Tony Fortuna, Upper East Side’s ‘Ultimate Restaurateur,’ Has Died | Eater NY
"Opened in 1995 in partnership with Charlie Palmer on the Upper East Side, the Lenox Room was noted by the New York Times in 1996 for Fortuna's 'warm hospitality,' which helped cultivate a loyal following." - Melissa McCart
Little hidden spot for cigar lovers. There is a Davidoff lounge tucked in the back of this hotel lobby bar. Great little spot with a small but varied cigar selection. Drinks are good and service is excellent. Not many people know about it so if you’re looking for a relaxed and intimate smoke check it out.

Very relaxed with amazing selection of cocktails. Can checkout the lobby action as well. Great conversation with the bartender.

Generous peanuts during the day. Decent cocktail menu and wine list. I tried some wines we can't get in the US. Clientele is like sitting in the lobby of the UN.
