Set in a beautiful, intimate basement space with dark, moody lighting, Lena offers a refined yet vibrant atmosphere that secures its place as one of Madrid’s premier steak and grill houses.
The menu covers the full spectrum—from veggie and meat starters to small bites and an impressive selection of premium cuts and seafood. Dinner began with warm sourdough bread and hand-turned butter topped with Black Sea salt, a simple but unforgettable start. I followed with perfectly charred leeks layered with mustard and ham, offering great depth of flavor, and then a yakitori chicken skewer glazed with Asian soy, cooked to perfection.
For the main, I chose the 200g Iberic pork loin, which was tender, flavorful, and elevated by a side of asparagus au gratin—rich, creamy, and well-balanced.
Overall, Lena delivers on both atmosphere and food, with thoughtful touches across the board. Just be sure to book ahead, as reservations are required.
