I went for dinner at 6:30 on a Friday. I was the only patron in the restaurant. Disheartening for this modest, family-owned eatery. Ordered my Thai standard, Pad Kee Mao w/ chicken. The dish as a whole was pretty good, but it was a bit soggy for my liking. I expect Pad Kee Mao to be a bit on the oily/greesy side. But this dish seemed a bit watery. I still cleaned my plate, for what that's worth. Definitely not bad food.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Lemongrass Heaven – A Bowl of Peace and Perfection! If I could bottle up comfort and joy and serve it in a bowl, this would be it. The broth had the most beautiful lemongrass aroma — light, citrusy, and soothing. It wrapped around every ingredient like a warm hug from an old friend. The shrimp were fresh and juicy, the noodles were silky and satisfying, and the green onions and tomatoes brought a perfect brightness. Every bite had me sighing like I just got out of a spa. Peaceful atmosphere, chef’s kiss customer service, and flavors that make your taste buds praise the Lord. 🙌 I’m not just coming back — I’m moving in.

Google
Their spicy chicken and roasted duck curry are the must try!!! Also love their dim and romantic vibes atmosphere; perfect for dates. Oops! Their Thai tea is also good! 🧡

Google
I’ve been coming here for years and they N E V E R fail. Service is always kind and fast, food is always on point, and it’s never too loud when dining in. We literally drove from Arkansas this time just for me to have their swimming Rama with tofu!

Mandy M.

Google
Came here during lunch and was greated immediately. Everything was flavorful and delicious. I really enjoyed the spicy chicken plate, it was perfectly spicy. The prices here are so reasonable. We will definitely be back.

Google
True mom and pop place serving up delicious food! My family regularly comes here. Our favorites are the yellow curry, pad see ew, and spicy chicken. I steal bites of my kid's fried rice bowls too because it's so good!!!

Google
Atmosphere- very nice. Completely empty . We were the only customers. Ordered 3 different appetizers, and a salad ! The tomatoes were old and the salad was not even chopped any at all. The dressing was terrible, out of a jar. The spring rolls, crab Rangoon and fried shrimp. Were over cooked, and you could tell packaged frozen from Costco or Sam's and not prepared from scratch or by a chef, other than being fried. The waiter was not personable at all! I had heard so many wonderful things about this place, prior to going. And I went with the person who had raved about it! She was very very disappointed also and said this is not the same service or food she has had in the past.

Google
Don’t sleep on lemongrass Thai. Best Thai food I’ve had in Edmond. Maybe even all of OKC. We had the Thai tea, fried dumplings, fried spring rolls, Panang curry, Tom Kha soup, and the fried rice. All of it delicious, and very homemade. The service was fast; they opened the door for us! And they even bagged our food to go. The pricing is extremely reasonable. We will definitely return. Our new go to Thai spot.

Yelp
Love this place! I always feel welcomed & it's usually quiet in the mornings when I go and it's always clean, family owned! I usually get their curries but for their lunch special I get the yellow curry usually paired with white rice & pad Thai, very delicious! I've also tried the spicy chicken but it's not my favorite thing on my menu. This place 10/10 recommend if you're in the area or looking for a Thai restaurant to try out!

Yelp
There was an abundance of delicious fresh food selections to prepare for your hotpot at your table. It was a fun delightful experience. Very tasty indeed. The service was excellent & we were provided with great advice as to what to try based on our likings. The restaurant was very clean and decorated nicely.

Yelp
The food is amazing! My favorite Thia food in Edmond. The sweetest family owns and runs the restaurant. Highly recommend!

Jon M.

Yelp
Came to Lemongrass for dinner. I ordered the Sautéed Eggplant with tofu. The service was great, and they were so friendly. The eggplant was great! Sautéed with carrots, bell peppers, the tofu and Thai basil. The sauce was rich and very flavorful. The side rice was cooked to perfection, and slightly holding together so that you could eat it easily with the chop sticks. I will definitely return to try other offerings.

Yelp
The food is always to die for. I suggest the halogen spicy chicken. And the panang. Their lunch specials for the price you cannot beat. A lot of food. The service is always above and beyond. Always quick and perfect. The restaurant is great. And their kids are wonderful helpers. I wish more people would seek them out. We have been going there for 15 years plus. I'd like to see them stay

Susan T.

Yelp
We stopped in today, Food is delicious. Green curry excellent !!! Nice place . Definitely recommend. Excellent Service.

Eric C.

Yelp
You get what you would expect. The decor is decent but smells a bit musky and old inside. The food was decent but very salty by comparison to other times I have had the same dish. The service was there but nothing that shinned. The waiter seemed like he was the cook to the way he would disappear after taking orders for a while. Overall, I would try it again in the future but can't really recommend it. But for the price, can't complain much.
google avatar

Anitra T.

Yelp
Lemongrass used to be an Edmond favorite. I hadn't had it in so long and was dying for some Thai rice. It was good, but not the amazing flavor I remember. I'm not sure what changed, but something seemed a bit off. I'd have to go back another day and try again to see if they're back to their same great flavor.

Emily M.

Yelp
Always have great experiences at Lemongrass! Quick. Helpful. Tasty! Very quiet inside, but service is always prompt.
google avatar

Abby W.

Yelp
Still as great as I remember! I Got the clear noodle pad thai this time. It was amazing. Service was good. The clear noodle pad Thai was saucy and amazing flavor. I got a 2/5 spice and it was the right amount for me!
google avatar

Yelp
Take out tonight was from Lemongrass. Pick up was fast and easy. The cashier was nice and the background music was nice also. I had the pad Thai with spice level 2. I should have ordered a 3 as I wanted it spicy but not TOO spicy. 3 is the highest level spice available. I also ordered extra veggies and unfortunately hardly got any veggies. Overall the taste was good. I just need to order a higher spice level as their spice scale is different. The emphasis on extra veggies will made even more next time as well. I haven't eaten here is a while and wanted to try it once more.

Yelp
This restaurant was a huge disappointment. Do not be filled by the high ratings. The taste of the food is poor at best and nothing traditional or Thai to say the least. We came at lunch time when the restaurant opened and they did not seem prepared. Ordered Tom Yum soup and received Tom Kha soup (contains coconut milk). Owner told me this is how Tom Yum is made but menu does not state Tom Yum has coconut milk. Cod fish flavor was not good and the Pad prew with chicken tasted like a fast food hot and sour stir fry mess. Will not be coming back.

Cassidy S.

Yelp
LOVE this place always. Their lunch specials are perfect! Owner is so nice and always smiling! Usually do to go and it never misses!
google avatar

Donna C.

Yelp
The people are friendly and food is good. We have been going for years. Their Tom Yum is a family favorite.

Yelp
Wife and I went on a Friday early evening. Only one other couple dining in. The restaurant was clean with familiar, Thai decor. A/C must have been struggling as there was a large fan (water cooled) blowing away. Temp was fine. The food was good. I had the Pad Kee Mao at a 3 of 4 spice level. Must be toned down since it was not as spicy as you might think. They do have garlic chili to add, if you want. The veggies were fresh with just the right crispness and basil was prominent. Wife had a Pad Woo Sen with beef. Beef was tender and flavorful. Service was fine, initially. The server did check on us once. However, wife had to go up front for a box, and no one was there. After a few minutes, I walked up front and asked for box and check. Appears to be family run (two cute boys watching tv in a corner). Prices were very reasonable and lunch deals looked great. Will definitely go back, but probably for lunch.

Yelp
I love this place so much, I'm here once a week and I would go more if it wouldn't make me look like a stalker. Everything is good, the red curry is the best in the city, the pad woo sen is so tasty and unlike anything I've had, the swimming Rama is a must try if you like peanut sauce, tender chunks of chicken, fresh vegetables, the husband and wife team that own it are so nice and boy can they cook!! Support a local small business and go now!!

Yelp
Their fried spring rolls and crab rangoon are addictive. Especially those super yummy fried spring rolls -- large, fresh and perfectly cooked. I've had both their regular rice noodle Pad Thai and their glass noodle version. We were a house divided on it. Hubby thought it was good but a little too focused on the sweet. I on the other hand loved both. The large chunks of chicken were the most tender I've ever had in a Pad Thai. It almost melts in the mouth. I do prefer the texture of the usual rice noodles. I have yet to eat in-house, still being careful of the Covid. And since we've only ordered online I also cannot yet comment on their service. But we were very happy with our meals here and I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu.
google avatar

Crystal H.

Yelp
I got the red curry, it was really good. I loved the consistency of the curry, it was creamy & not too thick or thin. I did a pick up order so I can't speak for the service or the ambiance. Will return.

Nate J.

Yelp
Amazing food and very clean/comfortable restaurant. The staff and service were fantastic too, definitely going back!

Yelp
Real talk, I used to enjoy eating here but I just recently revisited and was not impressed as I had been in the past. For starters, the only drinks that they offered were water and hot tea, even though the menu had other drink options. I can only assume it's because they are short staffed (hence the help wanted sign on their front door). The food came out lukewarm, not hot. It made me wonder if they just pre-made something and warmed it up? I'm sure that's not the case...but it did cross my mind. Not sure I'm as excited to dine here again until there is a change in management/ownership. I really want them to succeed since they have been in Edmond for years! Hopefully they will read this review and make some positive changes.

Anna H.

Yelp
Food is excellent. Service is top notch. Ambience is a bit quiet, but peaceful. This continues to be one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the metro. The spicy chicken is to DIE for. All of their noodle dishes and curries also taste delicious. I love lemongrass.
google avatar

Christy S.

Yelp
Sometimes, you just crave some good Thai food, and that has been me lately. I found Lemongrass by its high ratings on Yelp, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the lunch portion of the green curry. It was a perfect balance of rich, creamy coconut milk and spicy green curry. They offered to add extra spice to the dish when I placed my order, but I declined, and ordered it regular. It had just the right amount of kick for me. The only thing I would have changed is that I would have added more chicken to the dish. There were really just about 8 small pieces of chicken, but lots of sauce. The atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect for a date night or lunch with friends. The lunch service was very quick as well.
google avatar

Yelp
From the microwaved pan fried dumplings to the raw snapping in your mouth chicken and the smell of the the sauce I ate like 8 bites and I had all I could take. My wife had the yellow curry and had to send it back due to the chicken snapping in her mouth I couldn't do it anymore.I just couldn't do it anymore the smell of my food just couldn't do it sorry. In the photo you can see the chicken I had to remove from my plate due to under cooked.

Yelp
There's no denying that Thai curry is maybe my all time favorite food dish so, I'm always on the look out for trying new Thai places. I know Lemongrass has been around for awhile but, this was my first time trying it. We ordered chicken fried rice, Panang Curry and the green curry and vegetable pad tai special. 10/10 across the board. The restaurant is dark but clean, quite and quaint. The curry was delicious on both sides. I got a 3/3 spicy on the green curry and I was obsessed. The Panang I did 2/3 and was equally thrilled. Will order again when I'm in Edmond.

Yelp
We thought we would give this place a try because we saw that they had 4.5 out of 5 stars on their Yelp rating. Upon arrival, no one was in the parking lot. That should've been our sign, but we thought maybe it was just slow because it's a Tuesday. I ordered the yellow curry with chicken and my husband ordered one of the Pad Thai type dishes with chicken. My son had the kids nuggets with rice. For an appetizer we ordered the fried dumplings. Soon after our waiter went to the back to put our order in, we heard the microwave chime and our fried dumplings quickly arrived at the table. They had clearly been microwaved as they were not crispy. They also were not homemade. They taste exactly like the ones that you can get in bulk at Costco. Shortly thereafter, our entrées arrive. My son's chicken nuggets appeared to be homemade and came with a side of white rice and sweet-and-sour sauce. My entrée was yellow curry with chicken. Within the first three bites of my curry, I caught a piece of chicken on my spoon. I bit into it and it snapped like a raw piece of chicken and I spit it out immediately. I thought OK maybe it was just that one piece, but the next 2-3 pieces were exactly the same. I tried biting a corner piece of them, to see if they were done and they were all the exact same- barely cooked. As I am figuring out what to do, I look over at my husband, who takes a bite of his dish and immediately spits out a piece of chicken. He is having the same exact problem with his. We had to go get the attention of the person who we believe is the owner as he did not come back to the table after dropping off the food. I asked him to remake my curry dish without any meat and he did. My husband did not want anything replaced. He just wanted to leave. He clearly had barely eaten anything. The server/owner was kind the whole time, but he didn't apologize or offer anything for our bad experience. My replacement yellow curry, with no protein, was more watery than the first go round. There was also some thick gel of some kind at the bottom of the bowl. There was a lot of flavor in that yellow curry, but there are barely any vegetables in the dish to speak of. All in all, I give this place two stars because: A) We saw him cleaning the tables with some kind of cleaning spray, so we presume that they keep things clean on a regular basis. B) The yellow curry flavors were on point, mostly. I'm still a bit shocked that we were charged full price for everything, particularly when my husband did not even eat his food. Also, as I am typing this, I'm starting to feel a little bit queasy. I'm not sure if it's because of the chicken or the fact that I was thinking about the chicken, but only time will tell. We will not be making a return visit. That I can guarantee.

Yelp
My son and I went here on a whim. The food was delicious. We come from Denver where there are a lot of good restaurants. Lemongrass did a great job.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the things I was sad about is they no longer sell beer. They gave up their liquor license. It is truly hard to find alcohol at a Thai restaurant in the OKC-Metro area. I ordered jasmine tea. They do it different. They brought it out in a large cup and no teapot. But they did bring sugar, which lately has been hard to find in an Asian restaurant. I had the Pad Kee Mao which they did well. It was a little lacking in flavor though. I also had the Tom Yum Soup does 99¢ with the lunch special. My friend ordered the crab Rangoon. It was gorgeous and I forgot to take pictures. She also got the chlad Wings which is a huge dish of Wings.
google avatar

Perri F.

Yelp
It's the ONLY place we eat Thai food in the metro. I've never had a bad dish and I've tried many

Judy K.

Yelp
Clean tasting, fresh food! The service is impeccable and the food is incredible. They are spot on when you tell them the heat level you desire. The Pad Thai is out of this world as is the chicken fried rice. Priced reasonably, we like to get it to go frequently.
google avatar

Kevin N.

Yelp
Best Thai food in Edmond/OKC area!! The restaurant is very beautiful inside but the food is what makes this restaurant of course! I was very shocked that this restaurant did not have a waitlist, speaking the food is so amazing. If this was located in nyc, there's no way it would not have a multiple month long waitlist! This Thai restaurant is most definitely underrated! I will be coming weekly for now on!

Chris G.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite places to eat. They have the best fried rice and curry. The Tom yum soup is incredible. We love their lunch specials and price. You can not go wrong with this place.
google avatar

Felicia P.

Yelp
The place is a hole in wall. It is in Edmond on Santa Fe and second st. I ordered the pad Thai and the sauce appeared to be more heavy on the sweet side. It was good nice; sweet and spicy. My initial reaction was not to like this because it was not similar to other pad Thais I have had. Would I come back? Yes but it will not be any time soon. I love my traditional pad Thai. While dining in it have learned it can be hard at times to locate your waiter. I wish the menu was more descriptive and listed ingredients. Overall great place for a dinner if you know the people with you. It is not that special inside.

Kalina C.

Yelp
Best in town! Always in amazing! Local mom and pop with the same amazing recipes since forever ago! This used to be my favorite place to eat as a child. I am now 23 and it is still my absolute favorite.

Tara T.

Yelp
Ordered dinner for pickup on a whim tonight. I opted for the Pad See Ew (spicy level 2) and it is absolutely delicious!!! The spicy to sweet ratio is on point and the chicken is cooked well. My boyfriend got the Jungle Curry (spicy level 3) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Crab Rangoon was yummy as well. No wait, order was ready in a timely manner. Will definitely be back!!
google avatar

Heather S.

Yelp
This is our first stop at the Lemongrass Modern Thai Cuisine Restaurant in Edmond and we were very pleased! This is a cozy no frills little restaurant has a wide variety of Thai options. We started off with an appetizer of Crab Rangoon. It comes with 10 Rangoon and dipping sauce on the side. It's probably the best Crab Rangoon I've had in a very long time. I ordered the Panang Curry with zero spice. The overall taste was perfection. The chicken was tender and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. The spice level was enough to have a little bite but not enough to hurt me later. My husband ordered the Roasted Duck Curry and thought it was fabulous. He felt the same as I did - that the spicing was perfect with just enough to have enough zip without the zap. The kids ordered the chicken fried rice off of the kids menu. The children's options consist of chicken fried rice or chicken tenders. Both come with juice and are very reasonably priced at only $3.95 per order. All of my kiddos thought it was very tasty! What can I say about our waiter? Well, he was extremely personable and highly knowledgeable of the menu. It's always nice to have a waiter who can talk you through the ordering process. Our server did just that but with flair! I ordered a Thai Tea to drink and it was sublime. My husband ordered Hot Jasmine Tea and thoroughly enjoyed his choice. This little restaurant is tucked away in Edmond off of Edmond Road right by Menchie's. This was a real gem for us to find. We will definitely be returning.
google avatar

Lisa F.

Yelp
Atmosphere is a bit lacking; however, the food is good, as is, the service. The signature fried rice (Lemongrass Fried Rice) is delicious. Get it as the lunch combo and it's well worth it. Take out is quick and delicious too.
google avatar

Kate H.

Yelp
Great flavors and a decent price on the lunch options! They were very friendly and not too busy when lunch started around 11:00!

Maggie M.

Yelp
Lemongrass is a quiet restaurant with excellent service and authentic thai comfort food. i love that it is family owned and consistent. highly recommend the thai basil and tom yum soup!!

Kathy B.

Yelp
Very good seems authentic pad tai. Service good food good. I'd recommend this restaurant

Edith Q.

Yelp
If there's ever a day I'm craving Thai food, this is my go to place. We've gone here enough that the wait staff recognizes us, and it's nice to see them greet others by name as they enter. If I had to pick one meal to eat for the rest of my life, the Tom Kha Gai soup is definitely at the top of the list. It has a hearty amount of mushrooms, and it's rich and creamy texture is just fantastic. Apart from the soup, our usual order almost always consists of Pad See Ew and one of their curries. With my most recent visits, I've noticed that a couple of times the spices were already mixed into the dish whereas other times the dish is brought out with a spoonful of spice atop it for self-mixing I guess. Maybe different chefs are doing their own thing? Either way, the meals are always delicious and the spice is on point. I feel like I can handle spicy food, and in most cases the spicer the better. However, I have come to really enjoy my two star spice, and I'm not sure that's something I'm ready to take up a notch quite yet. The portion sizes are generous, so go hungry or be prepared to take some home (leftover Thai still tastes great). Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Diana B.

Yelp
Placed my first Togo order and it was at lunch, got home , it was wrong , only one item and it was 11am no one there yet I was first customer!?
google avatar

Shahd E.

Yelp
Oh Lemongrass, I am so glad I found you! I love this place so much I bring out of town guests here that like Thai Food. They have the best Pad Thai in town! Their meals are very reasonably priced and they have really good lunch specials. The service is wonderful and the food is prepared at lightening speed. I've tried their egg rolls as curry chicken as well, both very good :)
google avatar

Chuck C.

Yelp
Enjoyed their food. I love Thai spices. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting Thai cuisine.
google avatar

Austin S.

Yelp
Me and my parents decided to eat here. The microwaved dumplings were good and so was my meal but both my parents meals had chicken that's wasn't cooked long enough. I don't think Gordon Ramsey would agree with this. But my chicken nuggets and rice were extremely good, but overall I think this is a possibly good in the district today.

Yelp
What a nice surprise to discover this gem of a restaurant in Edmond. We love the friendly & attentive service. It was quite evident shortly after we arrived that this is a place with many regulars & repeat customers. Not only were guests greeted by name, servers even knew the particular orders or desires of customers. Since we were new, we asked for recommendations. We started with a delicious blackberry hot tea. For dinner we had one of their delicious noodle soups & grilled salmon. Both were flavorful & very tasty. Looking forward to visiting this local spot again soon. Pretty sure it won't take long for the staff to learn our names, too. Enjoy!

Ryan S.

Yelp
When I walked in I was immediately surprised by the amount of people waiting for call in orders. As it was approximately 6 pm I just assumed it was due to the end of the work day. My wife had ordered 15 minutes prior and they had told her 15-20 minutes. I started this review when I had been sitting down waiting for 40 minutes. At one point the patrons began to try to revolt and a mass refund request was attempted. The workers either pretended or legitimately did not know how to issue refunds so here we still sit. Additionally, they keep taking orders and saying 15-20 minutes knowing there is no chance of that happening. Absolutely ridiculous
google avatar

Wesley F.

Yelp
This is my wife's favorite Thai restaurant in Oklahoma City area for a good reason. The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Usually we come here for lunch, tonight was dinner. I was going to order the Pad Thai, but our server talked me into the "Spicy Basil Noodle." Oh my gosh! This is one of the most amazing Thai dishes I've ever had. I wish I had taken a picture of it. Totally amazing. I will definitely come back and order the same thing again! Jasmine black ice tea was also fantastic.

Mary Y.

Yelp
This place is one of our regular favorites. They've been around awhile. I hope they stay in business forever.

Yelp
Great high quality Thai food - best in Edmond OK. Try their pad Thai with chicken and shrimp to whatever spicy level you are comfortable with..
