Google
Absolutely delightful bowl of fish soup with noodles! The sliced fish pieces are fresh, the soup is clear yet flavourful with some vegetables, tofu & tomato. A meal to have if you want something light and healthier. The stall is manned by a middle aged couple, and the auntie is very attentive and takes customers orders like a pro. Take note that they don’t sell fried fish soup & they don’t add milk into their soups.

Fish was very meaty and juicy, portions was very generous with a lot of ingredients, juicy tomato, and tofu. The price was very affordable for its portion. The store owner was very sweet. Would recommend for anyone coming to visit

Google
Fresh batang fish in clear light soup, the freshness of the thick fish slices dominates the bowl of flavours, some may prefer to add a dash of soya sauce &/or chopped chilli. Served with noodles or rice. Be prepared for a queue during peak periods.

Google
$4.50 for a bowl of fish soup and rice. Fish, although it did not have that distinct freshness of other famous stalls, was still good. For the price, no complaints.

Google
Always buy her fish soup, and cross to the opposite stall to buy the pig trotters. Gererous portion and sweetest aunty ever. Best combi of fish soup and pig trotters.

Google
very generous portion. Fish was very fresh. First time having fish soup without milk, really good!

Google
Clear tasty fish soup with generous servings of fish slices. The fish slices were thick and fresh too. It’s rare to have such a comforting bowl of delicious and healthy soup to go with your diet. They definitely got the seasonings and ingredients to go with the soup just right. I have always noticed there’s a queue for this stall as well even way past dinner time.

Google
Saw a snaking queue and decided to try too! Not a long wait despite the queue. The broth was flavourful and very clean. Generous amount of fish. Good bowl of fish soup!

Yelp
Loved everything about this place! All stalls we tried were so good. Recommended by a local and we took the train to get there and had a nice walk there. Coming back we just took the taxi to save some energy. But highly recommend! Don't go too early as there were still lots of stalls still closed.

Yelp
The 5 stars is for the Steam the Best store. The clay pot rice won't reopen until 2/23. I'm happy with this store.

Yelp
This bowl of Q Q mee pok has now made me a mee pok person only at this stall. Flavourful noodles with soft and tender pork meat and pork lard! Hosay Mee Pok @ ABC Market

Yelp
I came here on a weekday and it wasn't terribly busy. There is a good variety of cuisines here and plenty of seating. I tried this one Thai shop and thought the food was quite good. It was great to see them make the food fresh right in front of you. I got the red curry and it was so fresh and savory. I would definitely eat here again. My friend got the Hainan chicken and rice dish from another stall and was pretty decent.

Yelp
One of the better hawker centres in Singapore. Unfortunately, some of the famous stalls (eg. Ah Er Herbal Soup which earned a Bib Bib Gourmand, or Claypot Rice which earned a Hib Hib Hooray) are only opened in the evening. For lunch, there are still plenty of delectable options, like Fatty Cheong Roast Meats, Hosay Mee Pok, Penang prawn mee, etc.

Yelp
One of the all-greats in terms of hawker centres in Singapore! Am just gonna highlight some awesome stalls less mentioned here. Fatty Cheong... NOODLES! Right at the back besides the road. Umami char siew if u order their wanton noodles. Wonder if they got the same char siew from the roast pork stall. Wells the coffee beside this noodle stall is OUT of this WORLD!! Special mention to Four Seasons Ching Teng at #01-46 for a terrific cooling dessert that is not authentic and doesn't skim on ingredients. The #01-47 wouldn't lose out to any satay bee hoon stall in Changi or East Coast and is well worth a try! Many stalls are closed in the evening weekdays. The above stalls are still opened though. If you miss out on the famous Fatty Cheong roast pork rice, don't be disheartened because there are plenty more stalls to explore and they are no less outstanding!!

Yelp
This is pretty nice as hawker centres go. 1) Open air parking right outside although it gets busy. Need a little patience to wait. As it's by the minute, people don't linger as long. 2) A really good mix of popular stalls. Fatty Weng for char siew (they close early), Tong Fong Fatt for chicken rice, Gu Zao Ren Taiwanese Porridge (open till late) - good for porridge or dishes with rice, 2 popular fishball stalls, Yi Sheng Hokkien Mee right at the back, Yuan Yuan Claypot Rice (pre-order or it's a long wait), Jin Jin Dessert Stall (again at the back and needs a queue but they are efficient), satay and chicken wing, carrot cake and orh luah (oyster omelet) are all popular. Prata and malay stalls at the back row abound, a few are still open at night. The mee goreng shop is not bad. 3) Strong fans installed in most places. Some places are cooler than others. 4) Drinks stall - chilled water just $1 for a bottle. Gosh! This is my 100th review!

Yelp
My most favourite hawker!!! The variety of cuisines available is just awesome, so many to choose from! We would really travel from Sengkang all the way to Alexandra just to eat at this hawker place! Worth the visit and such great value for money.

Yelp
I hardly eat at hawker centers but i sure wouldn't mind dining here. There's a jiaozi (dumpling) store that does rather good fried dumplings. I heard that you can buy the chilled/frozen ones to cook at home. Dumpling party anyone? The bakery next to Fatty Cheong roast meat is also darn awesome. I had the Raisin cream bun post lunch and i couldn't help myself but to finish the fluffy creamy and piping hot bun. Freshly baked goods are the bane of my life. There's some nanyang sth drink store which you should NEVER buy from. My yuan yang was so darn diluted i could kill someone. Always give a girl her proper coffee when she needs one.

Yelp
Ah Er Soup is my favourite stall to visit for a good big bowl of Cantonese hot soup. Even the most expensive bowl of soup is only $6.50. Don't be scare by the long queue as it clears up very quickly. Operation Hrs 11am - 2pm, 5pm to 8pm (Monday - Friday, Sunday). Closed on Saturday (let them rest la)

Yelp
Lots of great food here, and stalls like Taiwan porridge open till late at night. - Taiwan porridge and at least two other really good cze char stalls - Fish ball noodles and bak chor mee - Fatty Cheong roast - Popiah ($1.50 but really good one) - Claypot rice (starting from $10 for 2 persons) - Tong Fong Fatt Chicken rice (not bad, above average, but a little salty) - Orh lua / Oyster omelette (the best in my opinion) - Fried hokkien sotong mee (also the best I've had) - Dessert stall opposite sotong mee stall (gangster ice "liu mang bing" = durian and mango ice haha) - Three pretty decent western food stalls - Penang laksa and penang fried kway teow Plenty of choices, buy something from any of the stalls above and you're guaranteed a good dinner.

Yelp
Frequently visited for Fatty Cheong's roast meat, claypot rice, kway chap, and now this amzeball place is housing Ghim Moh Market's signature carrot cake stall (for the next 15 months)! Went this morning specially for the Ghim Moh carrot cake and Fatty Cheong, only to find Fatty closed. Substituted with roast meat from the stall in the dry market (next to tofu stall) - equally satisfying!

Yelp
Definitely try: - chicken rice - fish head bee hoon - roast pork - chendol in fact, theres so many good food here that it's just difficult to go wrong. Beware of the lunch crowd though, it gets very crowded and noisy with all the people working in neighbouring estates/ offices so it can get pretty difficult to find a table!

Che Yan L.

Yelp
Great market with many good cuisine! huge recommendations for the chicken rice, the ngor hiang store, the hokkien mee, and the carrot cake!

Yelp
I could say this is stellar, just like many other rockstar hawker centres... but do they have so many awesome stalls in ONE PLACE!? Dad raves about the Fatty Cheong roast meats (01-120). Regularly. And we live on the other side of the island... so it's kind of a big deal. The last time we ate here, he spent so long talking to the owner about the charring on his char siew, and our food got cold. That doesn't happen with my dad. It just doesn't. So yes, he's a little fanatical about it. As luck would have it, Mum's mad about the little bakery next door. Two ladies bake (yes, in that tiny 3m x 3m stall) some awesome buns which smell mega awesome. We left some in the car to say hi to my aunt... 30 minutes later we returned to a car I wanted to devour. And of course, there's the POWER CHENDOL. Head around the back, to 01-20, otherwise known as JIN JIN Hot/Cold Desserts. Sure, they've got shaved ice with mango, and that's not bad. Sure, they've got 12 types of jelly to eat with your ice kachang (though I might have been counting with "chendol lust" eyes). BUT DO NOT LOOK PAST THE POWER CHENDOL. YOUR TASTEBUDS WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU IF YOU DO. And at a $1.50, can you really live with yourself if you don't get some? Witness the magic yourself: http://s3-media1.ak.yelpcdn.com/bphoto/n62TS0jVl_n732kuzOQELg/l.jpg Fast food junkies, If you don't get enough to eat inside, there's always the takeaway KFC right next to the ATMs. Seriously, who has a KFC in a hawker centre!? If I haven't said enough, this should sum it up: it's awesome here.

Yelp
This is definitely one of my new favorite spots. Since moving here, I was afraid I wouldn't find any good (cheap) Mexican food. The stall here does not disappoint. Authentic Mexican, no TexMex stuff here. Juicy meat and fresh toppings make the tacos perfect. I also enjoyed the duck quesadillas. I recommend this to anyone who has ever been to Mexico and is sick of paying so much for a good taco in Singapore.
