to pick up my food. It's a little pricy for a takeout type place (noodle dish 15.00) but it was good. It has indoor seating but it's small and more of lunch take out looking place.
google avatar

Yelp
I happened to see a review for this restaurant on Yelp and was completely surprised. I haven't been in Vista Commons for quite a while and when I was, it was to go to Albertsons on the opposite side. Was I pleased to see we had another Thai restaurant in the neighborhood and I needed to give it a try! I had a play that night so I went in late afternoon. I was the only customer and had my choice of seat. It's a rather small place but it's very comfortbale. I chose a seat with a view of the mountains. A server brought me a menu and took my order for a Thai iced coffee. When she brought that, I ordered green curry with chicken. Their spice scale is on a 1-10 basis. I chose 8. (When I was finished, no wet nose and no tears=9 or 10 spiciness next time). The dish was very good! A good amount of chicken, many pieces of Thai eggplant, sliced bell peppers, and slices of zucchini in a rich green curry. The rice served with the dinner was a good size and enough to enjoy the chicken and green curry. Service was excellent. A very pleasant woman took my order and brought the food. The bill comes with a QR code so you can pay from your table by scanning the code. It uses the Toast app. Very convenient and very smart to do this! I found out they opened in October 2021. Now that I know about this good place, I'll be back!

Yelp
Amazing food and great service! Best Panang Curry and Pad Thai ever tasted. Must try sweet rice with mango dessert.

Yelp
We ate here after hiking the Red Rock Canyon and it hit the sport! I definitely recommend the fried tofu, gyoza, pad see ew (probably the best I've had so far), and the red curry. Service was quick and we were seated with no problem at 2:30pm on a Saturday afternoon. The bathroom ambiance was so cute - the inspirational quotes of joy and happiness put a smile on my face.

Yelp
The food I ordered was incredible!! Service was on point and made sure everything was great! From the food to even the water was just amazing . This place was very Intimate and music was on point with some holiday jazzy stuff and a decent volume . Will continue to come back here !!

Yelp
I want to start off by saying I am HUGE Thai food fan. Probably my favorite type of food. With that being said, I have been to so many Thai restaurants in the valley and Lemongrass & Lime is one of my favorites for their price range. Not only was all of our dishes delicious, our server was so sweet and attentive. The restaurant is on the smaller side but I did not feel crammed at all. I highly recommend this place!

Nick N.

Yelp
I came here for a happy hour and also since it's nearby. Pretty small happy hour menu of just appetizers, but overall, fine. Looked like they had a better lunch special. Looking forward to trying the full menu since they have a large selection of thai items
google avatar

Lori L.

Yelp
We eat here all the time with good reason! Never disappointed! Everything they do is with great care, including bringing you a jug of flavored water, like apple and cucumber... Hard to pick a favorite dish but I love the pineapple fried rice and their lemon grass chicken is out of this world! I've started asking for extra sauce that they deliver with the chicken to add to rice and pretty much anything else! The staff is always friendly and welcoming and manage-to take care of you very well in spite of constant takeout orders. It's very well decorated cute and clean local place! Take a look at the pictures and see the beautiful and delicious mango sticky rice dish The chef made this last week!!! We love eating in the restaurant and/or we often order for weekend take out!

Yelp
excellent food. So far I haven't gotten anything that I didn't like. It's made really well I love how spicy it is and it's my go to

Yelp
I watched this business open as a very close Summerlin resident. I wasn't sure if it was going to be up to standard taste and service wise so it took me some time to go. I finally got the full experience of these people and food. The entire family who runs this restaurant should have the biggest, best ( because they are) restaurant in one of our are casinos downtown serving Thai food. I've been to the top rated Thai restaurants in Vegas... And they stand nothing in comparison to the food and loveliness that I've gotten in any other place. I don't care if you live in Henderson, it's worth the drive. These are true people who have mastered their skills and treat customers as family. And... I don't know them from anybody else, so this is not one of those "friends" comments. They really are exceptional and I'm so excited for my kids to enjoy their dinner tonight after school. Thank you to the Shawn, Elizabeth and everyone preparing our food for this single mom of two teenage boys the time to relax and savor. Too many people are willing to complain before saying thank you. These people and restaurant are worth every single second. I'm typing to ensure they are acknowledged for their accomplishments. Thank you for taking care of me and my children. We will most certainly be lifelong advocates for your business. I know what it's like to be a business owner as I currently am. People sharing the hard work, dedication, and perfection of what they have mastered fives so much more than complaining about missing a plastic fork in your bag. (I got all my forks btw lol and with food this good I'll eat it with my fingers) Again, thank you to the company. You made my day and will now make my children's' night.

Barak L.

Yelp
This place is great. The food is super fresh, the service is excellent and friendly, and I love the ambience. The staff was super accommodating to us, which we so appreciate. We were really looking forward to tonight, and I think theysensed it. You Definitely have to try this out!

Yelp
Off the bat, while this is a small place it is amazing. It smells like every herb in the various dishes upon walking in. You are quickly greeted and sat (if there is room - definitely call ahead!). The staff is so NICE! It is incredibly refreshing to just be around kind people. Especially when they're busy juggling takeout as well as in-person dining. And it is SO well deserved that they are as busy as they are. The menu lists whether it is spicy, can be made vegan, or gluten free. The prices are incredibly modest and reasonable in comparison to the portion size. For example, this yellow curry is easily going to go home with me. The spice levels are listed from 1-10. They will help you choose and explain any item on the menu if you're unsure. So dietary friendly! They have a beautiful Instagram for their original location that I definitely recommend following. That is what lead me here because it was only 15 min away from home vs 30 for their other location. 10/10 recommend. Show this new place some love! Take your friends and family. The have wine only at the moment should you like some, but in my opinion this is a place where you want to focus your tastebuds on the amazing flavor. Whether you have a vegan, pescatarian, vegetarian, a meat and potatoes person not used to eating out (my boyfriends parents lol) or a surf and turf person with you they will ALL be satisfied. Enjoy!

Was in DIRE need of some Thai food, I walked by this place a few times and decided I needed to bring the fam for dinner. This restaurant location is fairly new and is right up the street from the Red Rock casino situated in a small shopping center. My husband and my two daughters came and ate dinner around 5 on a Friday night. We were sat super fast (must have been before the dinner rush). Everything on the menu looked so good so we decided to try a few of the different options. We opted for the chicken pad Thai, orange peel chicken, and the chicken fried rice. My husband tried the Thai tea... that was so delicious. The food came out super fast and was amazed at how good the service was. We devoured the meal prob in about minutes. Lucky for us the serving sizes are pretty large so we were able to take some home. This is definitely going to be my new go to for Thai. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and the service was top notch too.

Yelp
We discovered this little place not far from our home. The waitress recommended one dish and described it in such detail that we thought we were in an upscale restaurant not small place in a little shopping area. We both ordered different dishes and agreed that both had textures and tastes unlike any we'd experienced before. Try this out for a unique experience.
