Wonderful visit with my brother. Service was excellent. All staff were kind, courteous, attentive, and welcoming. The robot service/ food delivery was a fun site to experience. The food was okay, the wonton soup was flavorful but the wontons were very thick and doughy. The avocado salad was amazing. The pan-fried dumplings were pretty good.

Lemon Grass is changing so so much and not for the better. Prices are skyrocketing, but quality is coming down. We as consumers understand that prices are up everywhere, but your quality shouldn't be. I am not sure if they are ordering from someone new or have new cooks or new management or what, but everything tastes off. And has for the last couple visits. This visit was the icing on the cake for us. The rice on the sushi was not cooked right, it was falling apart, tasted off (like fishy) and it was the smallest roll it's ever been. The green beans in my chicken and string beans were barely cooked. The chicken in it tasted off too. And lastly the nime chow was the least fresh its ever been. It was dull and not right. Something was way off tonight and has been. You can't keep increasing prices and bringing down quality too. If you want to bring quality down then prices remain the same. The consumer can't lose in both areas. Be better Lemongrass!

Google
This place has its good and its bad. It has some staples that are usually really good, but it has a lot of misses too. You just have to find what you like here and stick to it. We like the chicken wings, boneless spare ribs, pad Thai and Singapore noodles. The beef teriyaki are a hard pass here. My options are a bit limited being gluten free. Every time I try something different I tend to be let down. Last night we tried the chicken with lemongrass. It was bland, had no flavor or kick and was served with raw vegetables.. onion, peppers, carrot, baby corn. We took it home and sautéed it with some more curry and spice and it turned out much better. Also, every plate I touched last night was dirty or wet. This place used to 4 stars and has creeped down to 3 for me. Button it up a bit, lemongrass. This sign in the bathroom did make laugh.

Went there for an all-you-can-eat comedy night. The food was excellent fresh and plentiful the staff were lovely and helpful and quick and the comedy was fabulous absolutely side-splitting we could barely catch our breath we were laughing so much. Highly recommended

I recently visited Lemongrass in Warwick, and it was fantastic! The food was absolutely wonderful, especially the sushi, which was fresh and full of flavor. The customer service was excellent—friendly and attentive staff made the dining experience even better. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Plus, there's free parking with plenty of spots available, Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and a pleasant dining experience!

Our Bartender got Slammed tonight and did a FANTASTIC job in keeping her cool and powering through the rush, Next time in area for work this is def getting a return visit, hopefully seeing the same bartender. Jackie Great Job

Google
The place is below average. I heard good things about it so I gave it a try. Apparently people don’t know a thing about good Chinese food and sushi! Hint not going back any time soon or ever. The place is big can accommodate many guests, the wait wasn’t bad, the service was short! Our server wasn’t on point. I ordered sushi and I regretted it once it hit the table, my husband ordered sweet and sour shrimp and he ranked it below 4 out of ten! My sushi arrived to the table first then about ten minutes my husbands food showed up, that’s a no no My sushi supposed to have cucumber in it, after two bites I noticed it tasted funky, started to investigate….. it was full of cucumber peel and this pics proves it. Beyond disappointed 😔

Google
Having moved back to RI from Las Vegas, it's been hard for me to find good sushi in RI (surprising, I know). Lemongrass has decent sushi with a good selection of rolls. My husband always orders the sweet and sour soup which isn't on the menu anymore but they continue to make for customers who have been going there for years which is great customer service. The bar area has a good vibe and is where we usually sit (the bartenders are great here). Convenient location with plenty of parking.

Yelp
They have the best crab Rangoon, I had them do the catering for a birthday party, OMG, everybody went crazy for the crab Rangoon
google avatar

Marisol C.

Yelp
Lemongrass is pretty much always packed for dine in and bar seating. Even though it was packed I was seated on arrival. I felt my wait was a bit longer especially seeing they took the table that sat after my order first. My server was friendly. The vegetable shrimp rice was good. The nime chow was ok but the chicken lacked flavor. They do have an extensive food and drink menu. The prices are moderate.
google avatar

Yelp
great sushi! the rolls are a very generous, thick size. i couldn't even take a picture before my table ate them! i also couldn't help but notice what an amazing job our server did with the table next to us, with two very young children. when they were fussy her timing was always perfect to grasp their attention and calm them down. it warmed my heart.

Yelp
Just tried this place on a whim because there are always so many cars outside. We got fried rice beef teriyaki crab ragoons and general Taos chicken. The chicken was definitely just processed cartilage, didn't have a lot of meat. The crab ragoons were nothing crazy, they were just average. We also got an egg roll and a spring roll, which we did not like either. The teriyaki was good just dry, the rice was bland. Maybe they're known for their sushi I'm not sure, like I said we just tried this place without looking up reviews either. Would I order from there again? No, probably not.

Yelp
I have food delivered from here and it is delicious. I went there for a comedy playhouse last year and wasn't impressed with their buffet, but delivery was great.

Yelp
We've been ordering from lemongrass for years, but this time I decided to to try online ordering. When I called I was told I could only order the family meal online, and she hung up. DO Not Use the Masa website for anything. Awful to navigate. Family meal includes entree, appetizer, fried rice, lomein, and a soup. Great idea and great choices. But when my husband brought the order home there was only one soup and I had ordered 2 family meals! It's a shame that we won't be ordering from lemongrass again because everything is delicious

Scot S.

Yelp
Service is top of the line. Especially the bar Jackie is the best. Always attentive. Will be back.

Yelp
I just love this place! Everything here is so good the nam chow never disappoints. The basil fried rice is a must have. Sushi is always on point and ambiance is great in there as well. Such a well rounded gem in RI! Service is always awesome as well Ling never dissapoints always a step ahead of everything to make sure I have everything I need! Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Lemongrass has been my go-to for takeout options for quite some time now. I have gotten it maybe 6 times in the last year and a half and it never disappoints. There are some dishes that I've tried that have been lackluster such as the orange chicken (was extremely spicy to the point of not tasting it) but admittedly could had been the chef working that day. I typically get general tsos chicken, fried rice, some appetizers such as nime chow, crab Rangoon, spring rolls, etc. These are always great. The staff at Lemongrass are really friendly, nice, and the food is always ready super fast. There are some quirks about the menu like if you order any dish that may typically come with a small side of rice elsewhere, lemongrass never includes rice so you have to remember to order on the side. The serving size is very generous and I never feel shorted. The shrimp Tom yum soup is absolutely fantastic here, no idea how or why but the broth has so much more richness and flavor and aromatics than nearby Thai restaurants.

Irene M.

Yelp
The waitress was kind, recommended chilly paste when I needed to spice up the padthai. Sashimi appetizer I would not recommend, tuna was too dark in one corner, light in another and had a fishy smell. Husband did like the shrimp bockchoy. We set in a booth in the back, only saw the neon ambiance on the way out. The robot brought out the mains, had a pleasant voice. Would recommend overall, good value.

Mary D.

Yelp
I gave this place another try - it was worse than the last bad review I gave - I tried it again because I was hoping that maybe they had listened to all the bad reviews they were getting and made some changes but no, it was still just as bad and even worse. I ordered the Sizzling Beef dish which used to be one of my favorites - the beef was like shoe leather, the onions, were barely cooked i.e. hard and flavorless - - even the jasmine rice was bad - NEVER AGAIN - this restaurant is not what it used to be - for anyone who is not familar with the quality of food they used to provide, you would not understand what I am talking about - for all of us who used to love this place, you know what I am talking about.

Yelp
2023 Requested refund after suspected food poisoning. I was very sure it had to be a meal only 2 of my family ate and both got sick. Food is always good but things happen. The bad part is they couldn't help me the day I drove there because the owner/manager wasn't there. I had to leave town, so I left. I claimed the problem to my credit card but was denied because the restaurant said they owe nothing. It was just a small amount of money, and I was more interested in telling them what happened. I grew up in the restaurant business and suggest for Lemongrass to handle these problems in a better manner.

Yelp
One of our favorite go-to restaurants. The walnut shrimp is delicious. The nim chow is pretty darned perfect. Love the seafood Naruto and the sushi

Joan C.

Yelp
We have been coming here for years now and thought it's time to talk about Lemongrass. Staff is always very friendly and efficient. I notice almost every table starts off with Nim Chow. We like the shrimp one. They also have veg. or chicken. It's a tasty appetizer and the peanut sauce is so good on it. The sushi is very good here and they have so many options for rolls. The crab rangoons are another favorite and you get quite a few in an order. The combo plates with rice and eggroll are a good value for all the food you get. You will definitely take home leftovers. This is also a great place to get Chinese food on New Year's Eve. They have a very organized system for pickup! If I didn't mention the robots I would be remiss. It adds a fun element when you see the robot zipping around and delivering food and announcing "Here I come ". Kids and adults find it entertaining and it plays Happy Birthday songs for your special celebrations delivering the desserts. Between the food and the robot you can't go wrong visiting Lemongrass.

Yelp
Ordered from this gem for takeout. The food was delicious and the quality of service was impressive. Easy pickup and payment with a great atmosphere.

Yelp
So, I can see why Lemongrass gets consistently brought up when people ask for Chinese food recommendations in RI. We haven't dined in here, but I would like to! The exterior before you walk in the restaurant is unassuming, but the lobby area seems nice. There's a cotton candy machine for $5 and I read that there are robot waiters here. Anyways, this is review for their takeout... We've ordered the same thing twice now (two separate occasions! Not 6 dishes for one trip.) We ordered the House Special Pad Thai, House Special Combination Cantonese Noodle, and the Walnut Shrimp. A pad thai, chow fun/Cantonese stir fry (wide flat noodles), and a meat dish is usually what I like to order at Chinese restaurants. Pad Thai- I like it and it is what I expect from restaurant pad thai! However, one time the order had the noodles kind of broken into smaller pieces in the takeout box. Another, they forgot the fish sauce and peanut bits. For the pad thai, the fish sauce is necessary for the flavor... otherwise it is somewhat bland. Cantonese Noodle- again, as expected. I like it. Walnut Shrimp- it's very good and we like that they don't skimp on the shrimp. Customer service: it is fine. The flavor, quality, and portion sizes of the food that we've ordered is on-par and meets expectations. Also, the website didn't work last time (maybe someone forgot to pay a server fee or something?) Consistency needs a little more work, and I'm happy to be a repeat customer, so 4 stars.

Yelp
The food was meh but the brown rice was decent. Service was average and we were the only Asians eating there. The food was boring and came out to us at different times. The decor is terrible with plastic columns filled with different colored lights. Don't waste your money here unless you like average "Asian" food, lots of parking and disappointment.
google avatar

Rebecca B.

Yelp
It's cray busy here all the time. It's a bit much when you want to sit and enjoy dinner here. But the sushi is very much worth it. It's pricey compared to other places, but somewhat worth it. It's not spectacular, but then again, compared to other local spots, It kinda is. The sushi taste more fresh here and the noodles are pretty good too.

Yelp
I used to love going to Lemongrass a lot and I ran into a period that I didn't feel the food was as good as it had been in the past(different cook maybe?). I recently used the takeout a few times to see if there was any improvement? I can say that I really enjoyed the last few meals which I ordered. Hope the quality continues to be that good....

Sheilah F.

Yelp
I went yesterday to celebrate new year's eve with two friends. Went early evening to avoid crowds. We were seated promptly, no issues with food. However it was soon apparent that the waitress was trying to rush us out. She kept coming repeatedly to the table to see if we were "all set." Then gave us our checks and grabbed the money before i could calculate the tip. She actually returned to table questioning this. I gave the tip while quickly chugging down my drink, and we left. The next assembly line of diners were waiting! We vow not to ever return..especially on a holiday.

Laurie F.

Yelp
Everytime I go there , the food is excellent , so many choices of food to pick, service is a 10 high rated , love going to this restaurant, and everyone there is so friendly

Paula H.

Yelp
The food was terrible. Boneless ribs were very fatty & dried up, as if they had been repeatedly reheated. Fried rice did not have much flavor & looked as though some dumped in a can veg-all in it, plus it was loaded with scrambled egg. The twice cooked pork had canned shitake mushrooms, which tasted like the can & way too many bell peppers. All in all, the food was nasty! They were good at one time but not any longer. EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Mike A.

Yelp
Best food!!! The staff is amazing! Crab Rangoon was delicious! Restaurant has the cutest decor.

Dina T.

Yelp
Love the food and drinks here. Always consistent. Had two parties and they went very well. Highly recommend.

Kenneth D.

Yelp
I was not impressed with the service nor the food. Waitress kept going missing every time we needed her. It took us forever just to pay our bill. My PinaColada cocktail was so lacking in rum, it should have been a virgin PinaColada. Our egg rolls were dripping with grease. My lo mein had raw shrimp in it and the fried rice was not good at all. We couldn't even finish it. What kind of a Chinese restaurant can't make good fried rice? Restaurant was clean and we had a nice corner table for 7 of us. I doubt I will return

Yelp
Great food, value, people, service and ambiance. I Never have a bad experience there. I would post pictures but the yummy food goes to fast!

Yelp
Food is always great, service is always good. The only place I get Chinese food. We also get take out from here frequently.

Yelp
This review is only for the few special food items I am reviewing. I have tried other things and just was not impressed. Standard - not special. Very pretty inside at the bar - not so much in the booths, but it's fine. Service is quick and friendly and responsive to seeing if you need refills. These are my go-to foods to order. If I am not in the mood for these specific things, I just don't go. But when we go, I am happy to get them. Crab Rangoon - light, crispy and full of crab/cream cheese. Big portion ( 8) and light duck sauce dip. Really one of the very best crab Rangoon in RI . $7.95 Wonton Soup - this is a lighter version than some restaurants and while I love House of Wu's and Silver Spring, this is a nice version. Just a few pieces of green onion, and a light chicken broth. $3.50 Singapore Noodle - Chicken, Shrimp & Vegetable with Curry Flavor. $9.65 - I ask for it with NO CURRY, but love the mix of rice noodles with veggies, shrimp and chicken. Very tasty. Moo Shu Pork - (served w/5 Homemade Pancakes & Special Sauce). $9.25. No mushrooms for me but has a nice flavor overall. Would prefer the pancakes were a bit thinner and less tortilla like but the mix witht e pork is very good. So that's it for me. I have tried the Japanese side (sushi, tempura etc) but these are my favorites!

Lee K.

Yelp
Food and service are always 5 Star! Wait staff is friendly and patient. Drinks are out of this world too!!

Jill H.

Yelp
My takeout order hard actually shards of plastic in the rice. I didn't notice it till the next day when I heated it up as leftovers in the original take out box and found three pieces of plastic. I'm nervous because I ate half of it the day before and I'm scared that I swallowed plastic. This is a serious matter and yall should really take food safety seriously. Unbelievable.
google avatar

L S.

Yelp
Was a good experience. Food came out hot, sushi was fresh, drinks were very good. Basic Asian food on the menu, nothing over the top. Lots of people there and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Robot waiters were interesting, a little gimmicky but cool if you're into something like that. Cotton candy machine was in the lobby, wanted to try it, maybe next time.
google avatar

Tracey S.

Yelp
I ordered food delivery from this place, hoping that I would receive a filling, comforting, and enjoyable meal. While the portion size was more than ample, I can't say the same for flavor and execution of the classic Kung Pow chicken dish. The sauce was minimally spicy at best and one of the hallmarks of Kung Pow chicken is that it is supposed to be spicy dish. I might have been able to overlook that if the dish had rich flavor, however, it did not. The accompanying veggie rice was also on the bland side. The saving grace of this combination meal was the egg roll, which was not filled the way it could've been, but tasted the best out of everything in the order. Long story short, I probably won't order from here again, because after all the fees to receive the order via delivery and the lackluster food, there was no value here.

Amity R.

Yelp
Always great food and friendly service. Love their entrees and appetizers, their sushi rolls are also excellent.

Angela S.

Yelp
Sadly tonight I dined at Lemongrass. This makes 5 times since June of this year. Every time I have ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai. The first Pad Thai was one of the best I had ever had. Likewise with the second and third time. The 4th Shrimp Pad Thai I ordered for takeout fell well short of my initial experiences. It did not have the spice and flavor of the previous three. Tonight's order was truly not good. The shrimp were over cooked, small and dry. The normally wonderful noodles were long thin spaghetti. Since when are Italian spaghetti part of a classic Thai street food. I'm disappointed and expressed my feelings to our waitress. She offered me something else from the menu but in all honesty, I didn't want anything else. I just wanted the flavorful spicy Shrimp Pad Thai I had had previously. Quality and consistency keep a restaurant thriving. Don't let your standards decline.

Shanna W.

Yelp
Great food and lots of gluten-free options. The rice noodle soup is our got to. Go about once a week and never misses. Love love love this place.

Yelp
Blah nothing special food expected far more based on all the recommendations I've gotten from friends
google avatar

Ashley B.

Yelp
Delicious food, a must try for they're sushi.. it's so fresh and tasty and also everything is at a good price!!

John W.

Yelp
Food tastes watery as if it was previously frozen then microwaved for serving. I never had bad pork fried rice until today. It didn't even have the texture of rice let alone flavor. I took out 4 different meals for my family and spent $70 and ate about $15 worth of food. The rest is in the trash.
google avatar

Michele N.

Yelp
They do it all here! Their sushi and sashimi is very fresh and they have a banquet menu and partY room that made for an amazing and outside of The box graduation party that everyone still talks about! Awesome staff that are super attentive
google avatar

Linda A.

Yelp
Some of the best Chinese food in the area. The sushi looked great, and I look forward to coming back for that. We had a scorpion bowl and a pupu platter, both really great. The general chicken, though. Oh yes. Some of the best I've had in a while. Service was friendly and the space was clean from what I could tell. Overall, it's a well liked place and I can see why!

Mike L.

Yelp
Have been dining here for years. The menu is very large with different types of Asian food, all very good. The service is always great. Nice large bar and the restaurant is large with three large dining rooms.

MhyGlenn D.

Yelp
We have our party here for consecutive years but their service is the worst all the timeS It's an all you can eat buffet but they're very slow in refilling the food that make other guests hungry. You have to tell the server multiple times before they attend to your need. Last night will be our last party with them. Not recommending this restaurant. You'll be disappointed!
google avatar

Joe V.

Yelp
This is the best mix of Asian cuisine in all of RI! I love coming here and have no complaints about anything I have ordered to date! Even my Nephews loved it, I always take friends and family when they visit from out of town or state! I would highly recommend!

Susan G.

Yelp
This restaurant is always amazing!!! From the waitress Amber to the lychee martini!! A plus food and service!!!!
google avatar

Linda V.

Yelp
Food is not that good $14.00 for pad tai not worth it. Nothing in it. Bland. Lo mein noodles not good either. Don't think I will be going back.
google avatar

Jason D.

Yelp
The portions were large and the staff was friendly. I chose 3 stars because the taste, in my opinion, didn't stand out to me as anything out of the ordinary, I ordered the curry chicken combo with rice and a spicy salmon roll. The spicy salmon roll was the best part of the meal and was prepared perfectly. The curry chicken was decent and the portion size for the combo was hefty. The meal came with an egg roll, but I did not try it on this go around. My table decided to order dessert. A co-worker and I ordered a chocolate cake style dessert and another ordered the creme brulee. The chocolate caramel crunch was cold, appeared to be stale, and extremely difficult to eat. The dessert did not look anything like the picture. I could barely cut it down the middle. It was the consistency of fudge, but missing the flavor. I had 2 others taste it and their opinions matched mine. I was told the creme brulee was not up to par as well. The atmosphere was nice, pleasant staff, and the sushi was pretty tasty.

Yelp
Lemongrass is a step above a lot of the local Asian restaurants. For starters, it's atmosphere is beautiful, allowing for both a sense of intimacy and comfort. Beyond that, there is ample parking and seating, so despite the amount of seats, the intimate setting is appreciated. They have an extensive menu with quite a few Asian, Thai, and Japanese options. Nothing that's too out of the ordinary, so no points for originality, but Lemongrass is still great at what they do. General Tso's has a perfect spice level for me, but I've heard from some that their General Tso's is too spicy. If you're sensitive to spice, I suppose you should be cautious. Lemongrass has very delicious Miso Soup as well, with a rich broth served in a bowl much larger than other restaurants. They don't skimp on the portions here. We ordered a Three Delights dinner plate on our most recent trip. A bountiful meal that includes a generous portion on Chicken, Pork and Shrimp over vegetables. The flavor is great, and there is a perfect amount of shrimp (I always feel like restaurants skimp on shrimp, so this was pleasant). The only thing that is confusing is that it's served in a fried potato basket, but it's really just a stale and inedible addition to the plate. Prices are mid-range, no complaints there. I love coming here.
google avatar

Rhonda R.

Yelp
Crab ragoons and nim chow are very good. However, didn't care for Pad Thai, shrimp lo mein or fried rice on other occasions as bland, not enough seasoning or many vegetables and not piping hot.
google avatar

Jennifer M.

Yelp
This was our first time dining at Lemongrass. Upon walking in, we were very impressed with the modern decor and all the color changing lights they had throughout the restaurant. We were seated promptly, and the service was great. I never would have known about this place had I not posted a forum on here asking who had the best Nime Chow in the area. We started with Nime Chow (which was excellent) & the Ocean State Sushi Roll (8 pcs. Alaskan king crab, avocado, cucumber inside, w/ pepper tuna outside & mango sauce). For dinner, I decided on Shrimp Pad Thai (6 huge shrimp) and my husband had Spicy Shrimp w/ Lemongrass and Basil Fried Rice w/ Shrimp. Everything was pretty good; however, we both felt the sushi was a bit of a challenge to keep from falling apart. Also, during our visit tonight, we noticed they had signs posted stating as of 8/21/17 they will no longer be open on Mondays.
