The LEÑA is in a stylish location that combines modern design with an inviting ambience, our evening was a real treat. I was particularly impressed by the presentation of the meat. The dishes were excellently prepared and perfectly seasoned, so that every bite offered a harmonious taste experience. A particular highlight was the option to individually select the type of steak knife - a small but extremely stylish touch that rounded off the overall experience. One point that is also very important to me and was pleasantly noticed: the music was discreetly in the background and not too loud, so that you could have a very good conversation. One small point of criticism: unfortunately, the food cooled down relatively quickly, which could probably be avoided by using warmer plates. However, the service was consistently attentive and professional, without being intrusive, and made the visit an all-round successful experience. A restaurant that impresses with quality, style and service in equal measure.

Delicious high quality food at a reasonable price, at least for the brunch menu that we had. Their prices definitely run the gamut - from a $22 burger to a $100 steak. The brunch option is probably one of the best deals: $45 per person that includes 3 “entrantes” or sharing plates, then a main dish (we had 4 options to choose from), then a dessert, and coffee. They also offered orange or detox (think: kale + lemon) juices and water throughout the meal included in the price. Overall, we ate fantastically well, the servers were very professional, the food was awesome and it made for a really lively and positive brunch experience. We made our reservation for 11.30am, and finished by 1.30pm (they seemed to need to get ready for the lunch crowd that would start soon, so they gently signaled we had to start wrapping up with non-verbal cues, which is fair, we never really felt pressured though). Absolutely try this place at least once, you will not regret it.

I have tried this restaurant with my friend, the avocado salad and cheese for start were great. And also we tried tuna and solomillo, the meat are good, but not as amazing as the salad. The environment of the restaurant is dark but fancy. A nice place to spend time with friends.

Been to Leña Madrid before in May this year and now it’s a very big difference in service experience. Also, want to mention, that food quality is nothing compare to Dubai one. Service is terrible, you really don’t know who is your waiter, nobody introduce themselves. Bread served with foie was burnt and we asked to replace it, but was brought by another waiter same burnt. Nobody asked how is the food, how is the steak? Steak was cut in very thin slices, which made it taste dry. After, we asked for salt for steak and voila: lady spilled salt on table and even didn’t apologize. Terrible experience for this kind of restaurant, even didn’t want continue with dessert. After asking for a bill 3 times, it finally arrived. 🤣 Only negroni was good.

Great restaurant. We went there for dinner and we started we some cocktails. Good offering and great presentation, I took one with Gin and apple, very fresh and not too sweet. Food is amazing, the meat is well cooked and super tender, you don’t need any extra sauce because it tastes great. Dessert was also good, very flavorful. Service is attentive and fast, we felt really well through the whole night. Location is fancy and highly curated. Definitely worth trying, so highly recommended.

Been there for lunch with a friend, enjoyed foie and meat “by granny recipe” despite the last one was very fatty and oily.. tenderloin steak paired with glass of Rioja for the main corse. The place is quite dark, so better to visit for dinner I guess.

The Lena Madrid is a world class restaurant located immediately next to the Hyatt Regency Hesperia Hotel (underground). The entrance is dark, grand, and cave-like as you descend the stairs. Once you enter the restaurant you are greeted with the murmur of happy guests and the smells of grilled meats. My wife and I had (early) reservations at 9PM and we were seated immediately at a large comfortable booth. The table was set beautifully with a very nice tablecloth. Our waitress, Andrea, spoke perfect English and took great care of us and we had a night to remember. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a large wine room, visible through a glass wall. The kitchen is also visible from the dining room and part of the dining experience. I particularly liked watching the grill team work! They made magic happen with their charcoal. For starters we had the SMOKED BURRATA AND ROASTED PEPPERS SALAD and the VEAL SWEETBREAD. The burrata was plated beautifully, but it was not for me. I am sure it was delicious if you know what to expect. The veal on the other hand was spectacular and I recommend that you don't let the thoughts of sweetbread hold you back. For our main my wife had the CHARCOAL-GRILLED SALMON LOIN with a side of GREEN ASPARAGUS AU GRATIN and I had the CHARCOAL-GRILLED TENDERLOIN (medium rare) with a side of ONION AU GRATIN WITH TRUFFLE. The salmon had a beautiful crispy skin, and was well seasoned. My wife liked the salmon and finished all of her asparagus. But, for me, I found the fish itself to be a bit dry. It is probably impossible to have crispy skin and moist fish cooked on a grill. My steak had a gorgeous char, was properly rested, and was well seasoned. The onion au gratin was delicious and paired nicely with the steak. The only other thing I will say about the steak is that my medium rare was closer to rare. That was not a problem, but if you like your steak less red I suggest you order it medium. Regardless, I would order it again - and my wife and I would definitely dine here again. If you are staying at the Hyatt the Lena is a must do. Enjoy!
