What a hidden taco gem! This was our first visit, and we’re so glad we discovered it. We sat outside on the cozy porch under string lights, and it made for the perfect evening. The margaritas were spot-on, and the food was bursting with authentic, fresh flavor. As someone who’s gluten-free, I was thrilled to see they offer GF wraps for burritos and quesadillas — such a thoughtful touch! Can’t wait to come back and hopefully snag a seat in Lenny the Monarch’s booth.

5 stars! Great ambiance, great location, good vibe, outdoor seating in the deck is perfect. The food was great. Baja fish taco combo was amazing. My wife had the carnitas track and loved it. The mojito was refreshing on a hot day like today (85⁰). I'll definitely recommend and return next time I'm in town.

This hidden gem is well-worth driving with its awesome ambiance, vibe, and food. The relaxed atmosphere and fact that it's tucked away on the first floor gives it this unique feel inside and the Mexican menu and tropical drinks will make you feel like you're on vacation. Service was excellent and attentive, and the outdoor seating area is great although the tables are a little on the smaller side. The vast indoor area has some awesome posters and vinyl decorations and a nice long bar where you can enjoy some food and crush some island-inspired drinks. My taco salad ($17.95) was both ample and tasty as was my wife's daily special which was a chimichanga ($19.95). Their chips and guac ($9.95) were also super tasty as was our hibiscus Mai Tai ($13). My kid also dug the quesadilla and rice option they had alongside a few other available dishes on the kids menu. Marisol was awesome and we'll definitely be back.

Sat at the bar - my wife had a glass of Sangria $12 and rice bowl. Both were good from her perspective. I had a lemonade and 2 chicken tacos. Tacos were awful: dry, with overcooked chicken and limp, tasteless tacos that seemed like they had been steamed. Bartender never followed up to ask about our food, and only offered a refill of my lemonade shortly before we were leaving. Only two other people at the bar - so not as if any of the three bartenders were preoccupied. Disappointing.

I love Mexican food probably eat Mexican twice a week for past 15 years. And living in Hingham there are a few close by options. I really want to like Lenny’s We went to Lenny’s because we were in Cohasset for an event, and have been to Lenny’s a good amount before so knew it was an option for a quick-ish bite with our toddler. The location and vibe are great, and we were seated quickly. It is kid friendly with high chairs and friendly staff and patrons. The food is mostly where there is room for improvement. The guac was a little too salty, although our toddler loved it so can’t complain much. I’ve had a number of their entrees, and I’m on the hunt for a “good” one. This time I got the bowl with chicken, and it was pretty bland and just kind of awful. A Mexican bowl these days is a stable, and very easy to make, I know I make them at my house and order at places all the time. The chicken was overcooked and chewy with no flavor, the rice was undercooked and still crunch, and everything else in the bowl was lackluster and forgettable. I’ve had the enchilada (slightly better), burrito (used to be good during Covid), and I can’t remember if I’ve had the tacos. But to reiterate I have found anything I really like yet unfortunately, because I really want to like it! I will try Lenny’s again for the location, vibe, and staff, and cause Mexican is one of my favorite foods. please suggest something that is good or tinker with your recipes to make these staples better! Last service was great, but I would appreciate if they offered hot sauce when delivery the entrees. Best, luke

A very interesting hole in a wall mexcian restaurant. Randomly came across this establishment and had a late lunch and a margarita. Server was pleasant and attentive, food was good and seasoned well. Will recommend & revisit

Food was great. It was very quiet when we arrived. Only a few people. However the service was terrible! After the waitress gave us our food and we did not see her for 20 minutes. We ordered dessert and then she came back 10 minutes later and told us one of the items was not available. Took another 10 minutes for dessert. Multiple flies are seen on the windows near the booth section.

Very new place in an off street location, not marked yet so you need to know where to go. However I wouldn’t rush. The place hasn’t changed it’s look since the last one so pretty basic. The food is mediocre and like the drinks, overpriced. My carne asada and carnitas tacos were fine, a little soggy though and fell apart. My wife got the swordfish special as seen in the photo. Barely any fish or anything else in it for that matter. Very disappointing. The salsa and guacamole were both tasteless and in small portions. Good draft beer selection though and friendly service. Unfortunately it took over 20 minutes to get my second beer, which came well after everyone was done eating, but they comped it. Which was nice. We probably would t go back though.
