San Francisco’s New School Jewish Deli Wise Sons Is Opening in West LA - Eater LA

"Lenny’s closed on July 28, and Wise Sons will begin a quick remodel, which means the heralded Bay Area deli could open sometime in the next few months. In 2013, Lenny Rosenberg bought Junior’s Deli and converted the restaurant into Lenny’s. Jonathan Gold grew up going to Junior’s every Sunday, and even spoke highly of the lox platter at Lenny’s. Great food but the waitress didn’t listen to our orders very well. I asked for a half sandwich, I got a whole. Another one of us asked for potato pancakes and she got coleslaw.

I wish I could give -1 star...The dirtiest bathrooms I've ever experienced. Ive brought it to management a few times and the just say "sure we will get on that".

Good food. Have to try the potato triangles next time. Really looked good. Great pickles. Will have to come back for more. Aug. 17. 2029. Went for a soup and sandwich with my mom and they closed down for good. Now I have to look for another Jewish deli my mom will like close to her home. Not going to drive to the valley.

The food and service was superb👍 I thoroughly enjoyed the Corned Beef sandwich on rye bread with mustard. The portions are beyond generous. I had the 1/2 sandwich and I am full. The potato salad was delicious. Oh let’s not forget the pickles. Next time I will try the potato pancakes. I will definitely go back!!

Great food and good quality. Prices are very reasonable and good value Free one hour parking. We go there quiet often. Try the Matzo Ball soup, it's huge!. Classic deli sandwiches and a big menu. Plenty of sitting room. Breakfast is good as well.

their selection is amazing. Some dishes, the majority, are tasting like like they were made in mom's kitchen. Daily specials make it a great choice for take out. And the diner area is just as good for a sit down dinner. Last time I got mushroom barley soup, roasted chicken, and took home matzo ball soup for a sick friend. They gave me a ton of bread slices to take home.

Service Service Service is what's wrong with this Restaurant..one cares to help you . Bakey no one there turn at cashier no one there ..deli no one there today. This is today so yesterday went into Dining room no one there to seat you is go the counter to eat. No one came over with water or menu nothing left. What the F#$k is wrong with restaurant? Do they not need business ? Or they don't want Customers. Money Laundries? Or something just the worst service no one cares. Poor Management away comes from the Top down. Good food just now the service sucks. Review update Lenny's is Closed for Business as of 07/30 now I know why the service problems
