"Lenox Coffee, West Harlem by Tracy Zhang. This modern rustic spot is known for their delicious pastries and coffee. Lenox Coffee is always packed but welcoming. Grab yourself a spot in the corner and cozy up over a hot cup of Joe in the winter or cool down over an iced-chai in the summer."

"It’s important to surround yourself with talented people. It applies to building a company, organizing study groups when you didn’t do the reading, and running a great cafe. Lenox Coffee is proof of the latter, offering snacks from Colson Patisserie, Davidovitch, and The Good Batch, as well as milk from Battenkill Farms. This Harlem coffee shop carries its own weight as well, roasting its own beans and baking its own bread and bagels daily. Enjoy all of it while working on the outdoor patio from 7am during the week or 8am on weekends." - Matt Tervooren

This is my favorite neighborhood cafe, by far. Although I always do take it out, it's perfect for meeting up with a friend or just getting some work done. The staff is very friendly and they remember your usual orders, which is great when I am in a rush. Anything you get, you will enjoy. I always get the Iced vanilla oat latte. Is so delicious, and well-prepared. Please try the breakfast sandwich, It’s a must!

uptown coffee shop serving fine coffee and eats on a quiet-ish street is Lennox Coffee. was recently in Harlem and stop in for a Sunday afternoon pick-me-up and was pleasantly delighted by caffeinated beverages, here. there is a good amount of seating inside and some seating outside the entrance. the vibe is relaxed and casual. the coffee dominates the space and there are nice touches like a sleeve of books lined up at the front window. ordered a cold brew with oat milk and it was good. the barista carefully took time making my drink and it showed in the end product. a smooth caffeinated drink perfect for strolling through a neighborhood and taking in its sights, sounds, and charms. this was a delicious drink—wish Lennox was closer to me as i’d be here a lot more often. cold brew, $4 + tax + tip the staff is efficient. wasn’t super chatty but the coffee is good.

This is very cordial, and warm setting. I had a cappuccino with soy milk. My efficacious coffee was just the right potency to cure that mid-day slump feeling. There was a young lady with dreads who helped me to choose a pastry that didn't have nuts in it; this was so help, otherwise I would be having an allergic reaction. The ambiance is very comfortable, low-key, and welcoming. I brought my friend, and she enjoyed the vibe as well. This is a great place to just unwind.

Great cafe with a couple tables to sit and read— or work. They have great looking breakfast bowls, but I only tried the almond latte which was really good. Fast service. Seems like the go-to place for good coffee in East Harlem.

Friendly staff & a very delicious latte - I ordered another after tasting and finishing the first cup. I liked the option of adding tomatoes to my cream cheese bagel, and I enjoyed a small, tasty banana-nut muffin. On a Sunday morning, the line of customers never stopped, but still they served us in a timely manner. Update: my next visit wasn't as great. The latte still tasted delicious, but the person on the counter was rigid and military-like. Totally a different experience from my first visit, so I deducted one star!

There is always a line at 8am when they open but it's actually pleasant -- gives you a time to slow down in this crazy city. Plus, it gives you a sense of how popular (and good!) this coffee shop is. :) The menu is actually larger than what they have on the black board, admittedly, it took me too long to figure that out. Haha. They also have a cute take-one-leave-one book section by the printer. You won't regret stopping by. ❤️

This was my favourite spot to have coffee in my stay in Harlem, I love it. Before you enter in, you'll realize that there's a platform just outside of the place, with a big poster of the café's name. The place is small, but really nice, it has wood tables and chairs, with some old lamps. This place gets crowded after 8am, so if want to have a seat you'd better go early to avoid waiting for a seat. Like in almost every café, there are two lanes, one for order and other in order to wait for orders. Staff is really nice, they are very chatty, kind and welcoming, split in the cashier or preparing the coffee and food. There are a lot of food to have, including pastries, muffins or bagels. There are some different kind of muffins ( my favourite is the blueberries one ) and bagels, where you can choose both bagel and fillings, I sticked with cream cheese, and they also have some different ones. At the end you can have your bagel toasted and they will notify you when it's ready. Apart from typical coffee-related beverages ( they have a lot of different ones ), you can find some kinds of teas or just a Chai Latte, which it's really good. There's a good place to work with your laptop, in fact there are a lot of people with it or just reading a book. The WiFi works really good, and you can find some power plugs on the walls. The ambient is nice and the music is low, but after midday in summer it gets a bit hot as the A/C isn't able to keep up with the heat, but under the fan is okey.
